Where's Vanellope?
Ralph had ran to town but stopped when he got to the totem pole. He began looking around it while stopping in front of the wolf's face. He looked at it for a bit but stopped and ran towards Felix's home. He finally made it and climbed on top of some crates that are stacked up against the house so he could look through the open window on the second floor. When he did, he saw Felix laying and sleeping on a rug. He silently called Felix's name which woke him up. He saw Ralph looking through the window and got closer to talk to him.
Ralph: Psst! Felix!
Felix: Ralph! What are you doing here so early?
When Ralph looked away sadly, Felix became worried and asked him something about Vanellope.
Felix: Is Vanellope all right?
Ralph: I don't know. I was hoping she was with you. She's… kinda mad at me.
Felix: Stay there.
He ran down the stairs, out the front door and went in the back to see that Ralph was still on top of the crates and told him to tell him what's going on.
Felix: Now, tell me what happened.
Ralph started climbing down the crates and made it all the way down so he could answer him. But when he did, Felix gave out a gasp and was very worried, but Ralph had reassured him that mostly everything was fine.
Ralph: A hunter took aim at her.
Felix: Oh, no.
Ralph: No, no, don't worry. We got away. But I-I finally had to tell her how humans see her.
Felix: You mean, you told her about being part-
Ralph: Yes. We should have done it sooner. I know that now. She's so angry with me. She must have run away.
Felix: Run away?
Felix then began looking around frantically while Ralph was explaining to him while trying to calm him down.
Ralph: I'm sorry, Felix. I never thought it would turn out this way. I thought I could keep her safe.
Felix: But she's not safe now. She's running wild! We've got to find her.
Ralph: No, not you, Felix. This is my fault, and it's something that Vanellope and I have to work together. Don't worry. I'll find her.
Felix: Oh.
They rubbed their heads together and Ralph ran off to go find Vanellope. He made it back to the boat and began sniffing to where Vanellope was last seen at. He got her scent and ran in the same direction that she took. He ran down the hill and on top of a huge rock to look over the stream. He lost the scent and walked off the rock to find Vanellope's scent. Before he could though, the fog rolled in from behind and formed a face of a wolf. Feeling that someone was behind him, Ralph turned around only to see that there was nothing there. Then the raven appeared again in front of him and landed on a tree branch.
Ralph: You. What is it you want?
It then flew down on a spot of the ground and flew on another branch. It was trying to tell Ralph to follow it which he finally caught on.
Ralph: Am I supposed to follow you?
The raven answered 'yes' and flew away which made Ralph run after it.
Ralph: Alright. But only if you help me find my daughter.
They went to the right but Ralph had lost track of the raven because the fog had gotten so thick that he couldn't see. He began calling out, hoping that the raven would hear him when he heard a female voice call out to him from a log that's hanging over the stream.
Ralph: Wait! I can't follow you in this. Where are you?
Female Voice: Where are you?
Ralph: Here. Keep talking, and I'll find you.
He began walking slowly on the log because it was slippery when he lost his footing a little bit which made chips of the bark fall in the water.
Ralph: Uh-Mmm-
He regained his footing and heard a sound coming from up ahead, so he kept on walking. He then saw a silhouette of a figure moving a branch back and forth. When he got closer, he heard his mother's voice telling him of the animal.
Mother's Voice: The Cunning Trickster.
When the fog finally lifted, it showed that the animal turned out to be a female fox who had a rope tied around her neck with her left, front leg also caught in the rope which was tied to the branch that he saw moving earlier. When he realized that it was someone else, Ralph became upset and the fox had caught him on it.
Female Fox: You look disappointed.
Ralph: Sorry. I-I thought that you might be a raven.
Fox: And I thought that you might be a hunter. But unlike you, I'm not disappointed. Say, I'll help you find your daughter if you'll help me out of this trap.
That perked Ralph up and made him wonder how she knew that, so he asked her about it.
Ralph: How did you know I'm looking for my daughter?
Fox: The raven told me.
Ralph: What do you know about the raven?
Fox: Less than you, I'm sure. Now, do we have a deal, or don't we?
Ralph: Yes. But no tricks.
He grabbed the rope, took it off of her and threw it over the log. Once he did that, the fox went underneath him and attempted to push him into the raging water.
Ralph: There. Now, how can you help me find my daughter?
Fox: Easy. By giving you a little push.
She was finally able to push him in the water which made him have to fight against a current to stay above the water. When he managed to keep his head out of the water, he started yelling at the fox.
Ralph: Why did you do that? Help me!
Fox: Oh, but I did. And now you must help yourself.
The current kept on pushing him away until he managed to hang on to a huge rock.
Ralph: Are you crazy? The current is too strong!
Fox: Then let the current take you!
He lost his grip on the rock and the current kept on pushing him further away when he had lost consciousness.
