Chapter 19: Stoned
It was just a normal day in the Guild Hall. Mirajane had started a fight with Erza.
"Come on Thunder Thighs I'm in the mood for a fight!" yelled Mirajane.
"What did you call me?" asked Erza glaring at her.
Nearby Lisanna was showing Natsu the Rainbow Crystal at table.
"So this is a Rainbow Crystal." Said Natsu playing dumb.
"Yeah." Said Lisanna, "So it's one between each group."
"Oh right… with the Dark Kingdom and… Dragon Knight." Said Natsu almost freaking out.
"Natsu are you okay?" asked Lisanna.
"I'm fine." Said Natsu.
AT the bar Cana was performing the search for the fourth Rainbow Crystal… however
"Come on!" yelled Cana.
"What's wrong?" asked Maxfield.
"Every time I do it won't give the location!" said Cana.
"I wonder why." Said Maxfield, "I mean the other two times it worked, right?"
"I don't know." Said Cana.
That was when the jewel started to blink.
"Wait…" said Cana.
"That mean's their close by, right?" asked Maxfield.
That was when three people walked in that made the Guild go silent.
One was man with long green hair that had stage almost lighting shaped hair antenna. He was dressed nice and a rapier on his waist.
The second was a woman with brown hair that a placed in a stylish bun. She was a green dress and held a fan.
The last was dressed in a strange stripped outfit with an armor visor covering his eyes, for some reason strange dolls floated besides him.
Each one was a member of the guild, the first man had his guild mark on his hand, the woman above one of her breasts and the second man on his tonged.
"Who are they?" asked Luna.
"The Thunder Legion." Said Lisanna.
Luna had heard of them, after all she knew about all of the women of the guild, and since they weren't there that often Luna doubted that Evergreen (the woman) was a Sailor Guardian.
The other two were Freed (the first man) and Bickslow (the second man).
"So we have a new Bar Tender." Said Evergreen.
"So is Laxus with you?" asked Erza so they wouldn't cause problems with Maxfield.
"No, we just came here to pick up a few new jobs." Said Freed.
"I see." Said Erza.
Bickslow noticed the Rainbow Crystal on the table, he walked over and picked up it.
"What's this thing?" asked Bickslow.
"Give that back!" yelled Lisanna, "I'm supposed to protecting it for my job."
Bickslow gave a good look then tossed it back to Lisanna.
"Here it looks worthless." Laughed Bickslow.
"Worthless! Worthless!" laughed the dolls with him.
Natsu glared at the guy.
"He gave it back so there's no problem." Said Luna.
"Yeah…" muttered Natsu.
What they didn't noticed was that Bickslow looked at Wakaba.
"I thought so." He thought to himself, "His is gone."
He looked at Evergreen.
"Great… something's going on." He thought.
Not too long later, the Sailor Guardians had a meeting.
"So it's one of the Thunder Legion." Sighed Levy.
"It started going off when they got in." said Cana.
"This isn't good." Said Erza.
"Why?" asked Luna.
"Knowing them they're going to leave soon." Said Cana.
That was when they heard Evergreen shout "What!"
They turned to where the Thunder Legion was sitting.
"Come on, I need a break… so let's just stay at the guild for a while." Said Bickslow, "We go on so many jobs it will be nice to take a break every once in a while."
The other two stared at him.
"You know you might be right." Said Freed.
"What?" asked Evergreen, "You can't be serious."
"Come on Evers." Said Bickslow.
"Fine, but only because you two are doing it." Muttered Evergreen.
However neither Freed or Evergreen noticed the smirk Bickslow was giving Team Lisanna.
That night Lisanna and Luna were walking home.
"I hope when the Dark Kingdom attack they're still in town." Said Lisanna.
"I do too." Sighed Luna.
"There you are! I was looking all over for you." Said a voice.
Lisanna and Luna jumped into the air.
"What do you want?" asked Luna.
"I know about that Crystal in Evergreen." Said Bickslow.
"What?" asked Luna.
"There's no crystal in Evergreen, I have no idea what you're talking about." Said Lisanna.
"Seriously you're playing dumb?" asked Bickslow.
"Playing dumb! Playing dumb!" said the dolls.
"Do you really want to cause problems right now?" asked Natsu showing up.
"Look I'm not trying to cause problems!" said Bickslow.
"You have a funny way of showing it." Said Natsu.
"Whatever." Muttered Bickslow as he began to leave.
"He knows about the Rainbow Crystals…" said Lisanna once he was out of earshot.
"Seriously wait… how?" asked Natsu.
