The Black Rebellion Part One
Zero and Void were meeting with Shirley and Milly and Zero handed something to Milly. The two young ladies looked at the item and were surprised and they looked at Zero.
"Lulu, is this really accurate?" Shirley asked.
"Yes, we were able to confirm them," Zero said.
"I see," Milly said as she closed her eyes, "to be honest, I had my suspicion on them."
"Oh you did Madam President?" Shirley asked looking at Milly.
"Well sort of," Milly said as she opened her eyes looking at Shirley and then towards Zero and Void, "anyway, we'll be ready by the time you arrive."
"Right," Zero said with a nod, "please let your grandfather know about this."
"Not to worry, he's already aware and will be expecting you," Milly assured, "anyway, Shirley…"
"Right," Shirley said with a nod.
"Be careful on your way back," Void said.
"Sure," Shirley said happily, "Nunna, Lulu."
"Thank you both so much," Zero said, "Thank you for helping our sister Cornelia."
"It's was our pleasure," Milly said.
"Anything for you two," Shirley said.
Shirley and Milly left and went on their way back to Ashford Academy as they were being accompanied by Sayoko and Jeremiah on their way out of the former Viceroy Palace. Zero and Void then went on their way to go where they needed to be.
In the air
Three flagships were in the air and were in place floating next to each other. It was the flagships that belonged to Schneizel, Cornelia, and Marrybell. In Cornelia's flagship, Schneizel with Kanon was walking with Cornelia, Guilford, Marrybell, and Oldrin. They arrived in one of the room where the bodies of Castor and Pollux rui Britannia laid. Schneizel went closer to look at his younger half-brothers. Kanon stood next to his prince and looked at the two dead teenage princes.
"It really is them," Kanon said.
"Zero ended their lives in retaliation," Schneizel said upset, "just like he did to Clovis."
"And they were involved in orchestrating that disaster in the Special Zone with the attempts of not only towards Princess Euphemia but you two as well," Kanon said as he looked at Cornelia and Marrybell.
"That's right," Cornelia said with a frown and glared at her younger brothers, "I will never forgive them for what they have done."
"Yes, what they did is unforgivable," Marrybell said with a frown.
"Very well," Schneizel said as he turned to his sisters, "Cornelia, Marrybell, go ahead and head back to the Homeland. I will be making my way to Area 11."
"Schneizel, what are you going to do about Euphie?" Marrybell asked with worry.
"Please rests assure," Schneizel replied, "I will not let anything happen to Euphie. What we need to end this without much so bloodshed."
"And you think you can do that?" Cornelia asked with concern, "This is the Black Knights with Zero and Void at the helm and Euphie is one of them now."
"I will do what I can," Schneizel said, "I can only promise you both that I will keep Euphie's safety in mind and make sure she is unharmed."
"Can you really be sure about that Schneizel?" Cornelia asked.
Marrybell looked at Cornelia surprised at her sister's question.
"You still have doubts," Schneizel said.
"I'm sorry Brother," Cornelia said sadly, "it's just that with all that had happened…"
"I understand," Schneizel said, "but please trust me on this."
Cornelia looked worried and thought about Euphie and she also thought about what Lelouch and Nunnally had told her and Euphie about what they knew what happened about what had occurred and asked her to be cautious.
Tokyo, Japan
In the meeting room of the Viceroy Palace, Lelouch and Nunnally was having a meeting with the core members of the Black Knights with Jeremiah and Sayoko standing next to them
"Preparations are complete," Todoh said, "our forces are ready for whatever we will face."
"It's a good thing because our scouts have reported that military forces from the Britannian mainland will be arriving shortly," Rai reported, "it seems that they will be rendezvousing with the remaining military forces here including the ones from Shikine Island."
"Where are they rendezvousing?" Nunnally asked.
"From what we gathered," Naoto said, "they will be in Hokkaido."
"Oh yeah, there's that huge Britannian military base there," Alice said.
"It seems that they will be making their move from there," Rai said, "with that in mind, preparations from our allies are complete as well and they are ready to start."
"Excellent," Lelouch said, "so this is it. Everything is coming to together."
"So there are things for us to do when the fighting starts," Keitaro said, "one of the things is regarding Ashford Academy, your old school."
"Yes, there are two people there who were involved that sparked the disaster of the Special Zone so they will be in our custody and we will be using the school as a communication network," Lelouch said, "of course it won't be just there, there is another place."
"Yes, the HiTV Studio," Diethard said and was grinning with excitement, "and you want me to lead the charge to the studio."
"Yes," Nunnally said with a nod, "you know the place well and know where to set up for what we need there."
"We want you to take care of it," Lelouch said with a smile, "can you handle it Diethard?"
