Chapter 48

In the middle of the Re-Estize city, in the castle where the king lives, a meeting like no other was taking place. And the clear objective of it was to deal with the sudden incursion of the empire on their lands. Or what they believed was their land. The nobles and, most importantly, the crown prince were furious about such an incident. Yet, they seemed to forget that they weren't really all that innocent either. Still, the arguing only brought concern to king Ramposa III, who could only stare at the barrage of insults from one side to the other. A sight he was getting very used to.

"This is an attack on our sovereignty! The empire should hear about this!" a nameless noble said.

Yeah! Let's show those bastards!

Let's bring the full might of the kingdom!

Kill them all!

The noble smiled at the reaction and stared at the crown prince who nodded at him while holding a grin on his face.

"Should we stand still while the entire empire mocks us?! Should we run with our tails between our legs as they violate our borders? No, sir! I say no!" He continues as many nobles there replied with cheers and nods.

"A war they're looking for! And a war should they have!"

Hear! Hear! Hear!

The screams and shouting of the faction under the crown prince couldn't be stopped, as those who were opposed of such action, by reason that only they were concerned about, like their own reputation and power, and not by what could it mean to the nation, they remained silent. They weren't really against it, or at least not entirely, but it was a battle of influence. The faction of the loyalist, led by the crown prince, was gaining more power in court, and those who were under the influence of the king, and some other figures, were losing ground. That's why they were pushing against such a notion.

"You look for glory, that's all, lord Coxsmall! As if it was something you could find between dead bodies!" A lord exclaimed from within the opposition. "But then again, is seems as if you were lacking in some other aspect. If you're so serious about war, then go and fight it yourself! If you have the balls! But then again, your family name does us a great service in showing us the type of man you're!"

"How dare you!"

The insults never stopped, and while some of them were entertaining to hear, it was clear it the meeting was going nowhere. The king sighed deeply, as he wondered when did things go sour to him. My rule has been never good, but I never thought it would lead to this situation. He thought, trying to keep himself from falling into the despair of depression. The crown prince noticed it and smiled, as he knew that there was no way to stop what it already started. So, with that in mind, he stood up as everyone went silent once more.

"My countrymen, it is time for us to leave behind our difference and doubt. Our kingdom needs us to be together and strong! The empire, cowardly attacked our home. That's with no doubt. And the time has come for us to move forward and end this pestilence that is the Empire of Baharuth!" Prince Barbro said, as his voice echoed the chamber.

Barbro stared at them as his smug face was not showing any sign of intelligence at all. Yet, in his mind, he believed his own delusion of grandeur. The idea, or dream, was to win the war against the empire, and take part in their lands, and use the victory to take the crown for himself. The nobles would all bend down to him, and he would rule with an iron fist, setting his name in stone for all time. The prince was not a smart man, and neither were the people following him. Still, fool people dream just like everyone else. Sadly.

"Father! You once told me I must do my duty and protect my country and people, and the time has come for me to do just that. And with your blessing, I will raise an army capable of defeating the empire and show them we are not to be challenged!"

The king stared at his son wondered if it would be the right choice to give him such power. Yet he knew there was nothing else he could do. The empire's aggression cannot go unanswered. There was only one choice, one direction he could take, and he hoped that it was the right one. Otherwise, it would lead to the downfall of the Re-Estize kingdom. And he honestly thought that maybe the war would end up just like previous ones.

"So be it… if this is the only option we have, then there is no other way but to prove the empire we aren't weak," the king said, as the loyalist faction could only rejoice by what was coming. The prince Barbro could almost see it. The crown on his head, a world on his palms, and a destiny to be fulfilled. This day will be remembered forever! Barbro thought with glee as he raised his hands into the air as if he was going to catch the sun on his palms. A rather strange gesture, but the idiots in the chamber stared in enjoyment.

Barbro smiled at his countrymen, especially those on his side, and boasted about his goals and accomplishment. Although he had none. There, in the center of a new era, he would raise from the group up to be something more.

"This day it's going to mark in our calendars as the day of the empire reckoning! We will fight and we will win!"

He exclaimed, so full of himself. And the surrounding nobles could only follow his tone. However, not all of them were so pleased by the news of the war. And one of them was the crown prince's younger brother. Zanac could only stare dumbfounded and irritated at the current state of the kingdom. He knew his brother was anything but smart, and Zanac also knew. The empire of Baharuth was not a mere kitten in terms of military power. Yes, they could outnumber them easily. But their troops would be mostly peasants and conscripts who have never held a sword in their life. While the empire had professional soldiers well trained and heavily armed. It was going to be a bloodbath.

