Bleed for Me

It was a few weeks later that Sakura was ensnared again.

Unexpected and disorienting could best describe her incident.

Sakura was tasked with preparing a salad to accompany the lunch with her teammates inside the Uchiha estate.

She had originally thought the estate to be empty because the Uchiha grounds were so quiet that she fell into a calm peace. She looked out the window to the garden which she could tell was carefully tended to. The flowers had begun blossoming and it was honestly one of her favourite seasons.

She admired the plants and all their bright colours.

She thought the flowers added a delicate and feminine touch to the otherwise strictly strong regal decorations of the Uchiha estate.

The sunlight filtering through the kitchen windows was delectable and she allowed herself to take a moment to soak in the rays.

That was the moment that Shisui happened to be passing by the kitchen. He faltered in his steps, eyes stuck on how the sunlight created a heavenly glow around her head.

Her hair seemed even more pigmented, but it also shined an almost silver colour in the sun.

The colour flicker was extremely distracting for the anbu captain.

He hadn't seen her for long enough that he had begun missing her presence. It was confusing to him, why she was stuck in his mind because this had never happened to him before. He liked flustering her which was not a good sign. He had a logical voice in his head that reminded him who she belonged to, but the less logical side of him acted on impulses he normally would never entertain.

Like watching her in the kitchen. A deadly assassin distracted by simple things like colours was unheard of.

.

She was a colour he wanted to dip both hands into.

.

Enough time had passed that Sakura had almost forgotten about the embarrassing situation of walking in on Sasuke's older brother.

That however did not erase the memory of Sasuke's older brother and cousin from her mind.

She had stupidly lost the ability to speak and to make it worse, Shisui had caught onto the fact that his proximity could destroy her composure.

She had spent far too much time trying to understand what about Shisui had caused her to turn into a tomato.

Well... he was attractive... all of the Uchiha were... but it was more than that and she was too stubborn to acknowledge what was right in front of her face.

Luckily she would have to deal with thoughts that were going to ruin her peaceful state of mind because neither of the two were home.

So she thought.

The ingredients were all out on top of the marble counter in front of her. She picked up a carrot and neatly peeled the outer layer of skin. Her body moved lithely to open a drawer to her right and capture a knife in her hand. She brought down the sharp instrument to cut through the flesh of the orange vegetable and continued the motion down the length of it.

Chop.

Her cutting board handled the weight of each slice well.

Chop.

Green eyes were focused on the vegetable in her hand.

Chop.

And then a loud clatter.

Sakura stumbled as her body automatically took a step back.

With all the grace of a swan Shisui had dropped onto the counter beside her cutting board.

Studying her movements caused the need to be close to her to consume him even though he knew he absolutely should not engage with the pink haired woman.

Storms of grey were once again pinning her to the spot.

Sakura's hand became agitated with a sharp pain that caused her to look down.

Shisui rested comfortably on his heels, his body assuming the natural position of an anbu member. His long legs were bent as he crouched on top of the counter's surface. His long arms rested on the edge of his knees. His eyes dropped to her hand where he saw a small drop of liquid staining her porcelain skin.

Sakura didn't have time to react as his arm suddenly dove to her wrist.

It felt like a blur.

One second she was almost touching the edge of the counter behind her and now she was falling forward.

The way her hair flashed silver due to the sunlight filtering in was beautiful but Shisui had to focus on her safety.

He didn't know what exactly had possessed him to drop onto the counter but it was too late now.

Sakura barely saw his hand make contact with her wrist before she had been yanked.

Her eyes flew up to his face.

He was possibly even more beautiful than the last time Sakura had seen him.

Her face flushed red in response to his proximity once again.

Shisui's eyes lit for a moment with appreciation for the shade of her skin but his expression remained regretful.

The smell of ginger and honey and something masculine invaded her senses, making her lightheaded. Like it did every time her nose was acquainted with it.

But that was only one of the things that caught Sakura off guard.

The soft lips that had wrapped around the fourth fingertip of her right hand sent her heart tumbling.

Her heart finally landed from its fall when she felt the warm and wet texture of Shisui's tongue caress the pad of her finger.

The stroke his tongue gave from underneath her first knuckle all the way up to push under her nail ceased the function of her heart.

The blood that had pooled under her nail was lazily lapped up by Shisui's mouth with ease. Completely frazzled the pink-haired kunoichi could only stare in shock.

"Does it hurt?" his playfulness gone upon noticing the cut.

Sakura's face reddened even more when she was unable to stop looking at the beautifully curved lips that rested against her fingertip.

Shisui waited for her to answer, mentally groaning at the taste of her skin.

His tongue was restless behind his lips.

Shisui could still taste the tang of her blood.

.

A fresh metallic flavour that he craved.

.

His tongue wanted to draw Sakura back into his mouth.

So he did just that.

He put his lips around her finger once again, this time he sucked gently and took his time savouring the taste of her.

Shisui hadn't really thought about it before situating himself in front of her. He had liked the concentration on her pretty features that he had noticed from the kitchen doorway. He gave into the urge to see her pretty features up close.

He was curious as to how she would react as well.

Finally letting her finger free from his mouth he looked up to see the deep blush staining her cheeks.

Their colour told him what he wanted to know but not enough at the same time. He wanted to know in detail how the woman below him ticked.

"Does this hurt?" he squeezed her finger gently and noticed the twitch of her hand in response.

The cut was deep and it made Shisui upset with himself for having caused the accident.

