I'm really sorry I haven't replied to the latest ones, but I wanted to get this up super quick, will definitely get to them as soon as I can.

So, let's get straight into this & see how everyone's feeling after the accident revelation...

Shannon was horrified, mortified! Her actions had caused the deaths of 4 people? She started to feel ill.

"Shannon, it wasn't your fault at all" Rose remarked quickly, she could see the emotions changing on the woman's face to one of guilt & it wasn't right "there were many contributing factors, but it was an accident pure & simple, so please don't blame yourself child"

Gibbs was utterly shocked at what he'd heard, 4 people had died from an accident his wife had been in? He could see she was already blaming herself, but if they said it was an accident, and by the sounds of it, it was, he wouldn't let her think that at all, he turned to whisper very quietly into her ear "accident babe, don't borrow trouble" he finished squeezing her closer into his side.

"It most certainly was an accident" Niall agreed "no one, no matter what people's thoughts were, was to blame"

To Patricia it just sounded horrible, 4 members of the one family all dying at the same time "they all died in the crash?" she quietly asked.

"Henry & Louise died in the crash, Jethro died a few days later in hospital & Barbara was in a coma for 3 weeks before they turned her life support off" Angela explained to Patricia "it was a horrible accident. Your mother sustained a broken arm, Alexander received 2 cracked ribs, a fractured ankle & a broken wrist" she shifted her focus to Shannon "you my dear were extremely lucky, your father managed shield you a great deal, but you did get some cuts & bruises, that scar on your forehead, just below the hairline, it's from the accident"

Shannon reached up & ran a finger along the scar, it wasn't thick, but it was around 4 inches (10cm) long, she'd always wondered how she'd gotten it, now she knew & didn't know where to go with it.

"The police investigated, found that it was a result of many different things, including the poor condition of the Fielding's road, they were almost 2 years overdue on getting the road relayed. As a result, they deemed it an accident, a result of many contributing factors & no one was held accountable" Niall remarked.

"But not everyone believed that" Tony guessed

"No" Jeffrey answered briskly.

"Liam & Jeremiah both blamed Alexander as well as Patty for what happened, but your grandfather Martin Paddington, as well as your great uncle Eamon McLowry had spoken at length with their uncle, Michael Fielding, Henry's brother. He agreed that it was a horrible accident & he didn't want to reopen old wounds, so he said he would ensure that no further trouble would come from it" Rose explained

"Which obviously didn't happen!" Patrik spat, he saw the look in Jeffrey's eyes & knew his cousin was of like mind "never should have let Alex go back" he muttered

Gibbs wondered if it had been deemed an accident how did that result in Shannon's father doing what he did? He was betting he was pushed along! "How did you lose contact with Alexander?"

"Alex blamed himself for the accident, for not just the deaths of the Fielding clan but the injuries to Patty & you Shannon" Angela explained quietly as she looked at the woman before her "he was so distraught by it all that as soon as you & he were deemed healthy enough to fly, he flew the two of you back to the U.S. He claimed he didn't want to remain in the UK and have to see everyone's faces, knowing he was the cause of it. He was especially concerned how the Fielding's would react & thought if he left, he would take away the constant reminder & maybe the peace could last between the two families."

"It was a similar mentality that Patty had when she left for New York" Rose added gently, she saw Jeffrey stand up with a huff & pace just behind them "she, like Alexander, blamed herself, she felt she had let the family down by letting a fun afternoon interfere with long standing rules about where they went & where they didn't go near. She had felt completely beside herself that she had been behind the wheel & caused such an accident. She also hated the fact that she had hurt you Shannon, she had been beside herself when she found out you were in the hospital as well seeking treatment" she finished gently.

Kelly really didn't know what to do or say, she was just blown away by the fact that her mum had been so close with Tony's mother when she was kid! I mean what are the odds?! Seriously!?

"She didn't go alone though" Tony remarked, he had recollections of his grandparents.