"Of course," Diethard said with a grin, "the fact that your placing your trust in me in this, well there's no way I can let you down. Besides, I'm just oh so ecstatic to meet with my old colleagues again."
Lelouch chuckled in amusement, "Oh I can just imagine the look of your old coworkers' faces."
"So the other thing is Euphie," Naoto said.
"Yes," Lelouch said with a nod, "Euphie has joined us and is now part of the Black Knights. We don't need to worry about Cornelia and Marrybell however what is concerning is the one leading the military forces from the mainland."
"Schneizel," Nunnally said.
"Yes, Schneizel el Britannia," Ohgi said, "the Second Britannian Prince as well as Britannia's Prime Minister. From what we understand, he is an excellent tactician and will be a formidable foe."
"I am curious," Kallen said, "Lelouch, Nunnally, what is your brother Schneizel like?"
"Well like Ohgi just said," Lelouch said, "excellent tactician and if I'm being honest, I've never beaten him in anything. When it came to chess, he was the one person I could not beat."
"It's really something since Schneizel was the one who taught you how to play chess," Nunnally said.
"That is true," Lelouch said feeling a bit nostalgic.
"Hmm, say Naoto," Rakshata said, "You've met Schneizel before, haven't you?"
"Yeah but that was years ago," Naoto said, "Back when I used go with my father these parties held by the nobles that he worked with in Britannia."
"Oh yeah, I remember how you always complained about it," Kallen said, "Guess it was just stuffy there."
"It always was," Naoto said, "trust me Kallen, you didn't miss out."
"Anyway with that in mind, we have a course," Lelouch said, "liberating Japan as we counter the military forces ready to put us down," Lelouch faced everyone in the room, "we have come this far to this stage and our objective is clear. All of you here, every one of you here and everyone else in the Black Knights have made it possible as well as all of our allies and our supporters. This operation is the spark that will cause a chain reaction against Britannia."
"Hell yeah, we're so close," Tamaki said with confidence.
"I'm so glad I'm around for this to happen," Keitaro said, "today, we liberate Japan."
"Yes and so with that in mind, I want you all to keep in mind of something when we start," Lelouch said.
"Hmm, what is it Lelouch?" Rai asked.
"All of us here," Lelouch said, "We are the hearts of Black Knights, therefore is why all of you here are the core members. The Black Knights is not only my organization, it's not only my and Nunnally's organization, it's our organization. This organization is not build around the two of us, it is all of us here. I want you all to keep that in mind especially if something happens."
The others in the room were concern in what was Lelouch was saying and how he was saying it.
"If something happens?" Kallen asked, "L-Lelouch, is something wrong?"
"Well it's just something that I wanted to bring up," Lelouch said, "the Black Knights… each of us here are the hearts that keeps this creature going."
Nunnally looked at her brother with a worried expression and was concerned. The doors opened and in came in Euphie, Orpheus, and Kirihara.
"Ah excellent you're here," Lelouch said.
"Lord Kirihara," Naoto said, "and Euphie as well.
"Hello," Euphie said happily, "Lelouch, Nunnally, everything is done on my part as well."
"We're all set and ready to go," Orpheus said, "Peace Mark is ready when you all are."
"Yes and thank you three for coming," Lelouch said.
"We're all set on our end as well," CC said as she arrived with Jinta.
"General Katase and the JLF are ready and willing to work with us," Jinta said.
"So General Katase is ready to join us," Todoh said.
"He says that he will leave it all to us," Jinta said, "well more specifically to you Lelouch."
"Understood," Lelouch said, "so with that in mind, there's something I want to discuss with you all here… in case something happens."
"In case something happens?" Alice asked.
"Lelouch, is something worrying you?" Todoh asked.
"Well…" Lelouch spoke.
Hokkaido, Japan
A small plane landed near the Britannian base and Britannian soldiers were waiting with Fayer standing in the front. Not long afterwards, Schneizel, Kanon, and a small entourage came by and met up with the soldiers with Fayer in front. The soldiers saluted the second prince in respect.
"Prince Schneizel, we're happy that you arrived," Fayer said.
"Thank you," Schneizel said.
"We're ready to move against the Black Knights," Fayer said.
"Yes," Schneizel said, "we will end this conflict and… we will bring Euphemia back safely."
"Your Highness, with all due respect, you do realize that Euphemia is a traitor now," Fayer pointed out.
"…Yes I am aware that is what she is considered," Schneizel said bitterly, "however I do not believe that myself. I believe this could be solved."
"What do you mean?" Fayer asked.
