Chapter 25: Past Lives and Kidnapping
The light of the Silver Crystal was bright. So bright that it caused the whole tower to light up from the outside.
Makarov, Mirajane, Elfman, Loke and Maxfield all kept watch outside when the bright light shined.
"What's going on in there?" asked Mirajane.
"The Silver Crystal must have been found." Said Maxfield paling.
"That's the thing the Dark Kingdom wants most of all, right?" asked Elfman.
"It is." said Maxfield.
"You don't think they have do you?" asked Loke.
"I really hope not." Sighed Maxfield.
Mirajane was about to make a run for it.
"Mirajane… stop." Said Makarov.
Mirajane gritted her teeth.
"I know that you're worried, we all are, but you can't just run in." said Makarov.
"What if…" said Mirajane.
"Something tells me Lisanna is fine." Said Makarov.
However he looked at the castle.
"But why can I shake off the feeling something terrible has happened." Thought Makarov.
Inside of the tower, the light continued to shine. As it did both Luna and Artemis' moon shined.
That was when suddenly both of them transformed into human forms.
Luna took the form of a teenaged girl with long black hair with two buns on each side of her head. Thankfully a dress appeared on her. One that was yellow and black, it had a secondary black skirt.
Artemis on the other hand became a man with long white hair and wore a strange white outside that showed off his belly button.
"No way…" said Sailor Venus.
"Wait… why didn't I get a human form." Said Happy who was still a moon cat.
"We'll explain it later." Said Luna who was more concerned with Lisanna and Natsu at the moment.
The light finally started to die down. This made Zoisite laugh.
"All right…" he said.
That was when Lisanna glared at Zoisite and used the moon stick to attack Zoisite.
Lisanna went down to the ground.
"Natsu…" she whispered.
"Hey it's okay…" he said trying to keep a brave face, "By the way I'm not the only one getting weird memories right…"
Lisanna's eyes widened.
"I remember…" said Lisanna.
She remembered everything, she was Princess Serenity of the Silver Millennium, also known The Moon Kingdom.
Princess Serenity was always fascinated by the earth and would often sneak there. One day she accidentally met the Prince of the Earthland, Prince Endymion.
The two fell in love and often met in secret. However a war started with the earth. However the war was surely caused by an evil entity called Queen Metaria that turned the people of earth against the Moon Kingdom.
Lisanna… no Princess Serenity started crying.
"We were together for a long time… and we didn't even know it…" she cried, "Please I don't want to lose you again."
However Natsu had passed out. And then so did Princess Serenity, who suddenly transformed back into Sailor Moon (although her hair was still long).
Sailor Mercury ran towards her while Sailor Venus went to check on Natsu.
"Are they all right?" asked Luna.
"She just fainted." Said Sailor Mercury.
"Natsu's not going good." Said Lucy, "We need to get him to a hospital right away."
"You're not going any where." Said Zoisite getting up, "I will stop you and get the Silver Crystal."
However it was clear that Zoisite was in very bad shape.
However Kunzite teleported in.
"Zoisite, what happened?" asked Kunzite, "You're trembling."
"They have the Crystal." Said Zoisite, "Sailor Moon is the Moon Princess."
"Don't worry I'll get it from the." Said Kunzite, "But first a different matter entirely."
He held out his arm and sent out black energy, however while it wasn't an attack it surrounded Natsu and he suddenly vanished followed quickly by Kunzite and Zoisite teleporting away.
"No!" yelled Sailor Mars.
"Natsu!" yelled Sailor Jupiter.
"He's gone…" whispered Sailor Mercury.
"Natsu…" cried Happy.
At the Dark Kingdom both Zoisite and Kunzite stood in front of Queen Beryl.
"Can you tell us why you brought Dragon Knight here?" asked Kunzite.
"Those are my reasons." Said Queen Beryl, "However there is something we must discus… Zoisite."
Zoisite didn't respond.
"Can you tell me why you tried to kill him twice, you thought I wouldn't know about the fire and the crystal?" asked Queen Beryl.
Zoisite gritted his teeth.
"The first time was luck that he is a Fire Dragon Slayer in this life, but the crystal is not something he can easily bounce back from." Said Queen Beryl.
"But I…" said Zoisite.
"I can not have a subordinate who never listens to orders. Said Queen Beryl, "Combined with the failure with getting the Silver Crystal."
"But I… said Zoisite.
"No more excuses!" yelled Queen Beryl as her crystal ball began to glow.
"Wait!" yelled Kunzite.
But it was too late, Queen Beryl attacked Zoisite with the energy.
Meanwhile in the mysterious tower. The four Sailor Guardians. Were looking for a way out. Luna and Artemis were watching over Sailor Moon.
