I don't own Total Drama and The Walking Dead.
Sorry if you find any grammar mistakes. I'm still learning English because it's not my first language.
kingvlad2011: Thank you! :)
Brendan: Here you go! :)
wood21: Personally I liked the episode. It showed very well how growing up in a world like this can place strain upon and sometimes break the fragile minds of children. Lizzie was not living in reality anymore, she just wanted everything to be okay
Glenn, Gwen, Tara, Noah, Izzy, Abraham, Eugene and Rosita were walking down the railroad tracks. Gwen was walking in the front of the group, keeping an eye on their surroundings, with Glenn walking closely behind her. Noah, Eugene and Tara were walking behind Glenn, the former two having another conversation with each other. Abraham, Izzy and Rosita were walking in the front of the group, with the former two walking in front of the latter.
"I already made myself clear about this matter." Eugene replied after Noah once again asked him about the cure, aware that the bookworms skepticims of him being a scientist was growing larger with each passing day, "I wish I could share this information with you, Noah, I really do, but it's classified."
Noah rolled his eyes at Eugene's attempt to shush him down. The bookworm wasn't afraid to hide his skepticims about Eugene being a scientist since the moment he found out about it from Abraham's group. A part of him wanted to believe in it but Eugene being a scientist that is capable of creating a cure just seemed too good to be true for him him. His hope for the cure for this thing died the moment his group encountered Dr. Jenner.
"Do I need repeat myself?" Noah asked, growing annoyed by Eugene using this response whenever he asked him about the cure. It just made him more suspicious about Eugene and made him question if he was a scientist at all, "This excuse that you're using everytime when someone asks you about the cure is not going to work on me."
"Very well." Eugene nodded after a moment of staying silent as he recalled one thing that he could share wth Noah, "I can share something with you if you really want to know something about it."
"Go on, then." Noah crossed his arms, "I'm waiting."
Eugene once again nodded and began his explanation as Noah listened carefully to what he had to say to him, Tara who was walking between them doing the same thing as the bookworm.
"...I'm well aware it sounds bananas." Eugene's explanation was nearing the end after a moment of explaining this to Noah and Tara, "But looking at the fossil record, knowing what I know about this infection, you cannot say for certain it isn't what killed off the dinosaurs. Now, do I believe that's what happened? No. But it's enjoyable as hell to think about an undead ankylosaur going after a diplodocus. That there is a video game worth a preorder. Speaking of video games, what kind of gamer were you? RPGs, shmup, sim racing?"
"You're going to talk about video games now?" Noah said at the sudden chance to the topic of their conversation, "Is this the important conversation right now? You do realize trying to change the subject is not going to make less skeptical?"
Noticing the tension rising between Eugene and Noah, Tara looked around herself and noticed something laying on the ground in front of her. She knelt down and picked it up, making Eugene and Noah look at her. Tara got herself back on her feet and showed off to Eugene and Noah what she just found on the ground. It was a single penny.
"Oh, hell, yeah. Score." Eugene commented Tara's recent finding as he set his eye on it, "A few more of those, a little aluminum foil and some bleach, you got yourself some volts, sister. Homemade battery."
"Here." Tara said, handing it to him.
"For reals?" Eugene asked, taking the penny from Tara, "You don't want?"
Tara nodded, "For reals."
"Much obliged." Eugene said in a grateful tone, putting the penny in his pocket.
Abraham looked at the orange haired girl walking next to him, wanting to ask her about something, "Izzy."
"Yes?" She asked him, titling her head towards him.
"What is it with that friend of yours?" Abraham asked, Izzy immediately realizing to who he was referring to, "This Noah. He acts as if he was some sort of investigator ever since I've told him about Eugene being a scientist, even though he was told. I'm sure that Eugene would share the information with us if he was allowed to."
"He's just being himself." Izzy replied, "You'll like him once you'll get to know him."
"I'll take your word for it." Abraham said, "We need to trust each other if we want our mission to succeed."
Izzy nodded her head, reaching into her pocket. She pulled out her pack of cigarettes and opened it. She shook her head at the amount of cigarettes she had left in her pack. She only had six of them left. She will have to find a new pack soon. She pulled out one cigarette from the pack and placed it between her teeth.
"You smoke?" Abraham questioned, looking at the cigarette between Izzy's teeth.
"From to time. I used to smoke only when I was stressed out but I started doing it more frequently as the time passed." Izzy replied as she held her pack out to Abraham, offering him one of her cigarettes, "You want one?"
"No, thanks." Abraham shook his head at her offer, declining it, "I prefer cigars."
"Cigars, huh?" Izzy responded as he placed her pack back into her pocket, "I guess you haven't smoke many cigars since it started."
"You're not wrong about that." Abraham nodded as Izzy reached into her other pocket and pulled out her lighter, "Tell you what, how about we share a cigar once we'll bring Eugene to Washington? We will surely find at least a few of them on our way there."
Izzy smiled as she used her lighter to lit up her cigarette, "I like the idea but I'll have to think about joining you in your mission. Our friends are still out there. We need to find them."
"Glenn! Come here!" Gwen called out for Glenn from the front of the group, "You gotta see this!"
Glenn jogged up to Gwen's side, spotting the thing that caught the goth's attention. His eyes widened. It was a sign with the map to Terminus. They already saw a few of these in the past few days but this particular sign had one more thing on it, this thing being what caught Gwen's attention and made Glenn's eyes almost pop out of it's sockets. This sign had a message written in blood for them which said.
Glenn Gwen Bridgette Heather
Go to Terminus
Maggie Sasha Bob Trent Harold Leshawna Geoff and Alejandro
This message was enough for Glenn. He immediately pushed himself into run, having only one task in his mind at this moment. This task being reaching Terminus as soon as possible and reuniting with his wife. His friends from his group read the message as well. Maggie, Sasha, Bob, Trent, Harold, Leshawna, Geoff and Alejandro were alive. They were alive and well and heading towards this Terminus whatever this place was. It only motivated them more to continue their journey to Terminus.
Rick, Carl, Chris, Chef and Michonne were walking down the train tracks, heading towards the forest which was only a few meters away from them. Chef and Rick were walking in front of the group, the former keeping an eye on their surroundings as Chris, Carl and Michonne were walking closely behind them, doing their own thing.
"I think we got about a day's worth of water left." Rick announced.
Chef shook his head at this information, "Not good. We'll have to find more soon if we don't want to
"We're lucky it's cooled off a little bit." Rick stated.
"Yeah." Chef nodded, "But we have no idea with what kind of weather we'll have to deal with tommorow."
