The Black Rebellion Part Two
In the Chinese Federation, Xingke was in his office within the Vermillion Palace and standing behind him were Zhou Xianglin and Hong Gu. Xingke was looking out of the window of his office.
"It seems that the battle in Japan is happening," Xingke commented.
"With this, it will be the deciding factor what happens in Japan and how the Black Knights will be able to operate going forward," Xianglin said.
"If they can win this, not only will it help them it will help us as well," Hong Gu said.
"Yes but we have to be cautious of the High Eunuchs because we know that they would take advantage," Xingke said.
Meanwhile the High Eunuchs were sitting in a meeting room and were watching the news report of the battle that was happening in Japan between the Britannian forces and the Black Knights. They were grinning in glee and they were each thinking of how they can take advantage of the situation depending on who would win the battle for Japan that was also known as Area 11.
Sword of Akasha
On the platform of the weapon, Charles was watching the battle that was taking place in Japan and he had his thoughts as things were going as he predicted.
"Hmm, things are going just as I predicted so far," Charles said and then he frowned, "unfortunately, there seems to be a problem and that problem is my big brother. He's getting carried away with his own scheming," Charles sighed and shook his head, "I have no choice. I may have to confront him a lot sooner than I originally planned but he doesn't seem to realize that his actions as of late is actually detriment to what we desire and in ways giving advantage to Lelouch and Nunnally," Charles thought about his two sons, Schneizel and Lelouch and his two daughters, Euphemia and Nunnally, "Schneizel, Lelouch, Euphemia, Nunnally, how will you all do as a result?"
Pendragon, Holy Britannian Empire
In a lab somewhere within the capital of the empire, there was a girl with long green hair and wore glasses in a military uniform typing things down on a computer and it was Natalie Einstein. Natalie looked at the screen and narrowed her eyes.
"This might work," Natalie said.
The door opened suddenly and three Knights of the Round arrived and entered the lab and it was Carter, Jason, and Sarah.
"Natalie, are you in here?" Carter asked.
"Over here," Natalie replied as she turned to see the three Knights of the Rounds.
The three knights looked over and saw Natalie and met up and sat with her.
"I'm hearing that the battle over in Japan is intensifying there," Natalie said.
"Yes, our military forces are being led by Prince Schneizel but the Black Knights are not backing down," Sarah said.
"We'll have to see how things are going to play out," Jason said, "with that in mind, how are things with what you're doing Natalie?"
"Well…" Natalie spoke as she looked at her computer screen, "so far so good on my end. I think things will work well when I get done."
"That's good," Carter said, "we appreciate you doing this Natalie."
"It's not a problem," Natalie said, "I agree in what we're doing."
"So with that, let's discuss what we need to do next," Sarah said.
Japan
The battle continued on in Japan with the Black Knights taking on the Britannian forces led by Schneizel. Somewhere there was someone who was watching the battle in a safe distance and it was the one called The Wizard who was the financial backer of Peace Mark.
"There will be changes that will occurred by whoever wins this," The Wizard said, "should the Black Knights win, this country will have its freedom until Britannia reorganizes and tries again but if Britannia wins this, the occupation will be stricter and the people there will used as examples of what happens when conquered territories defy the empire," The Wizard had his head down, "either way, things are going to end for me."
The Wizard took off his mask and continued to look on at the battle. Meanwhile in the bridge of the G-1 Mobile Base, Euphie along with the Six Clan Leaders of Kyoto were looking on seeing more forces led by Schneizel.
"It's time I did my part," Euphie said, "Time for me to head for Ashford Academy."
The Six Clan Leaders wished her the best and assured her that she will not be alone. Euphie appreciated them in kind and went on her way. In the hall of the Mobile Base, Euphie was walking and thinking about how things were going to go in Ashford and she was met by several people. It was Rai, Alice, Kallen, Naoto, Ohgi, Yoshida, Inoue, Minami, Sugiyama, and Tamaki. They all had smiles looking at Euphie.
"Oh," Euphie said.
"You're ready," Rai said, "we're here to pick you up Your Highness."
"Rai, please don't make jokes like that," Euphie replied with a nervous smile.
"Sorry," Rai said smiling, "couldn't resist."