"I'm pretty sure his magic gives him the ability to see in people's souls." Said Happy suddenly showing up, "He could probably see Evergreen has a rainbow crystal."
"How do you know that?" asked Natsu.
Happy shrugged, "Just something I know." Said Happy.
"Seriously?" asked Luna with a sweat drop.
The next day, Lisanna and Luna the rest of them at the bar.
"So he can see the Rainbow Crystals." Said Levy.
"Great why him…" muttered Cana.
"As long as he doesn't cause too much trouble it's fine." Said Luna.
"Maybe he's just trying to help you." Said Maxfield.
"Maybe…" said Lisanna.
"By the way Lisanna there's something I need to ask you." Said Maxfield.
"What?" asked Lisanna.
He asked the question, which surprised Lisanna.
"Are you sure you want that?" asked Lisanna.
"I'm sure." Said Maxfield.
"I'll do it later." Said Lisanna.
"Thank you." Said Maxfield.
Meanwhile in the Dark Kingdom. Zoisite poured energy into the Dark Crystal and it showed an image of Evergreen.
"So another member of Fairy Tail is my next target." Said Zoisite, "I didn't see that coming."
Zoisite smirked, this would be the best chance to take out some members of Fairy Tail.
Later that day the Thunder Legion were walking to a restaurant.
"Say Bickslow, when are you going to be done with your break?" asked Evergreen.
"It's only been a day." Said Bickslow.
"A day, a day." Said the dolls.
"Did something happen?" asked Freed.
Evergreen froze.
"Well last night I could have sworn someone was watching me." Said Evergreen.
"Who would watch you at your place?" asked Bickslow.
"I have no idea." Muttered Evergreen.
"No one in their right mind would spy on Fairy Hills." Said Freed.
Fairy Hills was a dormitory for female members of the guild. Evergreen lived there (when she was in town) as well as Erza and Levy.
It was those two that made sure nothing happened to her during the night, which was the creepy feeling she was getting.
"It was probably all in your head." Said Bickslow.
"In your head! In your head." Said his dolls.
Evergreen rolled her eyes.
"You know maybe it's not all in your head." Said a voice.
That was when Zoisite appeared in a flurry of cherry blossoms.
"Who are you?" asked Evergreen.
"I guess you haven't heard much of the Dark Kingdom, then again you're never around." Said Zoisite.
"I thought it was just a rumor." Said Evergreen.
"If I were to guess you're after that crystal." Said Bickslow.
"You know about the Rainbow Crystal?" asked Zoisite, "How?"
"Having a crystal embedded in someone's soul is something that will stand our you know." Said Bickslow.
"What was you even talking about?" asked Evergreen.
"I never told you but you have a crystal inside of your soul." Said Bickslow.
"Why do I have a Crystal in my soul?" asked Evergreen.
"Don't ask me. I only know you and a couple other people have them." Said Bickslow.
"And you never told me…" muttered Evergreen.
"Oh you want to know." Said Zoisite, "You're not human."
"What?" asked Evergreen.
Before Zoisite could explain there was a shout of "Supreme Thunder!"
Zoisite had to dodge the lighting attack.
That as when he noticed the Sailor Guardians.
Of course it was time for the speeches.
"I am the pretty sailor-suited guardian of love and justice Sailor Moon! In the name of the moon I will punish you!" called out Sailor Moon.
"I am the pretty sailor-suited guardian of love and intelligence Sailor Mercury! Douse your head in water and repent!" called out Sailor Mercury.
"I am the pretty sailor-suited guardian of Fire and Passion, Sailor Mars! In the name of Mars, I will chastise you!" called out Sailor Mars.
"I am the pretty sailor-suited guardian of love and courage Sailor Jupiter! I'll make you feel so much regret it will be make you feel numb!" called out Sailor Jupiter.
The Thunder Legion and Zoisite stared at them.
That was when Bickslow started laughing hysterically.
"Oh that man that hilarious! Those speeches were great." He laughed.
"So these are the Sailor Guardian I heard so much about." Said Freed.
"Who are they kidding with those outfits." Muttered Evergreen.
The Sailor Guardians all sweat dropped.
"You know I was expecting Laxus and I got the ones who could turn the Great Monsters to normal… oh well my trap will still work." Said Zoisite.
That was when the ground exploded sending all of the members of Fairy Tail flying.
"I learned my lesson from Gajeel." Said Zoisite.
Zoisite walked over to where Evergreen laid.
"Don't worry, this will all be over soon. Once you're back to your old self." Said Zoisite with an evil smirk.
He shined the light of the Crystal on her, she began to scream in pain as the green Rainbow Crystal appeared. It flew towards Zoisite's hands when it did Evergreen was covered in green stone.
