To AmyV24: Thank you so much! glad you're enjoying this! Halloween has been, we're approaching Christmas/New Year, it's mid December for the them. As for the dressing up as the Flinestones, I can't believe it, but I had considered it myself! Until I thought about what Gibbs reaction would be to it, and he'd Gibbs-slap me for even considering him as Fred, in that outfit! lol, so it won't be them, even if I will reveal it, which I'm unsure what I will with it just yet, it's just one of my many breadcrumbs at the moment.

Now, let's get right back into it!

Michael took a deep breath & looked straight at Niall & Jeffrey "I will do as you ask and we will escort you, but if this turns out to be a wild goose chase or you have lied about ANYTHING then I will be extremely displeased and show my anger towards you"

Niall nodded "I understand, and I assure you that unfortunately everything we have said is true"

Vance could tell that Gibbs was extremely tense, he wasn't used to letting others take the lead & he could tell it was grating on him, so when the agreement came through to go and movement started to happen he turned to Gibbs "how do you want to load up?" he wanted to give the man some control back.

"All of our vehicles are 7-8 seaters" Jeffrey remarked hearing the question "I will have someone drive each vehicle that knows this area extremely well"

Gibbs considered it, with himself, Shan, Kells & Tim as well as the driver it was already 5, so he could pick 3 more in his car "Tobias, Ted, Harry can you three come with us & Tim?"

Vance saw the trio nod.

Gibbs looked to Tony "why don't you, Patricia, Ziva, Silva & Zuse go in the car behind us with Pride & the Director"

Tony nodded "sounds like a plan" to have his team all with him & surrounding his sister was a relief.

Gibbs turned to his next target "Myles, you're in the car in front of us with your team" turning again he looked at the next "Wu, you & your team are in the car behind Tony, and I want Franks & Ducky with you"

"Yes sir" Myles responded

"Sure boss" Wu nodded

Gibbs turned to his last targets "Kruse you & your team I want split between 2 other cars, in front & behind, Michael & Jim can join one of the rear cars, and keep someone here with her" he finished motioning to the plane where Delilah was.

"Will do boss" Kruse nodded

Angela approached Patricia & placed her hands on the woman's arms "we will get them back to you, I promise you child. We will get them back & get your son well, you've found your family and we will make sure that he comes through his challenge"

"Thank you" Patricia replied, it was all she could really say. Trying to process all of the information she'd heard over the last few hours was incredibly difficult as well as awkward!

Myles climbed out of the vehicle "secure the area!" he called out seeing his team as well as the NCIS agents all alight from the vehicles. Looking around he saw that they were about a mile (1.6km) down the road from the entry to a group of warehouses. There wasn't a lot of cover between them & the buildings, but that Thomas guy didn't believe Liam would keep the trio in the first lot of buildings, more likely in one of the middle sector ones, less foot traffic to see from the roads & easier to hide movement of them. He didn't feel comfortable believing or using their intel, but they'd have to give them some level of cooperation.

"It's a pretty large district" Harry observed coming closer to Myles "scout the perimeter then move closer & do building by building" the drive over had been short yet tense, he was itching to get moving. He just held his rifle in his grasp as he surveyed their surrounding

"Yea I think so" Myles agreed "get a base line of security around the entire area and close the area down building by building" with his team, the NCIS agents as well as the countless people from 'the family' they had enough numbers to do that.

Kruse had heard the conversation & moved closer to the pair, he saw that Ted as well as the Director, Liam, Jeffrey & Keegan had done likewise, he'd even noticed that Mark (Michael's son-in law) had joined them too "what if we get a couple of scouts & sharp shooters up high, survey the area first & keep the ground teams covered"

Mark saw numerous heads nod in agreement "do you not think this is overkill? Whilst I'm not dismissing what you think my family have done, they aren't criminal masterminds and henchmen"

"They are exactly that" Kruse remarked "Loch & Jethro Lancert arranged for 2 men to infiltrate our federal agency to get information from Jeffrey's nephew about his sister, whom he knew nothing about, they then shot & killed those 2 men from a sniper nest. After which the pair led a group of over a dozen men in the kidnapping of Phoenix, they physically assault the boy with a steel iron & left his 3 companions, who are all military trained, in the hospital. One of whom they shot numerous times before running over! The marine is fighting for his life!"

