Chapter 18: Mirror, Mirror
Natsu had his head on the table he was still in shock about the news from the other day.
(Flashback)
Natsu told Happy what he just found out.
"What no way you're Dragon Knight!" yelled Happy in shock.
"Yeah." Said Natsu, "And I didn't even know until now."
Natsu held up the Orange Rainbow Crystal.
"I think it was this that let me remember." Said Natsu.
There was a silence.
"This is bad! REALLY BAD!" yelled Natsu freaking out.
"Why can't you just tell them the truth?" asked Happy.
"I can't do that!" yelled Natsu, "They won't believe me!"
Happy sweat dropped as Natsu was freaking out.
"Wait, how did you even get to where they were?" asked Happy.
"Apparently as Dragon Knight I get more powers." Said Natsu.
"I see…" said Happy, "Look on the bright side."
"What bright side?" asked Natsu.
"At least you didn't fall asleep in the bathroom like we thought." Said Happy.
Natsu stared at Happy.
"If you tell them you'll be living with your parents for a while." Deadpanned Natsu.
"No! Pleas don't! I don't want to!" yelled Happy.
(End of Flashback)
"Hey Natsu are you okay?" asked Lisanna.
Natsu bolted up.
"I'm totally fine!" said Natsu, "Nothing to worry about!"
"Lisanna! Master wants to speak to us." Said Luna.
"Okay." Said Lisanna she turned to Natsu, "Sorry, we'll talk later."
"Yeah." Said Natsu.
Meanwhile in the Dark Kingdom, Zoisite used the Dark Crystal to once again find the next Rainbow Crystal carrier. The crystal revealed a woman with green hair, dark skin and wore a dark red gem on her forehead long with a hat with the Phantom Lord Guild Logo on it.
"So a member of Phantom Lord…" said Zoisite, "This should be fun."
Back at Fairy Tail, Luna and Lisanna went to the office. Makarov has his back turned to them.
"What do you need to talk about?" asked Lisanna.
"I just got a letter from the Magic Counsel…" said Makarov, "It was about Erigor and his Guild' plan…"
"Are they angry?" asked Levy.
Makarov was giving a huge smile.
"IF they were they're not telling me!" said Makarov, "You stopped them before they could even do anything!"
"What really?" asked Cana.
"They found the location of Lullaby, they haven't retrieved it yet but they were planning to unleash during the next Master's Meetings." Said Makarov, "With that evidence they took out Eisenwald right away."
"Oh wow!" said Lisanna.
"I admit you got lucky Erigor was the Rainbow Crystal Carrier, but still you saved many people that day." Said Makarov.
"So is there something else you need to talk about?" asked Erza.
"Oh yes, there was a particular job request I just received." Said Makarov.
HE showed it them.
"Retrieve and protect the 7 Rainbow Crystals." Read Erza, "For each crystal you protect you will receive 400,000 Jewel."
"Why would someone send it." Said Cana.
"I think I know." Said Luna, "Do you have a Communication Lacrima I can use?"
Makarov took it out and Luna called the person she wanted or rather it was the voice.
"Hello Luna, Sailor Guardians and Makarov it's so nice to finally meet you." Said the voice, "I take it you saw the job I gave you."
"Where did you get the money?" asked Luna.
"I know someone who agreed to finance the job." Said the voice.
"Who?" asked Luna.
"Don't worry, just someone I know." Said the voice, "I'll tell you another time. He was actually shocked at such a low per crystal."
"400,000 per crystal is low?" asked Cana.
The voice sighed.
"He doesn't have a good grasp on money." Said the voice.
This just made everyone sweat drop.
"How rich is the guy?" asked Cana.
"I have no idea." Said Levy.
"I know that both the Dark Kingdom and Dragon Knight each have one, but as long as you have one it will be fine." Said the voice, "Contact me when you do mange to retrieve one."
With that the mysterious voice ended the call.
"I guess we should go find the next one." Said Cana.