Zanac quickly turned around and saw his sister, princess Renner, and shivered at the sight of the horrible smile that quickly vanished from sight.

Yes, this is going to be bad.

Zanac sighed, as he wondered how bad it would get if the empire and his kingdom actually fought. Regardless, he would have to make sure it survives.

That's all I can do for now.

Back in Nazarick, Galadriel stared at the reports in her hand and couldn't truly fathom a part of the information. Or, well, Galadriel never thought someone would be so stupid to do something so imprudent. It was something It never stop amazing her. Human stupidity and ignorance. The Re-Estize kingdom was just an obvious example of a corrupted government. Yet, it was of no matter to her anymore. It would just help her plans.

It would take the kingdom to gather their forces, and the empire as well. The Bloody Emperor has done a great job of dealing with the corrupted nobles. But sadly, it is just only a smokescreen. Rubedo is doing a great job of keeping it under control. Now is the time for us to move too.

Galadriel thought as she stared at the map.

"Um, Mare, it's going to be very busy soon," Galadriel whispered, as the sudden noise of her voice brought the attention of the Succubus next to her.

"My lady, speaking alone again?" Albedo asked with a soft smile on her face as she put the notes down.

"You know me too well now," Galadriel replied, smiling.

"You seem worried about Mare's mission."

"I am, but I know Mare will do a fantastic job. There are a lot of key points he must attack, and even for him, it would take a huge chunk of his MP to repeat such a spell multiple times. Or well, not really. Super-tier spell doesn't really use MP... But I don't want him to overwork himself to much."

Albedo smiled at his lady.

"Don't worry, my lady. His team would provide him with everything he needs in order to success. Demiurge and I have thought about this for a while. Besides the items, and help he will get, he is also using [The Master of all Magik]" Albedo said.

"Mare with [The Master of all Magik] staff. Uff, that is some serious firepower. I am truly excited to see the results of what that world item can give him. I believe Demiurge is also very excited to see the results of this," Galadriel said, as she remembered the time she used it.

I am not even a full caster, and it worked wonders with me. How powerful would Mare's spell be? I really want to see it.

Galadriel thought, as the first step of Operation Apocalypse was to create chaos on a political level. The empire of Baharuth and the Kingdom of Re-Estize were at each other's throats and it would then create a domino effect in the nearby kingdoms. The Slane Theocracy was in a shadow war of sorts. Galadriel agents were slowly creating a zealot uprising led by Nigun and one of the Black Scripture members, who belong in the Supreme One supremacy. They were slowly targeting the statues and the core structure of the Theocracy and claiming the Six Great Gods were nothing but usurpers and liars. They were getting more violent, and it has put the Slane Theocracy in a state of emergency, closing the borders so no one could get out, or get in until they fixed the problem. It won't happen, but it was their plan. Galadriel would wait for the success of her agents, if not. Well, she would do it by force.

Then there was the Robe Holy Kingdom, where she was letting Demiurge use the Beast tribe to create even more problems, as well, to allow the two girls. Ninya and Clementine to start a little of a cult if they could. Regardless, chaos was going to spread across the continent. And then, the second step was to create calamities around. Earthquakes, tornados, storms, whatever. In order to create truly an apocalyptic scenario of big propositions. Mare would do his best, and she knows it. And after that, the third step was her coming down from the heavens, in a matter of speaking. While the world was burning, Galadriel would come to save it. Or well, to claim it. And currently, they were at the beginning of stage two.

A lot of people will die but at the same time. This would also make our enemies get out of their caves. I am throwing a bone and a pretty big one. Let's see which dog bites it first.

"Albedo, I want Rubedo on notice if something happens. As well, as Cocytus, Shalltear and Aura to be ready in case a Dragon Lord emerges."

Albedo got serious, as she knew exactly what they were trying to do. While the plan was to conquer the continent, it was also a plan to kill the Dragon Lords, who were a danger to their plans. And while they could attack Argland Council. It would not give them what they wanted. The most powerful Dragonlords were hidden somewhere. And they wanted to kill them first. Remove the head and the body falls. We know a huge part of the Dragon Lord race, or what is left of it, resides in that place. But it's the big ones we are after. Don't underestimate them, they can have a World Item. Or something else we don't know. Tread carefully, and be fast and lethal. Those were the words Galadriel told the group in charge of killing the dragon lords.

