"Leizcio hurry up! We can't be late for your sister's graduation!" Leizcio's mom yelled from downstairs in their home.
"Hold on mom! Just one second!" A younger Leizcio exclaimed as he tried to button up his shirt as fast as he could. Today was the day that Lavania had finally finished her business studies at UA. Usually, she'd come home and be in her room most of the day. It was an academic hell crunching all those numbers for finance practice and understanding marketing. Whenever she came out of her room, she always looked extremely tired. But at long last, she's done with school and Leizcio gets to see her graduate from UA, that extremely prestigious school everyone talks about entering.
"Okay, I'm ready mom!"
"Good! Now let's go!"
In reality, they weren't really late. They actually went 30 minutes early. It was a thing that Leizcio's mom would always do before heading to an event. While it may have been annoying for Leizcio, it sure as hell beat the traffic. After reaching UA, they went through the security check and went to go find their seats in the field in front of the podium. They waited for quite a while, but of course, Leizcio's mom was prepared for the wait. Reaching into her bag, she pulled out two granola bars.
"Eat this before it starts Leilei, you're gonna be hungry if you don't." She told her son. Leizcio grabbed one, and it was his favorite of course. A peanut butter flavored granola bar, light but tasty snack.
As more people had entered and sat down, the ceremony would begin. However, both Leizcio and his mother didn't care much for that. They only came to see Lavania finally graduate. They of course were respectful of the others, as they know that they worked hard to make it through graduation as well. It was quite the wait considering how many people attended UA, even for its business course.
When it had finally been her turn to receive her diploma, you can bet that Leizcio and his mom were the loudest they've been. Tears of happiness flowed down their faces, their shouts were filled with pride and joy, knowing that Lavania was a step closer to achieving her dreams.
The rest of the students would walk down receiving their diplomas. When all the students received their diplomas, there was a speech at the end. Everyone got up after the speech, and Leizcio and his mom went to look for Lavania amidst the chaos that is graduation. When they finally found her, they all shared a hug that felt like it would break your spine. A strong hug, but only because it's a way to express how happy they were to see this happen. When Lavania gave her friends goodbyes, the three went into their car and headed back home.
After an emotional and tiring day, they didn't want to do much, but they had one small thing planned. Lavania's favorite cake, carrot cake was hidden in their fridge. Leizcio quickly went to grab it and surprised Lavania with it. Their mom went to grab the essentials and began to part the cake. It was good, but sharing a special occasion with family only made the taste of it sweeter. Glasses of milk on hand, the three cheer for Lavania's achievement.

"What?" Leizcio said groggily, waking up to a random noise he heard. He checks his phone and turns out that it was Tamashi texting him that they're back on schedule again.
Leizcio turns off his phone and is about to get out of the bed, but yet he can't will himself to do so. He can't blame Tamashi for waking him up, he was actually starting to fade out of his dream. But he just can't get up out of bed, his feet are dangling off of it, but he can't take a step forward.
He lays back down, looking to the ceiling. He reminisces of the memory he dreamed of. It was one of the last events he got to spend with his mom while she was alive. As he starts to rewind the memory in his mind, his sight becomes blurry, and he feels warm tears beginning to form. Remembering how she was always so proud of him and Lavania is what pushed Leizcio further. But it hurt how she's no longer here to see them do great things.
The tears begin to flow down his face.
His quirk might make his body warm painfully, but these tears hurt him more than his quirk ever could.
He grasped his blanket, quietly sobbing, digging more into his memories.
He holds onto these memories, but it's a painful reminder that he has to let go sometimes.
And take it in.
That nobody is here forever.
...
When Leizcio calmed down, he went and started getting ready for school, even though he wouldn't have to go for an hour. He just needed to distract himself with something at this point. He took a glance at his textbooks and used them as an excuse to finish the rest of his homework for the week right then and there.
When he had finally finished it, he went to take a cold shower, and changed into his school uniform, and went to go start his day. While his routine hasn't changed much, he's still glad that he's getting to know Uraraka more. If he's being honest with himself, he doesn't really go out of his own way to make friends, so it's nice that he got to meet someone like her. Nevertheless, school continued for him as usual. When the day had ended, Leizcio had taken a different route since Tamashi asked him to go somewhere immediately after school.
When Leizcio had arrived at the destination, he noticed that it was a rundown storage facility. Before he could take a step further, the door began to lift up, startling Leizcio a bit. And unsurprisingly, there stood Tamashi with a beaming smile.
"Hey, Leizcio! You ready for today's training?!" She said enthusiastically while she started to set up some kind of machine.
"Yeah, for the most part, still kind of tired from my run-in with those villains."
"Of course! That's why I planned out some light training today!"
"What kind of training exactly?"
"Easy! We're going to be training the electric part of your quirk!" She said as she stepped away from the strange contraption.
