Meanwhile back at the Tree of Life...

"I still don't know what to do," Kopa sighed. "I hope the answer becomes easier to answer at the right time. I trust Grandfather Mufasa, but at the same time, I wish he could help me out here."

"This way," Rani told Bunga as she led him away. "Cikha Escarpment is up there."

"Wow. So that's where Askari discovered the Roar," Bunga remarked. "Hey. You think I could get the Roar? And if I did, would honey badgers appear in the sky?" he then asked.

"I really don't know," Rani rolled her eyes at him. "But I'm starting to understand Fuli a little better." she then mumbled to herself.

"What'd you say?" Bunga asked before seeing Rani's expression on her face. "Hey, why are you making a Fuli face?"

They both soon heard a roar in the distance.

"Hoo-hoo-hah. That's Kion and he's using the Roar!" Bunga smiled once they heard the roar. "And it's a big one."

The roar soon continued.

"It's coming from the top of the cliff," Rani said before they followed the sound of the roar. "Come on."

"Wait for me!" Bunga called out.

The young lioness and honey badger followed the sound of the roar and suddenly came to a stop and looked very surprised and amazed at what they found.

"Un-Bunga-lievable." Bunga smiled proudly.

Meanwhile with the Night Pride as they were sleeping...

"Night Pride! Night Pride!" Ullu called out as she flew in.

The lions suddenly woke up as they were shown to be asleep in the grass.

"Ullu. What is it?" Surak asked the white owl. "Where's Kopa?"

"Mama Binturong is headed this way," Ullu replied. "With an army of villains. I think Kopa might be wherever Queen Rani is."

"Warn the Lion Guard," Surak nodded as Bailyo yawned sleepily. "We'll get Queen Rani and hopefully Kopa too."

The three members of the Night Pride soon took off.

Meanwhile with the remaining members of the Lion Guard...

There was soon some rumbling heard and where this caught Ono's attention.

"Anyone else hear that?" he soon asked. "It sounds like a stampeding herd."

"I'll take a look," Anga offered before she soon flew high in the sky and took a look to see the evil group of animals on their way into the lands. "It's a stampede, all right. A stampede of bad guys and they've already made it through the mountain pass." she then told the rest of the Lion Guard.

"They must be heading to the Tree of Life." Fuli guessed.

"Why didn't Ullu warn us?" Behste frowned.

"Hoo hoo! That's what I'm here to do!" Ullu hooted before she soon came to see them. "I saw the Night Pride first. They're already on their way." she then informed.

"Okay, Lion Guard. Let's go," Fuli then commanded. "And let's hope the Night Pride can hold them off 'til we get there."

Meanwhile in the den of the Tree of Life...

"Queen Rani! Kopa! We have trouble." Surak said as he, Nirmala, and Baliyo came running in.

"Sis? Kopa? You two here?" Baliyo asked.

"Guys?" Kopa replied once he was shown.

"Well, that's one of them." Baliyo then said.

"Oh! Night Pride. Sorry," Makini said once she saw the lions come in. "Queen Rani and Bunga went to look for Kion-"

The rumbling was soon heard which was a bit startling.

"What was that?" Nirmala asked out of concern.

"I hope it's not what it sounds like," Surak replied before running off to leave the tree with the others. "Come on. Hurry!"

As they arrived at the entrance of the den to leave the tree, they soon saw it was blocked off by a big rock.

"Oh, no! We're trapped." Nirmala gasped.

They soon heard faint evil laughs.

"What's going on out there?" Makini frowned worriedly.

"Nothing good." Surak shook his head.

"I've had nightmares like this." Kopa frowned in fear and sadness.

Meanwhile, outside...

"That should keep them in there." Ora smirked at the other predators.

"Yep," Makucha smirked back. "Now we don't have to worry about the Night Pride."

A female fox was soon seen running for her life as she was being chased by Chuluun while Heng-Heng was chased by Ora's Komodo Dragons.