"My parents wouldn't let her go alone, and she was too….….. pigheaded to see reason & stay" Jeffrey answered the remark as calmly as he could, which wasn't a great deal! "I couldn't get my head around it, I felt like she was running away when there was no cause for it. As far as my brother Clive & I were concerned, she should have remained & not run away, running away only helped to shore up the belief for the Fielding's that she had been guilty of causing the accident, and I, we found it difficult to cope with that, we couldn't forgive her for leaving like she did, running away with her tail between her legs, so to speak"

Tony's eyes widened, his mother had run away from her family? His uncle was looking really caught up about it all!

"My parents went with her reluctantly, in the long run it did help our business as we were able to break into the U.S. market a lot easier with them there, but I knew they had gone with a heavy heart. Clive & I remained here in the UK & our parents commuted between us, we spent a great deal of time with our various aunts & uncles, but we never went over to the U.S." Jeffrey finished in almost a chocked manner, he was starting to feel ill about talking about it.

Niall could see how hard this was for his cousin to speak about, he looked to his brother & knew he wouldn't say the next bit so he would, he looked towards Shannon "your father gave us a similar feeling, he felt removing himself would allow the families to live in peace. It wasn't a notion any of us could understand, we had never bowed to the pressures of the feud & felt similarly to Jeffrey in that Alexander was running away, I can't tell you the number of arguments I had with him, I even tried speaking with Joanne to get him to see reason, but he was…. well, stubbornness runs deep in our family is all I will say"

Shannon's eyes widened, Niall had spoken with her mum? Her mum knew these people? "You knew my mother?"

"I only met her but a handful of times, but I came to respect her & I enjoyed our meetings" Niall smiled, "I regret a lot of things in my life, none more so than how I handled things when my brother decided to cut off ties with us"

"Cut off ties?" Shannon asked

"All of a sudden one day, our family's lawyer received a call saying that Alexander no longer wished to see us & if all of his accounts & family inheritance portion could be transferred into his personal account, he cut himself off from us. He moved you away from Long Branch, quit his teaching position at Princeton, didn't leave any forwarding address or anything. We had no idea where he went" Angela said sadly, she couldn't believe her brother could do such a thing, they had been so close!

"Princeton?" came the query from not only Shannon, but Kelly, Tim & Tony

"Your grandfather was extremely astute with technology, it fascinated him." Angela answered Kelly, her remark had been far the loudest.

Kelly couldn't believe it, she'd always wondered where her technology obsession came from, and now she knew "that's how he knew the coding that he showed me" she remarked to herself.

"Coding?" Angela query

"You've met him?" Niall queried, but he saw Patricia was equally surprised.

Kelly nodded "I attended a symposium in New Orleans when I was 21, he was one of the facilitators, I didn't know who he was though. He showed a group of us a coding scenario that used Latin & Old English, I never used it until now, it was how we managed to read the emails between Loch & some his men, how we knew Carlisle was a place of significance"

Niall's eyes widened "I must say I am impressed, but I think we need to speed things up"

"Please" Patricia pleaded, her son didn't have a lot of time before he'd be in desperate need of his medicine.

Angela nodded "of course, that gives you an outline of why we're feuding anyway. The message from the lawyer was the last we heard from Alexander, he never got in contact again & we couldn't find him, we tried but he didn't want himself nor you to be found" she took a breath "if we could ask you Shannon, what you know?"

Shannon took a deep breath "well, I don't really remember a lot, but we went to Stillwater, Pennsylvania. About 3 months before I turned 6 we thought he died in a car accident…"

Niall knew something must have happened to make Alexander be in New Orleans with Patricia, but he wasn't counting on his brother faking his own death "my brother let you believe that he had died?"

Shannon couldn't speak the answer, she just nodded "it was hard, I know my mother was devastated, about a year later, I had just turned 7 when she introduced me to MacDonald, as her friend, 6 months later they married"

"MacDonald, as in Jeremiah?" Rose queried, she saw the nod in answer.

This stunned the McLowry clan, Patrik couldn't believe it "you're telling us that Jeremiah, sorry MacDonald, married Joanne, actually married her?"

"Yes" Shannon nodded "they stayed married for a great many years"

"Take your family away" Angela whispered to herself

"Angela?" Patrik queried.