"That marine is my brother! And Phoenix, he's as good as my brother too!" Myles added tensely "so you'll excuse me if we don't take all precautions & treat them as severely hostile. Because they are!"

"Your family aren't all church loving & gentle creatures Mark" Keegan remarked "you and I both know that"

"Keegan your family isn't all rose bushy either" Mark replied "but yes, Loch is a little rebellious"

Keegan rolled his eyes, rebellious, that was putting it mildly!

"I think we need a few teams to do a sweep of the perimeter & over the area before we go in" Liam McLowry remarked.

"4 teams of 3 to do the sweep & stay on the perimeter, we don't want anyone slipping out when the shit hits the fan" Myles remarked, they'd already started to arrange it "if we can get at least 2 or 3 teams up high to survey the area that would be good. I've got 2 snipers in my unit, if there's one other each of them could pair up with a spotter"

"Dyson!" Kruse called "Dyson is a former navy sniper" he said to Myles before turning to his man "get your sniper rifle, you're going high"

"With pleasure sir" Dyson answered, he was glad to be doing something finally!

"Silva, you're paired with Dyson" Tony remarked, the whole group was now sort of all together

"Yes sir" Silva replied

"Byrnes, you & Evan's are together" Myles instructed his men, these 2 worked best together

"Yes sir!" the pair answered.

Gibbs just listened as the teams were worked out for the sniper spots as well as the perimeter. A fair chuck of the family were doing the perimeter, as they were best placed to spot things out of place. Even some of the Fielding people were doing the perimeter. Whilst Gibbs had brought his sniper rifle with him, and he knew he was probably one to best out of the lot, going high would mean he would be away from his wife & daughter, not to mention he wouldn't be on the ground to find his boy, so he would not be going high!

Pride watched as the various groups all headed off, some on foot, some in vehicles. The ones that were left were himself, Gibbs & his wife and daughter of course, Tony & his sister, Ziva, Tim, Zuse, the Taylor men, Myles & his Staff Sargent, the Director, Fornell, Franks, Wu, his Jnr Agent Aymond, along with Ducky, Michael Barnes & Jim. And from the 'family' were Niall, his son Liam, Jeffrey, his son Charles, Keegan, Angela & a man he now knew was her son Alexander. A small party there were not!

Pride saw that Michael Fielding and his son Thomas, and a man he now knew to be Henry Lancert, Mark's son, was there too, but they were standing a little way away now that everything had been organised.

Thomas had finished another discussion with his father before moving towards the group, he held his tablet up "I have the layout of the warehouse district here"

Gibbs stepped forward to take it, whilst he knew a number of others would want to take charge of how they went in, he wouldn't let that happen. He simply took the tablet & placed it onto the hood of the nearest vehicle.

"We're here" Thomas said pointing at the southern most spot "I believe if he's holding them here it would be in one of the 2 centre buildings" he said pointing to the 2 in the middle "they are covered from all exits by the surrounding buildings"

"I can also add that no one is in this front building here" Henry remarked, he wasn't sure he believed what he'd heard, but he had to stand by his great uncle's agreement.

"How do you know that?" Fornell queried

"Because that is where my father & I run our confectionary line from & its currently closed for a mass-remodelling and in order access the place you need to swipe your access card" Henry explained and continued before anyone could say a word "and I can see all access requests and times, and no one has entered the building in 3 days"

"Similarly no one is the building north of the middle warehouses, they have similar access requirements and no one's been in them for 2 days" Thomas added

"So that leaves 4 buildings" Tim remarked "what's in the ones on the east & west?" he asked

"The building on the east is vacant at the moment, we haven't got any access requirements for it" Henry answered "should be able to quickly checked for any movement"

"The building on the west is our textile factory, but it's currently closed for pest control cleaning" Thomas remarked, it suddenly dawned on him that maybe with all the warehouses shutdown was the reason Liam chose this location to hold the trio.

