Shocking Truth
VV was standing on a roof of one of the large buildings and he sighed with disappointment.
"This is unfortunate," VV said, "I had plans to get this Mao kid on my side but that damn Lelouch had already killed him. His Geass would have been useful to me to get what I wanted out of some people," VV sighed again, "how disappointing and I came all the way here in Area 11 for nothing," VV shook his head, "I'll just have to head back."
VV turned around and walked. Meanwhile in the Holding Cells within the Government Bureau, Kewell and his group were still sitting in their cells. Suddenly there were footsteps and they wondered if the guard that was going to inform them of their fates. They looked and saw a guard but they were surprised to see one more person and it was Jarvis.
"Here they are sir," The guard said.
"Thanks," Jarvis said, "I got this."
"Yes my lord," The guard said with a salute.
The guard left and Jarvis looked to make sure the guard was away. Jarvis then went over to stand by the cells holding the disgraced members of the Purist Faction.
"Another Knight of the Round?" Kewell asked surprised.
"I'm Jarvis Trenton, the Knight of Two," Jarvis said, "you people are the ones who have fallen to disgrace."
The group got upset and had knee jerk reactions and Jarvis simply smiled at them.
"How pathetic," Jarvis said, "first it was that unfortunate business with Jeremiah Gottwald and this Orange thing, then you made your attempts to kill Gottwald before Princess Cornelia had arrived here just to save face but only to be stopped by the Engineering Corps's Lancelot Knightmare Frame with its pilot as well as Villetta Nu and the command of Princess Euphemia. Not only that, in Narita, you disobeyed orders and rushed into battle only to be defeated by one Knightmare and then…you attempted to kill a civilian and frame Zero for the deed but only to be reported by Gottwald and Nu and be exposed by Zero and few of your colleagues lost their lives as a result. So what do you say, did I miss anything?"
"So what, did you come here to rub in our faces?" Kewell asked angrily.
"No point in getting so angry with me," Jarvis replied with a serious expression, "you're the ones that messed up. It's your own fault that you're in this predicament."
Kewell clenched his teeth and then moved away within his cell.
"Anyway, I came here to inform you that as of this moment, I'm going to be taking you guys elsewhere," Jarvis said.
"What…what do you mean?" A member asked.
"It's clear that your military careers are destroyed and really, none of you have any chance to repair them, much less getting back to where you were before your disgrace so with that, you'll be…well transferred as sorts. You'll be put to work on something."
"Put to work?" Kewell asked as he and the others were confused, "What do you mean? What work are we going to be doing?"
"You'll find out when we get there," Jarvis said.
Mt. Fuji within Kyoto
Kaguya was staring at the view of the Fuji Mines.
"So this is where you came to," A male voice said.
Kaguya turned around and saw Kirihara as he walked towards Kaguya with his cane. Kirihara stood next to Kaguya and they both looked at the Fuji Mines.
"Didn't I tell you Lord Kirihara?" Kaguya said gleefully, "Didn't I tell you about Zero?"
Kirihara chuckled, "Yes you did. You were right Kaguya but I still wonder how did you know that Lelouch is Zero?"
Kaguya chuckled, "I told you, woman's intuition."
"There has to be more than that," Kirihara said.
"Hmmhmm, well it's only natural that I would know about my future husband," Kaguya said proudly.
"Future husband?" Kirihara replied, "Oh dear…"
"Oh speaking of my future husband," Kaguya said, "he and Nunnally are staying at that school called Ashford Academy, right?"
"That's right," Kirihara said, "from what they told me, the Ashford family has been sheltering them since the end of the war seven years."
"Lord Kirihara, I have a request," Kaguya said with a smile.
Kirihara looked Kaguya with a raised eyebrow.
"Okay…what's your request?" Kirihara asked.
Underground Base
Nunnally was working on things on the computer when Lelouch entered with the long case that held the rifle. Nunnally turned and was relieved to see her brother.
"Lelouch, you're back," Nunnally said.
"Yeah, I made it back," Lelouch said as he placed the long case down.
"So how did it…?" Nunnally spoke.
"There's no need to worry," Lelouch said as he sat next to his sister, "Mao won't be coming back and won't be able to bother anyone anymore. I made sure of it. I'm having Jinta take care of the body."
"I see," Nunnally replied, "I'm sure Shirley will be glad to hear that."
"Yeah," Lelouch said.
"What about CC?" Nunnally asked.
"She's staying at our place right now," Lelouch said, "we came to an understanding."
"I see," Nunnally said.
"How are things here?" Lelouch asked.
"I spoke with Diethard," Nunnally said, "Rai and the others looked through the charts."
"Excellent," Lelouch said, "
"Yes, by the way there's one more thing," Nunnally said.
"Hmm, what is it?" Lelouch asked.
"Lord Kirihara," Nunnally said, "he contacted me not long before you arrived asking for you and me."
"Hmm, was there something he needed?" Lelouch asked.
"Someone wants to meet us personally although not as Zero and Void," Nunnally said, "they want to see us tomorrow."
"And who would that be?" Lelouch asked.
"It's Kaguya," Nunnally said.
"Oh I see," Lelouch replied surprised and then he nodded, "all right. It's not a problem," Lelouch smiled, it'll be good to see Kaguya again."
"Right," Nunnally said, "sure."
"Nunnally?" Lelouch asked.
