Episode 0:

The next day it was another day at the autobot academy. There were lessons on tactics and combat training. Aside from that nothing else was interesting to Optimus. His thoughts focusing on the fembot he had fallen for so fast.

For Causeway it was the same for her. The lovely mech clad in red and blue had been occupying her thoughts. She kept thinking about him. They way he looked so good, the way he saved her from those jerks. And how he was such a gentlebot. "Oh scrap". Causeway thought to herself.

"OH SCRAP! Have I really fell for Optimus right now. This cannot be true. I mean he's out of my league. He's trying to be an elite guard commander while I just want to be an intelligence officer. But he's so attractive. I've never felt this way for anyone before.

"Causeway, Is there something wrong?" The academy teacher said. All optics from her classmates were on her. "No sir, please continue." Causeway said.

This was going to be a long solar cycle.

Optimus had just walked out of an academy building. He wanted to see Causeway again, at the same time the class was so boring that he just wanted to sit down on a bench. He found one and sat down relaxing. He took a deep sigh. And leaned back with his head looking up to the sky while his optics were closed.

All of a sudden he'd felt two delicate Servos on his cheeks while hearing a familiar lovely voice. "Hey Optimus."

Optimus jumped and his optics shot open. "C-Causeway!" He exclaimed before falling off the bench and into the floor.

"Oh, Ahh!" Causeway exclaimed as well before falling on top of him.

Both Optimus and Causeway held their head and body respectively, before realizing the position they were in.

They quickly got up, blushing while looking away from each other.

Optimus was the first to break the silence "S-So, it's very nice to see you." He said while blushing hard.

"It's nice to see you again as well, Optimus." Causeway replied.

"I couldn't pay attention in classes because of you!" They said in unison. Before covering their mouths. Did we just say the exact same thing. These were the exact words going through their mind.

"Does this mean…" Optimus thought to himself.

"That he may…" Causeway thought to herself.

Before they knew it, they were leaning closer to each other. That is, when fate decided to ruin things for them.

"HEY OPTIMUS" a familiar voice said.

Optimus froze in his tracks.

Causeway looked in the direction from where she heard the voice. A few meters south from where she and Optimus both stood, she saw a big bulky mech with a mountain sized chin clad in blue, black, and silver colors with orange accents on his antennae and shoulder pylons.

She then noticed another one. A fembot specifically. One clad in turquoise and yellow colors. With a ponytail on her helm. Despite being an autobot due to seeing the symbol on her chest plating. She felt something strange about the other fembot. Like she was on the verge of taking her offline. It was a creepy feeling.

"We've been looking everywhere for you. You haven't spoken to us the whole day and you kept disappeari- Ooh La La" The mech said before wiping any dirt off of his armor plating which was already polished to perfection.

Causeway cringed internally. That mech reminds me of the jerk Optimus saved me from.

"Oh hey Sentinel, hey elita." Optimus greeted politely.

Both Sentinel and Elita laid optics on the femme in red and orange. The former eyeing her like a trophy the other eyeing her like she was going to be her murder victim. Of course both knew who she was because of spying on her.

It made Causeway cringe internally.

"So Optimus looks like you have a new friend." Elita said with venom at the last word.

"Yeah old buddy! Aren't you going to introduce your gorgeous friend *cough* my *cough* future girlfriend *cough* to us?" Sentinel said while trying to look attractive by flexing. Clearly trying to get Causeway's attention but to no avail.

Optimus didn't really hear the important part that sentinel said. He then looked at Causeway before saying. "Oh right, Causeway, these are my best friends. The mech being Sentinel, and the fem being Elita-1". Optimus replied. "Sentinel, Elita-1 this is Causeway my new friend."

Causeway was internally disappointed at what Optimus said, as she wanted to be more than just a friend.

"It is a pleasure to meet you my lady", Sentinel said. Trying to attract her with his non-existent gentlebot charm." It was evident to Causeway that he was feigning it only to attract her. Unlike Optimus whom she could tell was a genuine gentlebot to the core of his spark.

However it would be rude to not act friendly so Causeway decided to react appropriately. She extended a hand to Sentinel who then shook it.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Sentinel. Optimus has told me a lot about you." Causeway said.

