I don't own Total Drama and The Walking Dead.

Sorry if you find any grammar mistakes. I'm still learning English because it's not my first language.

mcgman651: I gave the description of the clothes TD characters are wearing right now back in 30 in a reponse to one of the reviews. You can check it out if you want to but the list I made back then becomes inactive with this chapter because all characters in this chapter will change clothes. The changes will be listed in an A/N. :)

Darth krayt1: Same here. I could undestand why Rick was being paranoid back when Aaron was introduced to him but I felt like he was going too far with his paranoia the further we went into the episode.

Brendan: I had an idea for an Ed Edd n Eddy and Resident Evil 4 crossover idea where the Eds after fleeing Peach Creek during BPS would find themselves in the village where they would come across Leon but I scrapped the idea which later evolved into an idea for an Ed Edd n Eddy horror story where the Eds find themselves in abandoned town inhabited by the satanic cult. To be honest I'm not sure if I'm going to watch Netflix's Resident Evil because the trailer didn't really interest me. I talked with CMR Rosa through PM's and he said he will make more commisions but just needs time to make them. :)

Dr Changer: I'm glad you liked the chapter and I will do my best! :)

ThEndymam: I'm glad you like the chapter. Some of your predictions regarding the jobs are correct :)

The group slowly approached the closed gate of Alexandria Safe-Zone, all of them wondering what the other side had in store for them. The gate slowly slid open as they approached it and a stranger who opened it froze in his spot upon setting his eyes on them and looked at them like they were ghosts. Injured, grimm, their clothing torn and flithy and their faces dark, they probably looked feral in the shining sun behind them.

It was when the entire group heard something move and crash behind them. They turned around to the source of the voice and saw a possum standing behind a knocked over trashcan. Daryl wasted no time and fired a bolt at the possum, killing it. He walked over to the deceased animal and picked it up by it's tail.

"Brought a dinner." He told the man, holding the possum by it's tail.

The unknown man took a step backwards, looking at them with a disgusted look on his face.

"It's okay." Aaron said as he and Brick carried Eric to the other side of the fence, "Come on in, guys."

The group exchanged glances and slowly walked through the gate, entering the other side of the fence. They turned around to look at the gate which they just walked through as it was slowly closed.

"Before we take this any further, I need you all to turn over your weapons." The unknown man announced as soon as the gate was closed, "Stay, you hand them over."

"We don't know if we want to stay." Rick responded, carrying his daughter in his left arm and his Python in the other one."

"It's fine, Nicholas." Brick looked at Nicholas, "You don't gave to be wary of them. They're not here to cause any harm. Me, Aaron and Eric wouldn't bring them here if they were dangerous."

"If we were gonna use them, we would have started already." Rick pointed out.

"Let them talk to Deanna first." Aaron said.

"Who's Deanna?" Abraham asked as soon as this name left Aaron's mouth.

"She knows everything you'd want to know about this place." Brick explained, "Rick, why don't you start?

Rick looked over his shoulder once he heard snarling behind him and saw a lone walker walking towards the gate, "Sasha." Sasha's response was instant. She turned around to look at the walker. She looked through the scope at it as she aimed her rifle at the undead. She pulled the trigger and the bullet went through the walker's head. The gate was shut completely as Sasha looked at Rick, nodding her head at him, "It's a good thing we're here."

Rick was all by himself in the house where he was supposed to have a talk with this Deanna person mentioned by Aaron and Brick. Deanna was not in the house when he entered it and it allowed him to take a good look around the house. He had to admit one thing to himself as he eyed every corner of this room. It was certainly clean. He couldn't remember the last time when he saw such a clean room.

"Hello." A female voice sounded behind him. He turned around to the source of it and saw an old woman he assumed to be Deanna. She gave him a welcoming smile as she introduced herself to him, "I'm Deanna Monroe."

"Rick Grimes." He introduced himself to her.

"You mind if I film this?" Deanna asked.

"What?" Rick asked, slightly confused by her question.

"Do you mind if I film our talk?" Deanna repeated her question.

"Go ahead." Rick replied as Deanna nodded and started setting up the filming equipment, "Why film this?"

"We're about transparency here." Deanna explained as she turned the camera on, making it film the couch in front of it. She looked at Rick and pointed at the couch in front of the camera, "Please." Rick nodded as he made his way to the couch and sat down on it, making himself present in front of the camera, "How long have you been out there?"

"Since the beginning." Rick responded.

"How did you all find each other?" Deanna wanted to know. "Did you know each other before or...?"