"I know it's not the time for this." Said Happy.
"We'll talk about this later." Said Luna.
"That's not what I mean… I mean those outfits are weird." Said Happy.
This made the two moon cats in human form sweat drop.
"Luna's dress seems impractical and what are those straps for?" asked happy.
"This really isn't the time to be being that up…" muttered Luna.
"Aren't you worried about Natsu?" asked Artemis.
"This is my coping mechanism." Said Happy.
It's best not to think about it…
That was Sailor Moon began to wake up.
"What happened…" said Sailor Moon.
That was when she noticed Luna and Artemis.
"Who are you?" asked Sailor Moon.
Both of them sifted back to their moon cat selves, still wearing the outfits they gained in human form
"We mange to obtain a human form." Said Luna.
"I see…" said Sailor Moon, "What about Natsu?"
Luna and Artemis looked at each other.
Happy started crying and hugging Sailor Moon.
"They took him!" yelled Happy, "That white haired guy came and took him."
"What?" asked Sailor Moon.
That was when the other Sailor Guardians showed up.
"It's like a maze in here." Said Sailor Venus.
"I have a plan to get out of here." Said Sailor Mars.
"Before you do I should explain the visitation." Said Luna.
They all found a place to sit down and Luna explained.
"Over 1,000 years ago, we all lived on the moon. It was a peaceful place governed by Queen Serenity. She had one daughter Princess Serenity." Explained Luna, "But one day a great evil showed up and controlled many people on earth into attacking. You four were the body guards to the Royal Family…"
"Wait that doesn't make any sense." Said Sailor Jupiter, "I mean I have parents here…"
"Reincarnation…" said Luna, "All of you were reborn…"
"That doesn't explain why you two turned human." Said Happy.
"It does…" said Artemis, "I'm sure you know the legend of where Moon Cats got their name."
"That they were originally form the Moon?" asked Sailor Mars.
"Well it's true." Said Artemis, "However Luna and I are the last true Moon Cats alive. Everyone else have been born her on Earthland."
"When the Silver Crystal appeared it gave both me and Artemis a magic boost, and I'm sure it did the same to all of you." Said Luna.
Sailor Moon started trembling.
"So how does Natsu tie into this?" asked Sailor Mercury.
"He was Prince Endymion of Earthland 1,000 years ago." Sighed Luna, "He and Princess Serenity were lovers."
They all looked at Sailor Moon then blushed.
"Sounds like something out of romance novel." Said Sailor Venus.
"I know right." Said Sailor Jupiter.
"What would they ant with Natsu?" asked Sailor Mars.
"I don't know… whatever it is can't be good." Said Luna.
"We need to get out of here." Said Sailor Jupiter.
"Done' worry I already have an idea." Said Sailor Mars.
She got up and to use her idea.
A few minutes later they heard a boom followed by another.
"So about your magic." Said Sailor Venus looking at the two Moon Cats that obtained human form.
"I have no idea, the though never occurred to me." Said Luna, "I'm going have to look up to see what my options are."
"I've always wanted to be a magical swords man." Said Artemis.
Artemis got the image of him fighting a member of a Dark Guild with a giant knife like sword yelling "Getsuga Tensho!" while human Luna fawned over him.
"What ever you're imaging, it going to happen." Said Luna.
"Oh come on." Said Artemis.
The others laughed expect for Sailor Moon and Happy. Both were too worried about Natsu.
Meanwhile in the Dark Kingdom. Zoisite was still alive but he was any minute away from death, he was in Kunzite's arms.
"Zoisite I'm sorry." Said Kunzite.
"It not your fault, it's mine… I shouldn't have been impatient." Said Zoisite.
"Zoisite…" said Kunzite.
"Kunzite give me one request…" said Zoisite, "Give me a beautiful death…"
Kunzite turned their room they were in to a flowery fielded as flower petals blew away everywhere.
And with that Zoisite died…
Meanwhile Queen Beryl was in Queen Metaria's chamber, with an unconscious Natsu.
"Please Queen Metaria." Said Queen Beryl, "I wish to make Prince Endymion into one of us."
"It will take a lot of energy to do that." Said Queen Metaria, "But I belie that if he can get the Silver Crystal it will more than worth it…"
Queen Beryl nodded.
"We will steal the Silver Crystal form that princess no matter what." Said Queen Beryl.
"You better bring results." Said Queen Metaria.
"Yes my queen." Said Queen Beryl.
Queen Beryl looked at the unconscious Natsu and smiled.
During that time of the Moon Kingdom, the Dark Kingdom didn't exist, rather she was a normal Earthland mage.
She fell in love with Prince Endymion. However he instead fell in love with Princess Serenity.
