Kid Icarus: Meteor Storm

After discovering a device that could attract meteors that Duke Cass built 1,000 years ago, Boss Cass decides to build his own beacon that could attract meteors and attempt Duke Cass' plan to create a new ice age. Can Ty and Pit stop Boss Cass from destroying the Earth with his improved version of Duke Cass' Meteor Beacon?

2. Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Premonition

(Palutena's Skypalace)

Pit and Palutena were in Palutena's throne room as Pit was explaining what he saw in his dream.

Palutena- Oh dear! This doesn't sound good at all!

Pit- You know of this?

Palutena- Yes, I do, Pit. That dream you had actually was a mission I sent Icarus on 1,000 years ago. Like how there is a Bowser's Team in this time, there was a team of villains during the original Super Mario Brothers' Team era. Slicor, the King of the Koopa back them also tried to make a team in an attempt to fight Marco and the others.

Pit- I think I remember Kyrin mentioning that.

Palutena- Anyway, one of them was a Cassowary named Duke Cass. Who is actually similar to Boss Cass. In fact, Duke Cass was just as much of Simba the Tasmanian Tiger's nemesis at Boss Cass is to Ty the Tasmanian Tiger's nemesis. One time, he decided to act separate from Slicor's Team to use a machine that could attract meteors from space and cause them to crash into the Earth.

Pit- I know meteors can demolish things better than a wrecking ball, but that doesn't make sense to just cause meteors to fall in random locations.

Viridi- Actually Pit, meteors can do more damage to the environment than you think.

Then Pit turned around and saw Viridi was in the Skypalace.

Pit- Viridi?

Palutena- Well, this is an unexpected surprise. What brings you here, Viridi?

Viridi- Dark Pit also experienced Icarus' mission to stop Duke Cass' Meteor Beacon. Can't be a coincidence.

Pit- Ok…but what do you mean meteors do more damage than I think?

Viridi- The impact of just one meteor falling from the sky can cause tremendous damage to the environment around the area like burning the land withing a certain radius of where it impacted into ash. No relation to the Poke'mon trainer. But they can also cause even hazardous damage as well as physical. The smoke and soot from the impact can create clouds that can cause a deep freeze in the area.

Pit- Meteors can actually do that?

Viridi- Pit, I'm the goddess of nature. Who better knows about dangers to nature than me?

Palutena- She's telling the truth, Pit. In fact, Viridi was also there during Duke Cass' little attempt to freeze the planet over. And if Icarus is sending you and Dark Pit his memories through your dreams, there must've been a good reason for it. For now, I think you should head for Buramudgee and locate Ty.

Pit- Sure thing, Lady Palutena!