"Sorry, I just recall a heated tirade that Liam gave Alex at the hospital, saying that as he'd taken his family from him, he'd take his family away from him" Angela answered, she could never imagine they'd do such a thing though!

Niall was fuming, how could such a thing happen? Why didn't his brother reach out for help?! "If I can ask, when did they eventually split?"

"That's another story" Gibbs remarked "Shannon & I met right out of high school, he didn't like me at all, not that I liked him"

"You were military?" Patrik guessed

"I am a marine" Gibbs remarked

"Well, there'd be 2 things right off the bat that would have given you strikes with him then, one, you shared a name with his deceased little brother & two, Alexander served in the Royal Marines for a short time, so given his, well… attitude towards Alex, you being a marine would not have gone down well" Patrik remarked

Gibbs eyes widened, Shannon's father was a marine? British marine mind you, but a marine none the less, he couldn't believe it! He saw his wife was equally shocked at this news! "Good to know, he put up quite a big fight to the two of us getting married, but he didn't win. We married, had Kelly & were living in Washington. I got deployment orders for Desert Storm & we moved over to Oceanside, California" he took a breath, this would be hard to speak about, but his wife was dealing with so much that he needed to say this, he had hold of her & placed his other hand on his girl's leg in comfort. "While I was overseas Shannon witnessed a murder, they were in witness protection & one day the drug cartel tried to take them out, their protective agent died in the crash.."

Rose listened, she saw her cousins, nephews, nieces that had filtered in were doing likewise, she wondered where this was leading to, but she didn't think it was going anywhere good.

Gibbs took another calming breath "MacDonald somehow managed to use that accident to ferret away Shannon & Kelly, and replace them in the accident with dead bodies. I was given the news that my family had died, when the man had in fact kidnapped them" he finished in a bite.

Jeffrey's eyes widened, that bastard! He saw other faces mirroring that disgust! "If I can ask.."

Gibbs swallowed, he knew the question & hated this answer!

"He told them that I'd died on deployment, faked a death certificate & dog tags, he moved them to Houston, claimed to them that he'd had a falling out with Joanne & wanted a fresh start. He'd had them away at one of his properties by the time I made it home, he played the mournful father part extremely well, he'd been the one to ID the bodies & well, lets just say he got away with it. What I didn't know though was that Shannon fell pregnant just before I left, she had Phoenix soon after getting to Houston" Gibbs remarked, he had to finish on a positive note, well as positive as he could manage.

Angela was trying to wrap her head around what she was hearing, it was worse than anything she'd heard before!

Niall was so furious with Jeremiah it wasn't funny, if he'd been alive he'd after ripped the man's limbs apart, he just might do that to Liam! There was one thing he was curious at though "if you don't mind me asking, how was his interactions with you Kelly & your brother?"

Kelly felt like she'd been put on the spot, she saw her parents give her a look to say they'd answer, but she thought it best to do it herself "he was ok with me, but he treated my brother quite badly"

"He dotted on Kelly a fair bit, but he shunned Phoenix" Shannon added

Niall shared a look with his siblings before speaking "well, I can only guess here, but I would say that is being your son reminded him of Alex, we've seen an image of him, and his complexion, hair are his grandfather's"

Shannon shared a look with her husband, they had both always thought their boy was his father, I mean you couldn't get more alike! She could see he wasn't really accepting this comparison well "our son actually looks likes Jethro"

Angela nodded "I'm sure he does, but there are similarities add those to the fact that Jethro reminded him of Alex and well…"

Gibbs really didn't know what to say, his boy had always been him, just with Shan's hair & now these people were telling him that he actually looked liked his grandfather on his other side? He didn't know how to react to that! He'd move them on "His treatment of Phoenix is what led to Shannon trying to get him & Kelly away from Houston, and about 8 years ago she managed. The pair of them moved to DC, Kelly was 21, he was 13"

"Just under a year ago we all managed to reconnect & find each other, and it was all thanks to Kelly" Shannon said with a small smile at her girl, she was glad to see one in return, her husband even smiled at that.