"It's nothing," Nunnally assured.
"Okay…well anyway Nunnally, I think you've done enough for the day so why don't we head back," Lelouch suggested, "we need to get some sleep for tomorrow."
"Yeah, you're right," Nunnally said.
Nunnally finished and then she and Lelouch walked back together to head back to their residence within the academy.
Ashford Academy
Shirley was in her dorm room and was in her pajamas and laid on her bed. Shirley thought about her times talking with Lelouch from when she told her about her father to wanting to join the Black Knights.
Flashback
"Lulu, would it be possible for me to join the Black Knights?" Shirley asked.
Lelouch was taken aback by surprise.
"Wait, what?" Lelouch responded.
"I wish to join the Black Knights," Shirley said, "I wish to help you in your goals."
Lelouch was still taken aback and he composed himself.
"Shirley, may I ask why?" Lelouch asked, "Why do you want to join the Black Knights? You do realize that were going against Britannia itself."
"I know and I still want to help you," Shirley said.
"Shirley, if it's about me helping your father, then you don't need to go so far," Lelouch said.
"It is part of the reason but also because I see what you plan to do," Shirley said, "Lulu, I've always wanted to help you. I understand on what you're saying and the ugliness of what our country does. I've seen it myself."
"I see," Lelouch said, "Shirley if you really want to, if you really desire to do…"
"It is," Shirley said as she held Lelouch's hands.
"Okay then…" Lelouch said, "We'll go over some things then."

Shirley smiled as she blushed and she tucked herself in trying to sleep.
Geass Order, Place Unknown
VV had just arrived back and he went and sat on his chair and he sighed.
"Director VV!" A cloaked Geass Agent called.
"Hmm?" VV responded looking at the agent that was approaching him, "What is it?"
"His Majesty the Emperor requests your presence," The cloaked Geass Agent said.
"I see," VV said, "Charles wants to see me," VV smiled, "all right then. Spending some time with my younger brother will make me feel better. After all, he and I have such strong bond as brothers and nothing can break that, not inconveniences or annoying nuisances."
"The Emperor is waiting for you in the palace," The agent said.
"Great, I'm on my way," VV said as he left, "you and the other keep things in order while I'm gone."
"Yes Director," The agent complied with a bow.
The Next Day, Area 11 (Japan)
Lelouch and Nunnally carried their own bags and left the campus of Ashford Academy. There were no classes for the day so they didn't have to worry about classes although it was really Nunnally who didn't have to worry about classes. She wondered about Lelouch who had the habit of skipping classes and now ever since they took their roles as masked rebel siblings fighting against their country, Lelouch had used that as a reason and it concerned Nunnally. An hour later, they arrived at the same place where they would be picked up and taken to the place in Kyoto. A limousine arrived and the chauffer greeted Lelouch and Nunnally, The Lamperouge siblings went in the limo and chauffer drove them to where they were last time.
Area 11 Viceroy Palace
In the throne room, Jarvis kneeled before Cornelia and Euphemia.
"It seems that your operation to capture Madd and the other involved in this Code-R project was a success," Cornelia said.
"Yes Your Highness," Jarvis said, "I will be taking Colonel Madd with me. He'll be dealt with for blatantly disobeying orders."
"What about the fact that he tried to have a civilian killed?" Euphie asked with a frown, "Will that be added?"
"I can assure you Princess Euphemia," Jarvis said, "Madd will not make an attempt to do that again."
"Really, is he going to face punishment?" Euphie asked.
"…Yes of course," Jarvis said.
"Really?" Euphie asked suspiciously, "You hesitated there."
"I have my orders from the Emperor himself," Jarvis replied, "Also there's one more thing that I need to inform you."
"What is it?" Cornelia asked.
"The members of the now disbanded Purist Faction," Jarvis said, "I've been ordered to take them into custody."
"By His Majesty?" Cornelia asked.
"Yes," Jarvis said.
"But why?" Euphie asked, "What does Father want with them?"
"I'm not at liberty to say," Jarvis said, "I'm just following orders. I can't say anymore than that."
Cornelia and Euphie frowned and they didn't like what was going on and they were suspicious.
"Will they be court-martialed for their actions at Narita?" Euphie asked.
"My apologies but I'm afraid that I must take my leave right now," Jarvis said as he stood up.
"Hold it, don't try to just shirk your way out of this Trenton," Cornelia said as she stood up.
"My deepest apologies Your Highness but unfortunately I don't have much time left," Jarvis said, "I must get going. I have to arrange transports for the Madd, the researchers, and the Purist Faction. I also need to fly back to Pendragon for His Majesty has new orders for me so I need to take my leave."
Jarvis gave a respectable bow to the two imperial princesses and then he turned and left. Cornelia and Euphie were not happy with what was going on and they both were suspicious of what was going on.
"Just what is going on?" Cornelia asked, "Just what is Father thinking?"
"Something is definitely going on," Euphie said.
"Yes I agree with you Euphie," Cornelia said.
Nonette was at a door and had listened to the conversation with Jarvis, Cornelia, and Euphie and she also didn't like what was going on.
"Something is definitely going on," Nonette said in her head, "Jarvis is definitely involved in a way."
Mt. Fuji within Kyoto
The limo carrying Lelouch and Nunnally arrived and Kaguya was in glee seeing the limo and Kirihara smiled seeing them as well. The chauffer came out and opened the limo's door opened and Lelouch and Nunnally came out and they saw and greeted Kirihara.