"Some of us did." Rick replied, "But most of us didn't know each other before."

"I was a congressperson. Ohio, 15th district. You?" Deanna asked.

"I don't think it matters anymore." Rick stated.

"Oh, I know it does." Deanna disagreed.

"What is this place?" Rick wanted to know more about this place.

"This is the start of sustainability." Deanna responded, "That's what the brochures we found say. This was a planned community with its own solar grid, cisterns, eco-based sewage filtration. Starting in the low 800,000s..." She chuckled, "... if there is such a thing. And they sold them all."

"How did you end up here?" Rick asked her another question.

"Well, my family and I were trying to get back to Ohio so I could help my district manage the crisis." Deanna began, " And..." She sighed, recalling the memories of her arrival at Alexandria, "... the army stopped us on a back road and directed us here. They were supposed to come later. They didn't. But there were supplies here and we made the best of it."

"You put up the wall?" Rick continued asking her questions.

"Well, there was this huge shopping mall being built nearby." Deanna began her answer, "And my husband Reg is a professor of architecture. And who he was mattered quite a bit. He got the first plates up with our sons. And after a few weeks, more people arrived and we had help. We had a community."

"You've been behind these walls this entire time?" Rick wanted to be sure if he understood her correctly because the thought of people living behind those walls for all this time seemed just surreal to him.

"We need people who have lived out there." Deanna said, "Your group is the first we've even considered taking in ever since we took in Brick and Jo."

"You should keep your gates closed." Rick said.

"Why?" Deanna wanted to know what he meant by that.

"Because it's all about survival now. At any cost." Rick explained, "People out there are always looking for an angle. Looking to play on your weakness. They measure you by what they can take from you. By how they can use you to live. So bringing people into a place like this now..."

"Are you telling me not to bring your people in?" Deanna cut him off, "Are you already looking after this place? Aaron and Brick said I can trust you."

"They don't know me." Rick pointed out, "I've killed people. I don't even know how many by now. But I know why they're all dead. They're dead so my family, all those people out there, can be alive. So I could be alive for them."

"Sounds like I'd want to be part of your family." Deanna stated, "Rick, northern Virginia was effectively evacuated. Millions of people gone. For a long time, there's hardly been anyone here, living or dead, but still... we have lost people. And... I've done things."

"What have you done?" Rick wanted to know what Deanna had on on her conscience.

"I exiled three men who didn't work out." Deanna responded, "And we both know that's as good as killing them."

Rick got up from the couch and turned away from Deanna. He walked over to the window and looked through it at the stree outside, "What do you want from us?"

"These families..." Deanna got up from her seat and walked over to him, "These families should be able to raise their children in a safe environment. Your son, your daughter, should have a place to grow up. What do I want? I want you to help us survive. I know you can help us do that."

"How?" Rick asked.

"I am exceptionally good at reading people." Deanna explained, "If I didn't win reelection, I was gonna be a professional poker player." Rick scoffed and looked away from her, "I'm not kidding." She looked down at her watch for a second, "Rick... it's 3:37 P.M. You're skeptical. You have a right to be. But it's time to decide if you're the one who's doing the deciding."

Rick looked down at his own watch and began to set it to the correct time, "I was a sheriff."

"Yeah." Deanna nodded, "I knew it was something like that."

After being interviewed by Deanna one by one, the group was taken by her to the armory where they were going to leave their weapons at. The door to the garage which must have been the armory was opened and a fat black haired woman with glasses over her nose, a pretty blond haired girl and a fat nerdy looking young man with glasses walked out of the garage. The black hared woman was pushing an empty tray towards the group.

"They're still your guns." Deanna said as Rick's group started to put their weapons on the tray, with many of them seeming reluctant about doing so. When it was her turn to lay down her weapons on the tray, Carol made sure to fake struggling unshouldering her rifle to make herself look like she didn't knew how to use a gun very well, "You can check them out whenever you go beyond the wall. But inside here, we store them for safety."

"Should have brought another bin." The black haired woman stated with a friendly smile, eyeing all of the weapons on the tray.

The blonde girl quickly gasped after a moment, setting her eyes on a certain group of people, "Oh my Gosh! You're the Total Drama crew!"

"...This is weird." Gwen whispered to herself, feeling weirded out by this girl recognizing her and the others.

"Yeah." Trent nodded, "I honestly forgot what it's like having someone recognize you because a reality show you've been in."