Rick nodded his head in agreement, "Yeah. We'll have to keep that in mind."
"What are your thoughts about it?" Chef asked Michonne, Chris and Carl but received no answer from them. He turned around to look at the rest, with Rick following his example, feeling how his usual expression turned into more of a confused one, "...What are you doing?"
They saw Carl and Michonne walking on the rails, to see who can stay balanced the longest as Chris was walking between them, commenting everything happening around him as if he was once again a TV host and was hosting another reality show.
"Carl of Screaming Gophers and Michonne of Killer Bass are going head to head. It seems like this challenge will last much longer than we have originally anticipated" Chris commented, shifting his gaze between Carl and Michonne, "Which one will win the challenge for their team? Which team will get the reward and which team will have to send someone home? We'll find out in a second!"
"Winning a bet." Carl replied to Chef's question.
"In your dreams." Michonne chuckled.
"I'm still on." Carl said, almost jinxing himself as he almost fell off the rail.
"You spoke too soon, wise guy." Michonne pointed out in return, letting out another chuckle. Trying to use this situation to her advantage, she attempted to play dirty by trying to push him off the rail, but unfortunely for her but fortunely for Carl it quickly backfired and she accidentaly fell off herself, which meant only one thing. She the bet she made with Carl.
"Michonne attempted to play dirty but it backfired and she tripped over her own feet and fell down the teack which means the winner is Carl of Screaming Gophers!" Chris announced as he reached into one of his pockets and pulled the reward he had prepared for the winner which happened to be three candy bars. He held them out to Carl, "He won this challlenge for his team which means he gets to choose which candy bar he gets to eat! Which one will he choose?"
Carl jumped off the rail and laughed at Chris showing off his skills of being the TV host, entertained by it. He looked down at the candy bars on the hosts hand, "Is that really the last Big Cat?"
Chris nodded in confirmation, "It is."
This was the only answer that Carl needed. He reached his hand out and placed it on top of the Big Cat, choosing it as his prize, making Michonne let out a playful groan, "Oh, come on."
"Hey, but you said winner's choice." Carl pointed out.
"Go ahead, take it. It's yours." Michonne said as Carl took the candy bar from Chris' hand and began unwrapping it, "You won it fair and square."
Carl threw the wrapper aside and split the candy bar into two equal parts before holding out one of the parts to Michonne, "Come on, we always share."
Michonne smiled and took her part from Carl, but didn't began eating it right away. She splt it into the two equal parts, just like Carl did a second earlier and held out one of the parts to Chris.
"Huh?" Chris asked her in confusion, "Why are you giving this to me? I wasn't a part of your bet."
"But you provided us some good commentary." Michonne replied, "For that, I think you deserve a piece."
Carl nodded in agreement, "She's right, Chris."
Chris smiled and took his part from Michonne, "Thanks."
Rick and Chef exchanged looks and smiled at the view of the three of them bonding.
Daryl, Duncan and Ezekiel were hunting in the forest. They left the camp they set up yesterday along with Joe's group in the early morning, intending to catch some breakfast for each other. Since Ezekiel didn't have a crossbow or a bow or a silenced gun, he mostly trailed along Daryl and Duncan.
"Why don't we leave, eh? They're not safe." He asked Daryl, walking closely behind him and Duncan, "We can go back to the camp, get our things and just go." Daryl didn't respond to him so he continued, "Did you see the way Dan was looking at me and Duncan yesterday?" The homeschool asked Daryl another question, "He was looking at us as if we were his new toy to play with, me especially."
"I know." Daryl grunted, "I saw. I already made myself clear to them. They ain't gonna touch you or Duncan, not when I'm around."
Ezekiel wanted to voice his protest but decided not to. He trusted Daryl and trusted his decisions so he decided to remain silent, even though he wasn't as close with him as Duncan was.
"Redneck." Duncan quietly called out for Daryl, earning his attention. He looked at Duncan who pointed at something ahead of them. Daryl looked in the direction Duncan was pointing at and noticed a grey rabbit. Daryl looked back at Duncan and nodded his head at him. The juvie nodded his head in return, understanding what Daryl wanted him to do.
Duncan took out one of his arrows and began preparing himself to take the shot at the rabbit, wanting to make the small animal his breakfast. It wasn't much for the three of them, but it was still something, right? He was about to release an arrow at the rabbit but someone else killed the animal for him. He, Ezekiel and Daryl turned around and saw Len standing behind them.
Daryl glared at the bowman, "What the hell are you doing?"
"Catching me some breakfast." Len replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Duncan walked over to the now dead rabbit and knelt down in front of it, "Well, good luck with that, because this one is ours."
"My arrow's the onethat hit first." Len argued, "Cottontail belongs to me."
"We've been out here since before the sun came up." Daryl responded to Len's words as he and Ezekiel stood in front of the bowman as Duncan yanked Len's arrow from the rabbit.
"You see, the rules of the hunt don't mean jack out here. Now, that rabbit you're holding is claimed, boy." Len explained, "Claimed whether you like it or not. So I was you, I'd hand it over. Now before you get to wishing you ain't never even got out of bed this morning."
Duncan picked up the rabbit and came over to Daryl's and Ezekiel's side, "It ain't yours."
Len glared at Duncan, clearly angered that the young man was not giving him the rabbit which he claimed for himself, "It's not. I claimed it for myself whether you like it or not."
"If you want to follow this logic, then I claimed it for myself the moment I set my eyes on it." Duncan retorted, clearly annoyed by Len.
Len smirked at Duncan's response as he shifted his gaze towards Daryl, "You know, I'll bet this bitch got you all messed up, hmm?" Daryl shot him an angered look and started walking away, with Ezekiel and Duncan following him, "Am I right?" The group of three proceeded to walk away from him, "Got you walking around here like a dead man who just lost himself a piece of tail." Daryl stopped dead in his tracks and clenched his hand into a fist, making Duncan and Ezekiel look at him, "Must have been a good'un. Tell me something. Was it one of the little'uns?"
"Let's go, Daryl." Ezekiel said to Daryl, not wanting to anger anyone from Joe's group because he didn't want to mess with people by the like of them as Daryl reached into his sheath, pulling out his knife.
"'Cause they don't last too long out here." Len finished what he was saying, shaking his head.
Daryl pulled out his knife and was about to charge at Len and stab him but Joe came up behind him and grabbed his arm to stop him, "Easy, fellas, easy." He set his gaze on Daryl, Duncan and Ezekiel as Len laughed, "Let's just put our weapons down. See if we can't figure out what's really the problem here, huh?" Daryl lowered his knife as Joe stepped in between him and Len, "You claimed it?"
