A/N: Okay... it's the fic of the month! This was a hard one... total writer's block but I overcame it... Anyways this month's poll has been up since the beginning of the month, so go vote, it's also a loser poll... Anyways enjoy the chapter!
Chapter 31: Tough Fights
Even without the boost from the Dark Kingdom, Jose was still a member of the 10 Wizard Saints. The 10 strongest mages on the continent.
But then again so was Makarov.
However Jose did claim that his magic was stronger as a monster, though it was unknown if he really was stronger than Makarov.
However considering the shape of the Sailor Guardians this was going to be something of a hard fight.
"You ready?" asked Sailor Moon.
They nodded.
"You two still need to rest." Sailor Mars said to Sailor Venus and Sailor Jupiter.
"Yeah." Agreed Sailor Venus.
"We'll join you when we feel up to it," said Sailor Jupiter.
Both of them went to a spot to rest up for a bit.
"You two aren't leaving!" called out Monster Jose.
He sent another phantom after them.
"Fire Soul!" called out Sailor Mars burning up the phantom.
"This fight is only just beginning." Laughed Jose.
Back with Gajeel and Dragon Knight they continued to fight.
Iron Dragon…" started Gajeel.
"Fire Dragon…" started Dragon Knight.
"Roar!" both of them did at the same time.
The two attacks clashed in a brilliant explosion.
However when it cleared both of them still stood.
"You're a lot stronger than I thought." Said Gajeel with a smirk.
"It doesn't matter unless Jose does his job." Said Dragon Knight.
"Seriously!" yelled Gajeel.
"What?" asked Dragon Knight.
"You know what never mind." Muttered Gajeel who got too used to snarky fights.
The two continued their fight.
Back with the fight with Monster Jose.
Monster Jose sent out more phantoms at them, Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars all dodged the attacks.
"I haven't even gotten warmed up!" laughed Monster Jose.
However Monster Jose had to dodge a punch from Makarov who was currently a giant.
"What did you forget about me?" he asked.
"Of course not." Said Monster Jose, "What? Going easy on me?"
"I'm just getting warmed up." Said Makarov.
"Well so am I!" said Monster Jose.
He created a shade and used it to grab Sailor Moon. When it did she started screaming, however Makarov raised his hand and it dissipated.
Monster Jose glared at Makarov.
Meanwhile with Elfman, Mirajane and Sol, Mirajane watched as Elfman in full beat form began to beat down Sol.
Mirajane watched smiling.
Why? Because it was clear that Elfman was finally in control.
And soon enoguh Sol was laying on the ground barely conscious.
"Elfman…" said Mirajane.
Elfman turned back to normal.
"I don't want to see you crying again, understand?" said Elfman.
"Please, you think I would cry again in public?" asked Mirajane.
The two hugged.
"Mira…" said Elfman.
"Let's go find someone else to beat up, sound fun?" asked Mirajane.
Elfman smiled and they ran to find other members of Phantom Lord.
Outside the guild as the magic circle was slowing down.
"Let's keep going!" cheered Macao.
"Yeah!" cheered the rest.
Back with Gajeel and Dragon Knight's fight the wall was blasted down so they could see the guild hall, however Dragon Knight was still standing strong, however thanks to the fact that iron was rather plentiful in the robot, Gajeel wasn't giving up either.
Back with the fight with Monster Jose. He sent out the more powerful version of his shades at the Sailor Guardian.
That was when Monster Jose froze.
"What's wrong?" asked Makarov realign the reason, that one of the element 4 had been defeated.
"It's nothing." Said Monster Jose blasting Makarov who deactivated his magic to doge, however the explosion he sent out also ripped a whole in the wall.
"That was bad luck." Said Sailor Mercury.
Monster Jose got even angrier.
He sent out more phantoms at them.
"Sabao Spray Freezing!" she called out.
"Fire Soul!" called out Sailor Mars.
Monster Jose didn't know how to react when the phantoms didn't come back.
"How did you do that? Why aren't they coming back!" yelled Monster Jose.
"I'm going to guess it has to with our magic." Said Sailor Mars.
Monster Jose glared at them.
Meanwhile in the hiding spot, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus talked with Luna, Artemis and Happy.
"You almost ready to rejoin the fight?" asked Sailor Jupiter.
"Oh yeah!" said Sailor Venus.
Happy on the other sighed.