"Joking aside, we're ready when you are," Naoto said.
"Yep so what do you say," Sugiyama said, "you up to it?"
"Yes I am," Euphie said happily, "thank you all. But I wonder, Kallen, Rai, Alice, are you three going to be okay? We are going to your school."
"Don't worry, we'll be fine," Kallen assured, "we're just doing what we chose to do and we're willing to follow through… just like what you have done when you decided to join us even though there was hardship for you in the process."
"I see," Euphie said.
"Don't worry," Tamaki said with a grin, "we got your back. Besides, you're one of us now and we look out for each other."
"We all have your sister and brother to thank for that," Yoshida added.
"Right," Euphie said as she was happy, "thank you all of you. I'm so glad to have met you all. Okay, let's do this. I'm ready to do my part," Euphie looked at Naoto, "Naoto, ready to follow your lead."
"That's great to hear," Naoto said with a smile, "let's do this. Next stop: Ashford Academy."
Meanwhile in the air, Lelouch in his Lionel was giving directions to the Black Knights in different places taking on Schneizel's forces while Schneizel was doing the same thing in his flagship to take down the forces of the Black Knights. Outside, the Knightmare Frames of the Black Knights were roaming and fighting against the Knightmare Frames of Schneizel's forces. One of the Knightmare Frames, the Kagemaru piloted by Jinta was mowing down the Knightmare Frames of Schneizel's forces with its MVS Katana type. A red Knightmare piloted by Orpheus of Peace Mark arrived and struck down the Britannian Knightmares with its arsenal. In the cockpit, Orpheus looked around and nodded.
"Let's keep pushing forward," Orpheus said.
Orpheus was leading a group of Peace Mark members in Knightmares that were actually reconstructed GX 01 Knightmare Frames. Void in her Knightmare Frame, the Lucan was slicing and cutting down Knightmare Frames with its dual MVSs and moving with such speed. She met up with Zero in his Lionel and they continued to move forward taking down the Britannian forces that faced them. In the bridge of Schneizel's flagship, Schneizel looked on and narrowed his eyes as he was seeing how the battle was going.
"Very impressive," Schneizel commented.
"Prince Schneizel?" Kanon spoke looking at his prince.
"I can see how they were difficult for Cornelia and even Lady Enneagram," Schneizel said, "but regardless we will not lose this."
"Yes Your Highness," Kanon said as he turned to the front and raised his arm up, "Keep pushing forward, we're going to strike them down with everything we have."
"Whatever they strike, we will counter," Schneizel said.
Schneizel picked something up from his seat and it was white king chess piece and had the expression of determination of winning the battle and retrieving his half-sister Euphemia alive.
Ashford Academy
Nina was in the room where the Ganymede Knightmare Frame was kept and was doing some typing on her laptop that had wires connected to the Knightmare. Nina was determined to do what she was planning to do and was not going to let anyone or anything stop her.
"If I do this right, I can put an end to this," Nina said to herself, "I can put a stop to Zero, Void, and the Black Knights. With them gone, this conflict will end and Euphemia will see the error of her ways and come to her senses. Yes, that it, this will solve everything and I'll even prove to be better than Suzaku," Nina frowned when she mentioned him, "since he's an incompetent Eleven who can't seem to do anything right."
Schneizel's Flagship
In the bridge of the flagship, one of the crew members was picking up a signature and was surprised at what it was.
"Prince Schneizel, I'm picking up a signature that is heading to the Tokyo Settlement," One of the crew member said.
The others looked at that crew member who just spoke and were curious.
"Do you know what or who it is?" Schneizel replied.
"Yes sir, it's a Knightmare Frame and…" The crew member spoke, "it's the Lancelot."
The others in the bridge were surprised.
"The Lancelot?" Kanon spoke surprised, "But that would mean that…"
"So it seems that Suzaku has decided to ignore my order," Schneizel said with a frown, "patch me through the Lancelot right now."
"Of course Your Highness," Another crew member said.
In the sky
The Lancelot was flying and heading to Tokyo. In the cockpit of the Lancelot, Suzaku looking straight ahead as he was set to do what he felt that he needed to do.
