"The fastest way is through this canyon." Azaad said as they came to a stop.
"Oh! That IS a narrow path." Behste said once he saw how small the path was.
"Hmm... Hmm..." Bunga said as he spread his arms out to see the size and compared it to Behste and shook his head after he was done measuring. "Yeah, I don't think you're gonna fit through there, Big B."
"Is this the only way, Azaad?" Kopa asked.
"It is the fastest way," Azaad nodded. "The way of the cheetah!"
"Not the way of the hippo. Sorry." Beshte said softly.
"So guess we go back and take the slower way?" Janja guessed.
"No," Kion decided. "If this is the fastest way, then this is the way we're going. Get behind me." he then ordered.
"I know what that means!" Janja laughed excitedly as he joined the rest of the Lion Guard to go behind Kion.
"I'm sorry you can't go too, Behste." Kopa said.
"It's okay, Kopa, really." Behste reassured.
"Beshte will be going too." Kion assured them.
"Really? But how..." Kopa started before remembering Kion had been practicing with the Roar. "Ohh... That's how."
"I see you know me pretty well by now." Kion said to Kopa.
"Yes, this was quite the experience." Kopa smirked.
"How-" Azaad asked.
"Just wait," Bunga smirked. "It's Un-Bunga-liveable!"
Kion soon let out a very big and powerful roar to break the canyon and opened it wider and bigger to give them more room in order to cross through it.
"Gotta love the Roar!" Bunga laughed happily.
"Very well," Azaad then said as he led the way. "The fast way it is."
The others then followed after the male cheetah.
"Wait for us!" Adi's voice called out.
The group soon looked behind to see Adi and Muguuzi coming over.
"We're coming with." Muguuzi smiled.
"You sure, you guys?" Kopa smiled back softly.
"Of course!" Muguuzi replied. "We've been through so much together."
Kopa beamed before he nodded at the servals. "Let's go then." he then said.
"I'm glad you understand," Adi replied. "I can't imagine what it would be like if we all didn't stick together."
"Besides, it makes sense with of how we brought you to the Tree of Life with the same path we're going down on." Muguuzi said.
"Yep, it's true," Adi nodded. "After all, it is the fastest way from the Pridelands to the Tree of Life."
"All right," Kopa smiled thankfully at the servals. "Let's get going."
Abi and Muguuzi smiled back as they followed him.
"We will need to cross this ravine." Azaad said as he showed them something.
"Bunga chuckled. "That's deep and wide," he then said before deciding to trigger an echo. "DEEP AND WIDE!"
"Deep and Wide" then echoed after he shouted.
"A cheetah could just leap across, but the nearest land bridge may take days to reach." Azaad informed.
"We need to get back to the Pridelands as fast as we can," Kion replied. "We just need to get across this ravine?
"Yes. The path to the Pridelands continues on the other side, but-" Azaad nodded.
"That's all I needed to hear." Kion smiled as he already knew what to do.
"Ooh! Ooh! Me first! Me first!" Bunga beamed eagerly.
"Okay, Bunga, you first." Kion smiled.
"First?" Jasiri asked.
"First for what?" Janja added.
"You'll see." Anga said flatly.
Kion soon let out a very big roar that let out some wind.
"Oh, yeah!" Bunga laughed as he jumped onto it and floated in mid-air as the two hyenas looked at each other.
Kion then continued to roar and soon made Bunga fly over to the other side of the ravine.
"That's what I'm talking about!" Bunga cheered once he made it over.
"So who's next?" Kion asked the rest of the group.
"Next? Whoa, no way! I'm going across the ravine like that!" Janja denied.
"Are you scared?" Kopa asked.
"What? Pfft! I'm not scared!" Janja scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Whatchu talkin' 'bout?"
"Don't worry, Janja," Behste reassured. "Kion's learned lots of new ways to use the Roar."
"Indeed, it's perfectly safe." Ono nodded in agreement.
"Easy for you to say," Janja rolled his eyes. "You could fly."
"Well, if you're not scared, I say go ahead, Kion." Jasari smirked.
Kion soon used the Roar to help Jasiri and Janja to fly over the ravine to the other side.
"Have a nice flight, you two." Kopa smiled.
"Wait, wait, wait!" Janja cried out. "It's just that I don't wanna fllllllyyyyyyy!"
The two hyenas soon landed on the other side, though Janja had a rougher landing.