Cana began to use her cards to determine the next one. After a few minutes she managed to find out the location.
"It's on the way to Oak Town." Said Cana.
"On the way?" asked Erza.
At least it's not in there." Sighed Lisanna.
Oak Town was the strong hold of Phantom Lord, which if needed a reminder did not get along with Fairy Tail.
"We have to go." Said Lisanna.
The others nodded and went to leave.
As they walked though the Guild Hall, Natsu realized something.
"Where are you headed?" asked Natsu.
"Oh the next one is on the way to Oak Town." Said Lisanna.
"Oh okay… good luck." Said Natsu.
"Thanks." Said Lisanna.
Natsu knew what to do.
Happy!" he called out.
"What!" cried Happy who was even more worried about being sent to his parent's house.
"Come on! I have a plan to make things right." Said Natsu.
"Get advice from Maxfield?" asked Happy.
"No better." Said Natsu.
"What could be better?" asked Happy.
"You'll see!" said Natsu.
Sometime later on the road that was in-between Magnolia and Oak Town. A team of Phantom Lord Mages walked.
Two of them were Gajeel and Pantherlily. The other two were named Sue and Boze. The two of them sometimes tagged along with Gajeel Pantherlily on jobs.
Boze was a man with dark skin, bald wearing a pair of gold sunglasses with purple lenses , one of which were broken (yeah, he was aware, he just preferred the style).
Sue was a short woman with green hair, dark skin and wore a dark red gem on her forehead long with a hat with the Phantom Lord Guild Logo on it.
Indeed Sue was the one that Zoisite saw. But of course none of them were away of it.
As they walked Sue was trying to get on with a conversation with Pantherlily who tried to ignore her.
Not too far away down the road, Team Lisana were walking as well.
"Do you think we'll end up fighting from Phantom Lord?" asked Cana.
"If they attack us we won't fight back." Said Erza.
"Yeah, no matter what we've done recently we'd still get in trouble." Said Levy.
That was when the Moon Stick began to beep.
"Looks like we're close." Said Luna.
They decided to run the rest of the way just in case the carrier was being attacked.
Back with Gajeel's team, he stopped.
"What is it?" axed Pantherlily.
"We have company." Said Gajeel.
"Who?" asked Boze.
"Fairy Tail." Said Gajeel.
"What?" said Boze.
That was when they saw Team Lisanna.
"Well, well isn't it Titania, Demon's little sister and the shrimp." Said Gajeel.
"What brings Fairy Tail around here?" asked Sue.
"We can explain." Said Erza.
"Oh really?" asked Sue.
"It's not a good idea to fight them." Said Pantherlily being the voice of reason.
"Wait he's right!" said Sue.
"What why?" asked Boze.
"They have a doggy too!" said Sue looking at Luna.
This just made everyone sweat drop.
"Seriously!" yelled Boze.
"That's a girl…" said Gajeel.
"Oh seriously?" asked Sue she said glaring at Pantherlily.
"She's just a friend." Said Pantherlily.
"Oh really…" muttered Sue.
"You said you had an explanation." Said Gajeel realizing it was better to ignore her.
"The Dark Kingdom is after one of you." Said Erza.
"What?" asked Gajeel.
"The Dark Kingdom?" asked Sue.
"Aren't those the people who tried to steal that stupid stature from the ball?" asked Boze.
"So I get to fight Nephrite again?" asked Gajeel with a smirk.
"Nephrite is no longer part of the Dark Kingdom, someone else is." Said Erza.
"And how do you know?" asked Boze.
"Well this wand can detect who their after." Said Lisanna.
"Well that's how you're able to find them." Said Zoisite appearing.
That was when Zoisite flung the Fairy Tail members away.
"I'll have to find them later." Said Zoisite.
Zoisite turned towards Sue.
"You're the one I want." Said Zoisite.
Before Zoisite could do anything he had to dodge an attack from Gajeel.
"I'd like it if you didn't attack my underling." Said Gajeel.