"Hold on Euphie, I'll be there soon to save you," Suzaku said, "I just hope that you can forgive me."
There was a sudden beep and Suzaku looked seeing that someone was contacting him. Suzaku had a sad expression as he guessed who it was that contacting him. He let the transmission come through and his screen showed Schneizel who did not look pleased.
"Prince Schneizel," Suzaku said.
"Major Suzaku Kururugi, would you mind telling me where are you going?" Schneizel asked.
"I'm… heading to the Tokyo Settlement," Suzaku answered.
"And why are you doing that?" Schneizel asked losing a bit of his patience.
"I'm going to help Princess Euphemia," Suzaku replied, "and aid in defeating the Black Knights along with the way."
"Major Kururugi, you know I made it clear to you that you are not to do either of those things," Schneizel said, "I made it very clear that the you are not to participate in this battle and you are not to go get my sister Euphemia and yet here you are disregarding my orders," Schneizel glared at Suzaku, "this is clearly an act of insubordination."
"Your Highness…" Suzaku spoke.
"Turn around and head back to the Avalon right now," Schneizel demanded, "if you do it right now, I will ignore this and that will be the end of it."
Suzaku bit his lip and was nervous but he decided to push through.
"I'm sorry Your Highness but I can't," Suzaku replied.
"You can't?" Schneizel replied surprised and not liking the response, "Suzaku, do you realize what you're saying and what's going to happen if you insist on this? You're supposed to be a model soldier and yet here you are acting in your own desires."
"I'm sorry Your Highness for disobeying your orders but this is a life and death situation for Princess Euphemia," Suzaku said, "I have to go and help her as her knight."
"Her knight?" Schneizel replied sounded disgusted, "Did you forget that you resigned that position and left my sister alone and it's the second time that you quit being her knight and now you have the nerve to say that?"
"I realize how it is coming off from me," Suzaku responded, "I made a huge mistake and I want to correct it. Please Your Highness, I beg of you to please let me fix this."
"No, return to Avalon immediately," Schneizel pushed, "I'm not going to tell you again. If you insist on this, you will be punished for insubordination. This is the not the place for you just act out of your own desires. This is not a place for you to play hero. You're a soldier and soldiers are supposed to act in accordance to those who under their command. You don't get to decide which orders you follow and which you think you can just ignore."
Suzaku flinched and expressed a sad expression and he recalled what VV said to him.
Flashback: Knightmare Hanger of the Avalon
"You will certainly get flack for this," VV said, "and even if you succeed, you will most likely still get in trouble if you get rejected in participating in battle and/or helping Euphemia however… if you succeed, I'm sure that you will be greatly rewarded," VV grinned, "You could ask of what you desire and be able to be immune of any punishment if you get in trouble for not following orders exactly."
Flashback End
Suzaku thought about what VV meant and what he wanted and faced Schneizel with determination.
"I'm sorry Prince Schneizel," Suzaku said, "I know it's unacceptable for me to disobey but I feel that I need to do my part. Besides, don't you want to up the chance of winning this battle against the Black Knights? I know that I can help with the Lancelot."
"Kururugi, you don't get to decide on that," Schneizel said strongly, "your response just now just proved to me that you simply don't care and that you'll still do whatever you want. You really disappoint me Suzaku."
"Your Highness," Suzaku spoke in sad tone.
"So be it," Schneizel said, "then I will see to it that you are returned by force and then I will have you punished for your insubordination."
The transmission was cut off.
"It looks like I'll have to speed it up," Suzaku said, "I'm sorry Prince Schneizel."
Schneizel's Flagship
In the bridge, Schneizel frowned as he was disappointed how things went with Suzaku.
"It's quite bold of him to do this," Kanon said.'
"I have no use of soldiers who don't obey their orders," Schneizel said, "Although I just do not understand this."
"Hmm, what do you mean?" Kanon asked.
"I've heard a lot about Suzaku," Schneizel said, "from what I heard, despite being the son of Genbu Kururugi and even with him being an Honorary Britannian, he was a model soldier willing to do anything he told and make it a point to be the best example of being an Honorary Britannian soldier and yet here we have the opposite."