"I'm sorry about Dakota." The nerdy looking boy said, introducing the girl to them as Dakota, "She's been a huge fan of your show since I've known her. My name is Sam, by the way. It's nice to see some new faces in our community."

Dakota's excited expression faded away from her face once he saw how small the TD group was in comparison to the group she remembered from the show, "What happened to the others? Are they all gone?"

"Yes." Chef gave her a quick confirmation, not wanting to go further into the subject of the contestants he had failed to protect.

Dakota looked at them with a saddened look on her face, feeling the reality settle in, "Oh..."

Sam glanced to the side, "I'm sorry to hear that."

Rick stared at his reflection in the bathroom as he had just gotten out of the shower. After leaving all of their weapons at the armory, his group was approached by Aaron and Brick and they took him and Carl to the two houses to which their group was assigned. He and Carl entered the house which they choose for themselves and searched every corner of it, eventually finding out that the house had a running warm water.

After taking his very first warm shower in a long time which felt a bit strange for him because he had forgotten how it felt like to have a warm water running down his body. He walked over to the mirror and stared at his own reflection in it, his eyes set on his overgrown beard. He knew what he had to do next. He picked up a pair of scissors from the sink counter and lifted it up to his beard.

He grabbed a strand of his beard and began to cut his beard. A few moments later when most of his beard was gone, he covered the remnants of his beard with the shaving cream and finished everything off with a shaver. He once again looked at his reflection in the mirror, wanting to get a better look at himself after shaving his beard, because if he was honest with himself, he couldn't remember how he looked like without a beard.

He started putting his new clothes on himself right after he finished shaving his beard off. He was about to cover himself with a shirt but stopped himself from doing so when he heard someone knock on a door. He walked out of the bathroom and made his way to the front door to the house, seeing a blond haired woman and an asian black haired woman standing on the other side of it. The blond haired woman was holding a basket filled with various things.

"...Hey." She greeted him with a friendly smile as soon as he opened the door, "We both work in the pantry. Deanna asked us to bring these over for you and your friends."

Rick took the basket from her and looked down at all the things in it, "Thank you. We're just cleaning up."

"I can see that." The blond haired woman nodded her head and pointed at his chin, "You still have some shaving cream on your chin. I'm Jessie." She pointed at young asian woman next to her, "That's Kitty."

"Hi there." Kitty waved at Rick in a friendly manner.

Rick cleaned himself off of the shaving cream by rubbing his chin against his shoulder and looked at her, "Rick."

"You know, I used to be a stylist." Jessie pointed at Rick's slightly overgrown hair, "And 12 other things. I could give you a cut if you want."

"You don't even know me." Rick pointed out.

"I can take care of myself." Jessie replied.

Rick stared at her for a brief moment, debating with himself if he should invite her in or not before nodding his head to show her that he accepted her.

Kitty turned away from Rick and walked down the steps into the sidewalk. She looked over her shoulder with her friendly smile not leaving her face, "I'll try to stop by later with my older sister to say hi."

Jessie turned around to look at her, "Will you be able to convince her to go with you?"

"I don't know." Kitty shrugged her shoulders, "It depends on her mood today. Considering the amount of work Deanna will put her through today because of our new friends, I think it will take some convicing from me. No harm will come in trying right?"

"Right." Jessie nodded as Kitty started walking away from the house. She turned around to look at Rick again and saw the questioning look on his face, "Kitty's older sister Emma tends to be a bit grumpy."

Rick nodded his head in understanding and moved to the side, allowing Jessie to enter the house. A few moments later he sat down on a chair in the kitchen as Jessie wrapped a towel around him, before starting to cut his hair, giving him a new haircut.

"I have two boys, Ron and Darren." Jessie tried to start a conversation with Rick as she proceeded to cut his hair, "Ron's my oldest boy. He's about your son's age. I could introduce them. If that's okay with you and..."

"It's just me." Rick cut her off once she tried bringing up his wife as Jessie stopped cutting his hair and looked down at him, immediately understanding what happened with Rick's wife. Rick nodded his head at her offer a few seconds later, knowing that Carl could use some friends his age, "No, that'd be- that'd be great."

"I'm sorry." Jessie apologized to Rick for bringing up his wife, going back to cutting his hair.

Rick shook his head slightly after a moment of staying silent, "...Electricity, showers, haircuts. I never thought I'd see those again."

"Come on." Jessie said as she put her scissors away because she finished giving him a new haircuit, "Haircuts were never going away. It's okay if you're not okay with this yet." She picked up a small mirror from the table next to them and handed it to Rick, allowing him to take a good look at his new haircuit, "That's better."