"Now this right here is going to measure out the voltage you output with those special punches of yours! Now go charge up your fist! I'll be taking notes!"
Taking a second to loosen up, Leizcio focuses his energy into his right fist. It crackled and small jolts were flying off of it. He jabs at the machine's target, and took a step back, waiting for what the results would be. The machine made a small beep noise and displayed 75 on a screen on its side.
"Great! Seems like that attack of yours can output about 75,000 volts in an instant! It's a bit more than a taser so makes sense why that tends to leave the villains knocked out!" Tamashi said, scribbling away at her notes.
Leizcio took a quick look at his fist, he didn't understand too much of his own quirk. And he only has around 2 months to develop it for the entrance exam for UA. Cutting off his train of thought, Tamashi asked him,
"Have you tried focusing it into both fists at the same time?"
"No not really, but wouldn't hurt to try right?"
"That's the spirit!"
Leizcio took a deep breath and tried to direct the energy in his body to both his fists simultaneously. He struggled, as one would have a much higher concentration than the other. However, in a few minutes, he managed to more or less balance it out. While it doesn't spark out of his hands, the energy stayed in place, with traces of lightning dancing on his fists. Before he loses focus, he punches the machine's target again and waits for the results.
-Beep-
175 was displayed on the screen, calculating that Leizcio's concentration allowed for stronger voltage output.
"Wait how does that work?" Leizcio asked, a bit confused as to how that happened.
"Easy! Using one fist, your energy was leaking, so you lost a bit of voltage! But with the two fists being concentrated, it allowed for the output to be stronger as almost no energy was leaking!"
Leizcio understood that, taking a mental note on it. When Tamashi mentioned that he was going to be running as his exercise, he stretched and was ready for Tamashi's next orders.
"Okay Leizcio, do you remember how you were able to run on that wall to beat that whip guy?"
"More or less, but that was mostly because I got lucky!"
"Not necessarily, you were just running fast enough to do so, so I want you to run on the walls in here for as long as you can! It'll help build up your speed and get used to running on walls!"
Leizcio groaned, knowing that this would probably result in him falling off. But he knows that what Tamashi said is true so he regretfully gets into a running stance and prepares to attempt to run on the walls inside.
He runs right up to the wall before he puts his feet onto the wall at the same pace. And miraculously it worked! For a little bit... Wasn't too long after that he had fallen off. He kept getting up and trying to increase the time at which he could. Tamashi was just watching from a desk and was taking notes on how else to use his quirk on the field.
After a bunch of bruises and scrapes, Leizcio was finally able to run a few laps on the wall before exhaustion from running so much. When he jumps off the wall, he stumbles a bit and slowly sits down to catch a breather.
Tamashi walks towards him and offers him what seems to be an energy bar.
"Good job Leizcio! That was pretty good considering it was your first day! Now try this bar! I asked some friends if they could make a high-calorie bar and they wanted me to give you this to see if it works!" Tamashi said with a smile.
Leizcio grabs the bar and slowly takes off the wrapper. Taking a bite into it, he can taste some peanut butter which is also good. But the most important and weird part was that it felt filling when he finished it.
"Well, how do you like it? Do you feel a bit more full?" She asked with her notepad at the ready.
"Yeah, it actually tastes pretty neat! And I do feel full compared to a normal meal."
"Good! I'll let my friends know!"
Leizcio wanted to ask how she knows friends who could make such things, but that would probably end up in a long story of how it happened.
Taking a look at his phone, he notices that his shift is about to start at the cafe. He quickly thanks Tamashi for the training and runs off to the cafe. While Lavania was okay with the vigilante stuff, she still needed Leizcio to work at the cafe.
Leizcio enters the cafe shortly and greets Lavania before showering and changing into his work clothes. Usually, the shifts later in the day aren't too busy on workdays. But that didn't mean it'd get piled up. Once closing time had arrived, both Lavania and Leizcio went to work on cleaning up the place and having it set for tomorrow. The day would continue as usual where both would work on what they needed to and head to sleep.
While Leizcio might've had a rude awakening, he can't let it backtrack his progress. If anything, he'll do his mom proud by getting a legit hero license. Leizcio just shivers at the thought of punishment for being a vigilante at his age. Nevertheless, he went to his room and went to sleep early since he finished his work early. Never hurts to get in extra sleep.
However, some were awake, scheming villainous plans.
" , we managed to get intel on pro-hero patrols around the area. We have managed to recruit some grunts to attack the places where they'll most likely be. We just need more to be able to distract any pro-heroes from the central bank as your crew works it."
"Sounds great, things are coming together! We'll make a great profit without any evidence on us! We just need some time to get more grunts. So get to work on that!"
"Of course ."
"In precisely 45 days, we should be able to execute this plan." Osore thought to himself as he looked at the schematics for the central bank.