"It's going to be okay Happy." Assured Luna.
"I know…" sighed Happy.
Back one of the shoulders, the sky cleared up.
Juvia looked at the sky amazed, due to the fact that she couldn't control her magic she never seen the sky.
Indeed Gray had defeated her, and her feelings for Gray had grown stronger…
Outside the magic cycle stopped and disappeared. Fairy Tail celebrated this fact.
Inside, Monster Jose noticed this.
"NO!" he screamed, "The element 4 has been defeated!"
Makarov smirked.
"All right!" cheered Sailor Moon.
However this only made Monster Jose angrier.
Outside all of the phantoms began to merge into a large jellyfish like being, which began to pound the guildhall.
The Sailor Guardians all watched this in shock.
As did the ones outside.
Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus rejoined them. Both of them in shock what they were seeing.
Elsewhere Gajeel and Dragon Knight watched this.
"What…" said Dragon Knight.
He began to shake in anger but he didn't know why.
Thanks to the Jelly Fish Phantom Entity pound the Guild Hall it crumbled.
Sailor Venus were shocked, but the other four were angry.
After all, they grew up in the Guild Hall…
Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter were so angry all three of them came up with ideas for attacks.
"You really shouldn't have one that." Said Makarov.
"Oh what… are you all saddened by the loss of your Guild Hall?" mocked Monster Jose.
"Oh really why?" asked Monster Jose.
Sailor Jupiter took out some of her cards.
"Heaven! Reverse Death! Mountain!" she called out, "Lighting!"
She summoned the lighting from her cards then switched tactics.
"Supreme Thunder!" she called out.
She combined the two lighting attacks, which hit Monster Jose head on.
"Solid Script: Ice!" called out Sailor Mercury.
She tossed the word.
Then she called out "Sabao Spray Freezing!"
The Sabao Spray hit the word merging together into a huge block of ice, which froze Monster Jose.
"Requip!" called out Sailor Mars requipping her fire sword.
She swiped it then called out.
"Fire Soul!"
The two flames merged together and hit the frozen Monster Jose.
Once the flames cleared Monster Jose shook.
"How… how could you be this powerful." Said Monster Jose, "I'm one of the 10 wizard saints!"
"You shouldn't have done that to the guild…" muttered Sailor Moon.
"Moon Healing Escalation!" called Sailor Moon.
The light hit Monster Jose. He struggled but soon enoguh he called out "Refresh!" and turned back human.
"What… no… I can't have been defeated." He muttered.
Back with Dragon Knight and Gajeel's fight. Dragon Knight sensed Jose's defeat.
"Sorry but I have to check on something." Said Dragon Knight disappearing.
He reappeared in the same room they were having their fight.
"Endymion"! said Jose.
"Oh so you defeated… that's too bad." Said Dragon Knight.
"Turn me back…" said Jose.
"Sorry but I can't since you been cleansed… too bad I thought you would be able to give us the Silver Crystal… I guess it's back to stage one." Said Dragon Knight.
Dragon Knight disappeared.
"Wait!" called out Sailor Moon.
But he was already gone.
Jose started laughing manically.
He created more phantoms to grab all of the Sailor Guardians.
However Makarov just vanished them like before.
"Jose… this is between us now." Said Makarov, "I will give until the count of 3 to stop this fighting."
"What scared?" asked Jose.
"1." Said Makarov placing his hands n a certain way.
"It can't be…" said Sailor Mars.
"2." Said Makarov.
"Even if I'm no longer a monster I'm still stronger than you." Said Jose.
"3." Said Makarov, "I invoke Fairy Law!"
The spell Makarov used a bright golden light.
"What is this spell?" asked Sailor Venus.
"It's Fairy Law, one of the most powerful spells in Fairy Tail." Said Sailor Mars, "The light vanquish anyone the user sees as an enemy… but their allies are untouched."
Gajeel ran into the room while Happy, Luna and Artemis also came in.
When the light faded Jose was very pale and disheveled. He fell the ground with his breath unsteady.
"Where Natsu…" said Happy.
"He got away." Sighed Sailor Moon.
Happy looked down.
The Sailor Guardians all looked at the master of Phantom Lord. None of them were sure what was going to happen next, but one thing was known it probably wasn't going to be pretty.
Next Time: The Guild is dealing with the fall out of the war, especially since they now lack a guildhall... what will happen? Find out next time!
