Chapter 28: Go! Go! Phantom Rangers!
Everyone in the Guild Hall was shocked that the Sailor Guardians captured Gajeel. However what was even more shocking when they untied him.
"Are you insane!" yelled Gray.
"He destroyed the guild hall!" yelled Jet.
"You're just going to let him go?" asked Bisca.
"Let him explain." Said Sailor Mercury.
Gajeel explained that he dealt with the Dark Kingdom twice and knows what a monster smells like so he knew that Jose was replaced by a monster.
"Not necessarily…" said Maxfield.
"What do you mean?" asked Gajeel.
"You see Kunzite has a particular style of gather monsters…" said Maxfield, "He transforms humans into monsters, it's entirely possible this might be a case of that…"
"How do you know so much about the Dark Kingdom?" asked Gajeel.
"Maxfield used to work for them… however ended up betraying them." Said Bisca glaring at Maxfield.
"Your Nephrite aren't you?" asked Gajeel.
"Yeah…" sighed Maxfield.
Gajeel was glaring at them.
"I can't do jobs or get paid for my bartender work." Explained Maxfield.
"How do I know I can trust you?" asked Gajeel.
"I could say the same for you." Said Maxfield.
"Maxfield as he's known has earned my trust." Said Makarov.
Gajeel stilled glared the guild's bar tender.
"What do you think is going to happen?" Sailor Mercury asked Gajeel.
"If this monster knows what Jose knows he's going to use Element Four next." Said Gajeel.
"The Element Four?" asked Sailor Venus.
"Their Phantom Lord's version of S Class." Said Sailor Mercury.
"Although I wouldn't put it passed him to use the Guild Hall." Said Gajeel.
"What do you mean by that?" asked Sailor Mars.
Meanwhile with Jose he was laughing.
"Fairy Tail won't know what hit them!" laughed Jose.
That was when he heard a wrenching noise.
He turned to see what the noise was, that was hen he saw the mysterious person on the ground.
"What's wrong with you?" asked Jose.
"I don't know…" muttered the mysterious person.
Jose stared the mysterious person with a sweat drop.
Meanwhile at Lucy's apartment.
Luna tied a bag to her waist.
"All right! I'm all easy!" said Luna.
"What in the bag?" asked Happy.
"Well when you were gone I bought the magical items I'll be using." Said Luna.
"Oh wow." Said Artemis.
Then Artemis began to pout.
"What wrong?" asked Happy.
"I order the sword I wanted by mail order and it hasn't come yet." Sighed Artemis, "It should come today…"
"Do you want us to wait with you?" asked Luna.
"Of course." Said Artemis.
"So you want to read more of Lucy's novel?" asked Happy.
"Okay you're just pushing it!" yelled Artemis.
Meanwhile at the Fairy Tail Guild Hall the Sailor Guardians began to leave.
"Leaving already?" asked Mirajane.
"We have we have other things…" said Sailor Mars.
"Seriously!" yelled Mirajane.
"Don't worry we're still helping." Said Sailor Moon, "We just have to do other things."
They left the basement.
A few minutes later the five came back not transformed.
"What's Gajeel doing here!" yelled Lisanna.
This made Gajeel sweat drop.
"Seriously?" he muttered
"Where's the cats?" asked Elfman.
"Oh Artemis is waiting for a package." Said Lucy.
"You're having your cat wait for a package for you?" asked Mirajane.
"Actually it's his package." Said Lucy with a sweat drop.
Gajeel just stared at this.
"They're keeping their identities secret. So don't say anything." Said Makarov.
Gajeel only sweat dropped.
That was when their thing started shaking, even a glass of water was rippling.
"What's going on?" asked Lisanna.
Everyone ran out of the Guild Hall to see that the Headquarters of Phantom, which was on a rock with many strange legs underneath walking towards them.
The Headwater stopped.
"Oh hello Fairy Tail…" said Jose as he spoke through an intercom, "So glad to see you as I destroy the guild hall…"
"Jose what do you think you're doing!" yelled Makarov.
"Ah Makarov, it's so good to hear from you…" said Jose, "Come to see the fall of your Guild?"
"If you want Gajeel back! We'll give him up to you!" yelled Makarov.
"Really?" asked Gajeel with his eye ticking.
"I don't care about him…" said Jose, "According to my sources he surrendered to you… something about not agreeing with allies I gathered…"
Gajeel froze.
"I would have pegged Panther Lily to be the one to betray us, not you Gajeel…" said Jose.
Gajeel gritted his teeth in anger.
"Here's a little gift I have for all of you." Said Jose.
That was when certain parts of the Phantom Lord Headquarters opened up revealing a large gun.
"The Jupiter Cannon!" yelled Makarov.
"Let's see you try to block this." Mocked Jose.
That was when it began to shoot a black ball of energy at the Guild Hall.
Something began to glow in Lisanna's pocket.
She took it out and of course it was the Silver Crystal.
She knew what she had to do.
She ran towards the shore.
"Lisanna what are you doing!" yelled Makarov.
Lisanna's moon appeared on her forehead just as the cannon shot. The energy of the cannon about to hit when Lisanna was able to create a barrier, the cannon ball hit the barrier. She moved the Moon Stick in the air and it caused the energy cannon ball to head high into the sky and explode.
Lisanna fell to the ground and was breathing heavily.
Everyone in the Guild gaped at what Lisanna was able to do. Well almost.
"Lisanna! Do you have any idea how reckless that was!" yelled Makarov, "Who knows what would have happened."