"The only reason that Euphemia is with the Black Knights is because of what happened in the Special Zone," Schneizel said, "the Special Zone was going to bring law and order and would have brought back stability in Area 11," Schneizel frowned, "unfortunately that was destroyed by the acts of selfish and narrow minded fools within our own ranks, the agents of Plutons and two of my own siblings."
"Your Highness…" Fayer spoke.
"We cannot allow the Black Knights to take control of Area 11," Schneizel said, "and I will do what needs to be done. Anyway, let us make our way to the Tokyo Settlement. This battle shall be decided for what happens in Area 11."
"We are ready and able under your command," Fayer said.
"Then let us move," Schneizel said, "now for the point of attacks…"
Not long after Schneizel gave instructions, he and his entourage headed back to the small plane and the forces began to move and were headed to where they were going to confront the Black Knights. In Schneizel's flagship, Schneizel and Kanon were heading to the bridge.
"Your Highness, I believe there's a possibility that we can get though communication with the G-1 Mobile Base," Kanon said.
"Hmm, do you think they may have commandeered it?" Schneizel asked.
"It's a possibility with Princess Euphemia there given what we were told by Princess Cornelia," Kanon said.
"Very well, then we'll give it a try," Schneizel said.
Schneizel and Kanon arrived in the bridge and Schneizel gave the order to see if they get through the channel to the G-1 Mobile Base.
Tokyo, Japan
In the G-1 Mobile Base, Lelouch and Nunnally arrived in the bridge where they were greeted by Diethard, Euphie, and Rakshata.
"Everything is in place," Diethard said excited, "and I'll be set to head to the HiTV Studio."
"Very good," Lelouch said, "the forces from Britannia's homeland are almost here and they are led by Schneizel."
"The fate for Japan will depend on this battle," Euphie said.
"Are you worried?" Nunnally asked.
"To be honest, a little," Euphie answered.
"Rest assures Euphie," Lelouch said, "all conditions are clear. No matter what, this country will have its freedom."
"Lelouch…" Euphie spoke with a smile.
The doors opened and CC, Kallen, Rai, Alice arrived with the Six Leaders of Kyoto.
"Oh good, you're all here," Lelouch said with a smile.
"Yes, we're all ready to see this through," Osakabe said.
"The hope that we all had for seven years will finally come through," Munakata said.
"And it starts with you all here," Kirihara said.
"Yes and with that in mind," Kaguya said happily.
Kaguya looked at Lelouch with glee and rushed over and hugged Lelouch snuggling up to him. Her actions surprised the others in the room.
"K-Kaguya," Lelouch said surprised.
"Oh I am so glad to have this chance," Kaguya said and then she looked up to Lelouch blushing, "You know Lelouch, I was thinking."
"Wh-What is it that you were thinking?" Lelouch asked as he was blushing.
"We need to do something after Japan gets its independence as a celebration," Kaguya said, "and you being the one who started it all… I say you and I should get married."
"Wait what?" Lelouch asked surprised.
Kaguya's proposal surprised the others in the bridge again.
"M-Marriage?" Euphie asked covering her mouth with her hands, "Oh my…"
"W-Wow," Alice spoke surprised, "talk about being so bold…"
"I was wondering when she was going to bring that up," Rai said as he shifted his eyes to the side, "I feel sorry for Shirley."
"L-Lady Kaguya, you… you can't be serious," Kallen spoke nervously and was shaking.
"Oh but I am serious," Kaguya said happily, "very serious. It's only natural that one of the two who is going to lead us to victory to have a wife."
"And you think you're the one fit for that role," Nunnally responded as her eye was twitching.
"Of course," Kaguya said as she let go of Lelouch, "oh but don't you worry, I am very open."
"Open to what?" Lelouch asked.
"I desire to be your wife Lelouch," Kaguya said, "but if you feel of what wanting to give in to your… manly desires, it's fine with me."
"Huh?" Lelouch replied surprised.
"Oh manly desires," CC said as she looked amused, "Lelouch, what have you been teaching this girl?"
"Nothing!" Lelouch said as he shocked
"Hmm, are you surprised?" Kaguya replied with glee.
"Kaguya, do you even understand what you're saying?" Yoshino asked.
"What?" Kaguya replied looking back at the other clan leaders, "It's not strange if you think about it and if you consider the tradition for Britannian men especially nobles and our culture back in the day as well."
"Wait, what desires?" Alice asked confused, "What is she talking Lelouch?"
"I… have no idea," Lelouch said shaking his head.
"I feel like you're lying for some reason," Alice said.
"Oh my," Diethard said amused, "well it would not be strange for you Lelouch."
"Diethard, please," Lelouch said.
"Yes don't encourage it," Kallen said.