Daryl's interview:

Daryl paced back and forth across the room as he proceeded to eye the room he was in right now, still holding the possum he had killed when he and his group were entering Alexandria. Deanna had already asked him to sit down a few times but he refused to do so.

"You're welcome to sit, Daryl." Deanna said as she attempted to get him to sit down one more time, "I won't bite."

"Yeah, I'm all right." Daryl still refused to sit down as he proceeded to pace back and forth across the room.

"Daryl, do you want to be here?" Deanna asked him.

"The boy and the baby, they deserve a roof." Daryl responded, "I guess."

Daryl was sitting on the porch of the house as he took the insides which he took out from the possum after he cut it's stomach open with his knife. The rest of his group was inside the house. The rest of the group was slowly settling down in the house, making sure to check every corner of it.

Heather walked over to the sink in the kitchen and turned it on. She put her hand under the running water and smiled widely at the feeling of warm water touching her skin. It was the feeling she most definitely missed the most ever since all of this started. She definitely was going to take a long shower today as she was a known lover of long warm showers in her group.

"Alejandro." She called out for her boyfriend to get his attention.

Alejandro looked at her, "What is it, mi amor?"

"Just feel this." Heather grabbed his arm and put it under the water.

"Warm water." Alejandro smiled at the feeling, "I never thought I will feel something like this again."

"Me too." Heather smiled back at him.

It was when Rick came into everyone's view with Judith in his arms, allowing his group to see his new appearance.

"I'll be dammed." Chef smiled as Rick stopped next to him and Chris, "You look like a new man, Rick."

"Yeah." Chris nodded in agreement, smilling, "I hardly recognize you."

Geoff gave him a thumbs up, "You look nice, dude."

"Handsome." Bridgette stated with a smile on her face.

Izzy shook her head with a smile on her face, "I forgot how you look like without a beard."

"So did I." Rick replied, "I had to stare at myself in the mirror for a few seconds after I finished shaving. I hardly recognize myself."

"You saw him without a beard?" Tara asked Izzy, "I thought he always had it."

Noah looked at her in unamused manner, "Seriously?"

Tara looked at him with a confused look on her face, "What?"

Rick looked away from his group and looked at Chris and Chef. He nodded his head at them, letting them know about one thing without saying anything to them and Chris and Chef nodded back, knowing what they should do next. They walked out of the house as Daryl looked up at them from his work with the possum the moment he heard them walk out of the house. Carol and Carl joined them on the porch a few seconds later.

Carl had his hands in his pocket as he stared at the house next to them which didn't went unnoticed by Rick, "You can look. Just be quick."

"Okay." Carl nodded, beginning to make his way towards the other house.

After making his son make his way to the other house for a brief moment, Rick looked at Carol and Chris. Immediately realizing what he wanted them to do, Carol and Chris followed Carl into the other house.

"These are like mansions." Carl stated.

Carol hummed in agreement, "Mm-hmm."

"Mansions are larger than that." Chris said, "This is more like a cottage to me."

Carol looked at Chris, "I keep forgetting that you were a celebrity before all of this."

"Sometimes I forget about this myself." Chris admitted with a sigh.

Carol nodded her head at him and turned towards the exit from the house and Chris followed her. Chris opened the exit from the house for himself and his friends as Carol looked over her shoulder Carl who was still looking around the house.

"You coming?" She asked.

"Yeah." Carl nodded, "In a sec."

Carol nodded her head in return and exited the house with Chris. They started making their way back to the first house where the rest of their group currently was, but stopped themselves in the middle of the road to it, because it was when they saw Rick, Chef and Daryl walking together in the area between the two houses. They stopped in their tracks and waited for them to approach them.

"They're right next to each other." Carol said.

"They took our weaapon and now they're splitting us up." Rick stated.

"Yeah." Chef agreed as Chris and Daryl gave silent nods of agreement.

"Yeah." Rick said, "We'll all be staying in the same house tonight."

Chef, Chris, Daryl and Carol nodded in agreement as Carl proceeded to look around the other house. He shifted his attention from the clean new looking furniture to the ceiling when he heard something on the upper of the house. He slowly made his way to the upper floor of the house with his knife in ready just in case if something was waiting for him there.

After reaching the upper floor, he looked the door to the room from which the noise came from. He slowly walked over to it with his knife raised in the air. He used his other hand to open the door and much to his relief saw that there was no one there. He lowered his knife, not having the need to use it as something else in the room managed to catch his attention.

