Nate and Sasha were a mess. They are quiet and loud. Yin and Yang. Wild and Simple. They were made for each other but that's what Nate loves the most about. She can make him laugh. They didn't meet in a normal way like brothers and how they met their loved ones.

*Flashback*

Aaliyah and Andrew were taking the boys to see some friends and wanted to see if the boys could make some friends also. Once they got to the Lookout the four boys stopped and looked at the place.

"Mom, your friends live here?" asked a young AJ. She nodded yes.

"Okay I need all four of you to be on your best behavior." said Aaliyah.

"Yes mom." the four said.

"That means you too Andrew."

"Hey, I'm always good." Andrew said. Aaliyah started to laugh. Then the next thing they saw were pups running out of the place. With the adults behind them. Then a big dog almost the same size as their dad walked up to them.

"Hey Aaliyah, hey Andrew." he said. Then he looked at the boys. "Wow Aaliyah, your boys are growing fast."

"Thanks Chase. They are just growing too fast."

"Hey where did everyone go?" they all heard. Then that's when he saw a small all white pup with lavender marks all over her body and with big blue eyes. She was running but crashed into Nate. They both rolled into the backyard and fell into a hole. Everyone follows.

"Sasha, are you okay?" asked her father.

"Nate are you alright?" asked Andrew.

"Yes" they both said.

"Sorry. My ribbon got in front of my face." the pup said.

"It's okay."

*End of Flashback*

Not the best way to meet one another. Every mission that included my boys, Nate was teamed up with Sasha. She is more clumsy than normal when she is near him. Which he already knew. Her brothers MJ and Joey wanted him away from her. It was hard. Sasha felt like she was part of his life. The shine out of the darkness he hides in. He went to visit her at the Lookout which was a bad idea. MJ and Joey were there. Once again you would think since MJ is dating Chris, you would think MJ would back up. Wrong. No one wants to do the Jupitar and Kevin way. By being a secret until something happens. Ever since then no one wants to go through with that idea or thought. Sadly sometimes it happens. At one point Nate would see Sasha at night but nothing will happen. He just doesn't come around when it's that time. He wants to but can't. So he just stays where he belongs. Which is in the shadows.

"Nate!" yelled Star. Nate was sitting in the dark. It was an old office that belonged to Officer Mike. That room had been empty for years so Nate claimed it as his quiet room. Away from his family. Star was looking for him everywhere. "Mom, have you seen Nate?"

"Sorry sweetie, I haven't. He might be in the quiet room. Try there." Aaliyah said. Their mother doesn't go in that room. She may have moved on from her past but there were too many memories in that one room. She doesn't know why Nate loves that room. So Star went by the door and slowly walked in. She found her brother who was just looking at the wall in his own world. Star can tell that he was in one of his moods so she left him alone.

"I know I'm going to have to tell her but I have training to do. So I will worry about that later. The Adventure City police test was two days away. With support from Adventure Bay, friends and family all the young police K-9s were ready to go. Also with the help of Liberty in the city as well. Teaming up with Liberty on missions is a lifetime adventure. Non stop training for them all to the point they had to travel to the city and back. Chris went back to the Lookout and laid by her truck because she fell asleep in uniform right on the ground. The stress was real and only getting worse. Jupitar went to the Lookout since Kevin and his brothers were training. She wanted to give them some quiet time when they got back home. Kevin told her she didn't have to but she wanted for him and his siblings.

"Jupitar, what are you doing here?" asked Sasha. Rocky and Zuma saw her as well. Jupitar's pups fell out of her truck and ran to Rocky.

"I came to stay here for a while." She said as she got down herself. Rocky looked at her thinking the worst. "No dad. Me and Kevin didn't get into a fight. I told him that he needs peace and quiet until the test. He fussed with me saying that I didn't have to do that. It's for all of them, even Chris. She's there now. Mother Aaliyah told her that she can stay with them."

"Jupitar, that's very kind of you. Kevin is very lucky to have you as his wife." Sasha said with a smile. Jupitar backed up. "You know that it will be a wedding soon with you guys. You are also calling Ms. Aaliyah mother."