Or as they called themselves. The Nazarick Dragon Hunter Party at the service of the Supreme One, Galadriel Melkor, leader of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Or, as Galadriel just calls them. The Draconic Hunters. A neat name if she could say so herself.

"Understood, my lady, in case of the worst-case scenario. Rubedo will be ready to deploy."

"Good."

Galadriel smiled as she then sighed. There was so much to do, and so little time. It almost felt too close to home. Galadriel thought somberly. The only thing she needed was an energy drink next to her, and a pile of loans ready to be dispatched.

I would like to say this is the hardest part of the plan but in reality. Once I have my empire, it would need to be run smoothly. I need to set a lot of things. Like healthcare insurance. A proper education system. Loans and a free-market business and so much more. I really want to make a good place to live.

"Ah, there is no end," Galadriel muttered, as she then felt Albedo's soft hands massaging her shoulders. Galadriel turned around and saw the beautiful smile of Albedo and couldn't help herself but relax her body. Galadriel's body knew those hands all too well. And the Demon Empress moaned at the feeling of those gently and soft fingers.

"There is no need to rush it, my love. You've been working so hard in the last week. You even canceled your afternoon nap. I am worried," Albedo said, as she continued to nuzzle her lady's sore neck. Well, Galadriel wasn't really sore, but the idea remained.

"I know, just… I want it to be perfect. No mistakes, I can't make mistakes… I am the leader of Ainz Ooal Gown. The master of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, charge with leading all of you. I am not allowed to make mistakes," Galadriel replied softly, as she took Albedo's hand and kissed it.

Albedo doesn't like to hear such words, since in her mind. Her lady wasn't capable of making mistakes. It wasn't something she thought about. It didn't exist. Yet, she remembered talking to Pandora's Actor about her lady's mental state, and the things she never knew about her. Albedo was truly attempting to see her lady as just more than an authoritative figure. More than just her lady and master. But as the woman she loves. A person, an individual who was far from perfect. It was hard to even contemplate yet, Albedo could see it.

Small cracks here and there. And in the privacy of their bedrooms. Albedo saw and felt a woman in need of love. A woman who sometimes just needed a hug, and words of comfort and understanding. Albedo has seen the softness of the Demon Empress. The small part, her beloved hides, or does not wish to acknowledge.

You'll see, my dear Overseer. Once you meet her, truly know her. You will also find more than just love. You will find purpose. And I hope you take care of her.

Albedo remembered those words from Pandora's Actor, and she had to agree. But she also could see someone strong. Albedo could see a person who, even after everything, remains there with them.

My lady is stronger and wiser than she realizes.

Albedo thought as she hugged her lady from behind, making Galadriel giggle as her wings tried to accommodate her succubus lover.

"Albedo, are you alright?" Galadriel asked, softly.

"Yes… because I am with you."

Galadriel felt those words, and she knew they were real. They meant something; it was not Albedo just saying how much she loved her like always. It was something deeper. It was Albedo truly showing her feelings in a way Galadriel never thought she could, but there she was. Embracing her, loving her. She was so lucky.

"And I am with you."

Galadriel enjoyed the warmth of the succubus, as she felt that a break could do her no wrong. She stood up from her chair and put her arms around Albedo, and gently her lips touched the overseer's own lips. Albedo squealed in joy at the flavor of her beloved taste of love. And Albedo enjoyed savoring it. There was no competition there. Galadriel just allowed Albedo to set up the lead of their tongues. She was just along for the ride. Their bodies smashed into each other as the kissing became more and more lustful.

Albedo roamed her lady gorgeous body, groping and squeezing. Her hands reached the backside of the Demon Empress, as Galadriel just moaned on the way. Albedo gropes her large and perfect ass. Galadriel giggled as she felt the spank on her backside.

I think Albedo is a butt lady.

Galadriel thought as she started to get more heat up, yet she wanted to have some privacy and besides. She wanted to feel something else.

"Albedo… take me to our chambers… and also, I want you to use your… tool," Galadriel said huskily as she licked Albedo's ear. Albedo, who was seconds away from losing control, was able to get a hold of herself as she wondered if her lady was meaning it. Her use of such a tool was only one time and it was the time she showed it to her lady. But now that her dear lady was asking for it, Albedo wondered what does it mean.

"My lady… are you sure about? I can't promise I would control myself… more," Albedo said, almost hissing as she was holding the beast inside of her.