Gibbs considered it "so 2 larger teams, one from this entry, the other from the north, part of the teams veer off to cover the other buildings and we search the 2 central buildings" he took a breath as he considered everything, it was getting late in the afternoon & the sun was going to be setting very soon. He knew that would mean the situation would become even more troublesome to navigate "we need to move fast & get going the sun…" he just couldn't finish the sentence, he'd heard a gunshot ring out & immediately pulled both of his girls to the side of the car to shield them.

Myles reacted instantly, bringing his rifles up & panning the area, he knew the shot had come from within the warehouses & didn't believed the shot had been fired in their direction. He saw that Harry, Ted and a number of others had reacted similarly, all of them creating a cover of sorts around the others "Byrnes! Do you have line of sight for the shot?" he asked into his comms.

"Nothing sir" Byrnes responded "we don't have any movements in fact" they were in the south west area & could so no one.

Tony had taken a stand in front of sister, he was gripping his rifle has tightly as he could "Silva, anything?"

"Nothing sir" Silva reported, they were in the north area looking south & could see no movement.

"Got movement sir" Specialist Osborne reported "we're in the south east corner & can see movement in the building to the east of the main thoroughfare sir"

"Numbers? Friend or foe?" Myles asked

"Looks to be at least 4 men, definitely foe, they're searching for something or someone, all have weapons at the ready" Osborne replied

"Keep them in your sights, we'll be heading in in 5" Myles responded.

Gibbs knew the time to act was upon them & he became torn, he needed to go in & find his boy but he also needed to stay back & look after his wife and daughter, what on earth was he going to do?

Shannon knew what her husband was now thinking, he wanted to go in and find their boy, but she was sure that he'd want to stay with them just as much, she wouldn't make this decision for him "you do what you feel is best Jethro, Kelly & I will be fine darling" she said simply, she knew he'd listen to his gut.

Gibbs let out a breath, having her give him the blessing to go or stay should have helped him decide but it really didn't.

Ted could see the look on his friend's face, he knew he was torn "Jethro, Harry & I will go with Myles, you stay here, we'll get him back, I promise you both, we'll find him" he finished looking between Gibbs & Shannon with as much determination as he could muster.

"Too right we will" Harry nodded, he was itching to get going & finally do something!

Gibbs nodded "ok, Ted…"

"Don't say it, it goes without saying, we'll get him & get him back here, and we'll stay safe" Ted remarked cutting him off.

"Thank you both" Shannon remarked, but she caught sight of Myles sorting out something on his kit & speaking with Keegan, Charles & Mark "Myles"

Myles looked across to her "don't worry Mrs G, we'll get squirt, he's going to be fine!" he said determinedly "he owes me a jersey after all" he added with cheek.

"Just keep yourself safe as well" Shannon remarked before turning to Tony & Ziva who she could see were going to go too "you two as well, I want all of you to stay safe"

Tony smiled "we will" he turned to his sister "I'll get Jake, stay here & get his meds ready with Ducky, I'll bring him back to you" he said determinedly

Patricia wasn't sure how to feel, here was a man she'd only met mere hours ago and she was going to trust the life of her son to? Sure he was her brother, a brother she never knew she had, it just felt strange but he was speaking with such determination it was hard to argue "why are you.." she didn't even have the words to describe the question she had.

"I always wanted a sister, always felt like I should have a sibling growing up, it feels right" Tony remarked before continuing "and I've learnt that you always do whatever is required for family & to protect family, and you & Jake are now a part of that, it'll be ok"

Even though Shannon was still cautious of Patricia, given her apart relationship with her own father, she couldn't help but smile at what Tony was saying, she was proud of every word she heard & gave him a smile of encouragement & wasn't at all surprised when he came over to her. She also noticed that her husband had moved slightly away to speak with the Taylor's, Myles and others & that Kelly was having a quiet conversation with Tim too.

Shannon smiled at Tony as she raised her hand to place onto his cheek "you're a good man Anthony, you keep that strength within like I know you can" she took a moment and then lowered her voice to a whisper so that only the pair could hear "I'm proud you my boy"

Tony chocked back a tear "thanks"

Shannon nodded "now, you are going to go in there & find the boys, yes?"

'Absolutely" Tony agreed

Kelly was nestled into Tim, she knew he was going to go in & was glad for a quick hug before he went in.