Len nodded his head, wrapping his bow around his back, "Hell, yeah."
Joe looked at Duncan as if there wasn't anything else he could do, "Well, there you go. That critter belongs to Len."
"What's that mean, eh?" Ezekiel asked Joe and Len, standing next to Duncan, "Claimed?"
"Looks like I owe you three an explanation." Joe stated, knowing that Daryl, Duncan and Ezekiel had no idea about the rules that his group was following, "See, going it alone, that ain't an option nowadays. Still, it is survival of the fittest. That's a paradox right there. So I laid out some rules of the road to keep things from going Darwin every couple hours. Keep our merry band together and stress-free. All you got to do is claim. That's how you mark your territory, your prey, your bed at night. One word, claimed."
"I ain't claiming nothing." Daryl grunted as Len frowned, tired of this.
"We're gonna teach them, right?" Len asked as Joe looked at him, "The rules say we got to teach him."
"It wouldn't be fair to punish you three for violating a rule you never even knew existed." Joe stated as Len let out an annoyed sigh, running his hand through his forehead.
"There ain't no rules no more." Daryl stated.
"Oh, there are." Joe replied, "You know that. That's why I didn't kill you for the crossbow or your friends when we stumbled upon them." He reached his hand towards the rabbit in Duncan's grasp, making the juvie move his hand away from him, "Easy there, partner."
He grabbed the rabbit and placed it against the nearest tree. He took out a hatchet and cut it in half, blood splattering all over the three. He grabbed the other half and tossed it over to Len. The bowman grabbed his half and stared at the leader of his group for a moment before storming away from Joe, Daryl, Duncan and Ezekiel, heading back to the camp.
"Claimed. That's all you got to say." Joe told the recent additions to his group, "Ass end is still an end."
Glenn, Gwen, Tara, Noah, Izzy, Abraham, Eugene and Rosita stumbled upon a tower in the middle of nowhere as the group of eight continued to walk along railroad tracks for the rest of the day, with Glenn walking far ahead of them ever since he saw the sign with the message for him written by his wife and some of the people from his group.
"Hold up!" Abraham yelled out to Glenn from the back of the group, making him turn around to look at him and the rest, "We're stopping here. Tired is slow. Slow is dead."
Glenn looked up, "It's barely noon."
"I don't givea monkey's left nut." Abraham replied, "None of us has slept more than a couple hours straight since we went all Casey Jones."
"I can't believe I' saying this, but he's right Glenn." Noah said to his friend as he let out a deep breath, tired because of all the walking they did ever since they hit the road this morning, "I want you find your wife as much as you do but we need to rest, man."
"Give us an hour and we'll hit the road again." Gwen nodded in agreement, "Believe me, I want to get to Terminus as much as you want to. The people I care about are headed there too and I want to see them again as much as you want to see Maggie."
They all looked up at the tower when they heard familiar growling coming from the above and saw the walker walking towards the edge of the said building and was about to fall onto Eugene. Abraham pushed Eugene out of it's way which also knocked down Tara who was standing next to him, causing her to sprain her knee. The walker fell of the edge and landed on the ground, splattering blood all over it.
Rosita went to Tara who was on the ground, "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine." Tara replied, holding her sprained knee.
"Are you sure?" Gwen questioned, looking down at Tara in concern, "You don't look alright to me."
"Yeah." Tara replied as Izzy held her hand out to her. She grabbed it and Izzy brought her back on her feet.
Glenn made his way to Tara's side, "You wanna stop or you wanna keep going?"
"No, keep going." Tara answered, "I'm good."
"You sure?" Gwen wanted to be sure if Tara was telling the truth or if it was lying, "I know that I'm repeating myself, but you don't look alright to me."
Tara nodded, "Yeah."
Glenn turned away from Tara and looked at the rest of the group, "Look, if she can keep going, we can all keep going."
It's been a few hours since Daryl, Duncan and Ezekiel left the camp with Joe's group. They were walking down the train tracks they have come across not long after leaving their camp. Duncan, Daryl and Ezekiel learned a lot more about Joe's group and learned how comfortable they were with sharing the information about the terrible things they have committed over the past few months with them.
Ezekiel lost the count of how many times he felt sick in his stomach and Duncan lost the count of how many times he had to clench his hand into a fist to stop himself from pulling out his knife and doing something he'd most likely regret, considering how outnumbered his group was. Daryl, even though he was sickened by the actions committed by Joe's group as much as Ezekiel and Duncan were, mostly stayed silent whenever someone talked with him.
Despise all of this, they stayed with them throughout the day. They walked in the back of the group, sharing a word with each other from time to time, following Joe's group as they walked in front of them. At least it was like that until Joe slowed up a little and started walking beside them. He lit up his cigarette and asked them if they wanted one. They all declined his offer.
They walked in silence for the few minutes until Joe decided to speak up, "So what's the plan, guys?"
"How so?" Daryl asked him.
"You're with us now, but you ain't soon?" Joe explained to Daryl what he meant by his question.
"Yep." Duncan nodded as Ezekiel nodded his head in agreement, not liking being around Joe's group much more than he did last night after learning more about them.
"So what's the plan?" Joe asked out of curiosity.
Daryl shrugged, "Just looking for the right place is all."
"We were on the road for quite some time now." Duncan added, "It would be good to finally find a place to settle down."
"Oh, we ain't good enough for you, huh?" Joe asked, taking a drag from his cigarette.
"Some of you ain't exactly friendly." Daryl stated.
"You ain't so friendly yourself." Joe smiled, shaking his head, "I would count Duncan as unfriendly as well, but he was able to listen to Cyrus entire story about how he got his Baretta from his dad and how much he hated him without telling him to go straight to the point which is I have to admit, something deeply admirable. I like the guy, but he really likes to make this story far longer than it needs to me. Zeke is not that bad either. You know you need a group out here."
"Maybe we don't." Daryl replied, "The three of us might be enough."
"No, you do." Joe stated, "You should be with us."
Everyone glanced ahead of them when he familiar sound of groaning rang through their ears and noticed three walkers coming towards them. Tony, Billy, Dan, Micah and Lucas stepped forward from the group and made their way towards them. Tony used his M16 to push one walker towards Dan who held it back by it's arms, allowing Billy to finish it off by stabbing it in the head as Micah kicked the knee of the second walker, bringing it down to the ground and stabbed it in the head with his knife, Lucas doing the same thing with the third walker.
