For everyone on the side of the Earth at that point, it was another day, whether looking forward to being with your family or just going about your business. For one pup, He didn't have a family, or at least he didn't want what he had. Canare was his name, his eyes raised open and the rising of the sun, beaming down inside the ditch that the pup considered his home.

Canare yawned briefly before rubbing his eyes, trying to get them to focus. "So hungry…So Thirsty" he said, letting his stomach moan like a whale, giving him more signs, he should give himself his morning fuel. His stomach left like it was being contorted and twisted by something, like it someone had shoved a branding iron on the side.

Picking up his bag of personal items by the teeth and swinging his head around to face the Mighty Paw Patrol tower that stood proudly onto of the Hill overlooking Adventure Bay. The pup scoffed at the tower, knowing at least in his mind it represents his parents.

Turning away from the Protector's monument and climbing out the ditch, scrapping the dirt, dust, and grime out of his fur, search for somewhere to quench his needs for food and water. After a few moments of searching around from street to street and alley to alley, Canare comes across a Diner and spotting near the Establishment, a Hose.

Canare grins, running over to the pipe, almost tripping over himself, sprinting so fast even the asphalt road he ran across was surely scrapped just a little bit. Immediately putting his belongings and drinking up a dozen from the pipe, letting the water run down his throat with no problem, no time to sip and no time to gulp, just down the hatch.

"But Daaaaaad"

"I already told you, If I order you that pancake, you're not going to finish it, now sitting down and eat your nuggets" Canare heard chatter from inside the Diner, turning off pipe and letting the tap water drip down his neck before peaking inside through the Large Diner window to see a father and a son, the son clearly upset.

"But I will, you just don't love me" The child said swinging his stool around in the other direction, refusing to face his father, pouting his face and crossing his arms as well. "C'mon, you know that's not true, I love you so much, nothing ever in this whole word and make me change my mind about that" he said, wrapping his arms around his son.

"Alright dad, Can I have some extra ketchup please?" the child asked with his father already reaching around the counter for it. "No problem" he replied. The wholesome scene was even to make a grown man crying, or in this case, a pup was no father to look up to anymore. Canare whipped his oncoming tears away before they became visible, trying to hide his own feelings from him at this point.

Walking away from the scene in front of him and just down the sidewalk, ignoring glances from regular people just glaring at Canare, obviously un-nerving to a little pup just walking down the sidewalk, by himself. Canare in respond gave very timid waves back, as if to act casual before darting into a nearby alley way just in case.

Canare kept walking down the alley before suddenly, getting a very pleasant smell of…. food, actual good food that was nearby. The scent for the meal was so strong and tempting to the pup, that ignoring it was too hard of an option. At this point, Canare was so hungry that he didn't even care if he found it in a trash bin, he was willing to eat anything.

Canare rounded the corner further down the alleyway, growing closer to where he thought the source of the scent was going from, and behold before his eyes, a small wrap of tin foil lying flat on the ground and on top of it was a thick layer of chicken with rice soaked in gravy, the steam radiating up from it and into the air, right into Canare's nostrils.

Canare however didn't seek it out to sight see, he came to eat. Immediately putting down his belongings and digging into the chicken, eating as if he hadn't eaten in ages. Although it was just over night, but it feels like forever to a child.

"mhmhmmmhhm" Canare murmured, all was heard were just crunching and chewing of the food inside Canare's mouth with gravy oozing right in between his teeth and onto the concrete below him. "Hey you!" Canare heard from behind him, his heart jumping at the sudden shout, turning around and see several people, all dressed in ragged clothing and covered in dirt.

"That was our lunch for the day!" The Homeless man said, devastated that his lunch was now being chewed away slowly by Canare. The pup seeing this, gave a smile back in a very apologetic way. "U-Uhm…H-Here you go" Canare stuttered as he stepped back and shifted the mostly eaten chicken and squashed out rice over to the small angry crowd.

"GET HIM!" The man said, Canare froze before spitting out the bones in his mouth and taking off with his bag of belongings in his mouth, darting right into the small group before dashing right under their legs and further into a new alley way. "Don't lose him!" Canare heard from behind him, knowing they were on his tail.

Canare zig zagged through several dirty pathways, jumping over trash cans, and dodging small pieces of broken glass that littered some places of the alley way. Canare come face to face, just feet away from a large fence in between him and getting out of the alley. The now scared to death pup, starting to climb under the fence, seeing a large enough gap, thinking he could fit under and make his final escape.

Canare shifted under the fence now problem due to him being small, but however, his small bag of his personal items could not fit, it was too large and wide to just squeeze through, and he didn't have the energy to throw it over either. Within moments of tugging, Canare suddenly slammed into the fence. "Gotcha!" One of them Homeless men said, getting a hold of the bag and firmly not letting go from the other side of the fence.

Canare pressed his paws against the fence for a better grip, proving to useful as he maintained the bag for a few more seconds. The violent tugging going from left to right, back and forth between the two before ultimately the bag itself couldn't handle any more pressure and gave in, letting open and bunch of toys, treats and other various items.