"We'll get him Kells, promise you" Tim remarked, he was heading in, but was going to go in from the other side

"Please" Kelly whispered

"Promise" Tim replied as he pressed a kiss to her head.

Kelly looked up to him "be careful too" she said before giving him a kiss.

Tim came out of the kiss and smiled "I'll be careful, be back before you know it" he said as reassuringly as he could.

Angela could see numerous rushed conversations were taking place, she looked at her cousins, nephews & son "don't do anything rash in there, just find the boys & Alex and get them out" she knew that her brother Niall, nor cousin Jeffrey were going in, but Keegan, Liam, Charles & Alexander were.

"We'll get them Ang" Keegan remarked "we'll get all 3 of them out before we deal with the Fielding's"

"We are going to let Michael deal with his family" Niall remarked, he quickly waved his hand to get everyone's attention, thankful that since the first gunshot none other had occurred "Thomas & Mark will lead the teams in, but Michael has just confirmed that he is going in alone & heading straight to the building we've seen movement at, we are not going to engage until either we get word that the discussion did not bear fruit or the situation changes and it becomes untenable" he knew his family would know what that meant, basically that the Fielding's started to engage in gunfire or assault.

Vance watched as Michael started to walk towards the warehouses, he had to admit, that took guts! He then noticed that Henry Lancert was following a short distance behind, he wondered how far back the man would stay from Michael?

Thomas was nervous about the situation, especially now that they'd heard the gunshot! He really wasn't liking his father heading in alone, he had to smirk though when he saw his nephew Henry start to slowly walk in his father's direction, clearly keeping watch but staying back enough. He also drew comfort not to mention surprise at what he heard next.

"Can we get the spotters to keep watch on Michael?" Angela queried, the last thing they needed was for something to happen to the man by one of their own or the other side, then all bets would be off!

Getting the nod from Gibbs, Myles spoke into his radio "all teams be aware MF heading into district on foot, keep watch and ensure safe passage, acknowledge order"

Fornell listened as all teams, both up high & on the perimeter came back with the affirmative, he was about to speak when they heard another gunshot "think we need to get moving!"

"Those heading in from the other side into the vehicles!" Liam ordered.

Vance realised that though it seemed like longer, it had been mere minutes between the shots, it was definitely to act though! He prayed that the shots were not aimed at any of their people though. He just watched as Liam, Alexander, McGee, Zuse, Wu, Aymond, Staff Sargent Montgomery, Franks as well as Mark all piled into the vehicles. It meant that Myles, Ted, Harry, Tony, Ziva, Fornell, Keegan, Charles and Thomas were heading through this entry. Waiting in the wings were himself, Pride, Gibbs, Jim, Niall, Jeffrey all of whom were armed, along with Shannon, Kelly, Patricia, Angela, Ducky & Michael Barnes. There was however no one from the Fielding clan left with them, he found it a little odd.

Vance then saw a pair of people heading for them, one was SFA Lovett, the other he recognised as having come with Michael Fielding, perhaps they were heading back to ensure a Fielding was present in their group? Then he saw the man take off quite quickly & intercept Tony's group, they were about to enter the warehouse area, after a brief conversation the man had continued on with the group & Thomas was heading back towards them with Lovett.

Gibbs wondered why the change of men & shared a look of concern with Vance & Pride as Thomas headed back, when he got close he spoke "something wrong?" he asked as he nodded towards Lovett who took up position in the front lines.

"Not at all" Thomas answered simply "my son Daniel will go with your team, he's a lot more apt at this sort of stuff than I am to be honest, he's former SAS, so thought it best to go in himself, and that I can be here to help oversee things"

"He better understand the situation" Jeffrey remarked tensely.

"My son understands perfectly, though he is former SAS, he hates conflict, he will do what is required no matter what" Thomas answered, "who are they?" he asked pointing to car that was approaching and slowing down.

Niall turned & looked "that is my nephew Shane, along with.."

"Major Marcus Bond, Myles' brother" Gibbs finished, he then saw "and one of his airmen"

"Uncle Niall, thought we'd come see if you needed more bodies to help, the planes are secured down & Ferguson has the situation under control" Shane remarked as came close.