"Sasha shut up will you."

"OOOOO momma said a bad word." Her pups said and ran off to find Cleo's son Sebastian. Cleo has four kids and the oldest is 15 which is her son Owen. Second is her daughter Ryan who is 11. Third was Sebastian, age 3. The youngest was Jeremiah who is only 7 months old. Cleo and Jayden knew that it was a big age gap between Ryan and Sebastian. Jayden is a happy father and enjoys his time with his kids. Jayden has the two oldest ones with him at the police station helping out. Cleo had younger ones. Sebastian loves to play with Jupitar's pups. They all call him lil Cleo because of his love for the pups. Ryder and Katie have a son as well, the same age as Cleo's daughter. Kim was dating Carlos and now having a child of their own soon. Alice adopted a child who also is the same age as Cleo's daughter. Monty and Ryan are the leaders of the gene of the Paw Patrol and Ninja Pups. Ryder's son Monty is the leader of the Paw Patrol while Ryan is the leader of the Ninja Pups.

"I didn't say a bad word. Crazy kids." Jupitar said.

"Leave the kids alone Jupitar." said Everest. "They ran to Sebastian already." Then Sebastian ran out and is now chasing Jupitar. The pups got Sebastian during bath time. Trixie and Cleo ran after them while Wendy and Azul were going to stop them from a different angle. Penny ran out to get away from Crystal and Brittani.

"Kid and pups in the tub!" Cleo yelled. All of them were crying. "Cry me a river will you." They all laughed. So far it's only Jupitar and Kevin's kids. Not knowing that Stan were about to become a parent himself. The day before the test, Nate went to the Lookout to see Sasha. Well she invited him over. She was waiting for him outside. Once he was in sight she ran to him.

"Hey Nate." She said with a big smile. Not thinking as she rubbed her head under his. Nate didn't mind since she has been doing that for some time now. In return he kissed her on the forehead. "I wanted to give you a good time to relax for a bit before the big test."

"Thanks Sasha. You didn't have to do this."

"But…"

"That's what we said." said two voices. They both turned their heads and saw MJ and Joey. Nate rolled his eyes. Sasha doesn't understand why her brothers do this to her. All the time.

"Can you two leave us alone, please?" Sasha asked nicely. They nodded no. "And why not?"

"Not until he leaves," said Joey.

"He has a name." said Nate with an attitude now. MJ looked at him.

"Yea, we know and watch your attitude." MJ said as he walked closer to Nate. Joey was able to move Sasha out the way. Nate is not a fighter and definitely not to family friends. Nate would never fight anyone from the Paw Patrol and/or the Ninja Pups. His parents taught them respect and being a police dog who has to do your part. Remain calm. Nate in then out.

"I'm only here for Sasha. Not to cause any trouble." Nate said.

"Well, you are causing trouble just by being with our sister," said MJ. Sasha moved Joey out the way and jumped in front of Nate.

"Sasha, I have to go. Thanks for the invite." Nate started to walk away. Sasha ran after him but was stopped by MJ.

"Let go of me MJ. I want to go with him. You're dating Chris so why are you on my case?"

"WE DON'T WANT YOU NEAR THAT GLOOMY FREAK!" They both yelled. Nate heard them by afar. Now he understood the reason behind it.

"Why would you say that about him?" Sasha asked almost about to cry. Marshall told his sons to stop pushing Nate away. They are going to hurt their sister. He was right. Everest even told them. Now it's too late. Sasha ran off. Everest saw her and so did Kari. Everest signaled her to go get Marshall so she ran off. Sasha ran to Jupitar, Blue and Penny since she knew that they were dating Nate's brothers.

"Sasha, what happened?" asked Blue. Sasha was busy crying that she can't talk. The three looked at each other until Everest walked in with Marshall. Marshall tapped his daughter on her shoulder. Sasha looked up and ran in his arms. Everest looked at the girls.

"We don't have a clue," said Jupitar.

"Thank you girls," said Everest.

