(A/N: Mmkay...so I think it's about time for an update. This lil chapter features the song "Out of the Blue" by Aly & AJ..so yeah. Read it. And review! Please?)

Amidst their journey home, Phil felt the need to chew some gum. He began digging through his bag. While searching, he found his cassette player that he only used to listen to Keely's tapes. Instantly, he remembered the tape that Keely had given him just before they departed. Forgetting everything else, he reached into his pocket and retrieved the little tape.

'I wonder what could be on it?' he thought to himself. He grabbed the tape player, slid the cassette in, and placed the headphones over his ears.

When something's pure
How can people just say we're not meant to be
And when something's true
How can people just keep me away from you

Suddenly I'm all alone
Pushed away from nothing wrong
Don't you have the guts to say
How you feel about me

'What the heck am I doing? I don't belong in the future! Well technically…NO! I belong with Keely!'

Out of the blue
They said that we couldn't be together
I have to get over you
We've been given no choice
We have no voice
Out of the blue

Can't even call on the telephone
Don't even know if you're at home
But to control just how we feel
Is between you and I, not for one to steal

Suddenly I'm all alone
Pushed away from nothing wrong
Don't you have the guts to say
How you feel about me

Out of the blue
They said we couldn't be together
I have to get over you

We've been given no choice
We have no voice

Just wanna hear what you've got to say
Are you feelin' the same, 'cuz I'm not OK
Thought when we met, there was something more
But the others said no -- they shut the door

Out of the blue
They said we couldn't be together
I have to get over you
We've been given no choice
We have no voice

Out of the blue
We knew we should've been together
Don't want to get over you
When love makes a choice
It has a voice

Out of the blue…

"Wow! She really is the greatest person ever!"

"Phil? Who are you talking to?" his mother asked him.

"Well it's obviously not Keely considering we live over a hundred years after her!" he said a little harsher than he meant to.

"Well isn't that a shame," Pim snickered. Phil eyed her angrily.

"I know you're sad Phil, but it has to be this way. Like I said earlier, it just wasn't meant to be," Lloyd spoke sympathetically.

"It's not just that I'm sad, I can't…I can't live without her." Phil confessed, "She's everything. She's my whole world! Without her, I have nothing. I am nothing."

"You still have your family," Barb commented.

"But Mom, it's not the same. You should know that. She even wrote me an extremely beautiful song that is also so depressing because of how true it is." He didn't like exposing this much of his soul to his parents but he had to. It was for Keely. It would be his only chance to get her back. "She loves me and I love her. We know we're supposed to be together and you two just keep shutting the door." So many emotions were running through his head now. "People always say home is where the heart is. None of mine is in 2121; it's all in 2007. It belongs to Keely one hundred percent."

His mother was becoming deeply saddened. 'My little boy is growing up so fast! He loves another more than anything in the world and we're just holding him back. We don't belong in the past though. What are we supposed to do?'

"What were you saying about a song?" she asked.

"She wrote it for me the other day when I told her we were leaving and she gave it to me like twenty minutes before we left. It's on this tape here."

Then she asked, "Can I listen to it?"

'I really would rather not share it with other people. It's kind of just between me and Keel. I don't know if she would like me to share her revealing herself in such a way but it may help get me to be with her once again.' He considered his options.

"Sure," he finally said, handing the player over to his mother.

She listened intently to the smooth music. When the song was over she was about to press the stop button she heard Keely whisper one last thing. "Remember that I am yours. Only yours. That's all I'll ever be." The player clicked to a stop as Barb sat there shocked. 'Wow. Their love is so pure and so true.'

"Can I have it back now, Mom?"

"Umm…sure." She had some serious discussing to do with her husband once they finally reached their destination.