"People don't got to be friendly. We don't have to be nice. We don't have to be brothers in arms." Joe continued, "We just got to follow the rules. You claim. If you steal, you keel. I know that sounds a little funny, but nobody laughs when something goes missing. And you don't lie. 'Cause that's a slippery slope indeed."
"What happens if you one of them, eh?" Ezekiel wanted to know what would happen to him or Duncan or Daryl if one of them will ever break one of Joe's rules during their stay with his group which hopefully won't be a long one.
"Oh, you catch a beatin'." Joe replied, "The severity of which depends upon the offense and the general attitude of the day. But that don't happen much 'cause when men like us follow rules and cooperate a little bit, well, the world becomes ours." He looked ahead of him at his group and whistled, earning their attention. He pointed at the building on the left side of the tracks, "Right there. It's our abode for the evening."
"Hey." Daryl said as Joe looked at him, "There ain't no us."
Duncan nodded his head in agreement, "We never said that we will join you permanently."
"You leaving right now?" Joe asked them. Duncan, Daryl and Ezekiel stayed silent, the latter wanted to confirm their departure from Joe's group to the leader of the said group, but he had no idea what Daryl and Duncan were thinking about this matter which made him stay silent, "No? Then it sure seems like there's an us."
He stepped away from them and made his way to his group who was trying to find a way how to enter this building. Duncan, Daryl and Ezekiel exchanged looks with each other before following Joe. They made their way to the entrance to the building as Micah and Tony slid it open. Everyone walked into the building, with Duncan, Daryl and Ezekiel being the last ones to enter.
Daryl locked the entrance to the building as Duncan and Ezekiel eyed the insides of the building that they just entered. It clearly was some sort of huge car garage before the world turned into what it is today. Joe's group spread out across the building as Daryl catched up to Duncan and Ezekiel.
"They ain't here." Tony said, looking around the place as Daryl removed the sheet covering one of the cars, "Nobody's been here for a while. Whoever was, they got all the gas."
"That don't matter." Joe replied, "We're getting closer. I can feel it."
Billy walked over to the car Daryl has uncovered, "Claimed."
He kicked the bag Daryl, Ezekiel and Duncan were keeping their stuff in away and looked at the Dixon expectantly, waiting for him to leave. Daryl picked up his crossbow from the trunk of the car and walked over to Ezekiel and Duncan, the latter now carrying their bag. The group of three continued to move around the building, hearing how the members of Joe's group were claiming more and more spots in this building for each other.
They found one spot for each other in the back of the building next to the light green car. It may have not been the most comfortable one but it was still something. Duncan sat down on the floor, leaning against the trunk of the car as Ezekiel sat down next him, not really having any other spots. Daryl laid down on the floor, chewing on the cigar roll and looked up at the ceiling, ignoring the look Len send his, Duncan and Ezekiel's way.
The group of eight continued to walk along the tracks for the rest of the day. A dark tunnel appeared in front of them after they spent the last few hours walking. Glenn narrowed his eyes when he noticed something next to this tunnel, wanting to be sure if his eyes weren't playing things on him. They weren't. It was another message for him written by Maggie. He had to check if the blood which was used to write this message was fresh.
Glenn ran over to the sign and ran his hand through it, "It's still wet."
"They must be close." Gwen stated, referring to their friends, as she catched up to him with the rest of the group.
"We sure as Shinola can't go up and over." Abraham stated, "How about around?"
"No." Noah shook his head at Abraham's idea, "That'll take a day, maybe more."
"If Maggie went through, I'm going through." Glenn said, "We're close."
"Shut up a second. Your hear that?" Abraham asked. The sound of walkers, a lot of them growling, echoed from the tunnel, "That there is a long, dark tunnel full of reanimated corpses. I don't have full-on certainty that I can get Eugene through there alive. My recommendation would be take the day, make the detour and play it safe, but I know you're not gonna do that. So this is where we've got to part ways. I'm sorry. You're on your own."
"No, you're not." Tara assured Glenn as Abraham put his bag on the ground and began pulling out some stuff for Glenn and whoever was going to join him.
"We were traveling together since our home was destroyed." Gwen said, "I'm not leaving you."
"Our friends might be in somewhere in this tunnel." Izzy added, coming over to Glenn's side, "
Noah didn't say anything. He just nodded his head and walked over to Glenn, agreeing with what Tara, Gwen and Izzy just said to his friend as Glenn offered all them a grateful look.
Abraham looked up at Glenn and held out few cans from his bag to him as Glenn shook his head at his offer, "No, no, no. Those are yours. You guys will need them for your trip."
"You will too." Abraham replied to Glenn's words as Noah took the cans from him.
"Thank you." Gwen thanked Abraham for sharing his supplies with them, despise having an important mission going on, taking the flashlight from him, "Good luck in our mission. If we will ever come across each other again after we will find our friends, you can count on me."
"I'll keep that in mind." Abraham said as he pulled out a grenade from his bag and held it out to Izzy, "It looks like we won't be sharing a cigar in Washington."
"Looks like it." Izzy nodded, taking the grenade from him, "The offer was tempting but I need to find my friends."
Abraham stood up from his kneeling position and walked over to Eugene's side as Rosita came over to Glenn to say goodbye to him, "Good luck." She hugged him, "Try not to be an ass." She said to him jokingly before hugging Gwen, Tara, Noah and Izzy.
"You're all good people. Even you Noah, even though our interactions were far away from best." Eugene said as Rosita returned to his and Abraham's side, "I have to say that you are seriously hot, Tara."
"Yeah, I like girls." Tara replied to Eugene's compliment.
Eugene nodded his head, "I'm well aware of that."
"Say you get into trouble in there." Abraham told them, "You turn around. We're doubling back to the first road we crossed. Maybe you find us before we find the right ride."
"Thanks." Glenn said.
"We'll keep that in mind." Izzy nodded her head in understanding.
Abraham, Rosita and Eugene turned away from them and began walking away. Glenn, Tara, Izzy, Noah and Gwen watched them leave for a moment before turning away from them. They entered the tunnel, with Gwen and Glenn walking in the front of the group of five because of the riot gear they had on themselves.
"Hey." Glenn said to Tara, making her look at him, "I know what you're going through. After this all started, after I realized I'd never see my family, my friends again, I was numb. All day long, just numb. I'm just saying I get it."
