"Leizcio! There's a fire down at the market! Ready to put that new trick to work?" Tamashi asks through the earpiece Leizcio has.

"Of course!"

It's been a month since Leizcio went back into training. With the help of Tamashi, he's been able to train his quirk and mind. He's become more adept at his control with his energy, reducing the time it takes for him to direct it to the desired place. And with time as a vigilante, he's increased his ability to react quickly and make logical decisions quickly. There have also been some tricks he's been trying to get a grasp of, but are difficult, to say the least.

As Leizcio approaches the market, he evacuates whatever remaining people are inside and rushes back into the building. He takes a quick moment to remember the simulations that Tamashi put him through to master it. Just gotta move his arms fast enough.

As he starts to move his arms in a circular motion, a wind funnel begins to form around them. As he continues to move them, the fires slowly start to dissipate. The air that was feeding these fires slowly got sucked away. With the fires gone, he leaves the scene to an alleyway to catch his breath. He taps on his earpiece and talks to Tamashi about the situation.

"Tamashi! I actually managed to do it! Got everyone out and put out the fire!"

"Knew you could do it! Now it's getting late, time to call it a day!"

"Okay thank you Tamashi! Talk to you tomorrow!"

Leizcio runs to a secluded area near the cafe to change out of his vigilante clothes, and starts to head home, and ready to relax for the rest of the day. Some days were just a lot more tiring than the others. Today was one of those days, but at least he was able to get rid of the fire. He also has been studying more as the UA exam is approaching, and there's definitely going to be at least a written test. At least that's what Lavania said. While the practical test is a huge factor, he can't ignore his academics.

As Leizcio entered the building, he saw pech run down the stairs to greet him. He starts bumping his head into Leizcio's leg, almost as if he was asking him where he was. Leizcio squats down and pets pech for a good while. He eventually heads back up with pech in company and sits down on the couch. He takes a few minutes, looking back at the past three months. Gaining a quirk has been a strange experience. Going from a quirkless teenager to one that can now go at superspeed. Yeah, kind of weird that he got used to that more or less. At least he can choose to up his speed perception whenever, and not stuck seeing things slowly forever. Either way, being a vigilante has been a strange but good experience. Sure he's had to deal with some weird situations, but he was able to act like a hero. Just illegally of course, but hey, that's what he's going to UA for right? Still feels weird that there's only a month left until the day of the entrance exam. He only hopes that he'll pass and get into the hero course.

"Hey Lei, how'd patrol go today?" Lavania asked entering the living room with two plates of chicken katsu curry, putting one on Leizcio's table.

"Pretty good, managed to put out my first fire today! But today felt more tiring than usual, maybe it's because of that. But I'll be good with a night of sleep." Leizcio said as he began to put something to watch on the tv.

They both were eating away at their curry, with pech just sitting there accompanying them. Luckily Leizcio doesn't have school to worry about for the time being. Just studying for the upcoming exam. Wait that reminds him,

"Have you thought of what your hero costume would look like?" Lavania asked, practically like she knew he was going to bring it up.

"I think I do more or less. I think I'll base it on the prototype I've been wearing. Probably have some armor on the chest, thighs, knees, and probably on my shoulders and wrists. Nothing too crazy that it'd slow me down though. And probably have the battery attached to the front instead of the back. I think I'm gonna ask for the same undersuit more or less, and have the armor made in a lavender color. Oh and a visor that could like track my speed and voltage!"

"Interesting, I like the color scheme though, black and lavender are a good combination. Just make sure you get that sketch done okay?"

"Yeah of course."

After they finished eating they went to their respective room for the night. Leizcio would begin to sketch out his hero suit. Quite frankly this got him a bit hyped up, just getting happy over the thought of being able to wear one and not have to hide his identity.

After spending about an hour working on the details of the suit and how it'd look, he turns the lights off in his room and heads to sleep for some much-needed rest.

Training and studying have been what he had done for the next two weeks. A rather tiresome routine to others, but to Leizcio, this is what he needed to do if he was going to use his quirk correctly as a hero. He hasn't been able to learn any new tricks but was able to nail down the technique of his wind funnels as well as wall running so that should be something. However, his speed has hit a plateau, he hasn't been able to increase it all that much, but Tamashi reassured him that he could go more than fast enough than needed. At least he's been able to control his voltage and slowly amplify it.