Canare fell over on his back after the sudden tear and leapt forward to try and grab his stuff, back away soon however after seeing one of the men's hands pokes through the open spots of the fence, trying to open it from the other side. The pup instead chose that nothing was worth it, just deciding to run away as fast as he could far away from the fence.

The runaway pup ran for a few moments before spotting a truck at a gas station nearby, thinking it was the perfect cover to hide. Not thinking much of it, running over, and hopping in the back of the trunk, even better was the fact that it was covered by a large tarp that was tucked into the edge of the trunk, Canare snuggled inside and underneath the Tarp, poking his head out and watching the men make free from the fence, but completely baffled on where he had gone.

"Where did he go?" One of them asked.

"I don't know"

Canare smirked, glorifying his own escape before out of nowhere, the Truck began to vibrate and the engine purred. "Ready to head out, Lets go" A young voice was heard coming from behind Canare, the pup turned around to see a teenage boy putting back the gas nozzle from the tank and hoping back into the driver side of the truck.

"Alright Alright, I'm coming, got some stuff for the road" Another Teenage boy appeared from out of the Convenient store of the Gas station, holding a large pack of alcohol in his hand, putting it right beside him as he jumped into the passenger side and slammed the door shut. Without even knowing about the pup riding in the trunk, the Teenagers slowly etched out of the Gas station and back onto the main road.

"Hey, there he is!" One of the Homeless men said, pointing to the Truck as Canare stood from the Trunk of the vehicle, waving goodbye at them. "Sorry I ate your food" Canare shouted as a bunch of the men gave chase, but ultimately gave up as the Truck sped up, driving on the main road out of the Adventure Bay.

Feeling the cool breeze of the wind blow against Canare's fur made him feel alive, the boost of energy he really needed for some reason. Canare looked back and saw that he was getting far from Adventure Bay, the only place he really did know. "Cool, I'm going out of Adventure Bay, Yahoo!" Canare shouted out.

"Think this is enough distance for me, I think I can just jump off n-"

"Dude, its open road, floor it" The Teen in the Passenger seat said to his friend, as he asked, he did receive. Without hesitation from his friend, the Truck immediately acerated down the road, passing the beaches on the right side and the slopping hills on the left, going over 70 miles per hour. Canare seeing the enormous boost in speed, decided to hang back instead of become roadkill.

"On second thought, I'll just get out when they slow down" Canare said, tucking himself into the tarp once again, getting ready for a lengthy ride into new territory.

"Rose, you better be ready in 5 minutes or you're walking to school!" Tracker shouted right in the bathroom where he knew his daughter was getting ready, soaking up too much time for his liking. "Almost done dad, 5 more minutes!" Rose shouted back, Tracker rolled his eyes before walking away from the door and further down the hall, right past the Canare's room.

Tracker stopped himself in his pace, eyeing the door down as if there was something he needed to do before passing by. Tracker thought about last night, thinking about how he came off as so cruel and cold hearted to his son. The Chihuahua sighed before knocking on the door. "Canare, you in there?" Tracker asked with no response.

"I uhm.…just want to say I'm sorry for last night, I really do love you Canare, you just asked me when I wasn't really thinking in my right mind but have to understand tough love is still love." Canare said, opening the door slightly just to peek inside.

Tracker looked around only to see no one inside, his son's toys were all over the place, lining against the wall and in the center of the room. "Canare?" he asked out once more, not really looking for a response on the second time, but more of a baffling way.

"Tracker, Honey!" Tracker turned around to see Skye running down towards, looking very frightened and shaken by whatever was on her mind.

"What is it, Skye?"

"Have you seen Canare, anywhere?!" Skye asked, shaking down to bone from her fear. "N-No, I haven't, I thought he was in his room" Tracker replied.

"I looked everywhere, every room all around the Lookout, I don't know where he could be" Skye claimed, shivered in genuine fear, and started to form tears in her eyes. "Okay Skye, it's going to be Alright, we'll find him, He probably just hiding somewhere around here" Tracker assured, rubbing the fur on the back of Skye's back.

"Skye, Tracker, you need to see this! "Suddenly Ryder's voice shouted from behind them, holding in clutch his Tablet. "Ryder, Canare is missing, we can't find him" Tracker said.

"I know, take a look, this was recorded from the security cameras last night" Ryder held down the Device, letting both Skye and Tracker get a glance at what Ryder was trying to show them, it showed Canare in the middle of the night, sneaking out down the Lift and running out into Adventure Bay.

"Th-That's crazy, why would Canare just run off like that?" Tracker said, completely blank on how his own son would just take off without saying anything to anyone. "I don't know, but that's not important right now, the point is he's out there somewhere and we need to find him"

"Your Right Ryder, Poor Canare must be hungry and cold about now" Skye said.

"Exactly, You two get in your Vehicles and go look around the town for him whilst I go inform the others" Both Tracker and Skye nodded at the command in understanding before taking off by each other's side right by Ryder.

"Hold on Canare, we're coming for you" Skye said with confidence.