"May it have something to do with Princess Euphemia?" Kanon asked, "Or maybe it has something to do with Zero and Void, like what happened with Jeremiah."
"When I asked him when he made that request, he wouldn't really tell me anything," Schneizel said, "I would have gladly allowed him if he just tell me what he knew but he refused to do so that I gave the order for him to not get involved."
"I see," Kanon said, "you believe Kururugi knows more than what he's letting on."
"Yes and his refusal to actually tell me does not sit well with me," Schneizel said with a frown, "What does he know? What is he hiding? Those are the answers that I want to know but for now… Suzaku Kururugi has gone rouge. I want him captured."
"Understood," Kanon said with a nod.
Tokyo, Japan
In the HiTV Studio, reporters were reporting on the event that was happening with the conflict between the Black Knights and the Britannian military forces. There were sudden noises that were happening. The Black Knights suddenly arrived and entered the studio.
"Hey, what's going on?" The studio chief asked and then he was surprised to see someone familiar, "You…"
The person the chief saw was Diethard and was all smiles as he approached the chief.
"Hello Chief," Diethard greeted, "I know it's been a while so here I am as you can see well…"
"So you're part of the Black Knights Reid," The chief said with a frown, "you know to be honest, I'm not really shocked that you're with them."
"Oh really?" Diethard replied.
"I wondered if I was going to see you being part of this group and it seems that I was right," The chief said, "after all, you weren't subtle in your disdain with the authority and it was obvious that were more interested in Zero than even the emperor himself."
"I see," Diethard said, "so you were actually aware."
"I would have thought after you got demoted for the decision you made with what happened in Kawaguchi, you would at least straighten up but it seems that it did not discourage you in the slightest," The chief said.
"You're right, it didn't," Diethard said, "and now I have a great scoop for you Chief."
"A scoop?" The chief asked.
"That's right," Diethard said in glee, "the day that Japan gets liberated by the Black Knights. It will be the day that people of Japan take back not only their country but their lives."
"And we record every step of the way," A female voice said.'
The chief was surprised and he turned and it was one of the editors.
"Hey, what are you…?" The chief spoke.
"Diethard," The female editor said, "we're ready to set up as you requested."
Four more members of the studio showed up. Two were cameramen, one was a female producer, and the one was a male editor as well.
"We have everything we need," The male editor said.
"We're ready to take the shots," One of the cameramen said.
"Thank you I appreciate it," Diethard said, "and I have a message from Zero and Void, 'We want thank you five for all your help'."
"Sure no problem," The female producer said, "Tell them that it was our pleasure."
"Hold on," The chief spoke as he and the other members of the studio were shocked, "you're with them as well? You're with the Black Knights?"
"Sorry Chief," The second cameraman said as he and the other four started putting on their Black Knight jackets, "we've been with them from the start."
"Think about it," The female editor said, "why do you think you were unable to cut the video when Zero was speaking about what was really going on with the Special Zone?"
The chief was surprised and then he looked at Diethard who was still smiling.
"As you can see, I'm not the only," Diethard said, "and to be honest, I was just as surprised as well but they proved themselves."
"Unbelievable," The chief said as he slumped, "how the hell did I not see this?"
The five people turned to the rest of the Black Knights with smiles and thumbs up and the rest of the Black Knights in the studio nodded and smiled in response. Meanwhile at Ashford Academy, a group of the Black Knights had just arrived at Ashford Academy and they were met by the faculty members of the school who intended to protect the students and not let the Black Knights have their way.
"So you're here," One of the male teachers said, "the Black Knights."
"So now what?" One of the female teachers asked, "Are you here to take over the school and take the students hostage?"
"Hmph, quite insulting to make such assumptions," Yoshida said.
"That is not how we operate Miss MacLauchlan," Rai spoke.
The teachers were surprised and some of them recognize the voice.
Three Black Knights stepped up and faced them and it was Rai, Kallen, and Alice.
"You three…" The male PE teacher spoke surprised.
"Stadtfeld and Winston," The stern teacher said, "and even…"
"Miss Macleod," Mr. Olsen said surprised.
"Hi Mr. Olsen," Alice responded waving at her old teacher.