However, he didn't know that all of this was going to be put to the test. For the day that Osore's plan had arrived, and not a single soul knew what was going to go down today.

"Hey Leizcio, I think that we're done with your vigilantism now. You did great, but it's better that you take the next two weeks to relax and prepare for the exam. I know you're going to do great!" Tamashi said as she was handing her notes to Leizcio for his quirk and abilities.

"That is fair I guess, feels kinda crazy that a lot has happened these past months. But I'm glad it happened. Also, where did you end up getting the undersuit for the prototype?"

A silence fills the room, Tamashi sweats a little bit and chuckles nervously, and Leizcio is slowly getting concerned.

"Tamashi?"

"Don't EVER tell your sister, but we actually stole it from Mashito's agency. We know that he keeps a lot of backups so I asked someone I knew with a stealth quirk to go and get it for me."

Leizcio starts laughing, knowing how crazy and stupid of a plan that was, but glad that he got to take a shot at Mashito by "stealing" something of his. After calming down, he asks Tamashi another question.

"Is it okay if I keep the prototype? It's got a black and red color scheme which is different to what I have in mind for my hero costume."

"Yeah of course! I was planning on that since I know that most hero students don't get their license until their second year! So keep the goggles as well!"

"Okay thank you Tamashi! I'll be sure to update you on how the exam goes!" Leizcio said as he exited Tamashi's home. He begins walking back home, letting the cool breeze of the afternoon pass by him. This vigilante act has been one helluva ride, and he'll kind of miss it, but he knows that he'll continue it when he gets into UA. He has no doubts in his mind that he'll be able to get in.

Walking into the cafe, he sees that it's a bit busy, people waiting in line to order a pastry and the smell of coffee fills the air. A nice scent that always welcomes him back home. Heading up the stairs, he goes into his room and sets down the bag which holds his prototype suit with his goggles. A small smile escapes his face, knowing that he's been able to improve himself and do what he does best now, run.

After taking a bit of time to relax and listen to his favorite music, Leizcio goes into the kitchen to see what he should eat for a snack. Opening it, there doesn't seem to be anything good. He closes it and walks away. And then he returns to the fridge, opening it again as if anything better would appear out of nowhere. Disappointed, Leizcio helps Lavania to close up and set everything. However, something felt strange tonight, Leizcio couldn't quite put his finger on it. But his gut is telling him that something isn't right. Nevertheless, he walks up the stairs into the living room to relax with Lavania and Pech. They sit and watch their favorite cooking show while eating some instant ramen since both didn't feel like cooking. However, Pech makes a hissing noise and starts running downstairs. Leizcio and Lavania shortly follow, wondering why Pech is acting weird out of the blue.

Out of nowhere, the sound of glass breaking comes from downstairs. Leizcio rushes down using his quirk and sees someone dressed in all black and with a mask.

"Hey, kid! Give me the money in those cash registers over there!" The thief demanded, holding his hand on the gun in his holster.

Lavania was behind Leizcio knowing that he's going to fold this man like some clean laundry.

And that he did. Leizcio did not hesitate and just smashed that thief's face in. Too bad that guy chose the wrong cafe to rob.

Looking over the man, Leizcio unmasked him and noticed that there was an earpiece in his ear. Taking it out, he puts close to his ear, and he's able to hear someone giving out orders. Sounds like this guy wasn't the only one robbing other places. Putting it down, Leizcio searches the man and finds a phone on him. Leizcio grabs the man's thumb and opens the phone with it. He looked for any evidence as to where he could find out what's happening. Turns out that he found a message sent from an anonymous number. Turns out that the person behind this planned out an extreme heist, with thieves and villains attacking numerous areas where pro heroes would focus their attention on them. All meanwhile he'd rob the central bank with no heroes available to turn their attention to him. Leizcio was amazed that someone would pull something like this by using random people. He showed the message to Lavania, and she grabbed a metal baseball hidden underneath the counter, saying that she'll be okay on her own.

Without a second to spare, Leizcio quickly changes into his prototype suit and goggles. He activates his quirk and runs out the door on his way over to the bank as fast as he could, but he saw multiple people under threat from villains and some pro-heroes haven't arrived yet.