The entire room was in a complete mess. Various things were scattered on the floor. Those things mostly consisted of music cassettes, comic books, mangas or various magazines about various topic a boy his age would be interested in before the world became what it is today. He walked over to the nearest comic book and picked it up from the floor, eyeing the title page.

"Cody would love all this stuff." He thought to himself as he continued to look down at the comic in his hands, remembering how he and Cody bonded back in the prison over their shared interest in comic books.

It was night now. The entire group was staying in the same house for the night just like Rick, Chef, Chris, Carol and Daryl decided earlier that day. The group was slowly getting ready for the bed as they were in the middle of setting up their own sleeping spots in the living room.

"How long was I in there for?" Michonne asked as she came out of the bathroom with a toothbrush in her hand.

"20 minutes." Rick replied.

"You took your time." Gwen smiled as she looked between Heather and Leshawna, "Only Heather and Leshawna were longer in the bathroom than you."

"Can you blame me, sister?" Leshawna asked her with a smile on her face, running her right hand through her left arm, "A long warm shower is certainly what my skin needed after all this time. It has been a long time since it was so smooth." She elbowed Harold with her right hand, "My sugarbaby certainly enjoys

Harold smiled at her, "Of course, my queen."

"It was my first warm shower in a long time and I was not going to let it be a short one." Heather explained herself for staying in the shower for almost forty minutes.

"God." Michonne shook her head at the thought of the first warm shower she had in a long time, "I could not stop brushing."

"Maybe now I can start brushing." Sanders walked past Michonne, making her way to the bathroom.

"It's all yours." Michonne smiled at her and looked at Rick, "Huh. I've never- I've never seen your face like that."

"That's what I felt before and after." Rick rubbed his cheeks as he was about to walk past Michonne.

"Look..." She whispered to him, making him stop next o her, "I get why we're playing it safe. We should. I just- I have a good feeling about this place."

"Well, I hope you're right." Rick told her.

Michonne nodded her head, "Yeah, me, too."

It was when everyone heard a knock on the door. Everyone immediately stopped what they were doing and shifted their attention towards the front door. A few of them grabbed their knives, just in case if something bad was going to happen. Rick opened the door and saw Deanna. Deanna opened her mouth to say something but her words died in her throat once she saw a shaved Rick with a new haircut.

"...Wow." Deanna couldn't more a more perfect words to describe the change went through in the last few hours as Rick glanced to the side awkwardly, "I didn't know what was under there." Rick nodded his head at her, unsure of how he should respond as Deanna walked into the house, "Listen, I don't mean to interrupt. I just wanted to stop by and see how you were all settling." She glanced into the living room and smiled in amazement once she saw the entire group gathered in it, "Oh, my. Staying together. Smart."

"No one said we couldn't." Rick pointed out.

"You said you're a family." Deanna looked at him again with a smile on her face, "That's what you said. Absolutely amazing to me how people with completely different backgrounds and nothing in common can become that. Don't you think?"

"Everybody said you gave them jobs." Rick tried to change the subject of the conversation into something else.

"Mm-hmm." Deanna nodded in confirmation, "Part of this place. Looks like the communists won after all."

Rick looked at her with an amused smile on his face which quickly faded away, "Well, you didn't give me one."

"I have. I just haven't told you yet." Deanna replied, "Same with Michonne, Chef and Sanders. I'm closing in on something for Sasha and Chris. Same thing with Maggie and Noah. I feel like I could use someone like them for in my line of work for as long as Noah will continue to make his remarks. I have already picked a job for Bridgette too as she pretty open with me about her skills. And I'm just trying to figure Mr. Dixon out, but I will." She looked at Rick and gave him one last smile, "You look good."

She walked out of the house and began walking away from it. Rick watched her walk away from the house for a few seconds before closing the door. His group went to sleep shorty after, wanting to be as rested as they could for the next day.

Chris' interview:

"I have to say." Deanna said, having no need of asking what kind of job Chris had before all this as she already knew him from the TV, "It feels kind of weird to be in the same room with a celebrity such as yourself ."

"You don't need to treat me like a celebrity." Chris told her, "Just talk with me like I was a normal person who was not known by the media before all of this."

"I will keep that in mind. I'm quite suprised to hear you say it, though." Deanna admitted, "From what I've heard Chris McLean was someone who really enjoyed his popularity and the attention that he was receiving thanks to it."