"Miss Macleod, are you okay?" Mr. Olsen asked, "They didn't hurt you, did they?" Mr. Olsen then turned to other Black Knights, "You, you better not be bullying or picking on her."
"It's fine, we're not doing that," Minami said.
"Chill out," Tamaki added, "we look after each other and Alice is one of us."
"So as you can see, I'm fine," Alice assured.
"…Okay, as long you're being treated well," Mr. Olsen said.
"Hey Olsen, are you not bothered that one of your students is part of the Black Knights?" Another male teacher asked annoyed.
"As long as they are not treating her terribly then I am fine with it," Mr. Olsen replied, "of course I am bothered by it but as long as one of my students… or maybe former students not that it matters is okay, I'm content."
"Thank you Mr. Olsen," Alice said happily.
"Just remember Alice, you will always be one of my students," Mr. Olsen said.
"You are unbelievable," The stern teacher said and then she turned to Rai and Kallen, "you two…"
"Mrs. Crane," Rai said.
"I have to say that I am not pleased that this is who you two are," Mrs. Crane said, "but if you're not here to take over the school and take the students as hostages," Mrs. Crane glared at her two former students, "then why are you here?"
"Perhaps I should explain," Euphie spoke, "if it's okay with you two."
"Oh sure, it's fine," Kallen said as she and the others turned.
The teachers were surprised to see Euphie as she walked and stood next to Kallen and Rai.
"P-Princess Euphemia," The male PE teacher spoke shocked.
"Oh no, I am no longer a princess," Euphie said, "I am now simply one of the Black Knights."
"In any case, are you okay?" A female teacher asked in concern, "What happened was horrible and the fact that you were accused of something that you did not do…"
"I'm fine," Euphie said and then had a sad expression, "well maybe not fine but I'm alive and motivated to do what I can. That is also why I am here."
"What do you mean?" Mrs. Crane asked.
"It's the main reason why we're here," Euphie said, "it has to do what happened at the Special Zone, to be specific, how it started and that was that explosion that not only killed the Japanese there but also the Britannians there as well."
"What are you getting at?" Mrs. Crane asked confused.
Euphie gave her serious expression, "There are two students that were involved in the Special Zone specifically those two students were the ones that caused the explosion."
This shocked the teachers and most of them couldn't believe what Euphemia had just said.
"D-Do you even have proof of this?" Mrs. Crane asked, "That is a serious accusation."
"They have proof," A familiar male voice said, "The proof they provided shows truth in Euphemia's words."
The teachers turned and were shocked to see that it was the principal himself Reuben Ashford and Milly and Shirley were with him.
"Principal?" Mr. Olsen spoke, "And wait…"
"You two…" Mrs. Crane spoke surprise.
"What Euphemia has said is unfortunately true," Reuben said, "two of our students actually aided Pluton in starting the disaster and that was when they caused that explosion that kicked the whole thing off."
In one of the classrooms, the students there were concerns as they looked out of the windows and saw a group of the Black Knights outside.
"The Black Knights are there," One of the male students said, "They really are outside and the teachers are facing them."
"I see the principal there," One of the female students, "but wait, why are Shirley and the president there as well?"
"Well we can just assume because of the principal," Another female student said, "after all Milly is the principal's granddaughter although I don't get why Shirley is there with them."
Meanwhile in the Student Council Room, Rivalz was sitting alone in the room and was unsure what was going to happen.
"Where is everyone?" Rivalz asked himself, "Shirley and the prez are nowhere to be found and Nina went and disappeared on me."
Rivalz suddenly heard footsteps and wondered what was going on and decided to see what was going on. Back in the classroom, the students were surprised as the Black Knights arrived in the classroom with Euphie, Naoto, Rai, Kallen, and Alice was in front as the students were surprised.
"The Black Knights," One of the female students said.
"Wait a minute," Sophie said, "Kallen, it's you."
"Hi Sophie," Kallen said with a wave.
"Rai, so you're with them as well," One of the male students said.
"Hi," Rai said.
"Hey it's Alice," Another female student said.
Other students from other classes and even students from the middle school section arrived and were seeing the Black Knights.