"Leave me alone!" Heng-Heng cried out to the two Komodo Dragons.

The porcupines were seen chasing after Kely and his group of gentle lemurs.

"Look at them run!" Mama Binturong laughed darkly.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Makucha grinned at the other predators. "Let's get in on the fun!"

And so, chaos spread throughout the Tree of Life as the predators stalked after innocent animals.

"The Tree of Life, and everything around it, is finally ours!" Mama Binturong grinned darkly as she continued to laugh.

Most of the Lion Guard and Ullu soon arrived and saw the chaos that was going on.

"Looks like Ora and Makucha's friends are here." Anga said.

"Mama's Binturong's porcupines too." Ono said.

"But how did they all find their way here?" Beshte asked.

"Doesn't matter how they got here? We've got to get rid of them," Fuli said before looking to Ullu. "Ullu, where's the Night Pride and Kopa?"

"They should be here," Ullu replied. "They went to the Tree of Life to get Queen Rani."

Anga soon took a look with her special eyesight as she saw a giant rock blocking the Tree of Life. "Uh-oh. If they're in the Tree, they're trapped." she then said.

"Anga. Find Kion and Bunga," Fuli ordered. "Get them here as fast as you can."

"Yep." Anga nodded before she flew away.

"What'll we do 'til then?" Ono asked Fuli.

"We'll do the best we can," Fuli told him before taking off. "Come on."

The rest of the Lion Guard, minus Anga, soon followed Fuli.

"Hoo-hoo!" Ullu hooted before flying in.

Meanwhile back with Kion...

Kion continued to roar with his great power. The rocks were shown to be flying around as Kion stopped roaring for a moment to see what was happening. The rocks then fell over as Kion then heard clapping and cheering right behind him.

"Oh, the Roar is back!" Bunga beamed.

"Hi, Bunga. Rani." Kion greeted them.

"How did you do that?" Rani smiled.

"Hard to explain." Kion shrugged.

"Ooh! I know, I know! You've been practicing." Bunga smiled at Kion.

"How could you tell?" Kion asked.

But before that question could be answered... "Kion! Bunga! Queen Rani!" Anga called out as she suddenly flew in.

"Anga? What's up?" Kion asked once he saw her.

"Bad guys. They brought friends. And, captured the Tree of Life." Anga reported.

"What?" Kion frowned.

"No way!" Bunga gasped.

"What about the Night Pride?" Rani asked in concern.

"I think they're trapped inside the Tree with Makini and Kopa." Anga replied.

"We need to go." Rani told Kion.

"Go on, I'll be right behind you." Kion replied.

"Oh, yeah! Look out, bad guys; here comes the Roar like you've never seen it before." Bunga said as he, Rani, and Anga soon took off back to the Tree of Life.

Kion smiled before looking back as the thunder rumbled and the clouds glowed. Askari smiled at the young lion once he appeared.

"Thank you, Askari. I'm ready." Kion smiled back before he ran off to go and join his friends.

Makucha laughed as he chased after a female goat who ran for her dear life. "Get back here. I just wanna eat ya!" he called out mockingly.

"Oh, no, you don't, Makucha." Fuli glared as she ran up behind the leopard.

"What?" Makucha glared back only to get charged away.

The female goat smiled in relief before she soon had to run away from another leopard who chased her after Makucha was out. Fuli soon looked ready to stop the leopard only for Makucha to tackle her. Ono began was seen dropping down rocks, scaring away some porcupines.

"Ahh! Run!" The porcupines screamed as they ran off.

"There are more bad guys than rocks." Ono remarked as he took a look from up above.

"That's right! For once we outnumber you!" Mama Binturong grinned before she laughed.

Ullu then hooted as she flew by and pecked Mama Binturong in the head.

"Ow! How dare you peck Mama on the head?!" Mama Binturong then glared at the young female owl.