"Encourage what?" Diethard replied feigning ignorance.
"Seriously what is it?" Alice asked being impatient.
"Don't worry about it Alice," Nunnally said, "Kaguya is joking," Nunnally pulled a weak laugh, "Kaguya is such a kidder."
"Oh no, I'm not joking," Kaguya said and then she caressed Lelouch's side with her finger blushing, "I'm very serious."
Euphie blinked her eyes and was surprised as she turned to her brother.
"Lelouch, I had no idea that you this close to Kaguya," Euphie said.
"Oh yes," Kaguya said happily turning to Euphie, "your brother is the man I decided to marry from that day he saved my life. Oh of course when we get married, you and Nunnally will become my sisters."
"Ah I see," Euphie said.
"Mmm," Nunnally responded shifting her eyes and glance at Kallen.
Nunnally looked at Kallen and saw that the red head had a downcast expression. Lelouch sighed and looked at Kaguya.
"Kaguya, about this…" Lelouch spoke.
"Yes my future husband?" Kaguya respond.
"I—" Lelouch spoke.
Lelouch was interrupted by a sudden beep. Everyone in the bridge looked and saw the controls and saw what was going on.
"An open channel," Nunnally said.
"Where is it coming from?" Lelouch asked.
"I'll look," Euphie said.
Euphie looked and was surprised in what she saw and turned to the others.
"Lelouch, Nunnally, it's coming from the flagship belonging to Schneizel," Euphie said.
"Schneizel el Britannia," Kirihara spoke,'
"It's just like Cornelia had said," Lelouch said.
"Lelouch," Nunnally said.
"Yeah," Lelouch said.
Schneizel's Flagship
In the bridge of the Schneizel's flagship, Schneizel sat in his throne with Kanon standing next to him. They waited and saw and heard that the connection was received and the static showed on the screen and then it was cleared and it showed Zero and Void.
"Greetings Schneizel el Britannia," Zero said.
"Zero, it's a pleasure to see you again," Schneizel said with a smile, "I believe when we first met was back on Kamine Island although we did not really meet up anyway. Greetings to you as well Void."
"Schneizel," Void spoke.
"Hello Schneizel," Euphie spoke as she appeared on the screen as well.
"Euphie," Schneizel said happily, "thank goodness, you're okay."
"Yes I'm fine," Euphie said, "sorry to worry you Schneizel."
"Please you don't need to apologize," Schneizel said with a sad expression, "if anything, I'm sorry for what happened and what you went through."
"We're just glad you're okay Your Highness," Kanon said.
"Thank you both," Euphie said.
"But I also see what was said true from what you're wearing," Schneizel said, "you really have joined the Black Knights."
"Yes I have," Euphie said, "I am now standing with Zero and Void as a new Black Knight."
Tokyo, Japan
In the bridge of the G-1 Mobile Base, Zero, Void, and Euphie were standing side by side to each other and then the Six Leaders of Kyoto walked and stood next to them.
"Oh and what do we have here," Schneizel said, "As I recall, you are the Six Clan Leaders of Kyoto. You were known as the NAC supposedly cooperating with the Britannian government in Area 11 but in actuality, you were supporting terrorist organizations in Area 11 and now it seems that you all have thrown full support to the Black Knights."
"We have pledged ourselves fully to the Black Knights," Kubouin said, "or to be more specific, we've pledged ourselves to Zero."
"Regardless it is a pleasure to actually come face to face with you Prince Schneizel el Britannia," Munakata said.
"Indeed," Schneizel said and then looked at Zero and Void, "Zero and Void, I do want to thank you for helping my sister as well as shedding the light on Pluton and what they have done… but even with all of that… I'm afraid I cannot condone and ignore what you are doing right now."
"Schneizel," Euphie spoke, "may we assume that you're leading the Britannian military forces from the Homeland to put a stop in what we're doing."
"Yes I am," Schneizel said sadly, "regardless of what happened and who was involved, I'm afraid that it would be uncalled for to allow you to take over Area 11."
"It's to be expected," Zero said, "but know this Schneizel, we will not back down."
"I expected this response," Schneizel said, "but I'm wondering if we can avoid this."
"What do you mean?" Void asked.
"Like I said, I am grateful for what did for Euphie," Schneizel said, "I care about her well-being. So with that in mind, I want to propose that you bring my sister to me and we stop this conflict before it even starts. I can make sure that things go smoothly for my sister. Sadly, we can't ignore what Euphie has done in joining the organization that has oppose Britannia in Area 11 and made multiple declarations of going against empire after Area 11 but I believe we come to the compromise for her and for you all in the Black Knights. Euphie, what do you say?"
Euphie looked at Schneizel and shook her head.