"When Brian told us he wanted to take over the prison, I knew it sounded bad." Tara began as they walked through the darkened tunnel, the only source of light being the flashlight Abraham gave Gwen, "When I found my girlfriend, she was dead. My niece. My sister, she was surrounded, pounced on. I saw it happen. But still, it wasn't as bad as seeing what they did to Maggie's father and to this one boy. His name was DJ right?" Glenn, Gwen, Izzy and Noah stopped dead in their tracks and looked at her, "Because that's when I knew. That second the sword- I wanted to scream "no," but it just happened. Brian and Jose said we might have to kill people. I was the second one to jump in after Wyatt. I was just hanging on the "might."."
A while later, Glenn, Tara, Izzy, Noah and Gwen proceeded to walk through the darkened tunnel, searching for their friends and loved ones until they came across something which made them stop. This something being the pile of rubble blocking the tunnel which prevented them from going further into the tunnel. Gwen shined her flashlight at the pile of rubble, noticing a lot of walkers trapped in it.
Izzy crouched down to touch the blood on the ground, "The blood is still fresh. This had to have happened today."
"Lucky bastards." Noah commented as Gwen shined her flashlight at the massive hole in the ceiling, "They probably don't realize how lucky they were when they passed this tunnel yesterday."
"Hold this." Gwen handed her flashlight to Tara. Tara took Gwen's flashlight from her as Gwen slung her AK47 over her shoulder, Glenn doing the same with his M4, "Stay in the behind us, guys. It will be safer for me and Glenn when the walker will free itself from the rubble because of our riot gears."
Gwen and Glenn used their knives to kill all of the walkers trapped in the rubble, making sure it will safe for their group to climb over the pile of rubble. When they were finally done with it, they turned around to look at Izzy, Noah and Tara and nodded, telling them that they can climb over the rubble without having to worry about the walker bitting them without saying any words.
Izzy, Noah and Tara nodded and the group of five began climbing up the rubble shorty. It was just a matter of time before they reached the top but it was when another problem for them appeared because the area of them was filled with the undead. Tara shined Gwen's flashlight at the area in front of them, giving the rest of the group a pretty good look at all of the walkers in the tunnel.
"There's no bodies on the ground." Glenn stated, "This means Maggie and the rest made it through. We have to get rid of them."
Gwen shook her head at Glenn's idea, disagreeing with it, "We don't have enough ammo."
Glenn quickly came up with another idea, "Then we'll push through."
"Easy for you to say, because you have riot gear." Noah stated, "It will be not as easy to me or to Izzy or to Tara."
"We have to find another way." Tara stated, looking down at the walkers in the tunnel.
"We'll figure something out." Izzy stated, trying to come up with a way how to kill or how to avoid the walkers in the tunnel.
"You've got to be kidding me!"
Len's angry scream echoed across the entire building, making everyone from Joe's group look at the bowman. Daryl ignored it, not wanting to deal with whatever problem this asshole was having but quickly changed his mind when he saw Len coming over to Duncan.
The bowman held his hand out to Duncan, angrily, "Give it here."
Duncan looked at him in confusion, "What do you want?"
"Don't make your situation worse than it already is, mohawk." Len glared at him, "Give it back, now."
Daryl got up from the floor, taking the cigar roll out of his mouth. He walked over to Duncan and Len, stopping between them, "You step back."
"My half was in the bag." Len pointed at his spot in the garage as Ezekiel came over to Duncan's side, "Now it's gone. Now ain't nobody around here interested in no half a damn cottontail except you and your buddies. Ain't that right?"
"You're the one to talk!" Duncan glared at Len, tired of his bullshit, "You're only one around here who is still thinking about that crap!"
Len pointed at the bag laying next to Daryl's leg, "Empty your bag."
"I said step back." Daryl repeated himself as Duncan picked up the bag from the floor.
Joe approached them, taking the bag from Duncan, "Did you take his rabbit, Duncan? Just tell me the truth."
"I didn't take nothing." Duncan said, his glare not leaving his face.
"I can vouch for him, eh." Ezekiel said, "I and Daryl were around him all day. He didn't even got close to Len's spot."
"You vouch for him?" Len laughed, shaking his head, "You're probably covering for your buddy because he and Daryl are the only ones around here you're not afraid of."
"What do we have here?" Joe asked, emptying the bag. He shoo the bag one last tme and Len's half of the rabbit fell out, "Well, look at that."
"You put that there, didn't you?" Duncan pointed at Len, "When I, Daryl and Zeke went out for a moment!"
"You lied, mohawk." Len glared at Duncan, coming towards him as Daryl pushed him away from his friend, knowing that Duncan wasn't petty enough to steal a rabbit head, "You lied. You stole. We gonna teach this fool or what, Joe? We gonna show his buddies what we do witht the likes of him around here?"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa." Joe stepped in between Daryl and Len, "Now, Duncan says he didn't take your half of the rabbit and Daryl and Zeke vouched for him. So we got a little conundrum here."
Micah, Lucas, Cyrus, Tony, Billy, Harley and Dan all got up from their spots and gathered around them. Daryl got himself in front of Duncan, standing on his right side, ready to protect him and Ezekiel from Joe's group as Duncan set his gaze on his Colt Model 933, ready to rush towards it and grab it if this situation will escalate into something else. Ezekiel stood on Duncan's left side and put his hand on his holstered pistol, ready to fight all of them, even though, the thought of facing all of them terrified them.
"Either he's lying and Daryl and Zeke vouched for the wrong man, which is an actionable offense, or..." Joe let out a short laugh, his gaze on Len, "Or you didn't plant it on him like some pussy, punk-ass, cheating, coward cop, did you? 'Cause while that wouldn't be specifically breaking the rules, it'd be disappointing."
"It would." Len leaned his head towards Joe, hissing out, "I didn't."
"Good." Joe nodded as he patted Len's shoulder. He turned around to look at Duncan, Daryl and Ezekiel before punching Len across his face. Len cried out in pain as he landed on the floor, "Teach him a lesson, gents. He's a lying sack of shit. I'm sick of it. Teach him all the way."
"Len." Micah grinned at Joe's order, coming over to Len. He delivered a firm kick right at Len's stomach, enjoying it, "You have no idea for how long I was waiting for the opportunity to do this."
Joe turned around to look at Duncan, Daryl and Ezekiel again, "I saw him do it."
"Why didn't you try to stop him?" Ezekiel asked as he put his hand away from his holstered handgun, feeling how pure relief was overcoming his entire body, "This entire situation could have been avoided if you did, eh."