"Underling?" asked Zoisite, "Wow Phantom Lord is different than Fairy Tail…"
Zoisite flung away Gajeel as well.
But since he was a Dragon Slayer he knew it wouldn't last long.
And it didn't, Zoisite had to once again attack an attack from the iron club.
"Seriously!" yelled Zoisite.
In a tree not top far away was most of Team Lisanna.
"Is everyone okay?" asked Lisana.
"I'm fine." Said Cana.
"Me too." Said Levy.
"Good you're all right!" said Luna flying towards the tree.
"We were worried." Said Erza in her black wing armor.
"Seriously!" yelled Cana.
They all got out of the tree as Erza requiped into her Heart Kreuz Armor.
"Transform now!" said Luna.
"Right!" said Lisanna.
"Moon Prism Power!" called out Lisanna.
"Mercury Power!" called out Levy.
"Mars Power!" called out Erza.
"Jupiter Power!" called out Cana.
"Make-Up!" called out all three.
All four of them transformed.
Back with the fight, Gajeel continued to fight with Zoisite. Gajeel noticed that Pantherlily, Sue and Boze hadn't run yet.
"What are you waiting for!" yelled Gajeel, "Run!"
Sue began to run however Zoisite distracted Gajeel with illusionary cherry blossoms.
"It's time to reveal your true self!" said Zoisite.
Zoisite shined the light of on Sue who screamed in pain as yellow light shined on her, suddenly the Rainbow Crystal came out which Zoisite caught. Then she was suddenly enveloped in a cocoon of yellow mirrors, which shattered to reveal she was a silver cat.
"So it's good to see you again Mirreow." Said Zoisite with an evil smirk.
"Hold right there!" called out Sailor Moon.
Zoisite and the monster Mirreow.
"I am the pretty sailor-suited guardian of love and justice Sailor Moon! In the name of the moon I will punish you!" called out Sailor Moon.
"I am the pretty sailor-suited guardian of love and intelligence Sailor Mercury! Douse your head in water and repent!" called out Sailor Mercury.
"I am the pretty sailor-suited guardian of Fire and Passion, Sailor Mars! In the name of Mars, I will chastise you!" called out Sailor Mars.
"I am the pretty sailor-suited guardian of love and courage Sailor Jupiter! I'll make you feel so much regret it will be make you feel numb!" called out Sailor Jupiter.
"what?" asked Zoisite.
"Oh man…" said Sailor Moon.
"I thought the speeches stopped." Sighed Sailor Mercury as for some reason they didn't say them in the last battle.
"It is really that big of a problem?" asked Sailor Jupiter.
"Not really." Answered Sailor Mars.
"What are you wearing?" asked Gajeel.
"We should we tell you anything?" asked Sailor Jupiter.
"After all Phantom Lord and Fairy Tail don't' get along… it's just our job to stop the Dark Kingdom and get the Rainbow Crystals." Explained Sailor Mars.
"You're the ones that can heal them." Muttered Zoisite, "I'm not going to let you change them back or get your hands on the Rainbow Crystal."
That was when Zoisite was struck from behind by Gajeel's iron club making him drop the Rainbow Crystal.
Sailor Mercury managed to catch it.
"Thank you." She said Gajeel.
"Why you!" cursed Zoisite, "Mirreow! Take care of them all!"
"Yes milady!" said Mirreow.
"What did you call me!" yelled Zoisite.
"What aren't you a woman?" asked Mirreow.
"Great… she's an idiom…" muttered Zoisite, "I'm leaving… You better beat them…"
With that Zoisite teleported away.
"So what's going on exactly?" asked Boze.
"Don't' worry, we can handle it." Said Sailor Jupiter.
"I can change her back." Said Sailor Moon.
"You better!" said Boze, "I'd rather not see what Master Jose would do to us if we don't turned her back to normal."
"Jupiter!" said Sailor Mars.
"Right!" said Sailor Jupiter.
"Fire Soul!"
"Supreme Thunder!"