He'll catch up to the main guy, he needs to save the people in his reach.

Stopping at a bar, he sees a villain who has their limbs on fire, and a syringe lying on the floor that most likely had Trigger. The villain spots Leizcio and immediately starts shooting fireballs at him. Being stupid and hoping his dumb idea of his works, Leizcio creates a wind funnel with his arms in hopes that it'd get rid of the air creating the fire.

And it worked, the fireballs were reduced to smalls wisps of fire. Leizcio doesn't waste any time aiming the funnel at the villain themselves, getting rid of the fire from their limbs. Powerless against it, they're pushed back and left without any ignition to set fire. Leizcio blitzes him, knocking him unconscious, and ties him up with some rope he had on hand. Realizing that the guy could probably burn through the rope, Leizcio races to grab a random piece of metal and gives it to the owner of the club who just witnessed the fight.

"Stay here and make sure that he stays down. Any movements just hit him over the head with that."

Before the owner could even mutter a word, Leizcio dashed off into the distance. Every time he'd advance a block or two, there was a villain or two attacking. This guy really planned this out, there wouldn't even be enough pro-heroes active right now to deal with multiple small attacks like these. But Leizcio would have to do for now. With each fight, he'd start to lose a bit of energy. While he was able to defeat the villains that crossed his path, he could start to feel a bit of strain from his body. He didn't pack anything since he thought this would be a one-and-done fight. He was lucky enough that he left a mostly-eaten high-calorie bar. Even a sliver of it would be enough to keep him energetic to face that boss guy.

As he finally managed to reach the area of the bank, he sees a rather frail man with a gun, pointing it at a worker. There are also some grunts with guns pointed at hostages. Leizcio starts thinking of a plan in the back of his mind. If he screws up, one of those hostages would most likely die. Taking a few seconds, he enters a running stance and increases his speed higher. It'd only sting for a bit, but he knew that it'd be enough to save the people inside. He tackles the door, and before any of the grunts could make a reaction, he starts taking away their guns, as well as the one from the frail man. A few seconds pass and the grunts and boss are confused. Leizcio dashes to each grunt, punching them in the ribs and face knocking them unconscious. After all the grunts are down, the hostages ran outside where it'd be safe. Leizcio quickly takes the worker outside, leaving him and the boss alone inside the bank.

"You know, it's actually surprising how well this plan came together. Too bad there's already pros stopping those thieves, I already dealt with some on the way here. Hope you're ready to face the consequences." Leizcio says as he begins to dash, but he notices something. He sees that the man in front of him started twitching and some of his body enveloping itself in darkness.

"Why'd you come here? WHY? I'M NOT GOING TO JAIL! I WORKED TOO HARD FOR THIS!" The man said as he was transforming into a monster of darkness and his voice becoming distorted.

Osore:

Quirk: Fearful. Allows the user to amplify their strength through their fear!

Before Leizcio could say anything, he was punched out of the bank, rolling on the pavement from the hit. His chest armor didn't even help to nullify any of the damage. As he began to get up, he didn't have time to take a breather. He saw the monster leap at him with his fist aimed at him.

"Why are you doing this man? Just get a job?" Leizcio yelled, hoping to distract him for a second

But all that was returned was a grunt and a screech as the monster started running at him on all fours. Turns out that this form of his is erratic and lacks any form of thinking. It only has one thing on its mind. Get rid of the man messing with the plan.

Leizcio would dodge as much as he could, the beast threw things from the street around them at him. Leizcio was already losing some energy but he still has some left. He just has to think of this strategically. He runs away from the situation, as he's going to try to attempt his high-mass punch again. Bolting from where he was, he quickly reaches the monster and throws his punch.

There was no reaction, the monster barely moved. His hand felt like it had been broken, Leizcio screams in agony. Before he could recover from the pain, he takes a direct punch to the face from the beast. As he's sent flying, his body starts to feel weak. Adding onto the pain, he's sent into a wall, hurting his back. Barely getting up to stand he looks up at the monster in front of him in desperation.

A look of pain and fear falls upon Leizcio's face. His face feels like it's been hit by a car. His back was like someone threw a brick at it. His hand throbbing and fractured. His chest aching from the punch previously. His body's energy was barely able to hold on.

But yet he stands
