Now, before I go any further I would just like to point something out, Tim's presence is not being ignored, he is in the group that is entering the compound from the other end, I assure you they will make a significant impact! You just have to wait & see..

Gibbs carefully led the group through the rabbit warren, he & Pride cleared every corner before they let Ted bring his son & the others with them. The gunfire was still coming & that concerned him, he hoped that Ziva got to Myles soon & that they'd be ok.

Gibbs knew this was the last corner up ahead, after that it was a clear line of sight through the property & back to where his wife & daughter were waiting "Gibbs to central, about to arrive in parklands, is it ready for a party?"

Vance couldn't help it, he chuckled, trust Gibbs to come up with code that was.. different, he knew though what he was asking "the parklands is a peaceful place & I'd like to keep it that way, 2 park rangers are making their rounds to the other end to ensure peace reigns" he finished as he motioned to Lovett to head ahead & meet them.

Jim decided to be Lovett's second & headed off as well.

"Roger that" Gibbs confirmed, he held the group a few minutes to allow time for their 2 people to get close, he snuck a look around the corner carefully & that's when he saw both SFA Lovett & Jim Nelson almost upon them, he made eye contact with Jim & motioned him to go a bit further along from where they were, it would give them additional rear cover.

Gibbs looked to Pride "2 friendlies, let's go" he looked behind him "we're moving" the gunfire had barely subsided, so the sooner they got out of there the better!

"Almost there" Tony soothed into Jake's ear as he followed Ted & Harry around the corner, he looked back down the road just to ensure there was no threat, what he saw was both SFA Lovett & Jim Nelson standing facing the other way with their weapons drawn. They were providing extra cover for them, it gave him another sense of ease, that they'd get the boys out safely.

Tony wasn't running, but he was briskly walking, he was now next to Harry as they made their way to the exit. He was concerned for Ziva, as well as Myles, they hadn't re-joined them, and the gunfire hadn't really stopped.

Gibbs kept the pace at brisk walk, he could see Vance, Marcus & the others all had their heads on swivels looking for any danger. As they got closer to Vance who had taken a forward line he stood to the side & motioned for Ted & Tony to go ahead of them, he wanted to ensure that no one would come up behind them.

Pride had seen Gibbs take the side step & did likewise on the groups other side, he just kept watch, the constant sound of gunfire was not all that pleasant to hear. He just kept watch as the group made their way briskly back to where the others were.

Patricia was getting more nervous as the minutes ticked by, she then saw that 2 people were heading towards the district, her son was getting closer. She held her breath, and didn't release it until she saw the group were heading towards them, Tony, her brother (and she was still processing that!), was carrying her son. He was clearly too weak to walk! She was concerned about his health, she just wanted him in her arms! She moved forward to take a stand between the 2 air force personnel.

Shannon could see her husband leading the group back towards them, but where was their son? Her eyes widened, behind him was their son, but he was being carried by Ted & Harry! She bit down on her lips, he clearly wasn't well enough to walk himself! She could see his head was hanging downwards, he was clearly in pain & it was hurting her badly, she just wanted to hold him! She looked back towards her husband and could see the tension & rage he was holding inside of himself.

Niall watched as the group headed back towards them, he was glad they'd found the boys & were getting them to safety but where was his brother? They also hadn't heard from Michael or Henry about him & was worried about the man as well. He shared a look with his brother, sister & cousin, he knew they shared his concerns. He watched as the group was almost upon & Patricia went towards them.

"Jake!" Patricia called as she made a run towards her son once they were close enough.

Jake's head shot up at the voice, he turned his head & saw his mum coming straight for him "mum!" he cried out.

Tony almost lost hold of the boy as he lunged for his mum, he managed to keep hold of him long enough to see him safely into the arms of his mum. He couldn't help but smile as he wrapped himself around his mum as tightly as he could.

Shannon just watched as Ted & Harry got closer with her son, she knew she had to wait for them to bring him to her, they even had the boot of one of SUV's already open, she had to say something though "Phoenix darling!" she exclaimed

Kelly had her head buried into herself as she worried, but her mum's comment had her head shooting up, the sight before her shocked her. Ted & Harry were rushing past her carrying her brother, he looked really bad! "Phoenix!"

Phoenix was hurting, he was in a lot of pain! Ted & Harry had sped up their walking & were close to running, it meant he was being bounced & that was hurting his rib cage immensely! But he saw his mum "mum!' he cried, then he saw "Kell!"

