A/N: I just had a job interview, fingers crossed. So that could mean a couple things. 1.) I might be on even less, thus no regular updates. :( 2.)I could buy a new laptop, allowing me to update more :) . I'm not sure which will happen. Still don't own the Potterverse, just my OCs, poems, designs, and the plot.

**Hermione's POV**

We made our way up to the Headmistress's office before Luna appeared out of nowhere with a dreamy look on her face.

"By chance, is there room for one more at your flat? Neville's asked me to the ball you see, and I often get hounded by reporters that get rather upset with my answers to their questions. They don't understand. Anyways, between them and Porligots, I can't get any peace to get a proper dress."

"Not a problem, Luna, you can borrow some of our clothes while in Muggle London. Come on now, Mione, isn't that right?" Ginny looks at me with a grin she knows I can't resist. I can't believe I didn't invite Luna anyways.

"Of course. Come along."

When we finally apparate to my flat, I breathe in deeply, taking in the strawberry scent that lingers in the air. Luna looks at all the Muggle appliances in awe, and Ginny sets her things in the guest room she's claimed as her own. I turned on the radio to a pop station and decided to dance around like a dork. I started singing along without realizing I was doing it.

"You have a lovely voice Hermione. No wonder the Slonats are so attracted to you. They add to your sparkly aura." She smiles as if this is the most natural statement in the whole world.

**Ginny's POV**

I was perfectly fine getting ready to apparate into town until Mione reminded me that Muggles weren't used to that.

"So how do we go anywhere?"

She rolled her perfectly lined eyes, put her purse on her shoulder, and grabbed Luna's and my hand out the door. She locked the door, and walked to the elevator.

"I chose to live right in the middle of Muggle London so I could walk wherever I can. And later when we're loaded down with bags, I can call us a cab."

Our first stop, we didn't buy anything, but we did have plenty of fun trying things on. But then, on our third stop, I found this beautiful dress that I fell in love with. I looked at my meager amounts of Muggle money, then the dress longingly, and frowned.

"Go try it on. That's the dress for you, we both know it."

I see Mione standing with her arms crossed and a small smile on her face. I make an awkward face.

"I haven't enough for it. Mum was able to give me a little, and George offered more, but I was embarrassed I suppose. Harry tried giving me an ungodly amount that I felt bad for even remotely considering taking. Maybe we'll find my dress at one of the vintage stores, a secondhand store."

"No. Now, George is your brother, he can help you. Harry is your soul mate and probably future husband, so that's okay too. But you are a prideful girl, I understand that. This is why I am buying you this dress or whatever other dress you decide you want. And accessories, shoes, a mask. And you will not refuse me because it is your birthday present from me. Understood? Good, now go try on that gorgeous dress."

I just hugged her at that point.

**Draco's POV**

I checked over the text I just sent to Hermione.

'Wanna meet at The Three Broomsticks at four thirty? We can have a butterbeer and a small meal, on me, as we ask more questions.'

'I'm so sorry! I'm currently in Muggle London, shopping without the paparazzi bothering me. They've been hounding me since the war ended. I wish I could've made it though. Maybe when I get back?'

Blaise read the text over my shoulder and patted my back.

"Harsh mate. But it wasn't a rejection."

I looked at him like he was an idiot.

"No, really. She tried scheduling something in place of her avoiding witches like Rita Skeeter. Gods that woman is mad."

**Hermione's POV*

As Ginny and Luna were filling their plates at the buffet, I saw a blonde muscled fellow looking at me curiously and looking at something in his wallet. He came up to me quietly.

"Excuse me, are you.. Her-my-oh-nee..? Granger?" My eyes widen and I nod a little cautiously. He grins. "And you know Harry Potter?"

I nod again. Clearly, I found someone that doesn't know I'm best friends with him. Odd.

"Erm, let me introduce myself. You've probably heard things about me, and none of them were pleasant I'm assuming. My name is Dudley Dursley, and Harry is my cousin. Would you by chance know how I could reach him? I've got some things I'd like to apologize for, as well as I'd like to try to reconnect with him. Be the cousin I wasn't while growing up... I've wanted to for a while now, ever since the dementors..."

Ginny and Luna come back with plates filled with food they want to try. They look at him oddly as I ask him to please sit while I fetch a pen and paper to write my address down.

"This is my Muggle residence. Even when I'm not there, Athena, my owl, checks for any Muggle post and brings it to me. I'll make sure your letter gets to Harry. In your letter, you might want to include that you need an owl of your own or his to check for letters from you. How did you know me?"

He hands me a picture of Harry, Ron, and I from the end of first year.

"Harry accidentally left this under a board in his bedroom. It had your names written on them, and I've met Ron. I keep it because it's the only picture I have of Harry at all, and it's also a moving photograph, which I think is simply marvelous. My mates think it's the latest tech that they can't afford or something."

-the next afternoon back at Hogwarts, still in Hermione's POV-

I immediately sent Draco a text telling him I was back, and maybe we could meet up after dinner with Blaise and Padma in their common room who had asked me to go on a 'study double date'. I was not looking forward to that obnoxiously loud dinner.

'Ever dealt with a whole school of underclassmen being rather loud after the first Hogsmeade visit? Probably. I'll be skipping dinner tonight so I don't have to hear about all the latest purchases, how Zonko's compares to WWW in Diagon Alley, all that. I'll be eating privately. Care to join me?'

My heart thudded. Calm down, it's not a date, he's just not always a social butterfly. Especially with how people still stared at him.

'Perfectly fine. We can just eat in our common room. -sighs- The house elves would be happy to help. Did Blaise ask you for the "study double date" too? He and Padma invited me whilst I was headed to drop off my things. Told me you were invited too.'

'Zabini invited me already. Although, I think told me to be there is more accurate. Patil is apparently making him do these blasted things with every eighth year. We are the second to say yes. Oh, and I know where their room is and how to get in. Their portrait isn't nearly as sarcastic.'

A/N: No poems or drawing descriptions today, but there is a little bit of Dudley Dursley. I really really wanted a Harry/Dudley reunion, and I want Molly to adopt Petunia. I don't like Vernon, he's just a dick. But I think Petunia and Dudley have redeemable personalities. More next time I'm on.:)