"It might have to do with Nate." mumbled Penny as she went back to sleep. Marshall was outside with her. Sasha fell asleep in his arms.

"Anything Marshall?" asked Everest as she walked out.

"The boys once again. That's the only thing I found from all that crying."

"Let me get them."

"I'm taking Sasha inside." So Everest went to go find her other two kids. Once she did they were laughing and enjoying their time for the test to support the team.

"MJ. Joey."

"Hi mom." they said.

"What did you do this time?"

"What do you mean? Asked MJ.

"Sasha ran into the Lookout crying her eyes out." Everest told them.

"MJ. MJ. Come in. NOW!" Chris said. "Actually, no. You and Joey to the police station." Everest looked at them and called Marshall. So they went to the station. Aaliyah can't stand that room but she was in there for her son and so was Andrew. MJ and Joey walked in. Chase had to hold Chris back before attacking her own boyfriend. So did Jayden, Owen and Ryan since they had the rest of them. Calvin was about to go on a date with Penny. After he found MJ and Joey were picking on his brother. Calvin remained at the station to be there for his brother. Andrew walked out and looked at the boys.

"What did you say to him?" Andrew asked. MJ and Joey were quiet. "What did you say?" MJ and Joey backed up.

"Father let me go please." Chris said. "I will be fine." Chase just looked at her and let her go. Chris walked up to her boyfriend. "MJ follow me please." He followed. Then they looked at Joey. Chase knew that if you separate them you will get an answer. Marshall, Everest and Chase smiled at Andrew.

"Her daughter is smart Chase." said Aaliyah when she walked out the room. Joey looked at her. "So Joey, I heard that you said some horrible things about Nate." Marshall and Everest looked at him. Then they saw Chris running out. Star went after her. Marshall went to MJ and found him in a corner laid down.

"Whatever she said to you must have been heart broken. I guess whatever you said about Nate has you double thinking." said Marshall. MJ looked at his father and told him what happened. "MJ, I told you and your brother this the last time. You are going to hurt Sasha but I guess you two didn't listen to me. Now let me guess, Chris ended things with you because of this mess." MJ just had his head down. So Marshall took his tag away. "You are staying home, no missions, no anything until you get your act together." Marshall walked out the room. Everest took Joey's tag off as well and gave it to Chase. Now it's up to Monty and Chris to see if they can come back on the team. For right now they are on punishment until they apologize to Sasha and Nate. So the next day, the young K-9s lined up. MJ and Joey weren't there. They had to watch Jupitar's puppies. Sasha walked up to Nate.

"Nate." He looked at her. "I'm sorry."

"For what? If you are saying sorry for what your brothers said about me. I don't want to hear it out of your mouth." Nate started. Sasha backed up. Nate pulled her in and put his paw on top of hers. "I want to hear it from them. Not you. Sasha, you can't apologize for the problems that they cause between us. Also the damage that MJ did to Chris. They both looked at her. Chris looked calm but angry on the inside. His protection after his sister caused all of this.

*Flashback*

"Why MJ Why?" asked Chris. MJ looked at her.

"She's my baby sister Chris. I want to protect myself from harm."

"So you are calling Nate harm. You know that she likes him, right?

"I know that but I don't want her…"

"To get hurt but you have to let her grow. MJ she's not that same pup that we all knew. Sasha is growing and you and Joey have to understand that."

"She may be growing but I'm still going to protect from the gloomy clown." Chris's mouth dropped. MJ saw her face but stood his ground. "Yes, that's what we called him. A gloomy freak. That's what he is."

"I heard you. I also remember when you used to call me a control freak."

"That doesn't count. That was before I had feelings for you."

"That counts MJ. It does." Chris had tears in her eyes. "Back then that was when…" Tears were now coming down.

"Chris when what?" She just walked forward and kissed him. Once she stepped back Chris had a smile but was tearing harder. "Chris, what's wrong?"

"Back then I discovered that I was in love with you." MJ stood there shocked. "Yeah but after you called me a control freak. I started to stay away from you and focus on my work. Think about it."

