Misty was the path to Water's mansion.
This confused Clavis; Lumiale's house was usually surrounded by the soft shine of dewdrops, resting on rose petals surrounding Lumiale's cherished garden. Clavis found the sparkles guiding him to his friend agreeable. He wondered where they had disappeared to. His silken clothes felt cold, and by all standards the dewdrops should not have been humid enough to turn to mist.
Mist was preferable today. Witnessing only flashes of dominant red towering over the gentle blue Clavis loved was bad enough; Clavis had no desire to also witness Fire melting down Water's usual reserve.