"I'm not letting you go this time." Said Queen Beryl, "You will be mine this time… all mine…"
Back in the tower…
"Lisanna." Said Sailor Venus as they still waited for Sailor Mars.
"Yeah." Said Lisanna.
"We're going to find him." Said Sailor Venus.
"I know that." Muttered Sailor Moon.
"You're still a newbie." Laughed Sailor Jupiter.
"What's supposed to mean?" asked Sailor Venus.
"I already came up with idea on how to fine Natsu." Said Sailor Mercury.
"Are you sure that a good idea though…" said Sailor Moon, "Trying to break into the Dark Kingdom."
"Come on Lisanna. Cheer up, it will be fine." Said Sailor Mercury.
"Look we're plan out when we found out when the Dark Kingdom is located." Said Sailor Jupiter.
"Besides it's better if you take a few days off or something. Clear your head." Said Sailor Jupiter.
"It had been a tough day." Said Sailor Moon.
She hugged her knees.
"I found the way out." Said Sailor Mars.
They all looed at Sailor Mars.
"Oh you didn't…" said Luna, "You destroyed several walls…"
"It was the only way." Said Sailor Mars, "Besides this time I think it's okay if we destroy the property… it's just the Dark Kingdom…"
The other Sailor Guardians started Sailor Mars.
"I can't believe you of all people are acting so blasé about decoying property." Said Sailor Jupiter.
"We can't stay here any longer, someone from the Dark Kingdom might show up and I don't think now's the time to be fighting." Said Sailor Mercury.
The Sailor Guardians and three Moon Cats fled through Sailor Mars' exists.
As they were high up the Moon Cats had to fly them down. However thanks to the human forms, Luna and Artemis were now able to take two each.
"You two are so lucky…" muttered Happy as he flew Sailor Moon down.
"Now's not the time." Said Sailor Venus, "We have to get out of here and fast."
And they fled back into town.
Meanwhile back in the tower Kunzite showed up and he wasn't in a good mood.
"Now…" he said.
That was when he noticed the giant holes Sailor Mars made.
"What?" he asked.
He stared at the hole with his eye twitching.
He face palmed.
"Fairy Tail…" he muttered, "Should have known."
Once they were in town, they all de-transformed.
"I'll take you back home." Said Levy.
"Me too." Said Cana.
"We're inform the Master what happened." Said Erza.
"Yeah…" sighed Lucy.
Luna decided to go home with Lisanna while Artemis joined with the group going back to the Guild Hall…
"Wait!" said Happy, "Lisanna…"
"Yeah?" asked Lisanna.
"Can I stay with you for a while." Said Happy who seemed to be on the verge of years.
"Of course." Said Lisanna.
Happy went to hug Lisanna.
In the Dark Kingdom… Kunzite met with in a chamber with Queen Beryl.
Inside the chamber was a strange thing that Natsu was in.
"What are you doing?" asked Kunzite.
"I'm turning Dragon Knight to our side." Said Queen Beryl, "First I'm erasing all of his memories."
"You bastard…" muttered Natsu who was barely conscious.
Queen Beryl scowled at him.
"By the way, I wasn't able to get them… they escaped." Said Kunzite.
"I thought that tower was fortified with dimension altering spells." Said Queen Beryl.
"They broke through the walls." Said Kunzite.
Queen Beryl's eye twitched as they heard snickering from the barely conscious Natsu.
"You wont' be laughing any more." Muttered Queen Beryl, "Once you're loyal to us…"
Natsu gritted his teeth.
He was in pain still and he wasn't sure how long he would be able to hold on his memories.
"Serenity and my guild mates will help me." Said Natsu knowing not to use Lisanna's name.
"I'd like to see that happen." Said Queen Beryl.
Inwardly she was cursing wondering how defiant he was in this life, hoping that it wouldn't stick once he was under their control.
At the house that Lisanna shared with her brother and sister. Lisanna went to her room and closed the door.
"Will you be okay?" asked Levy.
"I'll be fine!" called out Lisanna.
It was quiet in the house.
"We'll stay until Mira and Elfman arrive." Said Levy.
"Okay." Said Luna.
Cana immediacy went to the fridge.
"Hey Lisanna!" she called out.
"No… none of that is mine!" called Lisanna from her room.
This made everyone in the house sweat drop.
Meanwhile Lucy, Erza and Artemis arrive at the Guild Hall. Everyone who was waiting outside.
"Is Lisanna all right?" asked Elfman.
"Where is she?" demanded Mirajane.
"Don't worry, Cana and Levy took her home." Said Lucy.
"So she's okay." Elfman breathing a sigh of relief.
"Yes and no." sighed Erza.
"The good news is that Lisanna's fine and not hurt…" said Lucy.
