"Olly, go relax in a spring!" Olivia commanded me. "It'll be sure to cool your nerves!"
I watched as Olivia floated off after Mario. She had taken me to Shangri-Spa to give me a break from life for a while. I looked at the spring in front of me.
"'The Spring of Bliss'...sounds nice."
"Oh, yes! Very nice indeed!" An Angelic Toad said, coming up from behind me. "It'll make you feel like a different person!"
I returned my gaze to the spring. The mix of hot and cold tempted me even more. It seemed to call to me...
"Go on, your Kinglyness! Try it for yourself!" He pressured.
"Oh...alright." I entered the spring, going into the warmth just enough that only my head was visible. "Ahh...it is nice." I continued enjoying it for a little while more before a strange feeling came over me. "Hm?"
"Oh good! It's working!"
"What's the purpose of this spring anyhow?"
"To renew yourself, of course!"
I eximined the Toad with a strange expression. "Explain, please?"
"The spring of Bliss is supposed to undo folds and creases!"
"...undo...?" I asked, making sure I heard him properly.
"Yup! You will be one of us!" He said. "One of the 'flat freaks' you hated so much! Now you will feel our pain!"
"How about no." I disagreed, floating out of the water. "I apologize, but if I were to unfold, I would vanish from this world."
"Oh." He rubbed the back of his head. "Well then...I didn't realize. I'm sorry."
"Oho! It's quite alright!" I comforted. "I need to find my sister though. I hope you have a good day!" I bowed.