"I'm sorry…" said Lisanna.
"Don't worry us again!" yelled Mirajane.
"I won't…" said Lisanna.
Gajeel was just staring.
"Her powers are very strong." Said Maxfield.
"I can see that." Said Gajeel.
He noticed the Silver Crystal on the moon stick.
"I wonder if it has anything to with the rainbow Crystals." He thought.
Inside of the Guild HQ, Jose was in shock.
"It was learn that it was the Silver Crystal." Said the mysterious person, "The Princess must be disguised a normal Guild Member… wouldn't surprise me…"
Back outside the guild hall…
"All right!" yelled Makarov, "It will take 15 minutes for the cannon to recharge! One of you have to find a way into stop it."
""I'll handle it!" said Mirajane.
However before she could go suddenly a bunch of strange ghastly figures came from the Guild HQ.
"What are those things?" asked Maxfield.
"It's his shades." Said Gajeel.
They headed to the attack the member.
However suddenly someone showed up with a sword made out of light and cut many of them down.
"Who's that?" asked Bisca.
That was when suddenly many of the shades were set on fire.
The two that saved the were Artemis who was holding a sword with a blade made out of light while Luna was wearing a pair of fingerless gloves.
"Oh yeah, I keep forgetting those two can turn human now." Said Jet.
"I keep forgetting about Artemis all together…" admitted Droy.
"Seriously!" yelled Artemis.
"You are kind of forgettable…" said Happy who had also arrived.
"Hey!" yelled Artemis.
"Looks like you're package arrived." Said Lucy.
"It did." Said Artemis, "A light blade, it's perfect for a Moon Cat as when I'm not using it for fighting the blade can retract into the hilt."
"That's nice…" said Lucy who became somewhat serious, "Where did you get that money?"
"It was a gift." Said Artemis.
Lucy sighed, she didn't like the fact it was a gift.
"You have to stop taking money from him…" said Lucy.
Artemis sighed and sweat dropped.
That was when the shades began to reform.
"Hey!" yelled Mirajane, "I need everyone to take out the shade so I can get to the cannon!"
Everyone nodded as she used Satan Soul.
Many of the shades tried to attack her but Bisca and Alzack were the one who covered her as she flew to the barrel of the cannon. As she was able to fit inside the barrel. She ran down it and headed to the room that stored the Lacrima used for the cannon.
"So you're the one who thinks they can destroy the Lacrima." Said a man dressed like a samurai with black and white hair with a strange line going across his face, "I am Totomaru of the Element 4… and…"
"Yeah, don't care." Muttered Mirajane.
She immediately used Soul Extinction on the giant Lacrima in the middle of the chamber shattering it.
Totomaru barely dodged.
"Who are you?" asked Totomaru.
"Mirajane Strauss also known as the Demon…" laughed Mirajane.
Totomaru eye twitched.
He was one of the Element 4 sure… but his specialty was fighting fire with fire.
"Why did I volunteer for this job?" he suddenly thought to himself.
Outside they heard the explosion from the cannon.
"All right! Mira stopped it!" cheered Elfman.
Inside of the Guild HQ Jose was getting angry.
"All right!" he yelled, "Prepare the Super Mage Giant Phantom Mark 2"
On they outside the Fairy Tail members watched in shock as the guildhall began to shift into the form of a humanoid.
"It transforms?" yelled Artemis.
"Really?" Luna asked Gajeel.
"Hey, I have nothing to do with it." Said Gajeel.
Inside Jose was laughing.
"Nothing will stop us this time…" he said to himself.
That was when he heard a retching noise.
"Come on!" he yelled out of the mysterious person, "It's barely even moving!"
Outside they saw as it shifted to a human form, including have arms and a head.
That was when the arms started moving and creating a magic circle.
"It can't be." Said Makarov.
"What is it?" asked Erza.
"Abyss Break." Said Makarov, "Once the cycle is compete it will destroy everything around here."
"So we have to stop it." Said Levy.
"How are we supposed to do that?" asked Cana.
"You have to defeat the Element Four." muttered Gajeel walking towards them, "That's the way to stop it."
"Great…" muttered Cana.
"We have to get in there." Said Lisanna managed to stand up.
"You're not going any where." Said Luna.
"Remember what I told you on Galuna." Said Artemis, "You used too much the Silver Crystal's power already!"
"I know!" said Lisanna, "But I have to go there! I have of find out where Natsu is!"
"Fine…" sighed Luna, "But be careful…"
"Luna…" said Artemis.
"You won't leave my sight understand…" said Luna.
"You're not going with out us." Said Cana.
"That's right… we're a team!" said Lucy.
Lisanna nodded.
"I better come too so I can give a piece of my mind." Said Gajeel.
"And when you mean give him a piece of his mind you mean to beat him up right…." Said Luna.
"Do I even know you?" asked Gajeel.
Luna pointed to her forehead.
"You're that Moon Cat!" he said in shock.
"That's right." Said Luna.
"I'm going too! With big sis already there and my little sis going, you can bet I'm going!" yelled Elfman.
"I think I'll come along too." Said Gray.
"I can't let my children go alone into enemy territory…" muttered Makarov, "So I'll be going too."
""You can count me in!" yelled Happy.
"All right…" said Lisanna, "Let's go!"
Everyone nodded.
Ready to infiltrate the giant guild hall Mecha not knowing what was going to be inside or who they would have to fight…
But this war was only just beginning…