Shannon watched & waited until her son had been sat down in the open boot & as soon as Ted & Harry let go of him she instantly sat down & put her arms around him "my darling" she breathed out as she embraced him, she finally had her boy back in her arms!

Kelly sat down on her brother's other side & pressed herself into him, she needed the physical contact right now.

Gibbs had rushed after his son, he was glad they'd gotten them back to the others, glad he'd gotten his boy back to his family! He quickly put himself in front of his son & brought, not just him, but his entire family into his hold "we're ok now, everything's ok now, we're ok, this family is ok now" he took a breath "dad's here bud" he whispered into his boy's ear.

"Mum's here darling" Shannon whispered into her boy's ear "you're ok now darling, we're here" she soothed.

Tony followed his sister & nephew to the rear of the SUV where Ducky was waiting, he flashed a look towards the SUV where Nix now sat, the family were huddled into each other, he knew they'd need time before they were ready to pull back & let Nix be seen by Ducky. It meant that the doctor would have time to see to Jake, which he was glad for.

Patricia took a seat in the back of the SUV where that Dr Mallard had set everything up, she had her son in her tight hold "I'm here my little man, I'm here Jakey, you're with mum now, it's going to be ok my boy" she soothed into his ear

"Mummm" Jake simply sobbed "mmuuuummmm"

Patricia let a few tears out, her son sounded distraught, and it was killing her. She pulled them apart just enough so she could look at him "I'm right here Jacob, and you're going to be ok, I promise you" she finished as rubbed his back, she then beckoned the doctor forward "Jacob, I'm right here my boy, right here" she soothed as she stroked his cheek "the first thing I want though darling is to get you feeling better. This gentleman here, his name is Dr Mallard, he's a doctor. He's got your medication, can you let him give it to you?"

Jake looked at the older man that approaching him before looking at his mum "will you stay with me?"

Patricia's heart broke "oh darling, I'm not going anywhere" she pulled him into her lap "I'm right here darling, I love you ever so much!"

Ducky waited until she had gotten him settled before he approached the pair, and when he did he had not only Anthony with him, but Angela & Jeffrey too. He put as happy face on as he could muster at a time like this "hello Jacob, you can call me Ducky"

Tony could see that Jake was still really scared so he took a seat next to his sister & spoke gently as he placed a comforting hand on the boy's leg "I've known Ducky for a long time, he's the friendliest doctor I know. He'll get you feeling better, I'm sure of it"

Jeffrey hovered next to Angela as they watched the doctor start to give Jake his shots, he hoped they'd work, the boy was looking fairly pale. Looking at him though, those green eyes were just like Patty's, and those cheeks, yea he saw a lot of his sister in this boy, this boy who was his sister's grandson! His own great-nephew, a boy he didn't even know existed! They had some making up to do, he had making up to do & he'd do it!

Nix let himself he enveloped into his family, he was soo glad to be back with them, he would be the first to admit that he had been petrified! He was again shaken when he heard more gunfire & it shook him out of his current state. His head shot up & he had his dad looking right at him " You gotta go get him!" he exclaimed to his dad.

Gibbs cupped his son's face in his hands "Myles will be fine son" he assured his boy. He knew his son would be worried about him, he wanted to keep him calm though & had seen him tense "calm down for me bud, its ok"

"No its not!" Nix retorted "you gotta go get Alexander!" he exclaimed loudly.

Gibbs pulled back in surprise "what are you talking about?" he asked quickly. He saw his wife had also drawn backwards in surprise.

"What are you talking about darling?" Shannon asked, had her son really been with her father?

Nix took a breath as he looked between his parents "he… he got Jake & me out of the building, he knew that Liam & Loch weren't going to wait much longer & he wanted to get us away before they came back, he's going to confront them, alone! He thinks it's all his fault, his willing to…." he finished in nothing more than a whisper as he looked at his mum, he'd learnt so much in that basement "you can't let him! You have to go help him!" he finished in a plea to his dad "please dad!" he sobbed.

Gibbs couldn't believe how much his son seemed to care for the man, but that final please & sob almost broke him as he shared a look with his wife, he could see how much this had affected her, he couldn't leave his son hanging though "I will son, as soon as Ducky sees you…"

"No, now!" Nix interrupted him "please dad, I'm fine, Ducky can help me after he helps Jake, please go help him!"

Shannon had no words, her son not only knew who her father was, but was begging his dad to go after him, something significant had happened, but what? She couldn't say she didn't want the man to be ok, because she did, but she wasn't sure she wanted her husband to see him so soon, it really was a strange way for her to be feeling.