His free hand found itself into her pink strands, gripping at the base of her neck in a soothing manner.

"I'm sorry Sakura-chan."

Locking eyes once again, Sakura was able to see that the storm behind his eyes had ebbed and a smokey charcoal grey had taken its place.

His words were forgotten when a zap of energy kindled between them.

She was unprepared for the lightning of attraction that waltzed between them.

The sunlight caught one of his eyes and she saw how brilliantly luminous his eyes were coloured.

The same thing kinda happened for Shisui too.

Emerald shone in a stunning manner he had never seen before and in the next second, he was pulling her closer to the counter he was situated on.

It was a moment that neither could explain.

A moment that should not be happening.

But they were there frozen in a synergy that was spinning the room around them.

Shisui slipped off the counter and stood before her, completely wrapped up in the way the sun kissed her skin.

And Sakura's heart was racing for no good reason.

He was pulling her closer, until she was resting against his front.

His warmth was inviting and the way his hand wandered to her cheek made her lean in to the contact.

Shisui had stopped his breathing entirely as he watched the prettiest reaction to his touches.

In a moment of weakness he brought his other hand up to cup her other cheek.

He was about to do something he would regret but he was entirely unconcerned with the consequences at that moment.

His nature was being drawn out, and the way she was looking at him curiously with her bright eyes only made it worse.

Sakura was too preoccupied with Shisui's stunning features to notice how close they had gotten.

His nose was just shy of brushing her own when her eye lids began to feel heavy.

Shisui thought her smell to be far too intoxicating and he was aware that he should walk away.

But here he was.

Getting drunk off her closeness.

"Am I hurting you?" his voice was low and the words were whispered in a way that she curiously liked.

.

I'll kiss it better.

.

Before Sakura could answer, the call of her name from a younger Uchiha reached her ears.

Shisui was unable to step away from her and he had no desire to do so.

Sakura though stepped away from him just in time as Sasuke walked into the kitchen.

Shisui watched Sakura rush chakra to her face to get rid of the colour and became greatly irritated.

Sakura had a hard time looking at Shisui and decided to stare at the ground.

Sasuke's eyebrows drew together in confusion at the sight of his elder cousin standing in front of Sakura.

Shisui's back covered how close he really was to Sakura.

Close enough to see the anxiety eating away at her.

Shisui began to feel guilty, irritation put aside to realize what he had been about to do.

"Shisui wha-"

His question was cut short when his cousin interrupted with a simple "Cut."

Sasuke's eyes then caught the glint of the cooking utensil that lay on the ground.

Shisui in the next moment had materialized behind Sasuke.

"Get Sakura-chan a band-aid." His voice held a note of sadness that Sakura wasn't sure if she'd picked up.

With that the two team-mates were left alone in the kitchen.

The situation left the pink haired woman confused and frustrated with herself.

She had no idea what was happening to her.

Thinking about Shisui this way was ridiculous.

But his hands on her cheeks still burned her skin.

It took a moment for Sasuke to quickly find a drawer with bandages before he had rounded the counter and grabbed her hand.

Sakura managed to string together a sentence in protest of Sasuke putting a band-aid on her but he wasn't listening.

Her hand tried to resist his pull and was not successful.

"Let me see." He said with a serious tone that was borderline scolding.

Sakura flushed a deeper shade of rose.

Sasuke's warm hand was tightly wrapped around her own, bringing her fingers up to his face for inspection.

She had a moment to admire his dark features.

It was a handsome trait that he held in common with both his brother and cousin.

Without her consent, the memory of his wet tongue licking her finger rose to the forefront of her mind. The way he'd perched himself like a hawk above her.

.

She was but a mere mouse that had been selected to receive his talons.

.

She broke out of her thought in time to realize how close Sasuke was to her when he looked up after smoothing the tape of the bandage over her finger.

His eyes were on her again.

Again her chest was smeared with a bright red.

Onyx flickered down again just like they had the last time.

Sakura could smell the earthy scent of fresh rain and wood from his body.

When his eyes lifted to hers again she took note of how the deeper layer of his scent reminded her of whiskey.

She didn't have a name for the spice her nose had picked out.

It could have just been Sasuke.

"T-thank you." she managed before lowering her eyes.

"Hn."

The raven-haired man had been too busy observing the shade of her skin to realize he'd held onto her hand for longer than necessary.

When Sakura looked back up curiously at him after a few seconds had passed he dropped her hand and walked out of the kitchen.

'What was he doing?' Sasuke questioned in his mind as he carried himself away from her.

He was irritated about the relevance that Sakura was a medic-nin.

Sakura let out a breath and sagged against the counter behind her.

Her hand still tingled from the warmth of Sasuke's hand.

She looked down to see a band-aid covering the spot Shisui's lips had been.

She cursed under her breath and shook her head quickly.

She lowered herself to pick up the knife she had dropped and turned around to wash it under the tap. She turned off the tap and used her left hand to flick the residual water off the surface of the blade.

Without letting her thoughts wander she moved back to the cutting board and returned to her forgotten task.

Chop.

Chop.

Even thuds could be heard as Shisui threw his kunai with more force than necessary at each target on the other side of the Uchiha complex.

Itachi glanced at his cousin and read the poorly hidden agitation in his muscles.

He smiled a little at seeing the bright red of the target bulls-eyes behind each embedded kunai.

I felt like adding a little bit more in and structuring this chapter.

Honestly Shisui might deserve his own story