"Lord Kirihara," Lelouch said.
"Lord Kirihara," Nunnally said waving.
"Hello you two," Kirihara said happily.
"I'm so glad you're here!" Kaguya said happily.
Lelouch and Nunnally were surprised and wondered who it was. Next thing they knew, they saw someone rushing over and it was Kaguya. Kaguya leaped and held Lelouch much to his and Nunnally's surprise.
"Lelouch!" Kaguya said happily, "I'm so happy to see you!"
"Wait, are you…Kaguya!" Lelouch said surprised.
"Kaguya?!" Nunnally said surprised.
"Kaguya, it's great to see you again," Lelouch said happily, "it's been seven years."
"It's great to see you again Lelouch," Kaguya said blushing and then she looked over to Nunnally, "Nunnally, it's great to see you again as well."
"Uh, y-yeah," Nunnally said with a smile and a twitching eyebrow.
Kirihara looked on and sighed. Later on, Lelouch, Nunnally, Kirihara, and Kaguya were in a room and they all sat on the floor. Kaguya wrapped her arms around Lelouch's right arm feeling giddy and Lelouch laughed nervously while Nunnally just looked at Kaguya remembered her from when they first met eight years ago when she was hiding and holding the leg of her uncle and Suzaku's father, Genbu Kururugi.
"I see," Lelouch said, "so you had already figured out that I was Zero and you told the esteemed members."
"That's right," Kaguya replied, "there was no doubt in my mind. After all, I do know my future husband."
"Future Husband?" Nunnally responded shocked.
"That's right," Kaguya said happily, "it's going to be great Nunnally, that you and I will be sisters."
"Wait, wait, wait, wait," Nunnally said, "stop, stop, stop. Wait a minute Kaguya, when did you become my brother's fiancé?"
"Yeah, actually I want to know that as well," Lelouch said, "Kaguya, when did we get engaged?"
Kaguya just looked at Lelouch and smiled.
"Lelouch, you became my future husband ever since you rescued me," Kaguya said with glee.
"Wait, are you talking about…what happened during the war?" Lelouch asked.
"Of course," Kaguya said, "if it wasn't for you, I'm sure I would have died."
"Oh, I see," Nunnally said with a downcast expression.
"Kaguya, I was just at the right place, at the right time," Lelouch said.
"Yes and my life was protected by you," Kaguya said.
"But even if I wasn't there," Lelouch said, "I know you would have been saved and protected anyway so what I did—"
"No, it was a big deal for me," Kaguya said, "Lelouch, you saved me and carried me when I was down," Kaguya blushed, "you were so brave and strong and really, I was gradually falling for you even though I…"
Kaguya had a sad expression.
"Kaguya," Lelouch said with concern.
Kaguya shook her head and smiled, "Don't worry Lelouch, I'm fine really. It was unfortunate with what had happened with my uncle but at least I can be here and talk to you and Nunnally for that matter."
"Kaguya," Nunnally said.
"So with that, I want to ask you many things," Kaguya said feeling cheerful.
"Sure," Lelouch said smiling.
Lelouch and Kaguya continued to talk so more as Nunnally and Kirihara spoke to each other. Nunnally was concern with Lelouch and Kaguya together as Nunnally had hopes that her brother would be with a certain red headed female.
"She would be suited for my brother," Nunnally said in her head.
Sword of Akasha, C's World
Charles was standing within the weapon and was looking out of the view.
"It seems that Jarvis completed the task you assigned to him," A female voice said.
Charles looked back and it was the same pink haired girl who was affected by Geass as it was Marianne who inhabited the body.
"You can always trust Jarvis to pull through for you just like Bismarck," Marianne said, "He really is truly loyal to you and one of the few people in our inner circle."
"Indeed," Charles said.
"Also, it seems that VV went to Area 11," Marianne said.
"Hmph, what's pathetic is that he thinks that I don't know why he really went there," Charles said with a frown, "when we spoke about it, he just stood there and lied to my face," Charles clenched his teeth in anger, "Why does my big brother insist on lying to me?"
"I'm sorry about it Charles," Marianne said with pity, "it really is unfair to you."
"Don't worry about me Marianne," Charles said, "I will deal with him when the time is right."
"Yes I completely understand," Marianne said, "Now it seems that CC has gone back to our children. It seems they patched things up."
"Yes, it seems that way," Charles said, "What do you make of this Marianne?"
"I think it's fine," Marianne said with a smile, "although I did hope that CC would have chosen to come back to us but it's fine where she is," Marianne nodded as she was confident, "she's still on our side and our long awaited dream will be realized."
"Yes," Charles said as he and Marianne looked up, "our great weapon, the Sword of Akasha will slay God and as a result, the old world will be destroyed and a new one will be born."
"I look forward when that day comes," Marianne said as she was pleased, "and I'm sure that Lelouch and Nunnally will actually appreciate it."
