Second two the right and straight on till morning

What a weird though to come rushing into Lacey's head. She had only ever head that saying in her dreams but what did it have to do with sitting by the window looking up at the starts. She hadn't even been thinking about that. She had been thinking of stories to write down. Ever since she was five Lacey had been into stories and always did they involve a flying boy. Peter Pan. She didn't know at that point in her life that Peter Pan was real and Neverland was just a flight away. At the age of seven she had been telling stories to her little brothers as the youngest slept in his cots and now her brothers where both nine and eleven and always pestering her with stories on Peter Pan.

"What happened? Tell us what happened Laceyyyyyyyyyyyyy"

Lacey had stopped telling the story as she got caught up in straight at the star to the right. It was glowing brighter tonight and she had never bothered to notice it but turning her head away from the window a wicked grin appeared on her face as she recalled where they where up to in the story. She was telling them the story of Peter Pan. So far they where up to the part where Peter lost his crow and the ability to fly. Both boys where hanging onto her every word and she wondered how long it would be until they both realised Peter wasn't going to die by Hook but not die at all. To Live would be an awfully big adventure.

"Well Hook had Peter cornered against the mass. His taunts had made Peter lose the ability to believe he could fly…"

"NOOO!"

Lacey grinned at the look on her youngest brothers face. His looks where pure classic to Lacey. She always had a way to make either one of them scared and with Jack it was easy as well. He was suck a trusting person and he believed everyone of Lacey's stories to be real and Lacey didn't have the heart to tell him other wise. What was so wrong with letting him grow up believing something to be true. He was only nine after all and she didn't want to wreck the story or anything to do with his believing either. She turned back to the window and glanced up at the starts once more.

"Neverland"

She muttered it under her breath and something caught her eyes on the bottom of the window and opening it she pushed it open and picked up Lacey a leaf. Where had this leaf come from? There where no trees or plants in London that held that type of leaf and … had never seen it anywhere before. Where had it come from if not from London and what was it doing on their Nursery room?

-------------------------That Night-------------------------

Lacey and her two brothers had been asleep for about three hours and her parents where down stairs watching television when the Nursery clock stopped and everything went deadly silent and the lights left on by their mother where blown out by an invisible wind and the window to the Nursery opened. A pair of bare, dirty feet landed in their room and he gleaned around letting his eyes fall on Lacey's bed. Gliding over to it he stopped next to her while placing his hand on her arm under the covers and shacking her while whispering.

"Wendy? Wendy? I've returned!"