"It was before all of this." Chris said, "Right now, after experiencing so many things I never thought I would have to experience, I don't think I would be able to enjoy my fame like I used to. Out there, it doesn't matter who you were before all of this. Out there, you're just a person who has to survive."

Deanna hummed in understanding, remembering hearing a similiar thing from Rick when she interviewed him, "Is there something you could tell me about yourself? About your normal, not celebrity self. What are you good at?"

"I'm really good with a gun." Chris gave her an honest answer. A proud smile formed on his face when he uttered those words.

"Really?" Deanna asked, suprise evident in her voice.

"Yes." Chris nodded, "Chef taught all of us how to fire a gun at the start of all this. I suprised even myself by how well I was doing during our training."

"How good are you with it?" Deanna asked in interest.

"Really good." Chris' proud smile grew wider, "I can say that I became the sharpshooter of our group."

Chef stood on the porch of the house, waiting for Chris to came out of the house. The two of them agreed to go out and explore Alexandria together to get to know their new surroundings a bit more, but before they could go out, they had to change into new clothes. It didn't took Chef long to change into his new clothes, because even though he had chosen a new set of clothes for himself, for now he was going to stick with the police uniform, because of his new job as a police officer.

He titled his head to the side once he heard the frontdoor to the house open. It was when Chris came out of the house and closed the door behind him the moment stepped onto the porch. Chef made sure to eye Chris' new clothes. He wore a light blue shirt and brown pants. If it wasn't for a change of shirt and pants, he would look the same as he did before all of this.

"Would you look at that, pretty boy!" A grin formed on Chef's face the moment he saw his friend's new outfit, "It's nice to finally see you in a new clothes after all this time."

"Why do you sound so suprised?" Chris crossed his arms as he grinned back at Chef, "I may have like my old clothes but I definitely needed to change them into something else after wearing only them for the last year."

"You still kept a bit of your beard, though." Chef pointed out, walking down the porch into the street, "You just cut it a bit to make it look like it was back when we were filming Total Drama."

"Dude." Chris pointed at his beard as he followed Chef into the street, "I'm nothing without it."

"You surely are." Chef grinned as he and Chris begun walking along the street.

"So..." Chris began as he gestured towards Chef's new police uniform, "How does it feel to wear an uniform again?"

Chef looked down at his new work clothes, "Strange to be honest. I never excepted to see myself wear one after I left the army."

"You wore one back in Total Drama, though." Chris pointed out.

"That was something different." Chef pointed out in return, "Back then I was wearing them for the challenges you came up with for those kids. I didn't wore it, because my job required of me to do so."

"Alright." Chris nodded, "I see your point."

"What about you?" Chef asked, "Were you assigned somewhere by Deanna, yet?"

"She's been thinking about putting me on the tower duty with Sasha." Chris replied, "Our job will be to keep as less walkers as possible close the fence with our rifles."

"I see." Chef nodded in understanding, "Looks like you'll be putting your shooting skills to good use."

"No way." An unknown female voice sounded behind them, making them end the conversation they were having, "It really is him!"

Chris and Chef turned around to the source of this voice and saw a group of people they had never seen before walking towards them. All of them were looking at him with the looks of shock and excitement as if they had just won a lottery.

"Excuse me." Chris asked the crowd of the unknown people and gestured towards him, "Are you talking about me?"

"Who else would I be talking to?" The unknown woman replied, excitement was evident in both her voice and her face, "You're Chris McLean!"

"No way." Another person followed, "Chef Hatchet is here too!"

"Holy shit! You're right!"

"This is so cool! I never thought that I would meet not one but two celebrities!"

"...I don't what to say to be honest."

"Me either. The thought of two celebrities living in our community for now on is just..."

"Can I have your autograph? I loved watching your shown back when we could watch TV!"

"Can I have one too! Don't worry! I already brought a pen and a paper!"

Chris glanced to the side at the unwanted attention as Chris smiled at the people who were giving him attention, doing his best to make his smile seem real as the residents of Alexandria who came to see them continued to voice their excitement about getting a chance to meet them. Chris never thought he would admit such a thing to himself, but being in the center of attention with the people who recognized him as a TV celebrity was making him feel a bit awkward.

Perharps being around people who acted like him being a celebrity before all of this still mattered was making him uncomfortable...

Rick sprinted through the streets of Alexandria in panic. He went out to explore the place just like the rest of his group did and felt how panic started growing within him once he saw Jessie walk along the streets with the two boys he assumed to the sons she mentioned to him. He panicked because it was when realized that Carl and Judith vanished from his view.