The Next Day, Black Knights' Mobile Base, Area 11 (Japan)
Naoto, Ohgi, Diethard, and Keitaro entered the room and they sat in a table. In front of them was a monitor. They turned on the monitor and Lelouch appeared and Diethard felt giddy seeing Lelouch. The following morning after disposing Mao, Lelouch and Nunnally met with Diethard as Zero and Void. It was then that after going through the tests that they placed on Diethard, they were satisfied with the results and showed their faces to Diethard. Diethard was surprised as he recognized them as the exiled prince and princess of Britannia, Lelouch and Nunnally vi Britannia who had been reported dead for seven years. For Diethard, it was exciting and even better than what he had imagined as he thought back and had realized that they were the ones that had prevailed over Britannian forces in Area 11 over and over again, especially against Cornelia and her forces in Saitama, Narita, and Yokosuka. He had plans to document them as he felt in his belief that they really were going to bring the Britannian Empire down and reduce the empire that controlled one third of the world into a mere shell and Diethard happily couldn't wait to get it all on camera. They started the meeting with Lelouch via communications on screen.
"That's right," Naoto started, "armament upgrades for our Knightmares are complete and they'll be shipped to us shortly to the locations we specified. We've also set up schedules for Training Regiments for our members."
"Right," Ohgi said, "Kyoto and the Military District of India have come to terms so we're just waiting for Rakshata and her team to arrive."
"Excellent," Lelouch said with a nod.
"Now then," Diethard spoke, "The organization changed over to a cell base structure is now 92% complete. The members have also been ranked into 14 tiers. As you directed, we've infiltrated all Britannian warehouses. Now within the Kanto block, combat personnel have been disbursed into 564 separate locations. 32 of our positions have been uncovered, 11 of those are dummies and a couple dozen of our members have been apprehended. However, since information has been firewalled above Class A members, the Britannians aren't getting anything out of them."
"All right," Lelouch said, "but even though our captured members can't provide anything useful to them, we should still get them back. I'll work out a plan with Sayoko on that end."
"Right, understood," Diethard said.
"Of course now that we have the unwavering support of the Kyoto Group, we're seeing almost no more cases of citizens tipping off the authorities," Keitaro said, "now received the list of our Britannian supporters, the group you and Nunnally made arraignments with."
"Speaking of Britannian support Lelouch," Naoto said, "I heard that you're about to add another of your classmates in."
"Yes Shirley Fenette," Lelouch said.
"Oh, she's the daughter of the man who you protected in Narita, right?" Ohgi spoke.
"Yes and she believes in our cause," Lelouch said, "she has seen firsthand the ugliness and corruption of Britannia's way. We'll discuss things further later."
"Okay then," Naoto said, "we got much to talk about later."
Ohgi, Keitaro, and Diethard agreed as well.
"Now then on the other matter," Lelouch said, "Lieutenant Colonel Todoh?"
"Right, unfortunately we haven't been able to locate Todoh or the Four Holy Swords for that matter," Ohgi said.
"I see," Lelouch said as he was disappointed, "I hope nothing happened to them."
"We'll keep looking," Diethard said, "I'm sure we'll find them."
"All right," Lelouch said.
"Another thing leader," Keitaro said, "regarding the matter with the Chinese Federation."
"Yes, I'm sending CC," Lelouch said.
Area 11 Airport
Nunnally was on the phone and she nodded.
"Okay, I understand," Nunnally said.
The person spoke on the other line and Nunnally smiled.
"Don't worry, it's fine," Nunnally said.
CC walked by and she was wearing a blue business suit with glasses and had a black wig tied to a bun.
"Okay, I'll be back soon," Nunnally said and then she hung up the phone and looked at CC, "You look good in that."
"Thanks," CC replied, "but Nunnally seriously, are you and Lelouch really okay to send me to the Chinese Federation?"
"We are," Nunnally said, "just please be careful CC. Lelouch says that you act humble, they'll look down on you."
"Well unlike your brother, I actually have some humility," CC commented.
"Oh, is that so?" Nunnally replied.
"Yeah I'm serious," CC said with a smile.
"Sure sure if you say so," Nunnally said.
"You also want me to check in on Katase and his group, right?" CC spoke.
"Yes, please do," Nunnally said with a nod, "how's your passport?"
"An excellent forgery," CC said, "okay, I'm off."
"Right, please give our regards to Xingke and his group," Nunnally said.
"Will do," CC said as she left.
Nunnally watched CC leave and then she turned and went on her way out of the airport.
Flashback: Seven Years Ago
Lelouch, Nunnally, and Suzaku were walking on a path and on each side of them were dead bodies. The bodies were people were had been indiscriminately killed by the invading Britannian forces. It was too much for Nunnally and she held on her brother tight and wanted to shut her eyes on the horrific sight she had seen. Lelouch held his sister close to him and they kept walking as Suzaku was following them.
"Where are we going?" Nunnally asked, "Are getting moved to another place again?"
"It's one of the Kururugi's homes," Lelouch answered, "This time it's the main house."
Suzaku stopped and looked and was heartbroken seeing so many lives ended.
"Keep on walking Suzaku," Lelouch said.
"But…" Suzaku spoke upset.
"I know but that's why we should keep going," Lelouch said.
"This is horrible," Nunnally said as she was tearing up, "I don't understand, how could this happen?"
Nunnally started to cry and couldn't bring herself to keep going and broke down crying. Suzaku was shaking up and was started to get teary eyed as well. Lelouch looked at his sister and friend and he knew how they felt. He grabbed both of them and held them tight.
"I know, I know," Lelouch said, "it's too much, too cruel. I'm sad about this as well. I feel the same way as you two. We have to keep going though. We can't just stay here. We won't be able to do anything for them."
