Chapter 35: Dragon and Lion

IT was just a normal day at the guild hall… well sort of… and that's not counting trying to rebuild it…

Something was off with Loke.

He was quiet and seemed almost pensive.

It was something Luna and Artemis noticed.

And they knew they had to talk to him.

So they found a private place to talk, after all what they needed to talk was very private.

"So…" sighed Loke.

"It's almost time isn't it?" asked Artemis.

"Yeah…" sighed Loke.

"Are you sure you can argue with him" asked Luna.

"I mean the circumstances have changed." Said Artemis.

"They have… but my punishment…" said Loke.

"But the Dark Kingdom." Said Luna.

"I know…" said Loke.

"We need as much help as we can get…" said Artemis.

"And I will help as long as I am here…" said Loke.

They both looked at him.

"There's no changing his ruling." Said Loke, "I have expected that."

He then started to walk away.

"I plan to help out as much I can with my remaining time left. Don't worry." Said Loke.

Luna and Artemis looked at each other with concern.

They were unsure if they could save him after that…

Meanwhile with the Dark Kingdom, Natsu out of armor were looking at various pictures of members of Fairy Tail.

"What are you doing?" asked Kunzite.

"Coming up with a plan to figure out the Sailor Guardians ad to get the Silver Crystal." Said Natsu.

"Are you trying to find their identities?" asked Kunzite.

"It doesn't really matter who we go after." Said the Natsu.

Kunzite scowled.

"What does that mean?" he asked.

"As long as we know the Sailor Guardians are connected to Fairy Tail, anyone can be used to get the Silver Crystal. In one way or another." Said Natsu.

"I see…" muttered Kunzite who knew he had something of a point.

"I just have to figure out what to do from that point." Said Natsu.

"Should you be the one to do this however?" asked Kunzite.

"What do you mean!" yelled Natsu.

"Endymion…" muttered Kunzite.

Natsu… well considering the brainwashing Endymion looked at Kunzite.

"What?" asked Endymion.

"It's probably not a good idea for you to do this." Said Kunzite.

"Why!" demanded Endymion.

"There are many for that." Said Kunzite.

"I'm still going to do it… and you're not going to stop me…" he muttered.

Kunzite scowled, of course he couldn't tell him why he thought it was a bad idea for him to do that… after he didn't know that he was brainwashed after all.

However at the same time if he was gone he wouldn't mind to be honest…

After all there was a chance the brainwashing could eventually fail.

He was going to go after someone from Fairy Tail there was a chance they could overcome him.

They did know his magic after all… it would make sense for someone to know how to overcome it…

"Remember to dress like Dragon Knight!" called out Kunzite.

Endymion scowled remembering that was an order from Queen Beryl.

He didn't understand why it was an order, but he had to follow it.

And so he turned into Dragon Knight and went with the plan.

He began to tail various members of Fairy Tail… planning on various things or seeing if he could see their ties to the Sailor Guardian.

However at the moment he decided to lay low and just watch them before formulating a plan.

However he wasn't being as subtle as he thought.

Several of them noticed him.

But they weren't sure what to do… or should they tell.

However among those that were being followed were Loke.

The ones who were being followed were talking.

"Should we even tell anyone?" asked one of them.

"UI mean we don't even know where the Sailor Guardians are most of the time." Said another.

"Don't worry…" said Loke, "I'll be the one to handle him… if it's the last thing I do…"

"Don't joke like that Loke!" scolded one of them .

"Yeah…" said another.

Loke just waved them off.

He was also being 100 percent serious… about it being the last thing he did.

And so Loke waited for Dragon Knight to start following them.

And thankfully it didn't take too long for him to do so.

"So I know you're following me." Said Loke.

Dragon Knight revealed himself.

"So you knew I was following you? "asked Dragon Knight.

"you're still kind of an idiot even when brainwashed." Said Loke shrugging.

"What does that mean?" asked Dragon Knight.

"I guess they erased their memories then." Said Loke, "If you don't know what I'm talking about."

"What?" asked Dragon Knight.

"exactly!" said Loke.

Dragon Knight glared at him.

"I probably won't be able to much to you… but I think I need to at least try to help as much as I can./" said Loke.

