Author note: I don't think I'm the only one who wants to see a parental relation grow in
Sesshomaru to Rin. So I tried my hand at writing it. It's not that great but please comment and
tell me what I can do to make the next one better. Enjoy!
"I can't outrun them. They're going to catch up with me. falls down no!"
Sesshomaru looks over at the sleeping Rin. She was moving in her sleep. Apparently she was
having that dream again. The one of her death before he brought her back to life. Strangely
enough Sesshomaru felt compelled to reach over and comfort her. This was a strange and
unexpected feeling. He reached over and laid a hand on her face. Rin flinched at his touch, and
he quickly withdrew his hand, only to find the feeling had become stronger. This time when he
reached for her she did not move, and Sesshomaru gently picked her up and cradled her close to
him. She stopped whimpering and now looked peaceful. She woke up and saw Sesshomaru face
over her. Sesshomaru saw she was awake and to cover up the moment he said,
"It's time to go. Wake Jaken."
Rin looked at him dumbfounded for a second then smiled at him.
"What are you smiling at." he asked but didn't wait for an answer as he turned around a
smile played on the corners of his mouth.