"And I don't want you to control yourself," Galadriel whispered again as she brought Albedo's hand to her flat belly. Allowing the succubus to imagine the scene before them. It was an incredible one, filled with nothing but happiness. And Albedo wondered if she was in heaven. A rather funny thing to think about for someone in the negative karma. But there she was, Albedo lost in her fantasy and it was something she dreamed of every day.

"You know you want it… don't you?" Galadriel stared at those eyes of Albedo and she was sure it was enough for the succubus to lose herself, so deciding to just push her to the edge, then she brought Albedo's hand down below. To the part where miracles happened. The part where females reproduce their children. The future. Albedo's fingers started to feel her lady womb, and the succubus felt as if it was calling to her.

"Then… take me. Or should I ask Shalltear to do it?"

Galadriel then saw Albedo's eyes. They were pure gold, but as well. There was something more animalistic. Alright, this is new. I have never seen her this way. I think I let myself go too much. Shit, what did I do? Galadriel thought, amused by the look of Albedo. Then, she let a small squeal when Albedo picked her up in a bride style and carried her to their room. Albedo said nothing. She was only grunting like a beast with one purpose.

"Albedo, you know I was only heating up at the moment, right?" Galadriel said, a bit scare of the complete lack of common sense from Albedo. Well, Galadriel wasn't sure Albedo was there. It seemed more than an animal following nature.

Oh, shit… here we go again. Nicely done, Galadriel! You and your big fat mouth!

Those were Galadriel's last thoughts of the evening, as the moment Albedo closed the door behind them. And the maids and servants could hear only loud moans and shrieks of immense pleasure for hours. Galadriel would never forget that evening. And night and day. Since it would take Albedo more than just a few hours to achieve her goal. She would not stop until her beloved could not even think.

Meanwhile, far away, high in the sky, Mare sighed as he stared down. He could see almost the entire continent from where he was. It was a rather beautiful sight if he could admit it. But now, he had work to do. One that would require a lot of on his part. Yet, all of that was taken care of, as he has spent the last five minutes just buffing himself and preparing all of it.

"Alright!"

Mare exclaimed as he got serious. I am using one of the Supreme One weapons! I must give it my all! The dark elf exclaimed.

"Mare! Hurry up, we have lunch soon!"

Mare stumbled as he was ready to use her ability, only to look down, way down, and see his sister waving at him. He blushed in embarrassment, as some of the other guardians were watching him. She screams so loud! I can hear her even from here!

"I was about to!" Mare yelled back.

"Then hurry up!"

The poor dark elf boy sighed deeply as he was then getting ready to start from the beginning. And with more exhalation, he raised the powerful staff in the air and waved it around. Around him, an enormous circle appeared with many symbols. Then another one, and another one. And slowly, a huge red cloud started to form above Mare. It was expanding fast, and it almost looked as if the cloud itself was aware of what it was. A scary sight for any mortal, but for Mare or the other guardians down below, it was an incredible view.

"Whoa, this is amazing," Aura said, as she saw her younger brother charging the Super Tier Spell.

"I must admit, this looks like [Wind of Corruption], is it really different?" Shalltear asked.

"It is, the ability [Clouds of Dark and Fire] is just more theatrical in my opinion," Demiurge said, as he was there to witness Mare's ability. He took him from his rather busy schedule to witness such a spell. It was an ability reflecting the power of the eruption of a volcano. The sky became dark and red as the thunders and misty fire emerged from within the sky. The cloud of death expanded more and more.

"[Clouds of Dark and Fire]!" Mare yelled, and around him, a large expansion of pure power emerged from within him. The skies roared in fury, as balls of fire started to fall down to the earth. The sheer power of it surprised mare. The Demon Empress told Mare about tricks and cheats while doing Super Tier Magic. She told him that special class skills and be used to enhance the power of a super-tier spell. And adding the fact, he was using a World Item that increased his stats and spells power. Well, it was way overkill.

Ah, a super tier spell doesn't use MP if I remember. And with [Master of all Magik] I wonder how many times can I repeat this spell? Mare wondered as he saw the apocalyptic cloud angrily spitting fire and thunder. The cloud would work as an explosion, expanding over the land causing mayhem wherever it goes. But if he had to use it again, to boost its power, he would have to do it. But so far, Mare thought it wouldn't be really necessary.

"Mm, I should report," Mare whispered as he looked at how the dark cloud was hovering over the land, blocking the sun slowly. As if it was an eclipse.

"I want to eat something," Mare groaned as he flew down.

The expansion of the cloud would take a while to go away. But meanwhile, the entire continent would soon feel the despair of the end of the world. It was only a matter of time.