"What does that mean?" asked Dragon Knight.

Loke just sighed knowing that it wouldn't make any sense.

"You know what… just never mind…" said Loke.

"Whatever…" said Dragon Knight, "I guess I have to use you as bait to lure out the Sailor Guardians."

"Yeah I'd rather not." Said Loke.

That was when Dragon Knight sent out a fireball at him, but Loke managed to dodge.

"I will weakness you enough to Lisanna can heal you…" thought Loke as he got ready to fight.

HE created a tornado with his rings.

But Dragon Knight was able to add fire to the tornado making it worse.

"So you want to do this then…" said Dragon Knight.

"Of course." Said Loke.

However many people noticed them fighting, after all a magical fight would be something to be noticed… even if it was a town with one of the most powerful guilds around.

Many people ran to the guild hall as the fight got started .

At the Guild Hall Luna sighed.

"Luna what's wrong?" asked Lisanna.

"It's hard to explain…" sighed Luna.

She wasn't sure what she should say about Loke.

That was when the towns people showed up.

"Loke is fighting a guy dressed in armor!" they yelled.

"Wait are you serious?" asked Lisanna.

They nodded.

"Does the armor look like a dragon?" asked Cana.

They nodded again.

"That idiot!" yelled Luna knowing why he was fighting him.

She turned to her human form and ran off… she did sheepishly come back .

"Which way was he?" asked Luna blushing.

Those who came to tell them sweat dropped.

"We have to go help him…" said Erza.

The others nodded knowing she was right.

Back with the fight…

Dragon Knight sent out a stream of course at Loke, however the Fairy Tail wizard dodged.

He wasn't sure what he should do next.

However that was when he felt it.

Something wrong.

That was when Dragon Knight punched him.

"You're just putting on a show aren't you?" asked Dragon Knight.

Loke didn't answer him.

He created another tornado but Dragon Knight was ready for it.

"That's pathic you know…" said Dragon Knight, "Weak pathetic magic."

Dragon Knight then punched him hard.

He knew it wouldn't worked very but he felt like he had to try.

"Natsu stop this…" Loke said rather weakly.

"What!" said Dragon Knight confused.

Before more could be said.

"Supreme Thunder!" called out a voice.

Dragon Knight dodged the attack.

He turned and saw that the Sailor Guardians had arrived.

"So it's you…" said Dragon Knight, "I knew you would show up…"

Loke sighed when they showed up.

"Hey are you okay?" Sailor Mercury asked me.

"No… I'm not… but I wasn't expecting to be…" said Loke.

"What?" asked Sailor Mercury.

Sailor Moon looked at Dragon Knight.

She knew she had to try.

But then Loke started screaming.

She turned to him.

Dragon Knight looked at Loke, and thought it was a good idea to attack the Sailor Guardians.

But he then noticed the way he seemed to flickering.

"What the…" said Dragon Knight.

He was breathing heavily.

"Loke! Tell them!" yelled Luna who was there of course, "You have to tell them!"

Loke seemed to be stabilized a bit… he looked at Sailor Moon getting the feeling that the reason why he seemed to be stabilizing had to do with her…

Dragon Knight didn't know why but he was feeling conflicted, like he wanted to remain and help them…

But at the same time he figured he had to leave.

"I will be back…" said Dragon Knight.

With that Dragon Knight disappeared.

"Sorry Lisanna… I tried to help." Said Loke.

"Wait… what…" said Sailor Moon confused, "You know?"

"I knew all of your identities the whole time…" said Loke.

"How?" asked Sailor Mars.

Loke gave a sad smile.

"He has ties to the Moon Kingdom…" admitted Luna.

"What!" yelled all of them Sailor Venus.

Sailor Venus' eyes widened getting a familiar feeling.

That was when she realized why.

"You're Leo aren't you?" asked Sailor Venus.

"I should have known you would have figured it out…" said Loke.

"Wait… what?" asked Sailor Jupiter.

"Do you mean?" asked Sailor Moon.

"The Celestial Spirit." Said Sailor Venus nodding.

And with that they learned the truth about Loke… but not the whole truth…

The truth being that he didn't have very much time left…