"Awaken Gorgona!" said Zoisite.
The stone shattered revealing a monster that had the lower body of a snake, not only that but she had had snakes for hair.
The Sailor Guardians and reaming member of the Thunder Legion managed to get up.
"I thought something bad would happen if it was removed." Said Bickslow, "I just didn't' think she'd turned into a monster."
"Now Gorgona I want some nice statues." Said Zoisite.
"That what I was going to do." Said Gorgona with a smirk.
"Don't look in into her eyes." Said Freed.
"Yeah we know." Muttered Sailor Jupiter.
Gorgona slithered up to Freed. However he had his eyes closed.
"Hob you pathetic human it's not just site based." Said Gorgona.
That was when her snake hair suddenly shot out and bit him. He fell over and started screaming.
The places he was bit were turning into stone and less just a second he was stone stature.
"We have to keep away from here and avoid eye contact." Said Sailor Mars.
"That won't help you." Said Zoisite.
That was when suddenly a fireball hit Zoisite.
"Why you!" muttered Zoisite turning towards Dragon Knight who was the source.
"Give me the Crystal now." Said Dragon Knight.
"No way." Said Zoisite.
Zoisite ran off with Dragon Knight chasing after him.
Once Zoisite was out of site. Sailor Mercury knew it was time.
"Bubble Spray!"
The fog rolled in making Gorgona angry and unsure where they were.
"You should follow them." Sailor Mars said to Sailor Moon.
"What but…" said Sailor Moon.
"It's better if you do." Said Sailor Mars, "We still need the Rainbow Crystal."
"Besides if you're not part of this fight then you don't have to worry about turning into stone." Said Sailor Mercury.
Sailor Moon nodded and followed the two.
"I'm guessing there's a way to change her back." Said Bickslow.
"Don't worry, Sailor Moon is the one who can do it." Said Sailor Mercury.
"You know you don't have to worry about code names. There's no one around and I already knew it's you." Said Bickslow.
This just made the three sweat drop.
"I'm only helping you to save Evergreen." Said Bickslow.
"Yeah we figured." Said Sailor Jupiter.
"You ready babies?" asked Bickslow.
"Ready! Ready!" called out the dolls.
Nearby, Zoisite and Dragon Knight were fighting.
Zoisite ended up dropping the Rainbow Crystal.
"You know what I give up." Said Zoisite.
"Okay." Said Dragon Knight.
Dragon Knight bent down to pick it up, but Zoisite's cherry blossoms blinded him.
"I can't believe you fell for it." Said Zoisite as he disappeared with the crystal in hand.
"I'm too late!" said Sailor Moon arriving.
"Yeah… sorry." Said Dragon Knight.
"Why are you apologizing?" asked Sailor Moon.
"Because I realized something." Said Dragon Knight taking out the orange rainbow Crystal.
He handed it to her.
"Wait you're giving it to me why?" asked Sailor Moon.
"I have no idea why I even took in the first lace." Said Dragon Knight.
"Seriously?" asked Sailor Moon with a sweat drop.
"Yeah… but I know you're protecting them." Said Dragon Knight.
"Thank you." Said Sailor Moon.
"Your welcome… and one more thing." Said Dragon Knight, "Please stop seeing me as an enemy. I'm your friend… remember that."
With that he jumped onto top a building and left.
Sailor Moon looked at the orange Rainbow Crystal.
"Sailor Moon!"
She turned to see Luna.
"You should get back to the fight." Said Luna.
"I know." Said Sailor Moon.
Back with the fight…
"Fire Soul!"
Gorgona dodged the fireball.
"Line Formation!" called out Bickslow.
His dolls stacked on top of each other and created a beam of green energy that shot at Gorgona.
"Levy now!" said Bickslow.
"Bubble Spray Freezing!"
The attack hit Gorgona's head freezing the snake hair.
"Oh no my babies!" shouted Gorgona.
That was when Sailor Moon arrived.
"Moon Healing Escalation!" called out Sailor Moon.
The light from the Moon Stick hit Gorgona.
"Refresh!" she called out turning back into Evergreen.
At the same time Freed recovered from behind turned into stone.
"She's back to normal." Said Freed.
"Yeah." Said Bickslow.
"Thanks for your help." Said Sailor Moon.
"We'll put in a good word for Laxus." Said Bickslow.
"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Sailor Mars.
"Now's not the time to worry about it." Sid Freed.
All of them got a bad feeling about it, but decided not to think about it for now.
"We should go…" said Sailor Mars not wanting to talk about the Rainbow Crystal matter in front of them.
Once they were out of ear shot.