"All right may I have your attention," Naoto said as he stepped up, "As you just guessed right, we're the Black Knights. We know that most of you recognize three people here with us. Yes they are part of the Black Knights with important positions within our organization. First off, we want you know that you're not going to be our hostages, let's just get that out of the way," Naoto then turned to Euphie, "Euphie, go ahead."
"Thank you Naoto," Euphie said turning to Naoto with a nod and then faced the students, "Hello students of Ashford, as you all know I am Euphemia, the former Third Princess of the Holy Britannian Empire who also acted as the Sub-Viceroy of this country. The reason we have come here is the fact that two students here were involved in causing the disaster in the Special Zone which results of lives lost, not only Japanese but fellow Britannians as well."
"You're saying two of us were involved?" A male student asked as he and the other students were surprised.
"Yes and I see the two who were involved," Euphie said as she glared at a direction.
Euphie was glaring at two male students and it was Gene and Martin and who were shocked at what was going on.
"I never thought I would meet you two again like this," Euphie said, "last time was back in Shinjuku."
"N-No way," Gene said.
"Gene and Martin?" One of the female students spoke, "Wait, you can't mean…"
"Hold on!" Martin spoke loudly, "Are you actually accusing us being responsible for starting that conflict?"
"We know it was you two," Rai said, "you two were the ones that controlled truck by remote and detonated the truck which caused the lives of many people."
"You might as well give up and not bother pretending," Tamaki said, "we know it was you so you might as well come clean."
The other students were shocked in what they just heard.
"No way," A male student said shocked.
"Is that true?" Another male student asked surprised.
"Hey, is there truth in what they're saying?" A female student asked.
"Hey Gene, Martin, what the hell guys?" Another male student asked upset.
Martin and Gene were shocked but they both shook their heads in denial.
"Hey they're lying," Martin said as he turned to the other students, "they're just making things up."
"Yeah, yeah, they are!" Gene chimed, "It's obvious they're just saying that just because they have a grudge against us."
"We don't need to just stand here and take these false accusations," Martin said.
"It is no false accusation," Rai said, "so you two insist on playing dumb."
"Shut up Winston," Gene said angrily, "I always figured that you were an Eleven sympathizer and now you pull this crap."
"Eleven?" Minami spoke as he and the other Japanese were angry at that time.
"There you go at it again," Yoshida said angrily.
"You two…" Kallen said angrily
Kallen was about to go and teach them a lesson but she was stopped and Kallen was surprised to see who stopped her and it was Shirley.
"Shirley," Kallen said.'
"Kallen, you don't need to do anything," Shirley said, "they're not worth it."
"She's right," Milly said as she showed up, "they really aren't worth it."
"Shirley," Sophie said.
"Madam President," One of the male students said.
Euphie nodded and approached Gene and Martin.
"We have proof," Euphie said as she held up a disk and a stack log papers, "Do you know what these are?"
Gene and Martin looked and were wide eyed at them.
"Wait, these can't be…" Martin spoke.
"We got the logs from the flagship that was owned by Castor and Pollux rui Britannia who were also involved in the disaster of the Special Zone," Rai said, "and in the disk contains the plans and recording of the planning of causing the disaster in the Special Zone and with you being part of it."
"That disk?" Gene asked as he was shaking, "Hold on, does that mean…?"
"That one was surprising when we learned that the one who was got you was Colonel Paul Kinman," Rai said, "who is your dad."
Gene was wide eyed when Rai mentioned his father and the other students expect for Shirley and Milly were surprised again at the revelation.
In the sky
The black flagship was floating and inside Bismarck Waldstein, the Knight of One, Jarvis Trenton, the Knight of Two, and Nonette Enneagram, the Knight of Nine were walking through the hallway and headed to the Knightmare Hanger. When they arrived in the hanger, they looked at the three Knightmare Frames. One of them was the Morgause that Nonette piloted and the other two were black for Bismarck and red for Jarvis.
"We'll be heading in battle and deal with Zero and Void," Bismarck said, "with Prince Lelouch and Princess Nunnally."
"So this is it," Nonette said, "we beat them, capture them, and present them to the emperor."
"Exactly," Bismarck said, "Nonette, you handle Princess Nunnally while I handle Prince Lelouch."
"Understood Bismarck," Nonette said with a nod.
