The episode begins in a flashback of Lee Ping on his first day of school at Royal Wood.
"Class we have a new student. He's from New York. "
A blue haired Asian boy walked in.
"Hello my name is Lee Ping. I just moved to Royal Wood with my parents. "
The students wish Lee a warm welcome.
He sat down next to Clyde. The lesson begins, the young people write on their paper.
At the dinner break. Lincoln and Clyde go to the new guy to talk to him.
"Hello I'm Lincoln Loud and this is my best friend Clyde. If you need a guide to show you around Royal Wood. We will be happy to do so. " Lincoln proposes.
"It will be great." Lee agrees.
After school, Lincoln and Clyde take a tour of Lee Ping's school.
First, the city's comic book store.
"Cool, I've been looking for this ugly volume for months. "Lee finds a really rare Ace Savvy comic.
"Here you can find everything. Even the comics and collectible figurines. "Clyde told them.
"And Royal Wood still has some amazing things. Lincoln told them.
Often the place is Flip's Food & Fuel gas station.
"The slushies here are really delicious. "Lincoln said.
Lincoln, Clyde, and Lee drink Slushies for fruit. While drinking his Blueberry Slushie, Lee sees something that catches his eye.
He sees a green bracelet with a snake on it in the lost and found box.
"What is that?" When he was about to take the object, Flip stopped it.
"Hey! This strange object is not for sale. If the person doesn't come and claim it, I can sell it. How much do you have on you? "
"I have five dollars and 0.50 cents on me." Lee shows his money.
Flip takes the money and gives the item to Lee.
"Cool."
The scene changes to Lee's bedroom. He put the snake bracelet on his wrist and a luminous ball appeared.
The green sphere transforms into a mini snake-like creature.
"What!?"
Lee is really shocked to see this strange creature.
? : Hi, I'm Sass. I am the Kwami of the serpent.
"You can talk!?" The Asian boy screams and panics.
Lee's mother's voice: Lee, are you okay? I heard you scream.
Sass gestures to say nothing about his existence.
"Everything is fine. I only screamed for joy from my first day here. "
Lee's mom's voice: Ok, dinner will be ready soon.
"Okay..."
"Phew! Like I said, I am the Kwami of the serpent. I allow my wearer to go back in time, but be careful, you must not abuse this power. "Sass explains.
"Being able to go back in time? You mean I can become a superhero?"
"Yes, Lee. To transform you just pronounced Sass, Scales slither! "
"Sass, Scales -"
Lee's mom's voice: Lee, dinner is ready!
"Tell me Sass, do you like curry?"
"Sure. We Kwami love all dishes. "
Sass is hiding in Lee's left sleeve. During dinner, the Asian boy absent-mindedly gives pieces of curry to Sass.
The two have full bellies, and go to Lee's room.
"Sass, Scale slither!" Lee speaks the words.
"Wait, I haven't finished my explanations ..." The green Kwami is sucked into the bracelet.
Lee transforms into a snake-themed superhero. He wears a green suit, with a mask that looks like the head of a snake, and his weapon is a mini lyre.
"Cool."
He goes out the window to test his new skills in action.
He jumps from roof to roof of houses.
"Wouhou!"
The flashback ends with Lee having fun discovering his powers by stopping burglars.
"Yeah. Thanks to the training you have improved. "Sass said.
"It's true. Now I think about it, how did you end up in the lost and found box at Flip's Food & Fuel? " Lee never asked the question other than how the Serpent's Miraculous ended up in Flip's hands.
"I don't know myself. I was in the Miraculous box with the keeper and the next day I landed there. " Sass really has no idea how he ended up there.
"I see. As Vipeons I would do anything to protect the people of Royal Wood. "
"Whose are you going to help Ladybug, Black Cat and Ace of Kings in their mission to stop Hawk Moth?" "
"Yes."
The scene changes for Royal Wood Park. Marinette and Tikki are at the park again to collect the book.
"Tikki, you didn't say why this book is so important that you want to get it back. "The girl with the blue hair asks the ladybug Kwami.
"She's not important to me but I know someone who will be important to him. The Guardian of the Miraculous. " Tikki said.
"The Guardian of the Miraculous?"
Tikki brings Marinette to meet the famous Miraculous Guardian.
She arrives at the abode of an old man with a Hawaiian shirt.
"Hello young lady, it's been a long time." Master Fu comes out of his meditation.
"Are you the man I saved when he walked through and nearly got hit by the car?" Marinette recognizes him.
"That day was to test you. Marinette Dupain-Chen or Ladybug, we have a lot to say. "
The door closes dramatically.