"See, that wasn't so bad, was it?" Bunga smiled at the male hyena.
"It was fun." Jasiri smiled back.
"...Yeah," Janja said as he stood up while Kion let out another roar as he stood up on his legs. "Better than all the other times Kion's roared at me."
"Poa!" Behste chuckled as he was soon next.
"Fuli? Azaad?" Kion asked the two cheetahs.
"We can cross the ravine like cheetahs," Azaad said to Kion before looking over to Fuli. "Yes, Fuli?"
"Yes." Fuli smirked in determination.
"Mibinamet!" Azaad called out as he leaped over with Fuli.
"Huwezi!" Fuli added as she joined him.
"Okay, Kopa, let's do you next." Kion then said to his older brother.
"Sounds great." Kopa nodded.
Kion soon let out his roar and soon blew Kopa over to the other side next.
"I never imagined in my life I'd be flying over a ravine." Kopa commented. Once he was on the other side of the ravine, Kion looked down at Adi and Muguuzi.
"Well, here we go." Adi gulped.
"We're ready when you are, Kion." Muguuzi smiled.
Kion nodded as he soon roared the two servals next.
"Decide where you're gonna stay yet?" Fuli asked Kopa.
"Still thinking," Kopa replied. "I wish I had a decision, it seems to get harder and harder to decide."
"Well, I hope it comes to you soon." Fuli frowned.
"Me too." Kopa nodded.
"So, Kion. how will you get across?" Ono asked as he and Anga would obviously fly over to the other side.
"Like this." Kion smiled before he let out another roar and soon jumped on the wind to float over to the others.
Adi and Muguuzi comforted Kopa the best that they could once Adi tried to stop being scared of what just happened to him.
"Un-Bunga-lievable!" Bunga beamed as he and the others saw Kion floating over to them.
Kion soon made it across to the other side with the others.
"Okay, Azaad. We're across," Kopa said to the male cheetah. "Now which way do we go?"
"This way." Azaad instructed as he led the way.
The group soon continued to follow and the others seemed to notice something going on between Fuli and Azaad.
"Fuli sure seems happy to see that Azaad guy again." Bunga commented.
"It's like Kion and Queen Rani," Behste remarked. "They're really good friends, ya know?"
"Yeah. Really good friends." Kion added softly.
"Or maybe more than just really good friends." Adi smirked as she quietly spoke to Muguuzi.
"I agree." Muguuzi as he quiet replied with a smirk back to her.
The two servals chuckled while Bunga seemed to be oblivious.
"Here we turn and follow the river bed to its mouth." Azaad instructed once they came to an end.
"Is it far?" Fuli asked.
"Farther than I can see." Anga remarked, unfortunately.
"If you were all cheetahs, we could make it before the sun sets." Azaad smirked.
Kopa glared slightly as he didn't like Azaad's behavior right now.
"Oh, I think I can get us there way before sunset!" Kion smirked confidently. "First, we need to get this dead tree into the riverbed."
"Is it just me or does Kion seem a little confident since he's used the Roar twice?" Adi whispered to Kopa.
"Yeah, I guess he learned a lot," Kopa replied. "I just hope he doesn't get a swelled head."
"That sounds painful." Muguuzi winced.
"No, no, that just means that he might get full of himself and boastful about what he can do now," Kopa explained. "Hopefully it doesn't come down to all of that though."
"Okay! Twende Ki-" Beshte started about to charge at the dead tree.
"Don't worry, Beshte; I got it." Kion told the hippo before using the Roar on the dead tree, causing a tornado to uproot the dead tree and move it down to the ravine where the river used to be.
"Poa. Guess you didn't need my help after all." Behste remarked.
"Oh, yeah!" Bunga beamed as he bounced all around in excitement. "Kion's new Roars make him a one-lion Lion Guard."
"Guess they kind of do," Kion replied. "Okay, now, we're going to ride that tree down the river."
"But, there is no river." Azaad pointed out.
"Not yet," Kion smirked at the two cheetahs. "Hope you two don't mind getting wet."
The two cheetahs soon looked confused before Kion released yet another roar.
"Well, we're about to get lots of water, thanks to Kion." Adi said.
"Yep, I can hear the rushing water now." Kopa said.
A thunderclap was soon heard which scared Janja.
"Are you okay?" Kopa asked, a bit concerned for the male hyena.