Both attack were sent at Mirreow. However the cat like monster created a two mirrors, once the attack hit they were absorbed then sent back at them. Thankfully they both dodged.
"What kind of magic does she use?" asked Sailor Mercury.
"Mirror Magic." Said Boze.
"I have an idea… but I think we will need your help." Said Sailor Mercury.
"All right." Said Pantherlily turning into his human form.
"Good idea." Said Boze.
"Fine…" muttered Gajeel.
"Okay…" said Sailor Mercury.
"Bubble Spray!"
The fog rolled in.
"That's your magic when you're dressed up like this?" asked Gajeel.
Sailor Mercury glared at him.
"All right… what's the plan." Asked Pantherlily.
Meanwhile Mirreow was confused.
"Where are you! Show yourself"! yelled Mirreow.
That was when she was attack from behind by Gajeel and Pantherlily. She put up her mirrors but all it did was block the attacks.
"What!" yelled Mirreow.
"Now Sailor Moon!" called Sailor Mercury.
"Right!" said Sailor Moon.
"Moon Healing Escalation!"
The light shined on Mirreow, as it did Mirreow showed "Refresh!"
With that she turned back into Sue.
"All right!" said Sailor Moon as the fog disappeared, "We did it!"
"Okay… seriously!" yelled Gajeel, "What's going on!"
"Well I guess we should explain." Sighed Sailor Moon.
They gave a quick explanation about the 7 Monsters and the Rainbow Crystals.
"So wait, she was a cat monster in her past life?" asked Boze.
"Well that would explain her thing about moon cats." Sighed Pantherlily.
"What?" asked Sailor Mercury.
"Don't ask." Said Pantherlily.
"Eww…" said Sailor Jupiter.
"Ow… what happened?" asked Sue when she woke up.
They explained her what happened leaving out the reincarnation thing.
"So I was turned into an evil dog and you turned me back?" asked Sue.
"No… you were turned into a cat." Said Sailor Mars with a sweat drop.
"She calls cats dogs and dogs cats…" muttered Pantherlily.
"Seriously." Said Sailor Jupiter.
"Either way thank you so much!" said Sue, "You guys are pretty cool for members of Fairy Tail."
"She right." Said Boze.
"Now's not the time for this." Said Gajeel, "We have to get back to the Guild…"
"Oh right." Said Boze.
"Once again thanks." Said Sue.
They all headed to Oak Town.
Gajeel looked at the Sailor Guardians and continued on his way.
"Gajeel…" said Pantherlily.
"Yeah… it's them." Said Gajeel.
"I guess we owe them." Said Pantherlily.
Gajeel didn't say anything in response.
Meanwhile the Sailor Guardians turned back when they were at a good enough distance. Luna had joined them when they changed back.
"Well Gajeel knows who we are." Sighed Levy.
"What are you sure?" asked Cana.
"He sure acted like it." Said Erza.
"And considering he's a dragon Slayer." Said Lisanna.
"On the bright side." Said Luna.
Levy held up the yellow Rainbow Crystal.
"We got the Rainbow Crystal!" cheered Lisanna.
Nearby Dragon Knight was watching them.
"Great, I missed my chance." Muttered Dragon Knight.
"What was your plan again?" asked Happy.
"I was planning to give them the crystal during the battle." Said Dragon Knight.
"I see." Said Happy with a sweat drop, "Why did you even take the crystal in the first place?"
"I don't' know… okay…" muttered Dragon Knight.
"Let's go back to the Guild." Sighed Happy.
"Yeah…" sighed Dragon Knight.
And so they got the yellow Rainbow Crystal if it wasn't for Gajeel. But little did they know was that what happened here that day would help with something else down the line… something that none for the time behind see coming.
Next Time: The Thunder Legion return to Fairy Tail. However it seems like one of them might be the next Rainbow Crystal Carrier. Thankfully they get help from an expected Source. Will they be able to retrieve the next Crystal? And will Dragon Knight be able to give the Sailor Guardians his? Find out next time!