"The bad news." Said Makarov.
"Zoisite tried to kill Lisanna however Natsu took the blow." Said Erza, "Not only that but before we could get Natsu some help the Dark Kingdom kidnapped him."
Everyone who heard this paled.
"Maxfield…" said Erza.
"I'm sorry…" sighed Maxfield, "When Sailor Moon healed with me some of my knowledge vanished, I don't remember where the Dark Kingdom is…"
"So Lisanna's not taking it well, is she?" asked Elfman.
"No…" sighed Lucy.
None of them wanted to explain why.
"Lisanna and Natsu finally realized their feelings for each other, right?" asked Loke.
They all looked at Loke.
"Pretty much." Said Erza deciding not to go into details.
"What!" yelled Mirajane.
"Mira… now's not the time to get angry." Said Elfman.
"Especially since we don't know if Natsu's alive or not." Sighed Erza.
Mirajane immediately calmed down.
"We're giving Lisanna a few days for her grief." Said Erza.
"For the time being we won't look for Natsu." Said Makarov, "Not until the Dark Kingdom makes its next move."
Makarov looked at the group and nodded.
IT meant meet him in his office.
Elfman and Mirajane decided to head home.
In the office they informed both Makarov and Maxfield the other details.
"So all of you and including Natsu live 1,000 years in another life." Said Makarov.
"That's right." Said Erza.
"And Natsu was also Dragon Knight." Said Makarov.
"We haven't the details, but Happy seems to know about it." Said Artemis.
"How is Happy?" asked Maxfield.
"He's going to be staying with Lisanna for a while." said Happy.
"At least the Dark Kingdom doesn't have the Silver Crystal." Sighed Maxfield.
"Our job for now is to protect it." Sighed Artemis.
"Do you think you can handle it?" asked Maxfield.
"I think so." Said Artemis.
Lucy was quiet.
"IS something wrong?" asked Makarov.
"Oh no it's nothing… just worried about Wednesday." Said Lucy.
"What's going to happen Wednesday?" asked Makarov.
"I have to break it to Aquarius the Princess is not a Celestial Mage." Sighed Lucy.
This made everyone but Artemis sweat drop.
"Look none of you know how scary she is… all right." Said Lucy blushing.
"It's not that important right now…" said Artemis.
"By the way…" said Maxfield.
"Yeah?" asked Artemis.
"What's with that outfit." Said Maxfield.
Artemis sighed, it was something that wasn't brought up in the conversation.
Outside the office Loke walked away from the door.
"I knew it…" he thought, "She is Princess Serenity…
Loke sighed, he couldn't get involved… after all he knew didn't have much time left.
Back at the Strauss Household, both Mirajane and Elfman arrived.
"Oh good you're here." Said Levy.
"Erza told us what happened…" said Elfman.
"So Natsu…" said Elfman.
"We can only hope that he's alive." Sighed Luna.
Happy sighed.
Mirajane went to Lisanna's door.
"Are you okay?" asked Mirajane.
"I'm fine." Called out Lisanna.
"Do you need anything." Said Mirajane.
"I'll ask Luna." Said Lisanna not wanting either Mirajane or Elfman to see her long hair.
Mirajane sighed as he went back into the living room.
"Just give her a few days." Said Luna.
"Well I think we go." Said Levy.
"After tonight I really need a drink." Sighed Cana.
Both of them left.
"You're staying here aren't you?" Mirajane asked Happy.
Happy nodded.
"Fine…" muttered Mirajane.
She looked at Luna.
"You better help her." Said Mirajane, "And do a good job because of your tiny body."
That was when Luna turned to her human form.
"You were saying?" asked Luna.
"That's great Luna." Said Elfman.
"I've been working on secretly, during today's job I was able to perfect it." Said Luna.
Of course this was lie.
"That dress doesn't look that practical though." Pointed out Luna.
Luna sweat dropped when she said that.
The next day, Makarov made the announcement about what happened in the tower (which vanished in the night).
The Guild became deathly silent.
"Now we can made assumptions about Natsu's condition." Said Makarov, "For all we know he still is alive. Right now we have to keep our hope that he had pulled through alive."
But the guild was deathly silent.
This was huge hit for them, sure Natsu was probably the biggest troublemaker in the guild, but he was a big part of the guild. And his kidnapped was huge blow to the guild.
It would take something just as horrible to bring the guild back together after something like that…
Next Time: After a few days, Lucy helps cheer up Lisanna, also Lisanna, Lucy, Luna and Happy go to visit Happy's parents. Meanwhile Makarovs thinks it's a good idea for the Golden Team to take on an S Class Mission that he thinks Lisanna can solve, but what will happen when Mirajane finds out about it?