Gibbs gave his girls both a smile at that, he took a breath "during our reconnection I came across a man named Trent Quinn, MacDonald had hired him as his head of security, he had a beef against me for a different matter. During the reconnection we found MacDonald's body, he was killed by Quinn. We did however also loose Joanne to Quinn" he finished trying to clear his lump in his throat.

Patrik listened intently, this whole thing was sounding unbearably heartbreaking, he just couldn't believe what he was hearing & with every sentence his hand was getting itchier & itchier, he was ready to rip Liam limbs right apart, and that was just for starters.

Niall let out a sigh "I am so sorry, she was a lovely lady"

"Thank you" Shannon whispered

Gibbs nodded in thanks as well before he moved on "about 3 months ago we moved to Naples, Italy so that our son could follow his dream & play football."

Angela knew Phoenix had been playing for Napoli SC, she'd seen the images, it brought a smile to her face, there was something she wanted to share but knew it should wait until another time. A time when hopefully the family had been reunited. There was one thing she was curious about "and how did you end up there too Anthony?"

"Myself, Ziva & Tim all moved to Naples with them." Tony stated but felt he should expand "I've worked with Gibbs at NCIS for over 10 years"

That surprised Rose "you worked with Jethro for more than 10 years, you didn't know the connection though?"

"Not at all" Tony remarked "but, I think I ahh… actually met Gibbs thanks to a meeting with…..Alexander" he finished with a glance around the room, and as he expected all of their eyebrows shot up in surprise.

"What do you mean Anthony?" Jeffrey asked, what did that mean?

"Well, I had just finished a stint with the Philadelphia PD & was in Atlantic City trying to work out where to go, I think I bumped into him in a bar & spoke to him about my options, either California or Baltimore. He basically helped me decide on Baltimore, and that's where I met Gibbs, he then offered me a job on his team at NCIS, in DC & we've worked together ever since" Tony explained quickly.

"And you never suspected the link?" Angela queried.

"No, I didn't really know or what to know about my family background" Tony said with a small bite, but he directed it at his uncle Jeffrey.

Jeffrey dropped his head, he took a breath before looking up to his nephew "I'm sorry Anthony, I know there's a lot that happened, a lot of which you'll struggle to forgive us for but for the record your uncle Clive had a change of heart with your mother. When your grandparents died he try to make contact but… I guess she couldn't forgive us for abandoning her. She wouldn't take his calls, so he let it be, then she….passed…."

Tony saw something on his uncle's face that he couldn't recognise, not that he knew the man too well, he'd barely had contact with him, he'd only really dealt with his uncle Clive.

Rose patted her cousin's leg "let's deal with all of this later, let's just deal with what we have to, get Alex, Jacob & Phoenix back. We will then deal with everything else, yes?"

Jeffrey swallowed his emotions as he nodded his agreement, Rose was right, deal with what they had to & then they'd, he would deal with everything else.

Niall thought it was best to move things along "how long ago was Phoenix taken?"

Gibbs looked at his watch & gave an internal moan "just over 24 hours ago" he whispered, it had been a whole day "and he was taken by force, by Loch & Jethro Lancert"

"You are certain?" Patrik asked, he wanted to be sure.

"Yes" Gibbs growled "we have video proof, their identifies were confirmed by Delilah Fielding"

Vance wasn't sure if what he was about to say was a good idea or not but he had to let it known "we have Jethro Lancert in custody in Naples"

Niall shifted his gaze instantly to the man "you have him in custody? If I may ask how did you manage that?" whilst the feud had died down, he of course still knew the main players on the other side, and which ones were tame & which ones to be careful of & both Loch & Jethro were nothing but tame!

Vance shared a look with Gibbs, he knew he was the calmer of the pair but didn't want to talk about it unless Gibbs wanted him to & by the look on the man's face he knew what going to come, he was going to talk & not so calmly.