"I'm afraid I must refuse," Euphie said.
"Euphie," Schneizel said.
"What happened with the Special Zone and Pluton opened my eyes to further realization that there are people in position of power who are willing to kill people just to get what they want," Euphie said, "I'm sorry to say Schneizel but even with you smoothing things over for me, I do not feel safe going back to the Homeland. There is someone or multiple people who want me dead and they would not stop. Going back to the Homeland would be making it easier for those people to try to kill me."
"I can assure you that I will not allow that to happen," Schneizel said, "I promised that to Cornelia as well."
"But even so, I can't go back not only because there is no guarantee but also what our country does to other countries and what it stands for," Euphie said.
"Euphie," Schneizel said with a sad expression.
"I had already known how bad it was," Euphie added, "but my time here as well as the events further showed me just how horrible it is. I can't agree with what Britannia stands for. I have actually been against it for a long time. What happened to the innocent people who were killed in Shinjuku by Clovis's order, the people who were targeted by Cornelia in Saitama, one person who was going to be used as a sacrifice by military officers just to be back in good graces and it goes on. I believed that things would get better slowly and surely and the Special Zone was going to be one of the things but I was naïve. Things need to change."
"You actually believe by joining the Black Knights and stand against Britannia is the right solution?" Schneizel asked not liking what his sister was saying.
"I do," Euphie said with determination.
Schneizel sighed, "I take it that you have no intention of backing down."
"I don't, I will face whatever it comes along with Zero and Void," Euphie said, "I'm sorry Schneizel but I like I told Cornelia, this is the path that I chose."
Schneizel sighed heavily in Euphie's response.
"I see now," Schneizel said, "honestly I am disappointed that this is what you have chosen and I see that you all in the Black Knights have no intention of backing down."
"We will not back down," Zero said, "we will move forward and we will defeat Britannia and will start with you leading the military forces."
"Such a shame," Schneizel said, "I did not want this. I did not want this conflict to occur but now I have no choice," Schneizel looked at Zero and Void with a glare, "Be prepared Black Knights, as the Second Prince of Britannia and in the name of His Majesty the Emperor, we will crush this rebellion. Prepare for when this is over, Area 11 will never think or even try to rebel against Britannia again. As for you Euphie, since you made it clear that you will not back down, I am sad to say that when you lose, you will find that your punishment will be very harsh."
"I was prepared the moment I made my decision to join the Black Knights," Euphie said.
"You're still one of my precious siblings," Schneizel said, "nothing will ever change that and even though I'm upset that you have chosen this path, I can at least respect your determination to follow through. I still intend to bring you back with me alive and will have you face judgment but I will still be there for you to make things smoother for you."
"Schneizel," Euphie said with sad expression.
"Goodbye for now dear Euphie," Schneizel said.
The transmission was cut off and Euphie closed her eyes and placed her hand over her heart. Lelouch and Nunnally walked over to their sister as they took off their masks.
"Euphie," Nunnally said.
"It's okay, I was prepared for this," Euphie said as she opened her eyes and faced everyone in the bridge with determination, "we can do this. We can win this and give true independence to Japan."
"Yes, we can and we will," Lelouch said with a smile.
"Not to worry," Kaguya said, "this time, fates are on our side."
"Right," Euphie said with smile and nod.
"Then it's time to begin," Diethard said, "I'll lead the charge to HiTV Studio."
"We're counting on you Diethard," Lelouch said.
"You got it," Diethard said with a grin.
Diethard left the bridge and headed off where he needed to go.
"I'll stay here a bit," Euphie said, "we meet up to go to Ashford later on."
"Right," Nunnally said with nod.
Lelouch placed his hand on Euphie's shoulder and which caused the former third princess to look at her raven haired half-brother and nodded feeling reassured. Outside, Britannian forces from the Homeland arrived in Tokyo hovering over the airspace. VTOLs were flying and dropping off Knightmare Frames that landed in Tokyo and was there that the Knightmare Frames of the Black Knights were there to face and attacked. The fighting began as the forces of the Black Knights and the military forces led by Schneizel engaged against each other. The Four Holy Swords in their Gekkas were leading the charge against the Schneizel's forces. In the bridge of Schneizel's flagship, Schneizel and Kanon looked on.
"They are putting up quite a resistance for now," Kanon said.
"Yes for now," Schneizel said, "but we will push forward. We're going to end this rebellion led by Zero and Void and Euphemia will be brought in."
"Shall we move to the next phase?" Kanon asked.
"Yes," Schneizel said.
"Very good my lord," Kanon said with a nod.
Meanwhile in the hallway of the G-1 Mobile Base, Lelouch and Nunnally were walking together.