"You have a kind soul, Zeke. This is rarity nowadays. If I was in your place, I would join the boys over there." Joe stated, gesturing to the rest of his group as Len grunted in pain because everyone was kicking him now, beating him, and throwing him across the floor as if he was a sack of flour. Micah smiled like a child in the candy store, enjoying beating Len up as he once again kicked him in the stomach, "He wanted to play that out. I let him. All three of you told the truth. He lied. You understand the rules. He doesn't."
Daryl, Duncan and Ezekiel looked over Joe's shoulder and looked at the rest of his group as they continued to beat Len up. They didn't feel remorseful. Daryl and Duncan felt nothing, because they have already felt something like that before, in fact Duncan was a bit happy to see the man who tried to frame him beaten up, but Ezekiel was a completely different history. This feeling did not scared him like he thought it will and he hated it.
Joe picked up Len's half of the rabbit from the floor and handed it to Duncan, "Looks like you get the head after all, kid."
Glenn, Gwen, Izzy, Noah and Tara came up with an idea how to get through the walkers in the tunnel. He knew it wasn't the best idea they have came up with in their lives but it was the best one they had at this moment. They made sure all of the walkers in the tunnel went to one spot by using the flashlight that Abraham had given them before they went on their separate ways.
Glenn took a quick peek at the area in front of him and saw that all of the walkers from the tunnel went to one spot. He nodded his head to himself. It was time for him and his group to move forward. He looked back at his group and nodded his head at them, telling them that it was safe to move forward without saying anything. They all nodded in return.
He was the first one to climb over the pile of the rubble, and was followed by Gwen, Izzy, Noah and Tara. They were about to make their way through the cleared ou area of the tunnel but unfortunely for them, it was when a new problem appeared. Tara who was the last one from the group to climb over the pile placed her feet on top of the large rock, having no idea it was going to fall down and land her feet.
"Tara." Izzy went to Tara's side, "What is it?"
Tara attempted to free her feet but she couldn't, "I can't."
"What's wrong?" Gwen whispered to Izzy.
"Her feet." Izzy answered, attempting to free Tara's feet from it's prison, "It's stuck. I can't free her."
Tara looked at the walkers at the place where the flashlight's light led them to and noticed that the undead were starting to forget about the light and were starting to walk towards them, "Go."
"What?" Glenn asked, wanting to know if he didn't misheard it.
"Go." Tara repeated herself, "Find Maggie. Find your friends."
"You can't save me, guys." Tara pointed out, "Even if you got this off me, I can't run. And if you help me, they're gonna get both of us." When Gwen and Glenn shook their heads, she shifted her gaze towards Izzy and Noah, "You two tell him and Gwen it's what you need to do. You two don't even like me and rightly so."
"I and Noah didn't trust you back when you were introduced to us. Stuff has changed since then. You have proven yourself for us in the past few days." Izzy replied, "You're one of us now. We ain't leaving you behind for certain death!"
"We're not leaving you." Gwen said as the walkers were getting closer and closer to them.
"Get out of here!" Tara shouted, "Go!"
"Izzy! Noah!" Glenn said to Izzy and Noah, "You two help Tara. I and Gwen will keep the walkers away from you!"
Izzy and Noah nodded, understanding what Glenn wanted them to do. Izzy began pulling on the rock keeping Tara's feet trapped underneath it, with Noah coming over to her to help her as Gwen and Glenn turned away from them. Glenn began shooting the walkers with his pistol as Gwen started getting rid of the undead with her AK47.
It was when a large bright light appeared in the tunnel, shining at the group of five and blinding them which was followed by someone crying out, "Get down!"
They did exactly as they were told. They got themselves to the corner of the tunnel as the unknown people opened fire at the walkers, killing every single in the walker in the tunnel and saving Glenn, Gwen, Noah, Izzy and Tara a lot of problems. When the firing stopped, Glenn turned away from Tara, Noah, Izzy and Gwen and turned his gaze towards the people that saved them, holding his hand in front of him.
He set his gaze on the single person that stepped out from the group. His eyes snapped open in suprise once he recognized who it was. It was Maggie. It was his beloved wife. Maggie jumped right into his arms and embraced him in a long loving hug, crying tears of pure joy before placing her lips against his, giving her husband a long passionate kiss.
"Gwen." Trent's rang through Gwen's ears. She looked at the person approaching her and saw that her ears weren't playing tricks on her. It was Trent. She looked at his smilling face, and she returned his smile, "I'm so glad to see you again."
"Trent." Gwen smiled at the view of him as she hugged him, "The feeling is mutual. I'm glad you made it out alive."
"Me too." Trent said, "I was worried about you. I had no idea what happened to you after we found the bus."
"Girl." Leshawna shook her head as Trent released Gwen from the hug, allowing Leshawna to hug her friend, "You have no idea how good it is to see you."
"Jeez." Noah with a small smile forming on his lips, as he walked over Maggie and Glenn who released each other from the kiss at this point, "Get a room you two. You're not the only people around here, you know."
Maggie smiled at Noah, knowing that it was his way of showing that he was glad to see her, "It's good to see you too Noah." She shifted her gaze towards Izzy who came over to Noah's side, "You too, Izzy."
Harold shared a quick hug with Gwen before pointing at the riot gear she had on herself, "Is this what I think it is?"
"Yes." Gwen nodded her head, "I took it from your cell. It helped me get out of the prison. I can give it back to you if you want to."
"There's not need to right now." Harold shook his head, smilling, "Use it for as long as you want. It kept you and Glenn save. This is more important to me than this riot gear."
Gwen nodded her head at him, "I will still give it back to you, when we will reach Terminus."
The group had settled in the tunnel after deciding to stay there for the night. They cleared out of the bodies of the walkers, placing all the bodies in the corner and secured the tunnel for their group. The group had split up into smaller groups and was doing their own activities. Abraham, Eugene, Sasha, Bob and Gwen were sitting by the fire they had started up in front of the pile of rubble, Glenn was talking with Maggie and Rosita, introducing Tara to his wife, Geoff was talking with Harold, and Alejandro was talking with Trent, Noah and Izzy.
Leshawna let out a nervous sigh as she proceeded to walk towards Harold and Geoff, her conversation with Trent flying through her head. She gave the words he gave her some thought and he was right. She couldn't hide her feelins for Harold inside herself anymore, only because she was afraid of having to go through the same thing that Duncan or Rick or Tyler had to go through after their loved one died.
"Hey, guys." She said, making Harold and Geoff look at her, "Can I borrow Harold for a moment? I want to talk with him in private."
Harold exchanged a look with Geoff before nodding his head at her, "Sure thing, Leshawna. I always have free time for you."