"I hope that Naoto and Kallen are okay," Nunnally said, "I hope they didn't…"
"Don't worry Nunnally," Lelouch assured, "I'm sure they're fine."
"Really?" Nunnally asked as she sniffled.
"Yeah, Naoto is tough and he can protect himself and Kallen so let's move so we can see them again," Lelouch said and then turned to Suzaku, "right? So you can meet them Suzaku."
"Y-Yeah," Suzaku replied and then felt better as he wiped the tears from his eyes, "you're right Lelouch."
Flashback End
Nunnally was walking and was heading back to Ashford Academy.
"I never want a repeat of what happened to ever occur again," Nunnally said, "I have to be strong for myself and my brother who has always protected and shielded me."
Ashford Academy
Lelouch sat on his bed and thought about what had happened seven years ago with the mental state that Nunnally and Suzaku were in seeing the firsthand horrific scene of the invasion.
"Never again," Lelouch said, "for the sake of all those lives, Britannia will be brought down."
ASEEC Knightmare Hanger
Suzaku was reading a book and thought about what had happened seven years when he along with Lelouch and Nunnally witnessed the horrific scene of the invasion.
"Never again," Suzaku said, "for that reason, I will change Britannia from within. I'll earn their trust and then change can really happen."
The Next Day, Ashford Academy
Lelouch and Rai were walking together in their school uniforms and they were talking among themselves of their plans.
"Hey Lelouch!" Someone called, "Rai!"
Lelouch and Rai turned and saw Suzaku running to meet up with them.
"Oh Suzaku," Lelouch said.
"Hey Suzaku," Rai said.
"What's up?" Suzaku said and then he turned to Lelouch, "You know Lelouch they're going to hold you back if you don't start coming to class."
"Well I could say the same about you," Lelouch replied.
"Well I have work to do," Suzaku explained, "It's just that the Black Knights have really been on the move and it's making things difficult."
"Hold on, I thought you were in Engineering," Lelouch responded.
"Y-Yeah but it's just that we're shorthanded so they move me around," Suzaku said berated himself internally for almost revealing that he was actually fighting.
"Hmmm…" Rai responded.
"Anyway Lelouch," Suzaku said, "I want to clear something up to you."
"Huh, what are you talking about?" Lelouch replied.
"Well, it's about what we talked about before and what I was concerned about," Suzaku said.
"Oh that," Lelouch said.
"Yeah, Lelouch you see—" Suzaku spoke.
Suzaku was interrupted when Rivalz arrived on his motorcycle and rushed over to Lelouch.
"Hey Lelouch!" Rivalz said in a panic
"What's wrong Rivalz?" Lelouch asked.
"I heard that the President is doing a blind date again!" Rivalz said upset.
"Yeah today," Lelouch said nonchalantly.
"Today?" Rivalz responded surprised and got in Lelouch's face grabbing his shirt collar, "Why didn't you tell me about it?"
"Because it would make you cry," Lelouch answered.
"Boys don't cry!" Rivalz insisted.
"It's okay, I didn't know about it either," Suzaku commented.
Rivalz turned to Suzaku, "Hey, don't give me your emo routine!"
"Emo?" Suzaku replied confused.
"I guess compassion is not in fashion these days," Lelouch said.
Rai just looked at Rivalz and wondered and then he realized something.
"Oh, I get it," Rai said, "I get why you're so upset now Rivalz."
"Huh?" Rivalz responded looking at Rai.
"Uh Rai, are you just realizing it now?" Lelouch asked.
"Y-Yeah…" Rai replied.
"Ah Rai," Lelouch said with a sigh.
Rai shrugged in response and Suzaku just looked at Rai and Lelouch and he was confused.
"Lulu!" A female voice called.
Lelouch, Rai, Suzaku, and Rivalz looked over and saw Shirley running towards them happily waving.
"Hi Shirley," Lelouch greeted with a smile.
Shirley stopped in front of Lelouch.
"Hi," Shirley said.
"Well, you're in a cheery mood," Suzaku commented with a smile.
"Oh, uh yeah, I guess I am," Shirley said happily.
"Uh, at least you're in a happy mood," Rivalz said still feeling depressed.
"Huh, what's wrong Rivalz?" Shirley asked.
"Oh, he's upset about the fact that the President is going on a blind date," Rai said.
"Oh, that's actually happening today," Shirley said.
"Huh?" Rivalz responded looking at Shirley shocked, "Wait Shirley, you know about that?"
"Uh yeah I do," Shirley replied.
"How come you didn't say anything about it?" Rivalz asked emotionally.
"Because it would make you cry," Shirley replied.
"Boys don't cry!" Rivalz complained.
Shirley sighed and then turned to Lelouch, "Lulu, there's something I want to talk to you about."
"Sure, we have some time before class start," Lelouch said.
"Okay then," Shirley said with a smile.
Lelouch turned to the three boys.
"We'll see you guys in class," Lelouch said.
"Sure, no problem," Rai said.
Lelouch and Shirley took off.
"My life is over and they're off making their own date plans," Rivalz complained.
"Rivalz, quit," Rai said concerned, "right now you're being so uncool."
"Leave me alone," Rivalz replied, "you wouldn't understand."
"This is nice," Suzaku said.
"Huh, what is?" Rai asked turning to Suzaku.
"Well it seems that Lelouch and Shirley are really getting along," Suzaku said with a smile, "it's seems that they're getting close."