"Schneizel's forces have arrived and our forces are engaging them," Nunnally said.
"Then we need to move as well," Lelouch said, "we have a battle to win and we need to make sure we succeed because should we lose, our followers as well as the people of Japan will suffer for our failure and that is not an option to us."
"We won't let that happen," Nunnally said.
"Nunnally, I believe in you," Lelouch said.
"Brother…" Nunnally replied.
"I believe in all of you," Lelouch said, "I have full confidence in you all."
"Lelouch, I appreciate it and I want you to know that I believe in you as well," Nunnally said, "I'm sure that you will be able to find a way. You're the one who creates miracles. So please…"
Nunnally held on Lelouch's arm which surprised Lelouch himself as they both stopped as Lelouch looked at Nunnally.
"Nunnally…" Lelouch spoke.
"Don't be certain that a worst case scenario will occur to you," Nunnally said, "we will be there for you so you don't need to sacrifice yourself should something happen."
"Nunnally," Lelouch said.
"She's right," CC spoke.
The siblings looked and saw CC approaching them.
"Don't forget Lelouch," CC said, "you and I have a contract and I will do everything to make sure you make it through. You made a promise to me, remember?"
"I did," Lelouch said feeling guilty and had a sad expression.
"Look, I'm sure we all understand why have been saying such things and why you're feeling nervous but I won't let you die," CC said, "Not just for your own sake, not just for my sake, but for everyone who cares about you and you have a lot of people that care about you and want you to live."
"CC's right," Nunnally said.
"I know and I'm grateful to the people in my life," Lelouch said, "I just want everyone to able to move forward and not be held down."
"Lelouch…" Nunnally said.
"We know and we understand," CC said, "we will and you can bet on it."
Lelouch smiled liking what CC just said.
"Thank you CC," Lelouch said and then turned to Nunnally, "Nunnally, thank you as well."
"Dear Brother," Nunnally said and then smiled.
A phone suddenly rang and they were surprised and Lelouch realized that it was coming from his own phone in his pocket. Lelouch picked up his phone from his pocket and looked at the ID on his phone.
"Who is it?" Nunnally asked.
Lelouch narrowed his eyes looking at the name, "It's Suzaku."
"Suzaku?" Nunnally replied.
"Well now, so the loyal Britannian soldier calls," CC said, "what do you want to do Lelouch?"
"The only thing that is appropriate for me to do," Lelouch said, "answer the call," Lelouch pressed the button to answer and he also put it on speaker, "Hello Suzaku."
"Hi Lelouch, I'm glad I was finally able to reach you," Suzaku said on the other line, "It wasn't easy since I couldn't get through to you or Nunnally since you two went and disappeared on us. You and Nunnally just up and left. No word, no heads up. I was worried."
"Yeah sorry about that," Lelouch replied, "Circumstances demanded that we leave for the good of everyone around us, especially in the school."

In the hall, Suzaku was leaning against the wall and was on the phone with Lelouch.
"Yeah, it sucks to be left out of what you were doing," Suzaku said, "but I suppose it couldn't be helped considering the people that you and Nunnally have joined with."
"Oh?" Lelouch replied on the other line.
"Lelouch, you and Nunnally are part of the Black Knights, aren't you?" Suzaku asked even though he had already known about Lelouch and Nunnally.
G-1 Mobile Base
Lelouch paused before giving his answer, "Yes, we are."

Suzaku frowned and sighed, "As I thought. Well I know you're going to be annoyed but I'll still say it. Lelouch, you're making a huge mistake and it's going to cost you and Nunnally."
G-1 Mobile Base
"Typical you would say that but here's my response," Lelouch responded calmly, "However you feel about it means nothing to me. My sister and I chose this path ourselves."
"You mean you chose this path and forced Nunnally to go along with it," Suzaku replied back with a bit of a venomous tone on the other line.
Nunnally was shocked in what she heard Suzaku said and was upset to hear him say such things. She was tempted to take her brother's phone and set Suzaku straight but both CC and Lelouch signaled her to calm down and don't let what Suzaku had said get to her. Nunnally calmed down and nodded.
"So now you're resorting to false claims," Lelouch responded staying calm, "Do you actually think that I'm the kind of person that would force my will on my own precious sister?"

Suzaku was walking though the hallway.
"Before I wouldn't think that but now I can't be sure about you," Suzaku said, "I'm starting to think that you're a schemer and someone who uses and manipulates people for your own benefit."
G-1 Mobile Base
"Are you trying to provoke me with your idiotic false claims?" Lelouch asked as he Nunnally, and CC were walking thorough the hallway, "Because I got to tell you, it's not working."