"So what happened with the crystal?" asked Sailor Mercury.
"I have good news and bad news." Said Sailor Moon, "The bad news is Zoisite got away with it."
"What's the good news?" asked Sailor Mercury.
"Dragon Knight gave me his." Said Sailor Moon holding it up.
"Why?" asked Sailor Mars.
"He wants us to trust him from now on." Said Sailor Moon.
"It's true, I saw everything." Said Luna showing up.
"I see." Said Sailor Mars.
All of them retransformed but Sailor Moon.
"I told Maxfield that I would do it after I headed Evergreen." Said Sailor Moon.
"Let's go." Said Luna.
Luna flew Sailor Moon to the Guild Hall where she would meet up with Maxfield. They went out back by the coast to do it.
"Are you sure about this?" asked Sailor Moon, "I don't know what this will do to you."
"I'm sure…" said Maxfield.
"So he decided to finally do it." Said Makarov coming out to watch.
"Yeah…" said Luna.
"I have no idea what this might do to you." Said Sailor Moon.
"I know… but I'd rather take that chance." Said Maxfield.
Sailor Moon nodded.
She sighed and for the second time that day she called out "Moon Healing Escalation!"
Maxfield was bathed in light, "Refresh!" he called out.
When the light died down he was standing there.
"Did it do anything?" asked Sailor Moon.
"IT did." Said Maxfield taking off his shirt.
He removed his bandages revealing that his wound was completely gone.
"No way…" said Sailor Moon.
Maxfield faced out into the ocean and crossed his arms.
"Starlight Atomic!" he called out.
His launched the balls of Star Light from his arms.
"I still have my magic." He said.
"Is there any difference?" asked Makarov.
"Yes, I can no longer feel any of the abilities that has ties to the Dark Kingdom." Said Maxfield, "I'm compete cut of from them."
"All right!" cheered Sailor Moon.
Makarov chuckled.
"You know I just realized something… this could have been a good test to see how well Lisanna could handle the moon stick in human form." Said Luna.
Sailor Moon sweat dropped.
Sometime later in the guildhall.
"Seriously that's why you wanted a break! Was so you could see what was going on with that Crystal!" yelled Evergreen.
"Sorry I didn't tell you." Laughed Bickslow.
"You should have told us." Muttered Evergreen.
"Would you have believed me about the crystal inside of your soul." Said Bickslow.
"Wait you had one of the Rainbow Crystals too?" asked Wakaba joining the conversation.
"What do you mean too?" muttered Evergreen, "Wait…"
Evergreen had a headache, this was getting worse by the day.
At the bar Maxfield was chopping limes.
"Hey Maxfield, how did your arm get healed?" asked Natsu sitting down.
"Oh this?" asked Maxfield.
He smirked and said a line many mages through out the world always wanted to give as a generic answer to something that wasn't easily explained.
"Magic." He said.
Natsu broke out laughing.
"Oh man… lucky…" muttered Elfman nearby.
"Why did he get that chance…" muttered Gray nearby.
"But seriously… Sailor Moon healed me." Said Maxfield.
That was when he accidently cut himself.
"Oh you okay?" asked Natsu.
"I'm fine, it's just a small cut!" said Maxfield.
"Oh man! Look at his blood!" yelled Happy.
"You're so morbid." Said Natsu.
"That's not what I meant." Said Happy.
Both Natsu and Elfman noticed was Happy meant.
His blood was red.
"I'm completely human now." Said Maxfield.
Natsu and Happy smiled. Maxfield looked at Team Lisanna at the table.
"Well aren't you special?" asked Bickslow approaching them.
"What do you want now?" asked Cana.
"I know of one more Rainbow Crystal carrier." Said Bickslow, "The one that has the Indigo crystal… I've met him a few times…"
"Who is it?" asked Lisanna.
"I don't know if any of you have met him… you know what… forget I even said anything." Said Bickslow walking away.
"Hey!" yelled Lisanna.
"I will tell you one thing about him, he's not a mage." Said Bickslow.
"What?" asked Lisanna.
"He's not?" asked Erza.
Bickslow smirked as he walked away.
"I would have though they would all have magic." Said Levy.
"I know…" said Cana.
Lisanna sighed…
Even if Bickslow was a help… somewhat the Dark Kingdom had gained a Rainbow Crystal… although with Dragon Knight's crystal is was now two apiece.
Even if they knew some info about the Indigo holder, there was still a color between green and indigo. And hopefully the next crystal wouldn't be too bad.
Next Time: They learn that a member of Blue Pegasus is next, who is it? And will Erza and Luna have to hide from their admimiers? Find out next time!