He stopped in the crossroads and looked around himself frantically in an attempt to spot his children. He snapped his head to the side when he felt someone place a hand on his right shoulder. He saw a young blond haired young woman with a short hair. She wore an orange hoddie which she kept unzipped revealing a white shirt underneath, black tracks pants and army boots.

"What's wrong with you?" The young woman asked him, "You spaced out for a moment."

"Did you saw a boy walk by with a baby?" He asked her in panic, "We were out and they were ahead of me."

"I see." The young man nodded, "You must be one of the people who were brought here last night. Sergeant Leaky told me about it yesterday when he returned home."

"Sergeant Leaky?" Rick asked, having no idea who this person was.

"This is how I call Brick." Jo explained.

"You call him Sergeant Leaky?" Rick asked her another question, not understanding why would Brick allow her to call him like that.

"It's a nickname I gave him after we started traveling together." Jo shrugged as she explained, "He never seemed to complain about it."

"I see." Rick nodded, "You traveled with Brick? This must mean..."

"Yes. I'm Jo." Jo cut him off, "He must have mentioned me when he was trying to convince you to join this place." She turned away from him and started walking away from him, "Come on. I think I saw your children when I was finishing my daily jog."

Rick nodded and followed her. They didn't walk for long. It took them less than a minute to get to their destination. She took him to one of the houses down the street. He saw his son standing on the porch with an eldery couple.

"Those two over there are Bob and Natalie Miller." Jo explained to him who these people were, "They had five kids and 12 grandkids which is one of the first things they said to me and Brick after Brick got me out of our house to explore the place after we first arrived here. Your daughter will become the main attraction in this place for the next few days. It's been a long time since anyone around here has seen a baby."

"I see." Rick nodded, "Thank you I..."

"Don't mention it." Jo once again cut him off, "I know what you're going through right now. I was going through the similiar thing during my first few days in this place. After I and Brick fleed Jericho's community, I could barely trust my own shadow."

Rick once again nodded his head at her, "You've been living here for a while now. Could you give me an honest opinion on this place?

"This place is nice but those people, they've been inside from the start." Jo gave him an honest answer, "They don't get how the world works out there, because they didn't had to survive out there. I tried to toughed them up a bit for the moment when they will have to face the real world, but it was no use. I'm just one person. I won't be able to change how they view the world by myself."

"What about Brick?" Rick asked, "He didn't try to help you?"

"He saw the flaws of this place as much as I did, but unlike me preferred to not do anything which may result in Deanna kicking us out of this place like she did with those three guys I'm sure she told you about." Jo explained.

Rick nodded in understanding, making a mental note out of everything he just learned from Jo, "I see."

Bridgette's interview:

"You are after medical training?" Deanna wanted to be sure if she didn't misheard it.

"Yes." Bridgette nodded in confirmation, "Back when the world was normal I went through some basics."

"I'm glad to hear it. People with medical experience no matter if it's a big one or a small one are very important these days." Deanna was clearly rejoiced by Bridgette having medical background, even if it was just a small one, "I guess you were your group's medic."

"You could say that." Bridgette nodded, "I did everything I could to help them with the little experience

"Did you improved your skills over the course of time?" Deanna wanted to know.

"Yes. I learned how to improve my medical skills from the best people I could ask for." Bridgette replied, her expression shifting into more a saddened one at the thought of Hershel and Dr. Stevens. She didn't thought only about them. She thought about DJ too. DJ who just like her was taught how to become a medic of their group before his life got cut short by Jose, "I just wish they were here with us."

"I'm sorry to hear it." Deanna said with genuine sorry in her voice as Bridgette nodded her head at Deanna in a grateful manner, "With your experience, I think already have a perfect job for you.'"

"Really?" Bridgette asked, "What do you have in mind?"

"The clinic." Deanna said, "I'm sure Pete, our doctor would love to have a new assistant. What do you think?"

"Sure." Bridgette smiled, gladdened by the fact that Alexandria had it's own clinic,"I would love to work in a place like this."

Bridgette, Geoff, Leshawna and Harold left the house together. Bridgette left the house, because of Deanna assigning her to work at the clinic and Geoff went with her, because he wanted to accompany his girlfriend on her way to her new job. Harold and Leshawna having nothing else to do and wanting to take a look around the community to get to know their new home a little more, decided to accompany them.

The group of four reached the clinic a few moments later. Bridgette knocked on the front door to it and waited to someone to open it. The door was opened a few seconds later and the group of four saw a shorter woman with glasses over her nose.