"I'll leave you two alone, then." Geoff said as he turned to walk away from them, intending to go speak with Izzy and Noah about something. This something being Eva's hammer he was carrying ever since he and Alejandro left the prison together, "There's something I need to talk about with Izzy and Noah, anyway."
Harold watched Geoff walk away from him and Leshawna for a second before turning his gaze towards Leshawna, "What is it you wanted to talk with me, my chocolate goddess?"
"This is something I've been thinking about telling you for a while now and finally decided to do after giving it some thought after the conversation I had with Trent." Leshawna began explaining to Harold why she wanted to speak with him. She bit her lip and said to him what she wanted to say to him, "I'm in love with you, Harold. I had them long before all of this started but I preferred to hide them within me and have use remain as friends but then the world has changed and my feelings for you remained. You did many great things for all of us since all of this started. You protected our group since Atlanta and were willing to risk your life for us. You tried to help Tyler back when that poor boy was going through very bad time after Lindsay's death. You taught me how to shoot on Hershel's farm. I don't want to hide those feelings in me anymore. I want to be in a relationship with you because I love you, but of course, if you don't feel the same anymore, then I undestand."
"...My luscious Leshawna." Harold smiled at her after a moment to staying silent. He just had to let his brain process what Leshawna just said to him. He could not remember the last time he was as happy as he was at this very moment, "I never stopped loving you and I hoped to hear those words from you for a long time now. I never tried to do anything about my love towards you because I respected your wish of wanting to stay as friends, but now that you said what you just said to me, then my answer is yes. I still love you and I will be more than happy to be your boyfriend."
Leshawna smiled at Harold and Harold smiled in return. They slowly leaned towards each other and pressed their lips against each other. They closed their eyes and stayed like that for a moment, both of them enjoying their second kiss. They already kissed before back on the island but they weren't a couple back then. The kiss they had at this very moment was something else. It meant something else. It meant the start of their relationship.
They released each other from the kiss after a moment and Harold took Leshawna's hands into his. She looked up at him, her smile not leaving her face. The two of them just stared each other lovingly, smilling widely. Out of the corner of her eye, Leshawna could see Gwen, her best friend smilling happily at her from where she was sitting, simply happy for her.
Geoff smiled at the scene between Harold and Leshawna, happy for both of them as he proceeded to make his way towards Noah and Izzy who were talking with Alejandro and Trent at this moment after exchanging a few words with Tara. Well, mostly with Alejandro, because Trent was too busy watching the scene between Harold and Leshawna. The musican smiled at the scene as well, happy that Leshawna listened to his advice.
"Izzy. Noah." Geoff called out for Izzy and Noah as he approached Izzy, Noah, Trent and Alejandro, "I need to talk with you about something."
Izzy looked at him, "What is it?"
"It's about Eva." Geoff began, bracing himself for the way Izzy and Noah may react to this news. He never got the chance to say what he wanted to say, though, because Izzy cut him off, already knowing what he was planning to say to her and Noah.
"She's dead. We know." Izzy nodded her head in a saddened manner at the mention of her deceased friend. Geoff, Alejandro, and Trent looked at her in concern as she explained how she found out about Eva's fate, "I and Noah made our back to the prison to bury our friends and try to salvage what we could. This is how we came across Gwen, Glenn and Tara. We found her as a walker shorty after we arrived at the prison. We put her down and buried her alongside DJ and Hershel."
"Do you want to know how she died?" Alejandro joined the conversation as he questioned Izzy and Noah, leaning against the wall of the tunnel.
Izzy shifted her gaze towards him, "You know how she died?"
"Yes." Geoff nodded in confirmation, "I and Alejandro were there when it happened."
Izzy exchanged a look with Noah before nodding, the bookworm nodding his head as well, "Yes. I want to know."
"Jose." Alejandro began his explanation, "I fought him and he overpowered me. She came to my rescue and would have most likely kill him but he had a knife hidden in his shoe and pulled it out, cutting her throat open. She bleed out to death shorty after."
"What about Jose?" Izzy wanted to know, anger evident in her voice after learning how Jose killed not only Courtney and DJ but also Eva. Out of the corner of their eyes, Trent, Gwen, Alejandro and Geoff could see Noah clenching his fist angrily, "What happened to him? Is he dead?"
"He is." Geoff nodded, "I and Alejandro made sure of that."
"Good." Izzy said, a spark of joy going through her body at the news that Jose was dead as Noah nodded his head, feeling the same way she did after receiving the news of Jose's demise, "Serves that bastard right."
Alejandro nodded in agreement, "You don't need to tell me twice."
"Is that everything?" Noah wanted to know if Geoff wanted to inform him and Izzy about Eva's death, unaware that they already knew about it or if there was something else he wanted to talk about with them.
"No." Geoff shook his head, "There is something else."
"And that is?" Noah questioned.
"It's her hammer. I took it with me before leaving the prison with Alejandro." Geoff explained as he pulled out Eva's hammer, giving Izzy and Noah a good look at it. He held Eva's hammer out to Izzy and Noah, the former taking it from him a few seconds later, "I thought you may want to have this."
"Thank you." Izzy smiled at Geoff, grateful for giving her and Noah something they use could remember Eva and the time they spent with her. She embraced him in a hug, "Thank you for this. I appreciate it and I'm sure Noah does too."
Geoff smiled and hugged her back, "No problem. I figured out you two along with Ezekiel and Cody would like to have something to remember Eva." His smile turned into the look of confusion when he noticed how Izzy's and Noah's expressions turned into more of a saddened ones, "What? What happened?"
"Cody is dead." Noah went straight to the point, not seeing the point in hiding this from them, a saddened frown on his face as Izzy gazed down on the ground in a saddened manner, "He was gunned down when we were running into the woods."
Geoff's eyes widened in suprise the second he heard about Cody's demise, a saddened look forming on his facial features shorty after as Trent and Alejandro looked to be suprised as much as he was once they heard about another person that lost their life in the Governor's and Jose's attack.
Joe's group was getting ready to leave the garage they were staying in for the past several hours. The clang of the garage doors opening woke Daryl, Duncan and Ezekiel up from their slumber. They all sat straight up on the floor and glanced towards the place where Len was beaten up by Joe's group yesterday, spotting a lot of blood on it.
"Huh?" Duncan's eyes slightly opened when he looked to his side, noticing Len's bow laying next to him, "What is it doing here?"
"It's from me. I claimed it for you." Micah said from the other side of the building, wielding his Striker 12 shotgun, "You can say it's a thank you gift for giving me the opportunity to lay my hands on Len without any consequences."