"Quite a task that you two are taking," Jarvis commented.
"And what about you Jarvis?" Nonette asked, "Did you really accept Prince Schneizel's request?"
"I did and it's regarding Kururugi," Jarvis said, "it seems that naïve and foolish Honorary Britannian has blatantly disobeyed Prince Schneizel's orders and now has gone rouge. Knowing that his own soldiers may not be able to even slow him down, Prince Schneizel asked if I was willing to help him deal with him and I accepted."
"Are you sure it's okay for you to do this?" Nonette asked, "I mean is His Majesty okay with you doing it?"
"I've been working with Prince Schneizel by His Majesty's request so it's not a problem," Jarvis explained, "the emperor is aware so unless he tells me otherwise there shouldn't be a problem."
"I see but still it's a damn shame," Nonette said with a frown, "a shame that Kururugi would do this."
"Well I bet there's a reason Suzaku Kururugi is acting out of character right now," Jarvis said and then he frowned, "and I'm willing to bet that it has to do with VV."
"Yes, there's no doubt he's has something to do with this," Bismarck said.
"We know that he's been getting carried away with his actions as of late," Jarvis said, "the big one was when he ordered Pluton to attack the Special Zone and frame Euphemia as well as going crazy in having the GX 01 Knightmares deployed all over Japan. His actions are actually harming what he and His Majesty plan to do."
"VV," Nonette said with a frown.
"What's sad is that Kururugi doesn't realize that VV is just playing with him," Jarvis said, "especially since he still plans on killing Euphemia."
"Do we know for sure?" Nonette asked.
"His Majesty does and he sees all," Bismarck said.
Nonette knew what Bismarck was implying.
"Oh I see," Nonette said, "I understand."
"Come we have no time to waste," Bismarck said.
"Yes," Nonette and Jarvis said in unison.
The three Knights of the Round and went to mount on their Knightmares.
Japan
The two opposing forces continued their fighting and striking blows. One of the Burais of the Black Knights fired a rocket launcher and it struck several Knightmare Frames of the Britannian military.
"Okay, let's keep pushing forward," One of the Black Knights said.
They suddenly got a signature that was heading toward them with speed.
"Wait, what is that?" Another Black Knight said.
As the signature got closer, they realize what it was.
"Oh crap, it's him!" Another Black Knight yelled.
The Black Knight that yelled was suddenly struck as the Knightmare was cut up and caused an explosion killing the Black Knight that was piloting it. In front of the explosion was the Lancelot with its dual MVSs in both hands.
"No, Ueda!" One of the Black Knights yelled.
"Damn you Suzaku Kururugi!" Another Black Knight said in anger.
The Lancelot stood facing the Knightmare Frames of the Black Knights and in the cockpit, Suzaku looked on with a cold stare. Outside, the Lancelot pointed one of its MVS at the Black Knights' Knightmares.
"I would normally ask you to surrender so that we can end this peacefully," Suzaku said, "but I know that none of you would be willing to do that, correct?"
"You damn right we won't," Another Black Knight said, "you're just another enemy standing in the way for Japan to have its independence."
"You are Japan's traitor of the worst kind," Another Black Knight said.
"As I thought," Suzaku said, "you are all so hopeless and foolish so there's no point in reasoning with any of you."
"You're the one who is hopeless and foolish," Another Black Knight rebuked, "hell you turned your back on Euphemia. You have no loyalty to anyone just yourself."
"Yeah some knight you are," Another Black Knight said.
Suzaku got angry when Euphie was mention and was boiling in rage.
"You don't understand anything," Suzaku said angrily, "none of you get to judge me!"
Suzaku charged the Lancelot and struck all the Knightmare Frames that went against him killing the pilots inside.
"Damn you Kururugi!" The last remaining Black Knight said as he tried to rush and get revenge against Suzaku, "You god damn traitor!"
Suzaku countered and stabbed the Knightmare and sliced it upward and the unfortunate Black Knight screamed in agony as the Knightmare exploded killing the person inside. The Lancelot saw the Burai with the rocket launcher that shot a round at the Lancelot. However the Lancelot dodged the rocket as it flew in the air and descended on the rocket launcher carrying Burai and struck the Burai down destroying it and killing the pilot. Suzaku looked on and he was upset as he clenched his teeth.