Rai smiled in response, "Yeah, I suppose," Rai then had his thoughts, "considering everything that had happened…"
Meanwhile in Lelouch and Nunnally's residence, Nunnally and Alice were in the common room and Alice was folding origami. Nunnally was happy with what she was seeing and was impressed.
"That's great Alice," Nunnally said, "you learned quickly."
"That's only because you and Sayoko are good teachers," Alice said.
The two smiled and giggled as they displayed their crane origamis on the table. There was a sudden ring on Nunnally's cell phone and Nunnally looked at the caller ID.
"Oh," Nunnally said and then answered as she placed her phone on her ear, "Hello?"
ASEEC Knightmare Hanger
Lloyd was typing away on the computer and sitting near him was Milly in a formal dress with a hat as it was the blind date that was set up by her parents.
"Are you surprised?" Lloyd asked in glee facing Milly, "Matchmaking dates are usually in hotels or restaurants."
"Y-Yeah," Milly replied, "I suppose that's true. Although I've heard that you're a very unique person Lord Asplund."
"Unique you say," Lloyd replied as he went back to his work, "what an awful delightful way to put it."
"I'm surprised that you're interested in a girl from the downgraded Ashford Family after we've lost our rank," Milly said.
Lloyd stopped working and faced Milly again with a smile.
"Oh ho I couldn't care less about the loss of rank," Lloyd said.
Cecile came by and had a tray that had a pot of tea and two teacups.
"Excuse me," Cecile said as she placed the tray down next to them.
"I'm sorry to trouble you," Milly said.
"Oh no not at all," Cecile assured with a smile, "take your time."
"No need for that," Lloyd interjected, "why draw it out? Let's get married."
Cecile and Milly were shocked in what Lloyd just said.
"Huh, that's it?!" Milly replied surprised and shocked.
"Oh getting cold feet?" Lloyd replied as he typed away again.
Ashford Academy
Lelouch and Shirley were at another area within the campus and they were alone.
"Colonel Madd was apprehended along with the Code-R Research Team?" Lelouch asked.
"Yes, my father received a call informing him of that Madd guy and his cohorts were taken into custody," Shirley said, "he was assured that Madd won't be able to come after us anymore."
"Do you know who it was?" Lelouch asked.
"Yeah, it seems that it was another Knight of the Round that showed up," Shirley said.
"Another Knight of the Round?" Lelouch asked surprised.
"Yes, he introduced himself as the Knight of Two, Jarvis Trenton," Shirley said.
"Jarvis Trenton?" Lelouch said surprised.
"Hmm, do you know him Lulu?" Shirley asked.
"Y-Yeah I do," Lelouch said and then had a frown, "a long time ago."
"Hmm, well if you want, you can talk about it if you feel up to it," Shirley said, "I'll listen."
Lelouch looked at Shirley and smiled, "I will, thanks Shirley."
"Oh it's the least I can do," Shirley said with a smile, "you've done so much for me," Shirley blushed, "so I want to help you in any way I can."
Lelouch was touched and smiled at Shirley.
"Thanks Shirley," Lelouch said.
"No Lulu," Shirley said smiling, "thank you, thank you for what you've done for me and thank you for letting me in," Shirley did a small chuckle, "you know, it was always my hope that I would eventually to be able know you better."
"I see," Lelouch said.
Lelouch and Shirley were being watched from afar and the person watching them was Jinta.
"Man, what a touching scene," Jinta said, "it's just like…"
Flashback: 1558atb
Jinta was wearing a blue samurai kimono with his hair tied to an upper ponytail and facing a young woman long black hair and was wearing an elegant kimono. The two faced each other with pleasant and loving expression.
"Jinta, thank you," The young woman said.
"Princess," Jinta said happily, "it is I who should thank you. You saved me, given me a reason to live."
The princess smiled happily and went to Jinta and hugged him. Jinta was surprised but felt happy and hugged the princess back.
"Princess Shizuru," Jinta said in kind tone.
Flashback End
Jinta had his eyes closed and then he opened them still thinking about Princess Shizuru.
"Princess Shizuru," Jinta said and then he felt sad and then he shook his head, "no, I can't act like this. I know that she would be sad to see me like this."
Port Yokosuka
Hideaki walked and he looked around and he had an ear piece on his right ear.
"Do you copy Private Abe?" Villetta's voice contacted.
"Yes ma'am," Hideaki responded, "I'm all set," Hideaki looked and saw a certain warehouse, "I see the warehouse where they are staying. I'll be moving right in."
"Excellent," Villetta said, "the first phase is to get yourself in as a member."
"Yes ma'am," Hideaki said, "okay, I'm going in."
Hideaki proceeded to move in and he was able to see members of the Black Knights in the warehouse and moved onward for his objective.
Area 11 Viceroy Palace
Villetta was sitting in a computer room maintaining contact with the Honorary Britannian soldier who was in Port Yokosuka.
"This plan is perfect," Villetta said in her head, "sending that Eleven as a mole, we'll be able to destroy the Black Knights from the inside and then eventually will lead us to Zero and Void. I'll expose them and finally get the recognition that I need. I need to wipe away the mistake I made in Yokosuka."
The door opened and Jeremiah walked in and saw Villetta.
"Villetta," Jeremiah said.
"Lord Jeremiah," Villetta responded looking at Jeremiah.