Kopa pushed on the rock as strongly as he could. Surak soon came beside Kopa before the others joined in, though even with all of their combined strength, they couldn't move the rock.

"It's no use." Makini pouted.

The rock began to be shown to be moving.

"Hey, it's moving." Baliyo smiled.

"Twende... Kiboko!" A familiar voice strained from the other side.

"And I know why." Makini smiled.

"It's Behste!" Kopa recognized.

Behste grunted as he continued to move the boulder as strongly as he could.

"Hippo. Leave that boulder alone," Mama Binturong glared from another tree. "Ora! Stop that hippo."

"Dragons. With me." Ora then grinned as he stopped chasing the lemurs and went after Behste with the other Komodo Dragons.

The other Komodo Dragons then hissed as they followed Ora to stop Behste from moving the boulder.

"Keep pushing, Beshte!" Makini called out as she, Kopa, and the Night Pride pushed the rock on the other side of the rock.

Beshte kept on pushing the rock to help Makini Kopa and the Night Pride out.

"Back off, hippo!" Ora glared as he and the other Komodo Dragons pursued after the young hippo, pushing him away from the boulder with their combined strength. "Let us see how you like three bites at once."

Luckily for Behste, some help was coming. "Anga-lenga!"

The Komodo Dragons snarled as they soon retreated out of the way.

"Anga! You're back," Behste smiled at her. "Oh, thanks."

"Yep," Anga smiled back. "And I've brought some help."

"Help?" Mama Binturong asked nervously.

Kion, Rani, and Bunga were soon seen arriving at the scene.

"I knew this was too easy," Mama Binturong glared once she saw the young animals. "Makucha. Ora. Forget about catching your lunch. Get them. Especially that Bunga!"

"Hey... Mama Binturong remembered my name," Bunga said to Kion and Rani before sliding down with a smirk as he ran towards the grounds. "Hi, Mama. Sorry we're late!"

Mama Binturong snarled at him in response.

"I can handle this," Kion offered. "If that's okay."

"I trust you." Rani smiled at him.

Kion then went to get himself ready as the thunder rumbled which made most of the animals stop whatever they were doing.

"Kion's gonna use the Roar?" Fuli asked in concern. "With all these animals around?"

"It's okay. You'll see." Bunga smirked.

"Oh, no. Not the Roar." Ora said out of fear.

"Don't stop now, act like a dragon." Makucha told him.

"Wherever Dakarai and Abrafo are, they are lucky they're not going to have to experience the Roar that we are about to experience." Ora replied.

"Stay calm. Focus. And..." Kion said to himself, trying to relax himself before he took a deep breath and let out a big and mighty roar.

Ora grunted as he got hit by the roar suddenly, away from Chuluun and Makucha.

"At least it missed us." Chuluun commented.

Abrafo soon came out of hiding only for the roar to hit him as well.

"So much for that." Ono then said about Abrafo.

"What was that?" Surak asked as he and the others were still trapped inside.

"That's Kion," Makini smiled. "And his Roar!"

"Not bad for a little guy." Kopa remarked.

Kion kept on roaring as he kept using the Roar as it hit Makucha next before it hit Chuluun next and after that the Roar caused a tornado to be formed as it soon went towards the porcupines as it picked up all five of them.

"See what I mean?" Bunga smirked at Fuli.

"Poa!" Behste approved.

"Look out!" A second male leopard cried out to Makucha.

The two kept on running until the tornado spun out and the porcupines suddenly fell and landed on top of them and they all fell together in pain.

"Run!" One Komodo Dragon told the others.

The reptiles soon ran until Kion roared again, sending a piece of the ground to shoot up and block their way as they ran into the new wall.

"He's not gonna use that Roar on me." Mama Binturong said to herself as she went to escape down the tree.

"There goes Mama Binturong." Rani told Kion as she saw the Binturong taking off.

"Bunga, get ready." Kion told the honey badger before using the Roar to cause a big enough tornado to pick up Bunga and carry him to Mama Binturong.

