Previously on Third Watch, Officer Tyrone Davis J.R. was chasing after a suspect that had came out a known drug house on the corner of Main and 98th Street. As the chase continued down 98th street, it seemed like they were going though an obstacle course. Hopping over gates, going through houses, and running though alleys as fast as they could. As they ran though the streets of New York City you cold hear their feet pounding against the ground.
Back at the suspected drug house, the undercover officer was lying there freely bleeding all over the living room floor at the drug house waiting for the paramedics to arrive to rescue.
As the ambulance arrived, paramedic Doc Parker and his partner Alex Taylor were trying to rush to Officer Maritza Cruz. But they were stopped in their tracks, because they had to wait until ESU (Evacuate Scene Unit) to arrive and make sure that the house was all clear of the suspects.
Meanwhile, while the officers were still at the suspected drug house. Officer Davis was still in foot pursuit after the suspect calling for backup because he was getting tired of running after him. After calling for backup three or four times, here comes his partner, Officer John Sullivan, also known as Sully coming around the corner in the police car.
When ESU arrived on the scene at the house, the paramedics was trying to get inside to get Officer Cruz because they frightened that she was going to die because of the time they spent outside trying to wait on ESU to arrive on scene and scan the house for any more suspects.
After ESU went and searched the inside of the house, they realized that that they were at the wrong house because there was no trace of any drug activity going on inside of the house. So when the paramedics went inside of the house to get the downed officer she was still alive and saying that she was trying to get a hold of the lead detective that was in charge of the drug operation to let him know that there was a problem and they had staking out the wrong house the whole time
Back on 98th street, Officer Davis and Officer Sullivan had finally caught up to the suspect. Officer Davis was already mad because that was the longest foot pursuit he had ever done in his whole police career. When they finally took him down to Central Booking in downtown New York City.
When Officers Davis and Sullivan got back to the 55th Precinct they were informed of that the suspect they had caught earlier in the day, was a fake and they were chasing him for no reason. Back in the briefing room up stairs they were briefed of the other suspected drug house.
At 9:15 P.M. on the same night they went to the suspected drug house to raid it. Therefore Swat, ESU, and the patrolman were all dispatched to the house. When they entered, they were alarmed what they saw inside. They saw all kinds of drugs and other things inside. The drug dealers were all upset because the police had messed up their whole operation. On the inside they were all pinned up against walls and they had called in the scene investigators to come in and collect all of the evidence. So when all of the police officers had left the house and transported them all down to central booking. Some of the drug dealers homeboys had set fire to the house just in case the police was coming back to get some more evidence.