"Fine, you don't care what I say and believe that I'm full of it even though I know it to be true," Suzaku said on the other line, "but you should care about this and that is the fact that I'm going to stop you. I'm going to help put an end this vile way you and the Black Knights are doing things. Not only that, I'm going to save Euphie."
"Save Euphie?" Lelouch replied confused, "What the hell are you talking about?"

"I finally know the truth now," Suzaku said, "I know that Euphie is not safe with the Black Knights. I will find her and bring her back safely, away from the Black Knights and most of all, away from Zero and Void."
G-1 Mobile Base
"I won't allow it," Lelouch replied calmly, "and besides, you're in no position to try to get to my sister Euphie. You Suzaku abandoned her. You turned your back on her when she needed you the most and now you have the audacity to say that you will rescue her. Give me a break. It amazes me the sheer arrogance coming from you and you still refuse to see and acknowledge to the ugliness and corruption that runs rampant to Britannia which is so bad that they have no qualms of killing an innocent person like Euphie."
"You're the one who's arrogant Lelouch," Suzaku countered, "you have no credibility in what you say. I know that Euphie is not safe being in the Black Knights and I will get her out of there. You're right though, it was idiotic of me to leave her. I never should have done that. I just didn't want to follow path that Euphie chose, path that will get her killed and tossed aside. I intend to correct the mistake I made."
"I'm not sure how or why you're getting this idea but no matter," Lelouch said, "Euphie is where she is… safe with the Black Knights and who are on her side unlike you and no one in the Black Knights will let anything happen to her and won't let anyone take her against her will, especially from you so I'll tell you this," Lelouch narrowed his eyes in a cold glare, "You're welcome to try but know that you will be met with strong opposition just like the rest of Britannian forces are facing right now."

Suzaku frowned and clenched his teeth but stayed calm.
"So be it," Suzaku said, "I will do what needs to be done for the sake of Euphie and for the sake of Japan. Even if I'm hated even more so, I will do what needs to be done. There is no future for Japan and for Euphie with the Black Knights at the helm and if I become a murderer in the process then so be it but I hope you remember that this could have been avoided and I hope you remember when this rebellion fails, it will be because of you with the choices you made and their futures, Nunnally, Euphie… even Rai, Kallen, and Alice… it will be because of Zero and Void."
G-1 Mobile Base
"We'll see about that," Lelouch said determined.
Lelouch looked at his phone and hung up.

Suzaku looked at his phone and frown and put his phone away in his pocket and continued on his way.
"Whatever happens is your fault Lelouch," Suzaku said, "You're the cause of everything going wrong."
Tokyo, Japan
Projectiles were fired from both sides as the forces of the Britannian military and the Black Knights raged on against each other. Knightmare Frames of the Britannian forces arrived and charged towards the forces of the Black Knights. It was such fierce intensity from both sides as they struck each other down in their fight for Japan. Todoh in his customized Gekka arrived and led the assault against the Britannian forces with the Four Holy Swords following him.
"We have to keep pushing through," Todoh said, "This is our chance. We cannot allow ourselves to fail. For Japan!"
"This is it," Urabe said, "This is what we have been waiting for seven years."
"This is will be different from the war," Senba said.
"It's time we took back our country," Asahina said.
"We can do this," Chiba said, "all of us can do this."
Suddenly several Knightmare Frames of the Britannian forces showed up and struck through the forces of the Black Knights and were rushing towards the Four Holy Swords. This caught them and Todoh by surprise but before they got close, there was a shot that was fired and tore through three Knightmares. Todoh and the Four Holy Swords looked and were relieved to see that it was the Raiko that had just arrived. In the Raiko, two members of the Japan Liberation Front nodded.
"We have you covered," One of the JLF members contacted, "Lieutenant Colonel Todoh and the Four Holy Swords."
"We will offer you support by orders of General Katase," The other JLF member said.
"Thank you," Todoh said.
"We really appreciate your support," Asahina said.
In the meeting room of the Viceroy Palace, Katase along with other members of the JLF were watching the battle on a huge monitor and Katase looked on watching his former subordinates lead the way in battle.
"Fight on Todoh," Katase said in his head, "I know you can do this… you and Zero."
Back in the streets, Knightmare forces led by Keitaro pushed forward against Schneizel's forces. Meanwhile the Lionel and the Lucan arrived on the scene and were met up with the Guren, the Fenrir, and the Vierge.
"Great, you're here," Rai said.
"What's the status?" Zero asked.
"Our forces are keeping the enemy at bay," Kallen reported, "but we're sure it's only a matter of time before they really push and hit us back."
"Understood," Void said, "Zero."