"Un-Bunga-lievable!" Bunga smirked as he flew towards Mama Binturong. "Zuka Zama!"

"Oh, no!" Mama Binturong complained. "Not Bunga."

"That's right Mama! And here's something else you won't forget," Bunga smirked at her before he soon gave her yet another disgusting fart before he soon hit the ground in excitement. "That was great. Let's do it again."

"Beshte. This one's for you." Kion soon said before he then roared for his hippo friend.

Behste was soon floating with his own tornado in excitement. "Poa. I've never flown before." he then said.

Makucha kept running before his eyes widened as he saw Behste coming. "A flying hippo?"

Behste then suddenly dropped and landed right on top of him. "Twende kiboko." he then said to the fallen leopard.

"Kion, the Night Pride, Kopa, and Makini are still trapped in the tree." Rani reminded Kion.

"Right." Kion said before using the Roar against the big rock that block the way out of the tree.

Lightning struck from the clouds that shot at and broke apart the boulder.

"Oh. Glad I got my sight back," Ono smiled at what he and Anga just saw. "I wouldn't have believed that if I hadn't seen it!"

"Yep." Anga nodded in agreement.

The Night Pride soon left the tree along with Kopa and Makini.

"What just happened?" Baliyo asked once they saw Makucha's army lying on the ground in defeat.

"I'm not sure... But I think we won." Surak replied.

"I'd say that was the power of the roar, Surak." Kopa smiled.

"You got that right." Abrafo groaned as he looked a little dizzy from the impact of the Roar.

"Hmm... Then where's Dakarai?" Kopa asked Abrafo.

"I dunno and I don't care." Abrafo said before he fell flat on the ground and blacked out.

"I've never seen anything like that in my life." Rani commented.

"Me neither." Kion added.

The two of them then laughed at that.

Kion and Rani soon walked down to the others.

"Everything okay, Fuli?" Kion asked the female cheetah.

"You tell me." Fuli said to Kion.

"Yeah. I think I'm okay." Kion then nodded.

"So, what should do with them?" Kopa asked, referring to the predators.

"I'd like to convince them to never attack the Tree of Life." Kion replied.

"Be my guest." Rani nodded.

Kion smiled before he then let out a very big and mighty roar against the predators. The predators, being too weak to move, could just lie on the ground and they were soon taken up with the roar to be sent away from the Tree of Life which made most of them scream and panic.

"This is all a mistake!" Mama Binturong panicked as she tried to run away, only to get carried away as well. "I'm just a harmless old binturong. I wanna go hoooome!"

The tornado began to carry the villains away from the Tree of Life and to somewhere far away.

"Where'd you send 'em?" Bunga asked Kion.

"Far, far away." Kion replied proudly.

The Night Pride and Kopa soon came to catch up with the others.

"Everyone all right?" Rani asked her family.

"Totally fine." Baliyo said.

"Just sorry we didn't get to see more of Kion's Roar." Kopa added.

"I was right. I knew it!" Makini beamed at Kion. "You were working on your Roar."

"Now you really are healed." Nirmala smiled proudly.

"Yeah." Kion smiled back.

"I don't know what to say, Kion," Rani smiled at the leader of The Lion Guard. "Thanks for getting rid of them?"

"It was the least I can do," Kion smiled back at her before frowning. "After all, I was the one who led them here."

"Now I know why Queen Janna was so happy to have the Roar return to the Tree of Life," Rani reassured. "And now that it's here... You should stick around."

The rest of the Lion Guard looked wide-eyed at that idea.

"Oh..." Kion replied, having a lot on his mind now.

"I think Kion has some thinking to do, Rani." Kopa remarked.

"I sure do." Kion nodded.

"I know how ya feel..." Kopa replied. "I've been doing a lot of thinking myself."

"Thanks for understanding." Kion smiled.

"I'm a big brother, it's my job." Kopa smiled back.