"Hmm... Afraid of thunder, hyena?" Azaad mocked Janja.
"Me? Afraid?" Janja scoffed as the water was coming. "No way."
"Kion roared up a river!" Bunga laughed out of excitement.
"Now, everyone hop on the tree and hold on tight," Kion instructed. "We're gonna ride the tree down the river.
"Must we?" Azaad then asked.
"What?" Janja smirked. "Afraid of water, cheetah?"
"Azaad is never afraid," Azaad boasted. "It is simply that cheetahs and water do not get along."
"See? It's not just me." Fuli smirked at her friends.
"Well, right now you'll have to fall with the water because a lot of water is coming." Adi said as he and Muguuzi jumped onto the dead tree.
"One ride down the river coming up." Kopa said as he jumped onto the dead tree next.
Everyone soon went down next, though Fuli and Azaad hesitated for a moment.
"They look like they're having fun." Ono smiled as he flew with Anga.
"Most of them." Anga remarked.
"You okay, Janja?" Jasiri asked her fellow hyena.
"I think I like it better when Kion just used his Roar to blast us back to the... *gulp!* Outlands." Janja replied as he looked like he was going to be sick.
"Thanks for helping us find our way, Azzad," Fuli smiled at her fellow cheetah. "I'm sure this part isn't much fun for you."
"I do prefer my adventures to be less soggy, but I am pleased to having this adventure with you." Azaad smiled back.
A wave of water soon hit Fuli and Azaad and where they were still on the tree wet, but didn't seem to mind being wet this time.
"Isn't this great? And look at all the waves up ahead." Bunga called out back to the others.
"Must we?" Azaad groaned as he was dripping wet.
The waves then splashed as everyone rode on the tree and the water splashed so hard that it hit Anga and Ono while they were in the air. Anga and Ono yelped as they suddenly got soaked, looking slightly annoyed while the others screamed on the tree. They soon came over a waterfall and rode the tree some more until they made it to dry land.
"Looks like this is as far as we go." Kion said as the ride came to a stop.
"Aw, too bad. That was fun." Bunga smiled.
"What do you think, Azaad?" Kion asked the male cheetah. "Fast enough for ya?"
"Almost as fast as a cheetah." Azaad replied.
"All right then," Kopa nodded. "Should we keep going, Kion?"
"Absolutely." Kion nodded back.
And so, they continued their journey back to the Pridelands which took quite a while.
"Life has a way of circling around, Starting your day on different ground~" Kopa began to sing to himself. "(As you move on) You don't slow down, (As you move on), There's still ways to go., Yeah you go-oh-oh-oh-oh, Yeah you go-oh-oh-oh-oh~"
"Having fun?" Kion asked playfully.
"Just thought I'd have some fun with a song." Kopa replied bashfully.
"That song was pretty catchy though." Adi said.
"Yeah, it sure was." Muguuzi smiled.
Kopa smiled bashfully.
"You wanna keep going?" Adi asked.
"For a little while anyway..." Kopa said before suddenly yawning. "If I don't fall asleep singing first."
The others laughed at that as they kept going into the night.
"Yeah, you can push yourself, Try something new, Go ahead and find your limits, See what you can do~," Kopa soon continued to sing for them. "(As you move on) You don't slow down, (As you move on) There's still ways to go., (As you move on) You don't slow down, (As you move on) There's still ways to go, Yeah you go-oh-oh-oh-oh, Yeah you go-oh-oh-oh-oh~"
As they traveled to the Pridelands at times, Kion used the Roar for almost everything they dealt with from a sand storm to moving a nest without waking up baby birds, freeing Beshte from vines, and getting Bunga free from the snow. They soon came to yet another new location.
"This is the Great Stone Wall," Azaad introduced. "We are not far from the Pridelands now."
"...But?" Kopa prompted as he felt something was supposed to be added to that.
"But the Wall is too large to climb," Azaad soon said. "The cheetah way is to run around it."
"I think I can find us another way," Kion smiled confidently. "Or make one."
"Why do I have a feeling there's something behind this wall and not just a new path waiting for us to be made?" Adi asked Kopa.
"I don't know, but maybe Ono or Anga should fly up and see what's behind it." Muguuzi suggested.
"Yeah, that might be a good idea." Kopa agreed with his two serval friends.
"Ooh, whatcha gonna do, Kion?" Bunga beamed. "Blast a hole through it?"
"Maybe." Kion shrugged.