Duncan looked at Micah in suprise, not excepting this kind of thing for him, especially after what he learned about Micah yesterday. He got up and picked up his new bow from the floor and checked it. He smiled. He was definitely going to enjoy using it from now on. At least he will not have to worry about breaking in the worst possible moment.
"Don't get used to it." Micah said, "You may have my gratefulness but it doesn't mean I like you or your buddies."
Duncan nodded. It's not like he was planning to become friends with Micah, but still having a bow like this was much better than having to use a wooden one, "I'll keep that in mind."
Joe's group exited the building shorty after making sure there won't be leaving anything useful behind, with Daryl, Duncan and Ezekiel being the last ones from the group to walk out of the building. Daryl, Duncan and Ezekiel looked down at the ground when they walked down the stairs and saw Len's heavily beaten up and bloody body laying there with an arrow bolt in his eye, not a single breath living his lungs. He was dead.
They turned away from Len's body and followed the rest of Joe's group, walking away from the building where so much has happened in the past several hours.
Sometime later, they were walking across the field towards the train tracks in front of them. Duncan, Ezekiel and Daryl walked in the back of the group with Joe walking next to them, which was something he was doing a lot ever since they started traveling with his group. He apparently had taken a liking in them for some reason, or at least it was just what Ezekiel thought. He had no idea why Joe wanted to hang out around them as much as he did.
Joe took a sip from his flask and held it out to Daryl, "White Lightning. Easiest thing to make with the least amount of supplies." Daryl took it from him was about to take a sip from it, "I'd start slow if I was you. Your stomach's probably emptier than you think."
Daryl took a sip from Joe's flask before handing the flask back to it's owner. Joe then held his flask out Duncan and Ezekiel. Ezekiel shook his head, declining his offer as Duncan took the flask from Joe and took a sip himself before handing the flask back to him.
"You sure don't want to, Zeke?" Joe asked, holding the flask out to Ezekiel.
"Yes." Ezekiel nodded his head, "I'm good, eh."
Joe nodded his head in return, "Alright."
"I ain't been lit at dawn since before everything fell apart." Daryl said.
"I and Zeke had a drink not that long ago." Duncan said, "We found Jack Daniels in the house we searched through after we got separated from you."
"Jack Daniels?" Joe titled his head towards him at the mention of this drink, "You have some of it left?"
"No." Duncan shook his head, "We drank the entire bottle together or rather what was left of it."
"What a shame. It was a while since I had a quality drink such as Jack Daniels." Joe said as shifted his gaze from Duncan and Daryl, hiding his flask in one of his pockets, "Fell apart. I never looked at it like that. Seems to me like things are finally starting to fall together. At least for guys like us. Living like this, surviving. We've been doing this from the start, right?"
The four of them reached the train tracks where the rest of Joe's group was waiting for them and Harley shifted his gaze from the Terminus sign at Joe, resting his M1 Garand rifle against his shoulder, "We're getting closer."
Daryl looked at the sign with the map to Terminus and pointed at it, "You seen this before?"
"Oh, yeah." Joe nodded, "I'll tell you what it is. It's a lie. Ain't no sanctuary for all. Ain't gonna welcome guys like you or me with open arms."
"So is that where we're headed?" Daryl asked Joe another question, turning his gaze away from the sign.
"So now you're asking?" Joe asked him in return, walking dow the train tracks.
Daryl nodded, "That's right."
"It's better now than never, right?" Duncan added.
"We were in a house minding our own business and this walking piece of fecal matter was hiding in the home." Joe began his explanation, "Strangled our colleague Lou and left him to turn. Lou came at all of us. He lit out. We tracked him to these tracks, one of those signs, and thus we've got a destination in mind."
"This son of a bitch is going to pay for killing Lou." Cyrus said as he adjusted his sunglasses, walking in front of Joe, Daryl, Duncan and Ezekiel, with his Beretta in his hand, "He was my friend. I could always count on him having my back in the worst situations and I won't let the bastard that killed him get away with this."
"You see his face?" Daryl questioned.
"Only Tony." Joe replied, "That's enough for a reckoning."
Tony stopped when something on the edge of the tracks caugh his attention. It was a root with some fruit. It wasn't much food, but it was still something. He was about to grab it but someone stopped him from doing so.
"Claimed." Daryl said as he walked over to the fruit and picked it up from the ground.
He placed the fruit in his, Duncan's and Ezekiel's bag as they proceeded to walk towards the forest in front of them, passing by the wrapper of the candy bar as they did so.
The large group consisting of Glenn, Maggie, Trent, Gwen, Izzy, Noah, Geoff, Alejandro, Bob, Sasha, Leshawna, Harold, Tara, Abraham, Rosita and Eugene has finally arrived at their destination, Terminus. The community they have just arrived at consisted of a factory with multiplie buildings around it. Gwen and Glenn walked by Eugene's sides, the former on the left one and the latter on the right one, looking as if they were his personal bodyguards because of the riot gear they had on themselves.
The group walked over to the gate which was suprisingly opened as if the people of this community weren't worried about walkers or bad people attacking their home. Alejandro held his sawed-off in ready, just in case if something bad was going to happen in this place as he pushed the gate open and entered the area of Terminus, with everyone else following him.
The entire group held their weapons in ready as they proceeded to make their way towards the next gate which was leading to the main square area of Terminus. It took them less than a minute to reach it and when they finally did they were greeted by this message which was written on the piece of paper.
LOWER YOUR WEAPONS
YOU WILL BE MET
YOU HAVE ARRIVED AT TERMINUS
The group lowered their weapons after reading what was written on the sign as Geoff pushed the second gate open. Everyone went through the opened gate and started walking towards the main square area. They saw two people who were residing in this community in front them. An eldery woman in her 50's who was cooking some meat on the grill was talking with a ginger haired young man who was wearing a white shirt.
The young man who looked to be before his 20's, around the age of some of the people in their group, nodded his head at her and turned away from her before walking away from her to do his own duties. Noticing the group of the people that just arrived at her community walking towards her, the woman came over to them to greet them.
"Hi. I'm Mary." She introduced herself to them offering them a friendly welcoming smile, "Looks like you've been on the road for a while."
Maggie nodded her head in confirmation, "We have."
"Let's get you settled and we'll make you a plate." Mary's friendly smile grew wider, "Welcome to Terminus."
Only one more chapter left in season 4! I'll try to get it out as soon as I can! :)
Hope it wasn't that bad. See you in another chapter.