"Here to help sir" Marcus replied, he'd borrowed gear from, he didn't know who, but he'd managed to kit himself & Airman Fletcher out with vests & rifles. He could see that a great number of people that had come were no longer present, they must have headed in already, he just hoped his brother would stay safe & find Phoenix.

"Appreciate it" Gibbs replied, and he did, since everyone had gone to their posts & in, they were pretty light on here, so the added help to protect his girls was welcomed!

Marcus motioned to his man to take a stand up with where Pride, Jim were both as he took a stand close to his friend. He could tell she was struggling but trying to hold it together as much as possible. "Moby will get him Kells" he said quietly as stood by her.

Ducky had remained as out of the way as much as possible, part of him considered even remaining at the airport, but given what he knew of the boy's condition, and he'd done even more research on it on the plane from DC even going so far as to call his doctor's to get a better understanding of it all, he knew that every moment counted, so he wanted to be as close on hand as possible.

"Can I help you Dr Mallard?" Michael Barnes asked "I'm feeling a little well.." he felt like he was standing around not doing anything, he knew nothing of weapons or anything, Jim had gotten right back into his police mind frame & loaded himself up to help, but the help that Michael was here for was thus far not required, he just hated standing around though & doing nothing & not being useful.

"I would appreciate that" Ducky replied, he knew what the man was trying to say without even saying it "if you can lay out the various packages from the bags onto the truck here, I'm think we may need a triage area, if history is any guide"

"Certainly" Michael nodded as he started to assist in getting the various bandages and alike laid out inside the trunk "this family certainly seems to go through a fair amount of rough trots"

Ducky gave sign "unfortunately it seems so, let's hope this is the last of the troubles"

"I pray you are right" Michael said in a joint sigh.

Angela was standing by her niece "I am so ever sorry that you have been dragged into this conflict, it was never a conflict of yours. All I can promise is that we will sort it out, and then, we will sort everything else out, you're a part of the family and we do what we must for family"

"Thank you" Patricia commented, she was beyond exhausted but it looked like they were in the final stretch, she was going to get her son back into her arms! She prayed he wasn't too unwell & was ever so grateful that they had not just medicine, but the right medicine, as well as a doctor on hand. Learning everything she had in the last few hours had been an absolute whirlwind & she definitely saw a lengthy conversation ahead of her with her father, or was he her uncle? Realising the man wasn't her father was incredibly hard to fathom, she couldn't imagine it any other way or anyone else in his stead, and knowing that this lady standing amongst them was his true daughter, a daughter that he'd left no less was also hard to fathom. What also struck her was how close all of these people were with each other, and she wasn't thinking about the McLowry/Paddington clan, but the family now knew was named Gibbs & those around them, they all seemed to really close, it was a strange thing to see. She couldn't let her mind wander though, she had to concentrate on her son, he was the most important thing in her life, she had to know he was ok! She just stared towards the warehouses & hoped that her newly found brother would come through with his promise.

Myles knew the second shot had come from the other side of the complex and whilst he always preferred to have his team with him and not have all of them split up he recognised that in this case he needed a divide & conquer mentality as they had to split their assets to as many groups as possible. He knew Montgomery would take control of his team and they'd find the person responsible for the gun shot, just like he would do on their end.

Myles lead his group into the bowls of the complex, he had both Daniel Fielding as well as Harry right on his flanks, with Tony & Charles right behind and others behind them. Seeing a small gap between buildings he looked at Daniel "does this lead to where we want? Doors or anything in the length?" this inside knowledge had already served them well to avoid the initial 4 men that was spotted, they had to get to the central building to cover Michael Fielding and be ready to search it. He knew those men had been looking for someone, the question was who and why?

"No door entries into this path and it goes right to the building we need, but the end is flush opening, no cover to be had" Daniel answered "we could have a few go down it, but we'd need some to go around to provide cover…"

Harry was surveying the area, along with this walkway he saw a few others on the various sides of the building, he could hear his father & Fornell discussing options as well as Tony & Ziva, but something caught his attention "Shh! Quiet! I hear something"

Ted listened to the noises around them, they'd all gone silent, he was about to dismiss his son's thought when he caught maybe a whisper "that way!" he motioned quietly, it was coming from their left.