"They came after my son in the middle of the night in a dark car park. Phoenix was with an NCIS Agent, a marine & a naval officer, all three of whom ended up in hospital trying to fend off the dozen men that attacked them. Our agent managed to alert us through his distress alarm, Agent McGee here, along with Kelly & 5 marines were at the scene within minutes & saw 2 SUV's take off, the marine that was with Phoenix, a Captain Michael Bond, Myles' brother (he motioned to the young man) managed to pull Jethro Lancert out of one of the SUV's before they took off. Michael's actions allowed his fellow marines to run him down, unfortunately he ended up in a very bad situation. He was shot twice, run over & sustained multiple injuries from the initial ambush, he is listed as critical by the hospital. They just weren't able to keep Loch from taking Phoenix" Gibbs explained, he'd started with determination but finished in an absolute whisper.

Angela had watched Myles since Jethro had mentioned him, the pain on the young man's face was evident, it seemed that this was more than just a marine doing his duty "your brother cared for Phoenix" she remarked quietly

"My family & I all care greatly for Phoenix, as well as Kelly and her parents. My brother Michael went out with Kelly during college, we were around MacDonald a fair bit unfortunately. Never liked him, told him and his goons to back off every single day, even told Loch & that Jethro to back off once each. My brother fought Loch with every fibre of his being when he tried to take Phoenix, and I'll fight anyone to get him back from the assholes!" Myles vented, he was glad he could finally say something!

Patrik could hear the venom in the voice, but also heard the determination & care for Phoenix in the words as well, he turned "Connor, call Susan for me, she's in Rome, ask her to get to Naples as quickly as she can, but tell her take an extra large security detail with her. I don't want her going anywhere alone" he turned back to both Myles & Gibbs "my daughter is one of the best trauma surgeons in Europe, she's currently in Rome at a conference, whatever assistance she can give Michael, she will. Where can we direct her to?"

Myles eyes widened, these people were offering this? They didn't even know Mike!

Gibbs was surprised but he wasn't going to say no to extra help for Mike "NSA Naples base hospital, she'll need to ask for Colonel Ian Marks, and submit to a full security check" he wasn't going to let anyone, ANYONE into the base without being checked, his father was there, not to mention Mike & besides that, he had a duty to the base personnel to keep them safe.

"I understand, I wouldn't have it any other way" Patrik nodded.

"I'll make sure Susan knows the score" Connor nodded as he dialled his phone.

Vance pulled his cell out of his pocket & texted Megan about the guest she would soon expect, a guest that apparently would be arriving with personal security & lots of it.

Patricia had been watching her brother this entire time, but her mind suddenly clicked on something "Captain Michael Bond?" she queried, she then took a stronger look at the army officer in front of her, the name tag was "BOND" too "you don't mean?"

"My brother works on the Fit for Future taskforce with you ma'am" Myles nodded

"How bad is he?" Patricia asked, she really liked Michael.

"He's not good" was all the reply that Myles gave her, but he shifted gaze to Kelly before adding "he'll fight though, he'd never let those bastards beat him"

"No he wouldn't" Shannon agreed quietly into her girl's ear.

Patricia couldn't believe it, Michael knew these people, and apparently for a long while! Her mind seemed to have cast back to a conversation she'd had with the man when they'd first formed the taskforce "Michael told me he'd experienced a troublesome welcome to New Orleans on his first visit when he was a fresh-faced marine just starting out, something about problems with a, and excuse the language, but a step-asshole of a man?" something gave her the feeling this was relevant.

Myles gave a smirk & small chuckle, he shared a knowing look with Kelly before he replied "that would be MacDonald, or specifically one of his goons, which I now know was Jethro Lancert. Mike's very first deployment out of college was out of NOLA, Kelly & I myself went down for the weekend before he left. I was ambushed in our hotel by him demanding & threatening I take Kelly back to Houston. I refused, when he threatened to ruin our lives I still refused, he left us alone for the duration of our weekend, but I saw him again at a symposium that Kelly was attending, he was there threatening Alexander, I tried to get closer but the day was ending & I lost them in the crowd"

"That was where I learnt the code from him that we used to decipher the exchange between Loch & the people he had working for him" Kelly added quietly.