"I see that you've already begun," Jeremiah said.
"Yes, the Eleven I sent is about to enter warehouse where members of the Black Knights are staying," Villetta said.
"Are you sure it will work?" Jeremiah asked.
"Of course it will," Villetta said with confidence.
"Hmm," Jeremiah responded.
Port Yokosuka
Hideaki walked up to the members of the Black Knights and they all had their visors on. Three of them were Yoshida, Minami, and Tamaki.
"Who are you?" Tamaki asked.
"I'm here to join," Hideaki said, "I'm Hideaki Abe."
"Oh it's you," Yoshida said, "We've been expecting you."
"Yes, thanks for coming," Minami said.
"Thank you for having me," Hideaki said and then he had his thoughts as he was feeling confident, "Excellent, I'm in."
Hideaki was led to an area and they had Hideaki sit on a chair.
"Hideaki Abe," Minami said, "you wish to join us."
"Yes, I've kept track about the Black Knights and it seems that you guys really stand a chance to really beat Britannia," Hideaki said, "I want in."
"Okay first we need to know," Yoshida said, "why do you want to join us?"
"I want to help free our country," Hideaki said, "and I want revenge for Britannia has done."
"Revenge you say?" Tamaki replied.
"Yes I was originally from Shinjuku," Hideaki said, "the people that I knew there are all gone, killed due to Britannia's whims and the fact that they tried to hide it."
"I see," Minami said, "you lost people important to you as well."
"Yes and I want to do my part," Hideaki said, "I admire Zero for what he has done and I want in. Oh, I hope I can meet Zero personally," Hideaki grinned, "I want to shake his hand and I have all sorts of questions for him."
Yoshida, Tamaki, and Minami looked at each other and then back to Hideaki.
"I see, well it's understandable with what our leader has done," Minami said.
"We can always have more people in our organization," Tamaki said.
"With everything that has happened, the Black Knights are the only group left to free Japan from Britannia," Hideaki commented, "I want to be part of it and get them payback. In fact, I know a few places where we can hit and really mess things up for Britannia. If you'll let me, I can get us a way to get to Cornelia and we can capture her. We hold her and use her to get our demands."
Yoshida, Minami, and Tamaki looked at each other and they nodded and then they turned right back to Hideaki.
"People are always welcome to join us," Yoshida said, "just as Zero said, 'those with no power, rise with us if you choose to.' That what Zero always says."
"Anyway looks like we have a new recruit," Minami said, "…at least, that what we would say but…"
"But?" Hideaki replied confused.
Minami showed Hideaki something on the screen of a laptop and Hideaki was shocked in what he saw. Hideaki twitched an eyebrow when he was seeing a picture of himself as a Britannian soldier and the files showing he was still in active duty.
"W-What?" Hideaki spoke shocked.
"This is you no doubt," Minami said, "Honorary Britannian soldier who is actually Private Hideaki Abe."
"Yeah and funny thing about this is that you're not really from Shinjuku," Tamaki said, "You're actually from Kochi."
"Another thing is that you actually were part of a group of Honorary Britannian soldiers that were looking for the canister back when it was thought to be poison gas," Yoshida said.
"So with that…" Minami said.
Tamaki and Yoshida quickly held on Hideaki which surprised him and Minami quickly grabbed the ear piece that Hideaki had in his ear.
"Yep this is the one," Minami said, "this is what you're using to keep in communication," Minami then spoke in the ear piece, "unfortunately for you, we've seen through your plan. Your plan failed so with that over and out."
Minami then crushed the ear piece in his hand and Hideaki was shocked.
"H-How?" Hideaki said shocked, "How did you know?"
"Hmph, you would like to know, wouldn't you?" Tamaki replied.
"You're not the first who tried to infiltrate our ranks with the intent to destroy us from the inside," Yoshida said.
"So what did your superior officer promise you if you did this?" Minami asked.
Hideaki clenched his teeth in frustration and had his head down.
"You all just don't understand," Hideaki said frustrated, "you will never succeed. You may have gotten the upper hand so far against Viceroy Cornelia and her forces but Britannia is still strong. They control one third of the world with their greatest military might and their excellent tacticians. There's no way you guys will ever beat Britannia no matter what you do and when you lose, it will be a lot worse for Area 11," Hideaki glared at the three men, "it will happen and you all know it and that dumbass Zero is dooming this country!"
"Hey, don't insult our leader!" Tamaki reacted angrily.
"I'm telling you the truth!" Hideaki replied.
"So what, you believe that the best thing for us to just bow our heads to Britannia?" Minami asked.
"It's our only choice because we're Elevens," Hideaki replied, "Suzaku Kururugi understands that and there are others who understand that as well. It's a lot better than what you people are doing right now. You're ruining things for us who don't want to trouble with Britannia."
"Why you…" Tamaki said angrily.
"We should let them know," Yoshida said to Minami.
"Yeah I know," Minami said, "I'll get right on to it," Minami then looked at Hideaki, "as for him…"
Hideaki looked at Minami and then he looked away.
"Whatever you do to me will not help," Hideaki said.
Area 11 Viceroy Palace
In the computer room, Villetta and Jeremiah were shocked at what they had just heard.
"They knew?" Villetta spoke, "But how did they…?"
"Damn, they were two steps ahead," Jeremiah said.
"But I don't understand," Villetta said still shocked, "how could they have possibly known?"
