The Animal Totems

Back at the boat, Ralph was curled up in his blanket, trying to get some sleep. He began tossing and turning while talking in his sleep.

Ralph: What is it? What do you want?

He began thrashing around and yelling. In his dream, he was running away from the raven and the raven kept on following him. He kept on running when he saw a whole herd of caribou running in front of him. The ice had broken into ice floes so the caribou could get to the other side of the ocean. Then a female voice started talking and showing him the totem pole.

Female Voice: My son, you need to know the animal totems… who will help guide you now. The Fox-The Cunning Trickster. The Wolverine-Your Fears. The Bear-Inner Knowing. Caribou-Life.

It then got to the wolf which started howling and then his dream ended. It is now early morning when Ralph was woken up by Zombie who was grabbing his blanket and looking inside it for something or someone but couldn't find it, so he dropped the blanket on top of Ralph's head.

Ralph: Huh? Oh. Huh?

When Zombie started sneaking to another part of the boat, Clyde had snuck right behind him and walked under Zombie making him lift up his legs so Clyde could get through. Ralph had finally managed to pop his head out of the blanket and asked them what they are up to which Clyde answered while he looked through a huge crate and made a shush sound at Ralph.

Ralph: What are you two doing?

Clyde: Shh! We're here to play with Vanellope.

They began looking around frantically which made them trip and fall which made Ralph close his eyes when they fell very hard on the floor. Clyde was on top of Zombie's stomach with Zombie on his back, looking very sad.

Clyde: But Vanellope's not here to play.

Zombie: No, no, no, no.

Ralph got up and stretched and yawned before he answered them and looked around when he realized something.

Ralph: She's around here somewhere, I-Wait a minute.

He turned back to them and asked them something about Vanellope which they answered sadly.

Ralph: You mean you can't find her?

Clyde: Uh, no.

Zombie: No, no.

Ralph: I just wanted to give her some time. I was sure she'd come home.

He then remembered the one other place that Vanellope could have gone to when she was upset or something.

Ralph: She's gotta be at her mother's.

He ran and jumped off the boat and headed towards Felix's house while Clyde and Zombie had stayed behind and cried.

Clyde: I know. I wish we had a mum, too.

They began hugging each tightly and began sobbing very hard.
