AN: Alright, so this is a poem that sort of chronicles Kisara's life--or at least what I've seen of it...only a few spoilers

Impossible freedom

Tears fall freely to the ground
Accursed skin stained with dirt and blood
Do the blows or the words hurt more?

Not a word mouthed in defense of jeers
Not a hand raises to ward away lashes
Crimson rivulets run to splash the dirt

How can such hatred be felt in a mother?
How can such cruel words flow from a father?
How can such pain be edured by a child?

Lost in a chaos of hatred and pain
Betrayal and lies meld with laughter
Hope swallowed in swarms of inhumanity

Bars close in mockery for the night
Short reprieve from blows at last
Dreams of light hide away from dark morrow

Blue eyes appear in the dark
Walls vanish as arms enfold
Impossible freedom finally given

Warm sun smiles on healing skin
Cool breeze carries soft laughter
Days of darkness long faded in newfound joy

Hard blue eyes soften in recognition
Feelings of reassuring warmth envelop
Found love for impossible freedom

Cold blue eyes full of pain
Betrayal and greed returns
Tears stain delicate and rough skin

Blows rain down once more on mounrful eyes
Familiar pain falls through old scars
Impossible freedom exchanged for love

The end draws near as arms envelop again
Tears fall on soft skin as blood flows freely
Faint smile graces newfound freedom