"Yes!" Bunga cheered. "The Roar can do anything!"
"The Roar can't solve everything, Bunga," Fuli shook her head. "We don't even know what's on the other side of that wall."
"Pfft. Doesn't matter!" Bunga scoffed indifferently. "The Roar can handle it. Right, Kion?"
"I dunno, Kion, maybe Ono or Anga should take a look before you do anything." Kopa suggested.
"Yeah, besides there must be something behind this big wall." Adi added.
"Probably, guys. Zira and her lionesses may have already attacked," Kopa replied. "We need to get to the Pridelands as fast as we can."
"...Anga and Ono?" Kopa prompted the birds as he was still unsure about Kion just using his roar in case something bad would happen.
"On it." Anga nodded before she and Ono soon flew up into the air.
"I just think there might be something behind that wall that could be held back by well the wall." Adi said.
"Must be something pretty big." Kopa guessed.
Kion soon used the Roar against the big wall as lightning began to strike at it.
"Uh-oh. The great stone wall is holding back a great big lake!" Anga yelped as her incredible eyesight showed her what was behind the wall.
"What?! Oh, no!" Ono cried out before they both flew down.
"KION!" Kopa cried out. "NO!"
Kion continued to roar as he used his special ability against the wall and the water.
"Stop roaring! Stop roaring!" Anga cried out.
"WHAT?!" Fuli cried out as she didn't hear that.
Kion's roar soon made the water stop in the air and suddenly freeze, shooting back behind the great stone wall. "Heyvi kabisa." The young lion muttered in surprise.
Everyone else gasped in surprise from seeing that.
"Everyone, stay behind me. I can handle this." Kion then told the others before he let out another roar.
"He can't handle that by himself," Kopa said. "We have to help in anyway we can."
"Agreed." Muguuzi said.
"Oh, good one, Kion," Bunga smiled. "Now what do you do?"
"Not sure, but I don't think I can-" Kion replied before he saw that the water was coming back and panicked before he went back to roaring. "Uh-oh!"
Anga soon flew in the air and looked around to see groups of animals who looked concerned. "The klipspringers! They're right in the path of the water! And, hyraxes?" she then cried out. "They'll all be in danger if that water floods the valley!"
"Oh, gee, spare us the good news." Kopa groaned as that felt worse.
"We have to do something." Adi said.
"Yeah, but what?" Muguuzi asked.
"Fuli?" Kion glanced at his cheetah friend.
"On it. Keep Roaring," Fuli nodded before she instructed on what to do. "Ono, Beshte, see if you can fix the rock wall. "
"On it!" Behste replied as he ran off.
"Affirmative!" Ono added as he flew off after him.
"We need to clear the Valley in case the wall can't be saved," Fuli continued. "Kopa, Bunga, Anga, hyrax duty."
"I'll run as fast as I can." Kopa nodded.
"You got it," Bunga added before looking at the bird. "Anga, gimme a lift? "
"All right," Anga replied as she soon carried the honey badger as she flew off while Kopa went running. "Anga lenga!"
"That leaves the klipspringers to us," Fuli then said to Janja, Jasiri, Azaad, Muguuzi, and Adi. "Follow me! Huwezi!"
"Mibinamet!" Azaad called out as he took off running with Fuli.
"Wait for us!" Adi called out as he and Muguuzi took off running after the cheetahs to the klipspringers.
"But, uh, shouldn't we be saving ourselves?" Janja asked Jasiri.
"Janja, you're one of the good guys now. Come on." Jasiri said before taking off to where Fuli, Azaad, Adi, and Muguuzi were going.
"Alright. Alright." Janja complained as he joined Jasiri.
Ono soon flew into the air and looked around as Kion continued to roar, but looked very dismayed to not see a proper solution for their problem.
"How's it look, Ono?" Behste asked once the egret came back down.
"Not good. Kion's roar smashed a big hole in the Great Stone Wall," Ono sighed. "Fixing it won't be easy. Nowaza, nowaza, nowaza..." he then paused to think until he beamed once he had an idea. "Yes, I got it. Beshte, we'll need to gather all the rocks the Roar made when it smashed the wall." he then told the hippo.
"I can do that," Behste asked. "What's the plan?"
"We're going to use the Roar to fix what it broke." Ono smiled.
The hyraxes were seen still where Anga saw them until they were greeted by Kopa and Bunga and Anga's shadows.