*End of Flashback*

"Sasha, I care for you and everything. I know your brothers don't like me but I don't care. As long as I have you I'm happy." Sasha hugged him and Nate kissed her on the forehead. "Let me pass this test and we will continue.

"Do you best Nate."

"Will do Sasha. Will do." And the test started from there. It was getting out of control at some points. That the older groups had to jump in. Aaliayh's kids were doing wonderful and so was Chris. In one of the routes, Chris dropped to the ground and couldn't continue. Nate found her.

"Nate, don't worry about me. You have to go on." She said,

"No, we are a team and we have to remain together. I will help you." So they continued slowly. At the end of the second to last test all of the young ones return but not Chris and Nate. Marshall was giving everyone water. Well also hitting Rocky with the water cannon. Nate and Chris appeared. Skye ran to Chris. Chris was injured and sprained her paw so she couldn't continue. The judges were watching everything. The test continued for the whole day. The next day will be when they pick the 10 young dogs that will be going to Adventure City. The day ended and each group stayed at the Adventure Bay hotel. Duke checked Chris's paw while Nate was with Sasha outside. His siblings were hanging out with the other K-9s while Calvin went to go see Penny. Outside Nate and Sasha were walking around.

"Nate, what if you go to Adventure City? I wouldn't be able to see you anymore." Sasha said.

"I actually thought about it during all my training."

"You did?"

"Yeah. Sasha, would you like to come with me to Adventure City if I get picked."

"Me?"

"Yes. I would like for you to come with me."

"Why not one of your siblings?"

"Kevin has to move Jupitar and his kids, Calvin wants to continue life with Penny and he will be uncomfortable. AJ is training with Blue. Star is daddy's princess so she doesn't want to go far. So I thought about you coming with me. If you don't want to, then I understand."

"Nate, I will be honored to go with you to the city. It will be a new start for the both of us. Also since I'm a ninja pup. I will be able to help everyone out with some training skills that I know." Nate had a smile on his face and got close to her. "Nate, are you okay?"

"I'm fine. I love it when you make me happy." Sasha smiled at him again and licked his cheek. Nate looked at her and just smiled. "Love you also Sasha." The next day, the results came in. Everyone in the city was there. Everest had MJ and Joey with her.

"Good Morning everyone. This wonderful group did a great job yesterday and now here are the young K-9s that are going back to Adventure City with us." Liberty moved forward and named each one. Chris, Calvin, Kevin, Nate, AJ and Star were standing there nervous.

"And the last one. From the Adventure Bay police department." Liberty started. There were only five of them since Aaliyah was the only pup growing up in that police station. It was only her kids. Jupitar, Sasha, Penny and Blue moved forward. Aaliyah and Andrew were waiting and Chase was next to Aaliyah. His daughter may not be part of the police department but Officer Kyle put her in the system for the test.

Nate!" yelled Liberty. Nate's mouth dropped. Calvin, Kevin, AJ and Star were jumping for joy. Aaliyah and Andrew ran to hug their son. The police department cheered for him. Celebrating Nate getting picked for the transfer everyone got together for a party. Nate tapped on the microphone to get everyone's attention. They looked at him.

"Thank you everyone for being here. I honestly never thought that I was going to get the spot at all. Thanks to my parents. They believed in me when I doubted myself. Uncle Chase for the support and the extra training. Kevin, Calvin, AJ and Star for pushing me to actually get me to pay attention during all the training that we had to do. Chris for just being herself and a pain. She got me up at 6 in the morning to do yoga." Chase and Skye shook their heads. "Also thank you to my um…my wonderful girlfriend Sasha for just having faith in me and telling me that I can do anything if I put my heart and mind into it. Now willing to come with me to Adventure City and starting something new. Together as one." Everyone cheered. Marshall and Everest knew that if Nate got picked Sasha would go with him. Sasha ran and attacked him with a hug. "Sasha not the attack hugs. Those are painful." She kissed him on the lips in front of everyone.

"Trust me you will live." She giggled at him and got off. Nate blushed and just turned his head. "You will live."