"Right, let us move," Zero said, "by the way we need to be careful."
"Careful?" Alice asked.
"Yes, a certain stubborn guy will be likely arriving to stop us," Void said.
"Of course," Kallen said as she was annoyed, "you're talking about Suzaku, right?"
"Yes but when he arrives, I want you all to leave him to me," Zero requested.
"Zero," Kallen said.
"I will put an end to his foolishness," Zero said determined, "he plans to take Euphie away from us and I won't allow it. No matter what, Euphie will not be murdered, not the same way as Mother."
"I agree," Void said, "Euphie is with us now and we can't let anything happen to her."
"Then we'll make sure of it," Rai said.
"Absolutely," Alice said, "we all really like her."
"It just a shame that Suzaku doesn't understand that she will be killed if he takes her back," Kallen said.
"And that's why we're here to prevent that from happen," Zero said.

In the Knightmare Hanger of the flagship, the doors opened and Suzaku arrived. He saw the Lancelot and was making his way.
"Going somewhere?" A familiar male voice asked.
Suzaku stopped and saw that it was Lloyd and Cecile was with him as they made their appearance.
"Lloyd," Suzaku said, "Miss Cecile."
Lloyd held up the key that activated the Lancelot with a smile.
"You're planning to head to the Tokyo Settlement and participate in the battle against the Black Knights," Lloyd deduced, "or are you planning to go and get the dear former princess Euphemia."
"…Both if I must," Suzaku answered, "although really I just want help Euphie."
"Suzaku, I understand how you feel I really do," Cecile said with a sad expression, "but you can't just go off on your own."
"She's right you know," Lloyd said with a smile, "considering that Prince Schneizel himself rejected your request to help Princess Euphemia. Our patron has also given the order for you Major Kururugi to not participate in this battle," Lloyd grinned, "Oh dear, you're not allowed to go. You would be violating orders if you do go without permission and you're not going to do that, right?"
Suzaku glared at Lloyd and moved towards him. Lloyd was moving around gleefully playing sort of keep away from Suzaku. However Suzaku was not amused nor was he in the mood for Lloyd's antics so Suzaku quickly grabbed Lloyd's wrist and took the Lancelot key in the process which surprised Lloyd and Suzaku followed up as he punched Lloyd in the face causing the bespectacled earl and Lancelot's creator to fall to the floor. Lloyd's glasses fell off his face damaged and Lloyd held the place of his face where Suzaku punched him. Cecile was shocked seeing what Suzaku had just done placing her hands over her mouth and Lloyd was shocked as well and then he slowly looked at Suzaku with an angry glare.
"S-Suzaku, you…" Lloyd growled.
"I'm not in the mood nor do I have the patience for your antics Lloyd," Suzaku said holding the Lancelot key, "Euphie is in Tokyo held by the Black Knights. I made the mistake of leaving her because she chose to join the Black Knights not knowing the danger she placed herself in. I will help her and I will put an end to Zero and Void. I won't let you stop me. I'm doing this."
"Suzaku, as much as Lloyd is being terrible with his silly antics," Cecile said.
"Hey," Lloyd spoke upset with what Cecile just said.
"This does not justify you in what you're doing now," Cecile said upset, "Lloyd just told you that you are not to participate in the battle and you are not to go after Euphemia by orders of Prince Schneizel himself. Do you realize what will happen if you ignore orders? This isn't like you. You're not one who just disobeys order."
"I know and normally I would follow orders because that what soldiers are supposed to do," Suzaku said, "but in this instance, I can't and I'm prepared to face the consequences but I still need to go and save Euphie. It's a life or death situation so I'm going."
Tokyo, Japan
The Lionel and the Lucan were floating in the air in the cockpit of the Lionel, Lelouch was looking he saw the flagship that belonged to Schneizel that was flying and making its way.
"Bring on Schneizel," Lelouch said, "we're ready and I'm ready to face and defeat you as well Suzaku."
Meanwhile in the bridge of the G-1 Mobile Base, Euphie along with the Six Clan Leaders of Kyoto were looking on seeing more forces led by Schneizel.
"It's time I did my part," Euphie said, "Time for me to head for Ashford Academy."
In the air
A black flagship was floating in the air. Inside Jervis was walking in the hall of the flagship and was smiling. He approached a door and opened and in the room, Bismarck and Nonette were sitting in long couches and they looked at Jarvis.
"Thanks for meeting with me," Jarvis said, "hope I didn't make you two wait long."
"It's no problem," Bismarck said, "we didn't wait long."
"So Jarvis, I take it that everything is ready," Nonette said.
"Yep thing are all done on my end," Jarvis said, "They will be ready to move out."