Myles led them cautiously in the required direction, this area was such a rabbit warren it presented numerous issues, it took time to search each corner they came around and there were corners right before open areas that had to be checked, reaching one such corner he saw that the way ahead would require moving across a 50ft (15 metre) wide opening, not exactly ideal. That's though when he heard a noise, he couldn't quite work out what it was, but it was coming from the other side.

"This road leads right through the property, it's totally open" Daniel commented

"Byrne, do you have us in your scope?" Myles asked, they were the closest position to him, he then relayed where they were as best as he could to give them an idea as to where to look

"Stick a finger out sir" Byrnes requested

Myles did so, placing out 3 fingers into the open, flush against the wall.

"Trio of fingers spotted sir" Evans responded

"Anything on the other side of the road to where we are?" Myles queried

"Can only see the road sir & the entire length is clear of any persons, MF cleared past it already & has disappeared into the building already" Byrnes answered

From what Ziva could see, straight across from them was a maze of walkways just like the one they'd come through, anything could be waiting for them on the other side. "I will go ahead & secure the other side"

"Negative" Myles disagreed "I need you, Fornell & Ted to watch our six. Daniel, Keegan & Charles to keep watch on the road whilst myself, Harry & Tony to move across and secure the other side" he finished with his instructions, he saw Ziva wasn't impressed but he didn't care, he didn't have time to waste on debating who would do what.

Ziva wanted to object, but knew it would be pointless, she then realised something, Myles was looking at her pointedly, he wanted her to watch their six, he wanted someone who knew how to handle themselves to watch the six of Keegan & Charles who weren't really versed in this aspect of policing or military life "of course" she responded.

Myles looked between Harry & Tony "be at the ready to move when Byrnes relays that its clear, Harry you cover right, Tony, left" he saw the pair nod & bring their rifles again to their chins to be at the ready.

"Give us a 3 count to move Byrnes" Myles ordered

"Hold sir, we've got a body crossing the road" Evans remarked urgently

Daniel's eyes widened as he shifted to the edge of the wall, he peered around the corner & tried to get a good look down the road, he breathed a sigh of relief "it's Henry, my cousin, he came with us, he'd keeping an eye on Michael, it's ok" he relayed to everyone, all of the teams were using the same comms channel so they could know what happening where.

Byrnes altered his scope to get a closer look at the man, he'd taken note of all of the people with them, including those that arrived with Michael "confirming sighting of a friendly" he then saw the man give a nod

"Get your head back in Daniel!" Henry remarked quietly "you're all clear from this end, but make it quick!" he wasn't sure how long it would stay clear for.

Myles breathed a sigh of relief "give us the count Byrnes"

Byrnes & Evan made sure the entire length of the road was clear, save for Henry, before speaking "3, 2 ….now sir!" Byrnes called out

Henry watched as his cousin and two others ran at full pelt across the road.

Myles led the trio out, keeping his head on a swivel as ran across the road, reaching the safety of the other side, he moved into path just enough to ensure Harry & Tony both were able to come in for cover. He then crouched down to take a moments breather.

Tony had run as fast as he could & was glad they made it across, as he took a moment that noise that had been heard before was definitely louder, he just couldn't work out what it was. He saw Harry signal that a sound was coming from around the corner, he nodded in agreement as he retook a strong hold of his rifle, he had to be ready for anything!

Harry was certain the noise, whatever it was, was coming from around the corner, he'd seen the other two nod in agreement, he kept his rifle primed as they all got ready to move around the corner & see what it was. He didn't know what to expect, so he held his finger right over the trigger ready for anything as he took a step forward and held his breath.

Myles had his rifle at the ready, he could tell that neither Harry or Tony could work out what the noise was, he thought it was perhaps someone whispering, but there was another sound mixed in & that sounded like a whimper, so he really had no idea what was happening around the corner. He just made sure to keep focused as he took a step forward into the unknown.

A/N: Oww... what or who is around the corner? Will the boys be ok? Can they Nix, Jake & Alex? Now before I go any further, I assure everyone that Gibbs will most definitely be involved in the situation, he will not be sitting this out, like I could really stop him anyway!