"How long ago was this?" Rose queried

"Roughly 8-9 years ago" Myles answered

"Alex was in an argument with Jethro Lancert in New Orleans that long ago?" Angela asked, she wasn't quite understanding it, she shared a look with her brothers, this wasn't getting any better, none this was good at all.

"A very heated discussion, it even got physical at the end, Alexander had thrown him against a wall. I tried to get closer in case Jethro tried to retaliate, but that's when all the students got out & I needed to make he didn't get near Kelly" Myles answered

Patricia was finding this very difficult to hear, the man she only knew as 'dad' had a life she knew nothing about, what's more, he seemed to do it right where they lived? "You saw him in New Orleans?" she asked Kelly

"Ah yea, he was one of the lecturers at the symposium" Kelly answered, this was really awkward!

Patricia was finding this really hard to cope with, but she'd felt eyes on her for a while & couldn't let it go any longer, she needed to ask something "how long have you known about me?"

Tony felt the room tense up yet again as he took a breath "only a few days, I was visited at work by 2 men employed by Loch who had fake INTERPOL ID's, they claimed you had disappeared and wanted to make sure I didn't know where you were. It was a complete shock for me, but as soon as I saw a picture of you I knew you were my sister, we look too much alike" he finished with a smile.

Patricia gave a small smile at that, they did look very much alike "they never told you anything?" she asked quietly, hoping only he would hear her & that he'd understand what he meant.

"I always thought I was only child, nothing was ever mentioned, by anyone" Tony added with a sidewards glance to his uncle Jeffrey.

Jeffrey felt his nephew's gaze "we never knew Patty was pregnant with you, the first child we thought she had was Anthony. My parents never said anything about it either, do we know if they knew?"

"They did, both sets of grandparents knew" Tony nodded

"Both sets?" Jeffrey queried, a thought came to him "Are you full blood siblings?" he asked extremely surprised.

Tony could see his sister looking at him as well "we are"

Jeffrey's eyes widened in absolute shock, he stood up & started pacing, he had a really issue with this & he wished his brother was around to talk to, or better yet, his father!

"Jeffrey, now isn't the time" Niall cautioned, he had a hunch what Jeffrey reacting to.

Tony thought he knew what his uncle was reacting to "not a fan of my father" he wasn't either!

"You father was a self-centred spoilt brat of boy, his father was a money-chasing ego-driven pompass man, he wanted his son's union with Patty so he could harness our family name & fortune for his own business and personal gain" Jeffrey spat.

Tony consider that statement wouldn't far off how he felt of his father, except his father had no money to draw on anymore, he just nodded in agreement with his uncle.

"Perhaps we can discuss this later" Angela suggested, this wasn't the right time for this discussion, the poor girl knew nothing about her real father & didn't think it was all that fair to have this as an introduction.

Tony nodded, he turned his attention back to his sister "We started looking for you then & there, we pulled in the NOLA office, we soon realised that the 2 men were fakes and they were soon discovered dead, by Loch's hand. We discovered you'd taken leave from the taskforce to go home to see Jake & by the time we got someone there you'd all left the hospital. We tracked Jake & Alex to his place in Clermont Harbour, when the agents got there it had been turned upside-down, but was empty. We finally footage of you at Houston's airport & then Agent Pride here saw you in the centre of Belfast. That's when we decided to come here" it was a lot of information to take in, but he wanted to get through it as quickly as he could, with as much detail as he could.

Vance had been watching & listening to everything, he'd tried to keep abreast of all the comings & goings in the room, there were numerous people that would come & go, he figured they were all sons & daughters of the people in this room. He was so focused on the conversation that he was completely taken when his phone rang that it took him a a few moments to answer it "Vance" he answered as he stepped further into a corner of the room to not disturb the discussion going on.

Vance listened intently & his eyes widened, he looked directly at Gibbs who was now watching him, giving him a nod before he spoke words that was probably very welcomed "Phoenix's GPS chip is back online"

A/N: Well, that was a lot of information for everyone to take in again.. and they'll certainly be a lot to talk about once this mess is sorted out, but could they finally be finding a destination as to where Nix and the others are?