Gibbs couldn't believe the fight his son was mounting, this clearly meant a lot to him "ok, I'll go" he caressed his son's cheek as he looked at his wife, she had both tears streaming down her face as well as a look of utter puzzlement. He reached out & caressed her cheek too "stay here Shan, I'll be back, promise you hon!"

Jake was sitting in his mum's lap, he always hated needles, so the arm that wasn't being pricked he used to pull his mum's arm around him, he just wanted to be held forever & not let go. His eyes widened though, he quickly turned to look at his mum "Pop!"

"Where is he Jake?" Patricia asked, where did they even find her son? "weren't you with him?"

"I was…. But" Jake sobbed

"but what darling?" Patricia prodded "what happened?"

"Those mean guys took us & left us in this basement room, it was really dark & cold. Then they brought that boy in, Nix. Pop said some things, he then got into an argument with those men, a really bad one! One of them punched him" he sobbed out.

Angela just listened to the young boy told his mother what he knew, the fact that he was sobbing clearly from fear was just unpleasant & hearing that Alexander had been punched wasn't comforting either.

"Oh darling" Patricia soothed her son "it's going to be ok, you're doing well, keep going"

Jake took a breath "after that Pop looked really worried, he… he did something with Nix & his shoe, it took a little while, then… then Pop had another fight with those men… then he forced me to leave him! He got a window open from the basement, he said I had to leave with Nix. He said that Nix would get me out & back to you, he said he'd given Nix instructions as to where to go. We gotta find him mum!"

Patricia's heart was breaking, her son was distraught "darling we will, these people are going to get Pop, it's going to be ok"

Jeffrey was torn listening to his great-nephew, the poor boy was almost distraught. His focus though was caught elsewhere when he raised voices. He shifted focus and saw the raised voices were coming from where the other boy, Phoenix was, and he saw that his cousin was approaching the young man & his family.

Jake looked at his mum "pop said that Nix was my cousin, is that true?"

Patricia was caught off guard, but knew she couldn't deny anything "it looks that way darling" and she honestly had no idea how they'd deal with it all.

Niall had heard the exclamation the young man had made & he had to move closer "excuse me"

Gibbs saw that not only had Niall moved closer but so had Patrik & Thomas, Ted, Harry, Marcus, Vance & Pride were all hovering closely too. He took a breath "Phoenix bud, this is Niall, Pat …"

"I know that name!" Nix interrupted his father, he looked at the older man "Liam was cursing your name whilst I heard him arguing with Alexander"

Niall growled "I bet he was" he took a breath "Phoenix, can you tell me where you left Alex? Where is he?"

"In the basement on the west side of the building with clay bricks. He got us out of the window near where the transformers were" Nix answered as he looked at the man, he was older than Alexander, but they definitely looked alike!

Thomas's eyes widened "that's the building that my father went into" he remarked before speaking into his comms "Henry! Any news on my father? Alexander is somewhere in that building too"

Patrik waited for the response but nothing came, he shared a look with Thomas "where is he?"

"Don't know" Thomas remarked, he grew concerned instantly "Henry!"

Vance could see the apprehension now showing on everyone's face "this is central, does anyone have eyes on Henry?"

Vance shared a look with Pride, they weren't getting any responses, this wasn't good, at all!

"Static" Pride remarked as he listened

Marcus had been close, he could see that Nix wasn't well, but he was currently nestled between his mum & sister. Listening to the NCIS Director & Agent Pride, this wasn't sounding good "can I take a listen sir?" he enquired, he wasn't hooked up to the comms unit.

Pride passed him his ear wig "damn strange, only started a moment ago"

Marcus listened, it took but a moment "EMP burst, someone's knocked out the comms" he finished as he looked around the group, but settled on Gibbs "someone worked out we're here & clearly didn't want us communicating anymore"

"Incoming!" Lovett yelled, there were multiple bodies she could now see, and she had no idea who were friendlies & who weren't! This wasn't good, at all!

A/N: Well, at the least the boys are back with their family's! But just because they're all together doesn't mean its safe, who's coming for them now? And yes, I know we haven't seen Tim or his team in this chapter, but it is coming! Promise!

Now I have to confess, this was not where I wanted to finish the chapter, but my writing hasn't gotten me much further & I wanted to get something out to everyone, I assure you that I have started writing the next bit, so I'm hoping to have something up soon!
