Raven sat on her bed thinking about a certain grass stain. She sighed and looked at her clock. 2:30 am. 'ive been thinking about this for 4 and a half hours.' She thought. 'I need some tea.' She went down the hall and passed beastboy's room. She couldn't help but smile at the thought of him. She mentally slapped herself for thinking about bb like that. She continued to walk to the kitchen. When she entered the room she saw that no one was there. After starting to boil water she sat down and waited for it to be done. When the water was fully boiling she poured some tea and sat back down to drink her tea in peace. She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't notice someone enter after her. Just as they were nearing her, the floor gave a squeak at suddenly she was on her feet and her hands glowing black. The intruder stumbled back and fell over a book, which had been left on the floor, and landed hard on the ground.
"Ow" they said. Raven immediately recognized the voice. She glided to beastboy's side and helped him up. "jeez rae are you always on defense?" he asked rubbing his head.
"Sorry beastboy you just startled me." She said in her usual monotone and sat down to enjoy the rest of her tea. He went over to the fridge and looked for some tofu. Once he found it he placed it into the microwave and set it to 1 minute. After his tofu was heated he got a fork and ssat down across from raven. They ate and drank in silence for a few minutes when raven broke it.
"Hey bb? Why are you up? It's like almost 3 in the morning." He swallowed before answering.
"Well I've been thinking a lot lately about this girl." He answered and looked down at his food.
"Maybe I could help." Raven suggested. He looked like he was thinking this over.
"Well maybe. It's kind of complicated." He responded.
"I can help" raven pressed.
"Ok well this girl she's so much different than me. We fight almost every time we see each other. I hate it. I hate the way she makes me feel. I hate how she treats me. I hate how she never respects me." He said. Slightly raising his voice.
"So I take it you hate this girl and want to know how to get rid of her." Raven asked in her usual monotone.
"No actually I don't hate her." Bb said and looked at her. "I love her." Raven was slightly taken aback by this. She quickly recovered.
"Well does she know how you feel?" she asked.
"No I can't tell her. What if she feels weird around me after cuz she doesn't feel the same way?" Bb reasoned.
"But what if she feels the same and you never tell her then you have just missed out on everything." Ravens walked over to the sink and cleaned her cup then put it back on the shelf and walked past bb and pat him on his shoulder. "You have to give it a shot." She whispered then went back to her room. When she lied back on her bed and started thinking about what bb was talking about. She felt like her heart was being ripped out at the thought of bb liking someone else. Yet she felt flutters in her stomach at the thought that it could be her. She fell into a fitful sleep.
