"No! Michael, please stop!" Bianca was loosing her strength as quickly as she was trying to gain it. Her legs hurt from him pushing her down. She couldn't see clearly.
"Never." He growled into her ear. She felt him pulling her pants off. She twisted, fought to get away.
"I'm going to have you whenever I damn well please!" He said harshly into her ear.
Neither of them realized the door had opened.
"GET OFF OF HER, YOU BASTARD!" Kendall screamed. She lunged at him, tearing him away from the couch. He swung at her, but was disoriented. Bianca scrambled off the couch, trying to get over to Aidan in the doorway. Michael struck Kendall hard across the back of her head. She fell in a heap on the floor, unable to see anything. He ran towards Bianca, full of rage.
He stopped when he heard the gun click, saw the barrel pointed at his eyes. Bianca ran over to her sister, helping her up. Kendall shook off her dizziness, holding onto Bianca, glaring at Michael. Aidan held the gun up to Michael's head very calmly.
"Hey, look, I'm sure we can work this out." Michael started to plead.
"Yeah? And I'm sure that if Kendall and I hadn't walked in you would be raping Bianca again." Aidan's voice was hard and cold.
Michael swallowed. He turned and looked at Bianca. Kendall quickly stood in front of her sister to defend her.
He turned back to Aidan. He raised his hands slowly. "Look, I'll never do it again. Or to anyone else for that matter."
Aidan gave a small smile.
"I know."
Bianca realized he was going to pull the trigger. She rushed up to him, putting her hand on the gun.
"Aidan, thank you. I don't want you to be responsible for killing a man."
Aidan and Kendall looked at her in amazement. Michael only smiled. I knew I got to you.
Aidan shook his head. "I don't know how you do it, Bianca. I don't know how you could show mercy to him after all he's put you through."
Michael grinned, a glint in his eye. "It's because a part of her actually wants me, right Bianca?"
"No!" She cried out at Michael and at Aidan who raised the gun again. She tried to pull the gun away from him, when-
BAM
The shot echoed in the stillness, vibrated through the anger. Michael stood for a few seconds. He gasped for air. His body felt cold. His hand moved up to his chest. He felt the emptiness, the blood. He gasped again, choking. His eyes were shocked. He stared straight into Bianca's eyes the entire time. He stumbled back a few steps. His eyes slowly rolled back, and he crumpled to the ground. He was gone.
Bianca quickly let go of the gun, staring at Michael in shock. The gun swung down in Aidan's hand. I shot him. I shot the father of my child. His eyes had bored holes through her. He hadn't believed it would end this way. He thought he had won. She thought there might be some change in him. Maybe there would be, after death.
Kendall ran up to Bianca, holding her tightly. Aidan kneeled down by Michael. His eyes were still open. They were blank. He checked for a pulse, finding none. He lifted Michael's hand, watched the blood soak his shirt. He looked up at Bianca and Kendall. They all knew Bianca had shot him. It didn't matter though. It was clearly in self-defense.
"He's dead." Aidan stated quietly. He couldn't help but give a little smile. Kendall breathed a sigh of relief, hugging her sister tighter. Bianca was in disbelief. It didn't completely register with her. She started to shake. But, it was from joy. She hugged her sister back. They both laughed through their tears. Aidan stood up, given Michael a kick. He smiled at the sisters, taking them both by the arm.
Michael Cambias was gone. Bianca's rapist was dead. She walked through the door with Kendall and Aidan, him closing it behind them. She felt safe for the first time in a long time. Good-bye, Michael. And then she put him out of her life forever.
