At Royal Wood Elementary School. Nikki aka Scoop published her new article in the school newspaper.
(Note: Nikki replaces Alya in the story. Like Alya, Nikki is a school reporter and Marinette's best friend.)
"Your articles are really amazing, Scoop. What will your next article be?" One of the students asks the girl with the short black hair.
"My next one? Will find out the identity of the three superheroes who protect Royal Wood." Nikki brought her new topic to the school newspaper.
During the dinner break, Nikki was looking at the pieces of the newspaper clippings. One photo showed the three heroes stopping a city bus that had lost control.
"Ladybug has blue hair and uses a yoyo as a weapon. Cat Noir is blond and uses a staff. Black-haired ace kings and his weapon is playing cards. All three are student age. from Royal Wood Elementary School. "
She examines the photo closer with her magnifying glass and notices Ladybug's earring.
"The earring! If I remember, Jordan's daughter had the same ones last week. That's her Ladybug!"
Nikki runs out of her reporters office and goes to see this classmate at her locker.
"Hi Jordan girl."
"Hi Nikki, do you want the interview for the school newspaper?"
"Yeah, Jordan girl or do I mean Ladybug?"
"What ?! I'm not Ladybug. I'm an ordinary girl."
"Sure. I know it's you. The proof is your earrings with black dots like a ladybug. And besides, I see that you also have the yoyo." She rummages in Jordan girl's locker and grabs the red yoyo.
"Hey! These are collectibles. I'm a huge Ladybug fan."
"Liar. You are Ladybug, confess!" Nikki is still rummaging through Jordan's daughter's locker.
"Nikki, stop! It's my business, it's private!"
Nikki doesn't listen to her because she absolutely wants to find proof that her classmate is indeed Ladybug despite her disagreement.
She continues until the manager arrives and sends her to his office.
"So Miss Nikki Speaker, digging into other people's belongings?" Wilbur Huggins question.
"Principal Wilbur Huggins. I have a good reason. I discovered Ladybug's true identity."
"It doesn't matter if you have a good reason. It's forbidden. Detention Miss Speaker, for three weeks."
"It's unfair! Wait and I'll post on the school blog."
"Miss Speaker. Your blog will be closed for the duration of your three weeks in detention."
Nikki is angry and her negative emotions are felt by Hawk Moth.
The scene changes to Hawk Moth's lair.
"A young journalist who is prevented from expressing herself. I'm going to give her a good scoop. Go on little Akuma, go blacken her heart!"
The black butterfly flies out the window and arrives in the detention room, getting absorbed by Nikki's phone.
{Lady Wi-Fi, I'm Hawk Moth. Thanks to your phone you will be able to discover the identity of the three super heroes of Royal Wood. In return, you have to bring me their Miraculous. }
"We can't silence the truth!" She changes into Lady Wi-Fi.
At the same time, Principal Huggins arrives.
"Silence in the holding room…" Lady Wi-Fi throws the pause icon at the bald man.
"Principal Wilbur Huggins, what's going on… ?!" Cheryl is frozen by the pause icon.
"The truth will come out in broad daylight!" Lady Wi-Fi brings up an arrow icon to fly away.
The villain walks towards the school doors and places a locked icon on the doors.
"After that, she's not going to be able to go out or ask her teammates for help." She says.
In Ms Johnson's classroom. Jordan girl receives a call on her phone.
"Students, what did I say about class calls?" Agne reminds her students.
"Sorry Mrs Johnson. I thought I shut it down." Jordan girl tries to turn it off but her phone lights up and Lady Wi-Fi appears.
"Hello Jordan girl or I should have said, Ladybug."
"Nikki?" Jordan girl recognizes the young journalist.
"I am no longer Nikki, I am Lady Wi-Fi and I will reveal your identity live." The villain grabs the girl and the two disappear into the phone.
And both appear in the school's media room. Pupils try to leave the school but the doors are blocked by illuminated locks.
"Nikki has turned into a villain, we have to stop her."
"You're right. Quickly transformed." Marinette runs to the other side of the school.
"Clyde, I'll try to see if I can fit an adult." Lincoln lies so he can look for a place to transform.
"OK, ."
"I'm going to go to the bathroom." Adrien says.
Lincoln goes to the principal's office and Adrien goes to the bathroom. They take the opportunity to transform.
The three heroes are in front of the multimedia room door.
"My Lady, how did you get here?" Cat asks the ladybug girl.
"I ... and you?" She changes the topic of conversation.
"It was among the students…" Cat said.
"… Me too." Ace of King too.
Outside in the multimedia room. Lady Wi-Fi had the camera hooked up to all of Royal Wood's live TVs and computers.
"In the audience today I have a big class. I'm going to show you the true identity of Ladybug." She films Jordan girl with the earrings.

"I told you: these are collectibles. They are not real ones, I cannot transform myself."
"Liar, you can do it. Transform immediately! In front of the camera."
Girl Jordan is scared because she doesn't want Lady Wi-Fi to get angry.
"Ladybug! Cat Noir! Ace of Kings! Help!"

Cat Noir: Cataclysm!
Cat Noir destroys the door with his special power and Ace King to call the Card Counter.
"I see she uses (scientific word for phone.) As a source of power."
"Eh?"
"Its power is the phone. The solution to stop it will be to cut the Wi-Fi."
"Wi-Fi." The ladybug girl sees the Wi-Fi panel on the wall of the media room.
Ladybug uses her power to conjure up a tin can.
"How can I use this?"
The three run to the Wi-Fi panel. The villain tries to stop the heroes by throwing pause icons to no avail.
So, she throws a lock icon on the Wi-Fi panel to prevent it from opening it.
"Now it will be impossible for you to open it."
"I wouldn't be sure if I was you." Card Counter takes the tin can.
She explains her idea in a simple way for the three heroes. The ladybug girl takes the microwave, puts the tin can inside, and uses the heat to smash the locked icon.
Disconnect the network. Lady Wi-Fi no longer has internet on her phone. Ladybug takes her phone, smashes it, and captures Akuma.
"Miraculous Ladybug !" Millions of ladybugs repair all damage.
Cheryl and Huggins are no longer on hiatus.
After school. Marinette walks with Nikki and says who it is.
"I hope after that you will give up trying to discover the secret identity of Ladybug?" Marinette would have hoped that her friend would drop this idea.
"Are you kidding? I will never give up on the idea. And this is the journalist in me speaking." Nikki is more determined.