"So now I have blood on my hands again," Suzaku said upset, "I thought killing my own father would be the only time that I would have blood on my hands but now I've killed several of my own people and all because of—"
"Kururugi!" Todoh's voice yelled.
Suzaku turned and saw the five Gekkas piloted by Todoh and the Four Holy Swords.
"Todoh-sensei," Suzaku said.
"So you've come Suzaku," Todoh said.
"You would be wise to stay out of my way," Suzaku said, "I don't want to kill you but I will if I must."
"You seem awfully sure of yourself young Kururugi," Senba said.
"You just killed several of our troops and you say you don't want to kill us," Urabe said, "talk about being unreasonable."
"Sir, let us handle this," Chiba suggested.
"We know we can take him down," Asahina said.
"I'm afraid I'm going to reject your request," Todoh said.
"But sir," Chiba said, "I know we can—"
The Lancelot suddenly charged towards the customized Gekka and Todoh quickly saw and was able to block Suzaku's attack. This surprised the Four Holy Swords as Todoh was keeping Suzaku at bay.
"Suzaku," Todoh said angrily.
"I don't want to do this," Suzaku said upset, "don't force me to Sensei!"
"I'm not going to force you to do anything," Todoh replied, "what you do is by own choice."
The customized Gekka pushed back the Lancelot and the white Knightmare stood in poise.
"I will take Euphemia back and end this," Suzaku declared.
"Euphemia you say," Todoh said, "that's very interesting considering that you left her in the first place."
"I don't need to explain myself to you," Suzaku replied back, "although you all are unaware about what is really going and… who Zero and Void are truly are."
"Oh?" Todoh replied.
"Lieutenant Colonel Todoh," Asahina said.
"Hmm, we need to step back," Todoh said, "all five of us."
"Sir," Urabe said.
"Do you think that I'm just going to let you go?" Suzaku asked.
"No but there is someone who is set in fighting you," Todoh replied, "this person made it very clear that he would be the one to take you on."
"Oh really?" Suzaku replied back, "And who would that be?"
"That would be me!" Zero's voice boomed.
Suzaku was surprised and suddenly something landed forcing Suzaku to pilot the Lancelot to dodge. Suzaku looked and saw the Lionel with its MVS Claiomh Solais in hand.
"Zero," Suzaku said.
"Todoh, are you alright?" Zero asked.
"I'm fine Zero," Todoh said.
"Leader," Urabe said.
"Head down to the south," Zero said, "our forces there could use your help."
"Understood," Todoh said.
"Be careful Zero," Chiba said.
"I will," Zero said, "the same goes for you all."
"You got this Zero," Asahina said.
The five Gekkas turned and went on their way. The Lionel and the Lancelot faced each other.
"Zero," Suzaku said.
"Kururugi, just as expected, you have arrived," Zero said.
"Zero, I will end this and put you down," Suzaku declared, "and I will take Euphemia back from you."
"You're welcome to try and you will fail," Zero said, "so let's go ahead and have our rematch from Narita."
"I won't allow you to have your way Zero," Suzaku declared, "…or maybe I should… Lelouch."
Zero was a bit surprised, "Oh, so you figured it out," Zero was amused a bit, "I figured that was the case when we talked on the phone with the way you were wording things and the tone you gave."
The cockpit of the Lionel opened up and Zero stood up and Zero took off his mask and showed his face to Suzaku. Suzaku in response opened up his cockpit and faced the unmasked Zero.
"Lelouch, it really is you," Suzaku said with a glare, "It really was you all along."
Lelouch looked at Suzaku and he glared at him.
"Suzaku, you will not get your way," Lelouch said, "I will personally make sure of that."
"Damn you Lelouch," Suzaku said with anger.
Lelouch and Suzaku faced each other. Meanwhile VV was making his way to a certain place and he looked at the place where he was heading to and it was Ashford Academy. VV had sadistic intentions as he headed to the school.
"This time," VV said, "this time for sure."
In one of the classrooms of the Ashford Academy, Euphie was facing Gene and Martin and confronting them about their involvement with the disaster of the Special Zone.
