Disclaimer: Do you really think I own the Justice League?
Okay. I know this fanfic is stupid, but write a good review for me anyway!

Wayne Manor
The former Batman browsed over the pictures of his past loves once again, always painfully noting that one photograph was missing. It was buried… with the woman that was, as Terry had put it, "the girl." That picture, along with a whole album of other precious memories of Bruce and Diana together, were now in a marble tomb six feet underground on Themyscira. Bruce had had every trace of Diana in his home destroyed. Anything that reminded him of her turned out to be not only unbearably agonizing but also distracting to his life's mission. It was my fault. I didn't act quickly enough. But the thing that bothered him most was that he had allowed himself to grow intimate with her after the deaths of Darkseid and Luthor (though he knew they hadn't truly died). I let myself get cocky. I shouldn't have let her get so close. Batman let an innocent civilian nearly die because he was too distracted over her death. No… Bruce Wayne let her get too close…and caused Batman to be distracted. Then it was our fault.
"You know… you never did tell me who the girl was," a voice said softly behind Bruce. Brucehad known Terry had been standing and peering over his shoulder for quite some time but had not acknowledged the young man's presence.
His stealth is improving. "What do you want McGinnis?" Bruce muttered gruffly without even bothering a glance at his genetic son.
There was a pause as the new Batman shifted around uncomfortably. When he spoke, it was in a hesitant manner. "Just wanted to spend some time with my old man. There hasn't been trouble for a while, so…"
The withering old man sitting in the cushioned chair cast a suspicious look at the young man. Usually times like this meant that Terry wanted something Bruce wouldn't allow, but he saw the truth on the boy's face. Bruce grunted and stared back at the pictures. He knew he didn't have much time left. That's why Terry wanted to be there with him. Now he was even too weak to walk.
"Fine. Just thought if you weren't busy you could tell me some things about yourself and… them…" Terry said, eyeing the photos in Bruce's bony hands. He turned to leave but stopped midway when he heard Bruce sigh in defeat.
The original Batman closed his eyes and swallowed. He hadn't spoken his love's name in a long, long time. "Her name was… Diana…"