"That is a good question," A female voice said.
Jeremiah and Villetta were surprised and they looked and saw Nonette.
"Lady Enneagram," Villetta said.
"It seems that the Black Knights are more resourceful then we realized," Nonette said as she sat in a chair next Jeremiah, "this plan of yours Nu was a bust."
"I thought that if it succeeded, it would make up the mistake I made in Yokosuka," Villetta said sadly.
"Speaking of mistakes, a serious one had been made that General Darlton, Lord Guilford, and Viceroy Cornelia brought to my attention," Nonette said.
"Huh, what do you mean?" Jeremiah asked.
"It's about Narita," Nonette said as she crossed her arms.
"Narita?" Jeremiah asked.
"It seems there was something that had bothered them for some time," Nonette said, "the operation to move in and destroy the Japan Liberation Front was an operation that was supposed to be kept classified. Even with the Black Knights figuring things out, they had the place surrounded and they would not have moved in without them knowing about it," Nonette narrowed her eyes, "and yet…Zero and his people were already at the summit before they even got there and they were able to induce that rockslide and killed most of our soldiers. Now how do you suppose they were able to do that?"
"Nonette, what are you trying to say?" Jeremiah asked.
"What I'm trying to say," Nonette said as she glared at Jeremiah and Villetta, "is that someone leaked information to Zero about the operation in Narita," Nonette sighed as she closed her eyes and opened them to look at the two former members of the Purist Faction, "we had a little talk with your old buddies in the cells and they confirmed that you two went somewhere to talk to someone."
Jeremiah and Villetta were shocked and they were nervous because they had dread feeling of what it was going to.
"Did you two make the foolish mistake in talking to someone about the operation?" Nonette asked, "Because we believe that whoever you two talked to either leaked the information to Zero or someone working with that person did, or it could be both. Now if that's the case, you two messed up. You were not supposed to be divulging information about the operation outside the military personnel."
Jeremiah and Villetta were nervous and they clenched their fists.
"That damn Diethard Reid!" Jeremiah said angrily in his head.
Ashford Academy
It was lunch time in Ashford Academy and almost all the members and the two honorary members of the Student Council were hanging out in the Student Council Room enjoying their free time. Milly, the Student Council President was still absent from her blind date and Rivalz felt depressed. Lelouch and Nunnally excused themselves as they went out and assured them that they would be back before the next class started. Afterwards, they headed back to their residence and went inside and there they went to Lelouch's room and turned on his computer. Lelouch pushed some buttons and CC appeared on the screen.
"CC," Lelouch said.
"Lelouch and Nunnally," CC said with a nod.
"How is it going in the Chinese Federation?" Nunnally asked.
"So far so good," CC said, "my meeting is in an hour but that's not why I called you."
"Is something wrong CC?" Lelouch asked as he and Nunnally were concerned.
"Lelouch, I spoke with General Katase and he informed me of something he felt you and Nunnally should know," CC said.
"Huh, what is it?" Lelouch asked.
"It's about Prime Minister Genbu Kururugi," CC said.
"Prime Minister Kururugi?" Lelouch asked surprised.
"Suzaku's father?" Nunnally asked.
"Yes, well to be specific, it's about how he died," CC said.
"Wait, why bring up the fact that the Prime Minister committed suicide?" Nunnally asked concerned.
"That's the thing," CC said, "the thing about the Prime Minister committing suicide is completely false."
Lelouch and Nunnally were shocked in what they were just told.
"CC, what are you talking about?" Lelouch asked.
"Genbu Kururugi did not commit suicide," CC said, "the truth is that Japan's last Prime Minister was actually killed."
"He was killed?" Nunnally replied shocked.
"Yes, Prime Minister Kururugi was killed seven years ago," CC said, "and the one who killed was his own son."
"Suzaku?!" Lelouch and Nunnally said shocked again.
"Yes, it seems that Genbu Kururugi really did call for a do-or-die resistance against Britannia seven years ago," CC said, "he was ready to sacrifice Japan. He felt that it would be better to let it get destroyed rather than have it enslaved by Britannia. Now I'm sure you can imagine that Suzaku didn't take it well of what his father was planning for. So he got in argument with him and he thought that by stopping his father, it would stop the war itself but things got out of hand and Suzaku…well, he stabbed his father with a knife."
"I see," Lelouch said as he had a downcast expression.
"But why?" Nunnally asked, "All the reports said that Suzaku's father committed suicide as a protest to stop the war."
"It was all done to protect Suzaku," Lelouch deduced.
"Yeah," CC said, "that's what it comes down to."
"…Lord Kirihara," Lelouch said, "he's the one who made the report so in other words, it's not just Suzaku's secret."
"…I see," Nunnally said, "but CC, are you certain about this?"
"It's the truth," CC said.
Lelouch and Nunnally were taking in what they had just learned of the shocking truth of how Genbu Kururugi really died seven years ago. Meanwhile in the Student Council Room, Suzaku just got bit by Arthur and Suzaku was in pain when he did a small yelp and it brought everyone's attention.
"Ho boy, again?" Rai said.
"You okay Suzaku?" Alice asked.
"What's the matter Arthur?" Kallen asked, "Don't you like your food?"
"Arthur, why do you always bite me?" Suzaku complained.
Suzaku freed himself and sighed in relief and then he smiled at the cat that just went on to eat his food.