"Zuka Zama. Hold still, hyraxes!" Bunga called out as he came by to help out. "Coming Up! Hup! hup! hup!"
"Coming down." Anga said as he helped Bunga while Kopa carried some hyraxes as he seemed to be strong enough to carry some on his back.
Meanwhile...
"Go, go, go!" Azaad called out as he and Fuli rounded up the other animals with some help from the hyenas.
"Come on, move it!" Fuli added.
"Keep them all running in one direction!" Jasiri instructed.
"Sure thing, Jasiri!" Janja nodded before he seemed to smile at himself. "Hey, being a good guy is just like being a bad guy. Except you don't try eating everything you chase."
Kion continued to use the Roar even if he was getting a little tired until he looked back and saw Ono coming over. "Ono, any luck?" he then asked the egret.
"Yes, we have a plan, but we need you to keep roaring." Ono reported.
Kion soon kept on roaring even if he wasn't sure how much longer he could keep this up.
"Beshte, now!" Ono signaled the hippo. "Start pushing the rocks into the Roar's path!"
Behste grunted as he soon moved the rocks and they went flying.
"It's working! Beshte, keep pushing," Ono beamed. "We need enough to cover the hole!"
Behste then pushed some more rocks as Kion continued to roar. The klipspringers were soon seen continuing to run until arriving at higher ground with the hyraxes, Kopa, and the others.
"The hyraxes are safe and sound." Bunga smiled, giving a thumbs up.
"The klipspringers too." Jasiri said.
"Looks like Kion, Beshte, and Ono could use some help." Anga said as she looked from afar.
"Right!" Kopa nodded.
"Come on." Fuli added.
The others soon ran over to see Kion who began to look exhausted.
"Can't keep it up much longer..." Kion panted before he kept roaring with all his might.
"Hang on, Kion," Ono reassured as he saw someone coming. "Help's on the way."
Kopa and the others began to start throwing rocks into the Roar, adding them to the pile of rocks blocking the water and soon enough, they had enough rocks.
"Okay, Kion, the rocks are in place. Now!" Ono told Kion, giving him the signal to stop.
Kion soon stopped using the Roar and where soon the rocks all fell right where the hole used to be as the rocks kept the water from coming out. Some water did splash and gush out, soaking them all suddenly.
"Well, that wasn't too bad." Kopa shrugged bashfully.
"It worked!" Ono announced.
Everyone else soon cheered while Kion looked exhausted.
"Thanks, everyone. I thought I could solve all of our problems myself, but I was wrong," Kion said as he looked back at the others. "Nothing can replace the Lion Guard working together as a team. Not even the Roar. We make a great team. All of us."
"Being a good guy ain't so bad." Janja smiled.
"Guess we need to take the long way around after all." Kion said.
"Do not, worry Kion; as I said the Pridelands are not far from here." Azaad reminded Kion.
"Ready to go back to the Pridelands?" Adi asked Kopa.
"As ready as I'll ever be." Kopa said.
Adi and Muguuzi smiled softly.
"I'm coming home." Kopa said, though a little emotionally.
"We will be there soon." Azaad nodded.
And so, the group ran off to get back to the Pridelands at long last. They then came to a brief stop once they noticed something.
"Hey, this place looks familiar." Janja commented.
"It does." Jasiri added.
"Yes, we have reached the Outlands." Azaad smiled.
"Yep and look." Anga said as she looked over past the Outlands to the distance to see the Pridelands.
"I see it too!" Ono beamed.
"Pride Rock." Fuli smiled.
"It's been so long." Kopa said to himself.
"I can imagine," Kion replied. "Think you're ready to come back?"
"As ready as I possibly can be." Kopa nodded.
"We made it!" Bunga beamed.
"We're almost home." Behste said softly.
"Yes... The Pridelands..." Kion smiled before narrowing his eyes. "But we can't stop now. We need to find Zira and stop her. 'Til the Pridelands end..." he then prompted.
"Lion Guard defend!" The rest replied before they soon ran for it.
Everyone was seen running to the path from the Outlands to the Pridelands.
"No time to slow down," Kion told the others. "We need to stop Zira and her evil lions before they can do any harm to the Pridelands."
"We're all with you, Kion." Jasiri replied.
"Jasiri?" A female voice spoke up.
"Madoa!" Jasiri called out once she saw it was a fellow female hyena.