"Oh well I hope many of them are good things. After all, you are going to be my spark mate in the future" Sentinel replied but mumbled every last word after saying "good things".

Elita one then stepped closer to Causeway before extending a hand towards her rival for Optimus. "It's nice to meet you, Causeway. I hope you and I can be friends." Elita one replied with venom at her voice hinting at the jealousy. She extended a hand.

Causeway was starting to feel creeped out but decided to take it anyway. "It's nice to meet you Elita-1." She shook Elita's hand, but noticed that the yellow bot was gripping hard. She released it a few seconds later.

Sentinel put an arm around her shoulder, trying to come between Optimus and her Causeway however gently removed it and went back to Optimus. "Now that introductions are out of the way. Why don't we do something fun together. To strengthen the new bonds between friends."

He took Elita's arm intent on making Causeway jealous. Elita also looked at Optimus intent on making him jealous.

Optimus wrapped his servos around Causeway's own hand. The two then walked off to follow them.

Many stellar cycles later

Causeway, remembered that moment. It was where she met the love of her life, Optimus. She lost contact with him many years ago after the "incident". However, she made a promise to to herself.

-I'm so sorry for the Causeway.

-I don't care, you didn't have to take it please. I- I lo..

That was the last thing she said before he was hauled off by police bots for a military tribunal.

Ever since that day she swore to find her lost friend, so that she may finally say those three special words.

"Prime!"

"Yes," Causeway replied.

"What are your orders?' one of her subordinates said. Causeway was already a member of the elite guard and a high ranking one at that. After all she did hold the rank of prime, she didn't like the name. They were on a ship that had just finished gathering intel from other planets about the Decepticons.

"Oh right, Let's go back home." her team needed to deliver the files they got.

"Course for Cybertron set, causeway pri-!" All of the sudden the ship shook violently.

"What happened!" Causeway replied.

"The ship's been hit, we're losing power!" The alarms began to blare violently.

The ship was hit again. But this time it made a hole in the hull. A giant behemoth of a decepticon stepped through.

"Blackout" Causeway said with some fear evident in her voice.

"Hello Autobots!" Blackouts began to shoot everywhere and smashing everything in sight. Causeway activated her energon swords and engaged Blackout.

Blackout began to hit her with his blasters. The bullet bolts were deflected by her swords but she was still hit by some of them. By the time he stopped, she was already bleeding energon in a few places.

Blackout continued to hit her with bullet fire. But Causeway activated a force field. Her signature modification. It was futile however because Blackout stomped the ship's floor delivering an electromagnetic pulse that shorted her out. Blackout then gave a powerful fist that would have killed her.

Had it not been for another autobot taking her place, minimizing the damage.

"Roller! No!" Causeway exclaimed.

His frame was damaged, his optics was destroyed, and the ship was close to exploding.

"Come on roller, I won't leave you behind, I won't leave anyone behind again."

"Boss… P-please… Get out of here… Use… Escape pod…" Roller pointed.

His spark was already fading. The Causeway looked around. Every autobot under her command had died because of her. She began to leak a few energon tears. Blackout had torn one of her subordinates in half and now he was coming for her

"No! I won't leave you!" She exclaimed angrily.

"Do…It…For…me… Avenge…us." Roller said before his spark finally expired and his body that was once blue, turned into a dull shade of lifeless gray.

Blackout was about to deliver the finishing blow with his giant clawed fist. When Causeway eventually jumped into the escape pods. The coordinates being locked into a familiar planet. The pod launched, and seconds after the ship completely exploded. But not before Blackout managed to escape.

Causeway watched all of this with horror. First she lost the love of her life, she lost her friends. And then she lost her teammates. It was too much for her to handle. She started to sob loudly.

She began to feel light-headed, and noticed that she was bleeding energon a lot more than usual. She closed her eyes out of fatigue, and soon after everything went black.

Meanwhile the pod continued its course to the planet. It landed after a long time mistaken by the natives of the planet as a shooting star.

The pod crashed in the waters, Where its contents slumbered in stasis for what seemed to be a lifetime.
