Having A Dream

Our story begins with Ralph running on frozen water with a raven guiding him to go somewhere. Just then a loud rumble had begun and made a huge crack on the ice which made some of it shape into a huge wall. Ralph had stopped running but once he did, he began sliding towards it and slid up and down it until he finally stopped. Once he stopped, he looked up at the wall when a huge piece of it broke off and fell towards Ralph. Ralph then ran away with the raven following him when the wall began to collapse one by one, making ice floes everywhere. Before Ralph could go any further though, a crack was coming towards him which went underneath him and made him fly in the air. He then landed on an ice floe that is floating towards a pack of wolves with the raven high in the sky. He was almost close to the pack when he heard Zangief calling his name.

Zangief: Ralph, wake up!

Zangief then splashed some water on him to wake him up which it did. Ralph jolted awake and was wondering why Zangief had woken him up.

Ralph: What? What? What's the matter?

Zangief: The matter is, you were having dream again.

He then gave out a scream when Ralph began shaking the water off of him and laid back down again to get some more rest but Zangief wasn't letting him. He held Ralph's face and began holding Ralph's eyes up to keep them open until Ralph had shook him off.

Zangief: Aah! Ugh!

Ralph: So what if I was? It's just a dream.

Zangief: This 'just a dream' is keeping you from a decent sleep. And if your eyes get any droopier, you'll have to keep them open with toothpicks.

Ralph: Zangief, they'll stop drooping if you just go away and let me get some rest.

Zangief: Wrong! You won't be getting rest-not with that dream hanging 'round like… dark cloud.

Ralph: I hate it when you get dramatic.

Zangief: How else to reach you?

He then grabbed Ralph's chin again and tried to make him understand that his dream means something, but Ralph wasn't listening. He shook Zangief's wing off of him and stood up.

Zangief: I'm telling you, Boychick, if you keep having same dream again and again, it means something!

Ralph: Zangief, dreams don't mean anything, they're just-dreams.

He then began yawning while Zangief was still skeptical and not buying that dreams are just dreams. Ralph then began to walk off the boat while talking to Zangief.

Ralph: Now, you wanna come with me? I have to go check on Felix.

Zangief: Of course I come! I'm not finished nagging you yet!

They kept on walking to town while they were still talking about Ralph's dream.

Zangief: So, if dreams mean nothing, why does it always have raven and pack of wolves, huh! Why not pickled herring?

Ralph: Because herring would be in one of your dreams, not mine.

Zangief: Precisely! Raven and wolves have meaning only to you.

He then gave a gasp and grabbed Ralph's neck fur when they walked near a totem pole. He then pulled Ralph towards it so he could look at the animals that were on it. He was freaking out really bad, but Ralph was trying to calm him down.

Zangief: Ralph, look! On totem pole-there is raven and wolf!

Ralph: Calm down, Zangief. There's also a fox, a wolverine-

Zangief: Oy, such scary creatures! They should only live and be well… far away from me.

Ralph: And a bear and a caribou.

He then walked past the pole while still talking to Zangief who was still looking at the totem pole.

Ralph: They're just wood carvings, Zangief.

Zangief: Yes, I know, I know. Humans use them to tell stories. But of what, I don't know.

He then ran to Ralph before he could go any further to talk to him more about the animals and Ralph's dream.

Zangief: Ralph, maybe seeing raven and wolf on totem pole… is making you dream something very important.

Ralph: Well, like what?

Zangief: Like something you forgot, or maybe something you are supposed to know.

That didn't convince Ralph though because he didn't believe in that and started walking again with Zangief a bit behind him.

Ralph: Look, Zangief, all I know is that the totem pole marks the shortcut to Felix's, and that's good enough for me.

Zangief: Oh, boy! Stubborn. Ach!

They finally made it into town while walking in the direction where Felix's house is.