"Can I help you?" The glasses wearing woman asked.

"Hello." Bridgette smiled, "Is this the clinic? I was told to come here by Deanna."

"I see. You must be Bridgette." The glasses wearing woman smiled back as she moved to the side, giving Bridgette, Geoff, Harold and Leshawna enough space to enter the house, "We've been told youll be coming here today. I'm Denise by the way."

"Nice to meet you, dudette." Geoff smiled at Denise, entering the clinic with Bridgette, Leshawna and Harold. When Denise let out a short chuckle, he looked at her with a questioning look on his face, "What is it?"

"Nothing." She replied, "You just reminded me of a friend of mine."

"I see." Geoff nodded in understanding as Denise took them into the main room of the clinic.

"I'll go get Pete." She told them, "You can take a look around if you want to."

Bridgette nodded as Denise disappeared in a back room. The surfer looked around the clinic, wanting to get to know her new workplace a better. The clinic which was clearly once a regular two story house had a few unoccupied hospital beds and various medical supplies. Most of the machines looked like they were turned off, most likely they weren't being used at the moment and papers were laying on the desk in the corner of the clinic.

She titled her head towards the back room once she heard someone enter the main room of the clinic. She saw Denise walking back into the main room with a man she and the rest assumed to be Pete.

"Hi there. You must be Bridgette." Pete extended his hand out for a handshake with a welcoming smile on his face, "My name is Pete. It's a pleasure to meet you. I heard from Deanna that we'll be working together from now on."

"The feeling is mutural." Bridgette grabbed his hand into hers and shook it with a smile, "I hope we'll enjoy working together."

"I hope so too." Pete smiled back, "You have no idea how happy I was when Deanna informed me about our new neighbours having someone with a medical experience among them."

"Well, I was glad when I found out from Deanna about this community having it's own clinic." Bridgette responded, "I'll be glad to be putting my experience to good use around here."

"I'm glad to hear it." Pete nodded in return and looked over her shoulder at Geoff, Leshawna and Harold, "Who are your friends?"

Bridgette said and gestured to Geoff, "This is my boyfriend Geoff."

Geoff offered Pete a friendly wave, "Sup, dude."

"This is Leshawna." The next person Bridgette introduced to Pete was Leshawna.

"Hello, sugar.' Leshawna offered Pete a friendly smile.

In the end Bridgette introduced Harold, "And that's Harold."

"Hi there." Harold smiled at Pete in a friendly manner. He no longer had his beard as shaved it completely last night before his showed. He had to admit one thing. He was quite suprised when he saw himself in the mirror after shaving his beard, because he had forgotten how he looked like without a beard.

"It's nice to meet you all." Pete smiled at them, hearing how someone opened the front door to the clinic, "Always nice to see Deanna bring someone new in. A new group wasn't brought in into our little community since Aaron and Eric brought in Brick and Jo."

"Pete, my man." A male voice called out for Pete a few seconds later which was followed by the sound of at least three people entering the main room of the place. Geoff and Bridgette's eyes widened in shock upon hearing this voice. They heard it somewhere before. A large smile spread over Geoff's wife once he realized to who this voice belonged to, "Just coming here to let ya know that we've moved all the stuff you wanted us to move"

"Dude." Geoff slowly turned around to face the person who just entered the infirmary with his huge smile not leaving his face before Pete could answer to this person's words, "Brody?!"

The young man who was recognized by Geoff as Brody felt how his eyes widened in pure shock once he set his eyes on the party animal. He blinked a few times, wanting to make sure if his eyes weren't playing tricks on him. A large smile grew on his face after making sure that his eyes weren't playing a trick on him and that Geoff was indeed standing in front of him.

"No way!" He exclaimed as he pushed himself into a run towards Geoff and wrapped his arms around him, embracing him in a tight hug, "No freaking way! I can't believe you're here!"

"You and me both, bro!" Geoff couldn't stop smilling as he proceeded to hug the friend he hasn't seen since all of this started like his life depended on it, "You have no idea how glad I am to see you alive and well after all this time."

"Same here." Brody nodded in agreement as he and Geoff released each other from the hug. He looked over Geoff's shoulder and smiled at Bridgette, "Bridgette!" He walked over to the surfer and hugged her, "It's good to see you too, Bridgette!"

Bridgette smiled as she hugged him back, "It's nice to see you too Brody."

"Well..." Pete didn't know what to say, "This is a suprise."

"Yeah. You can say that again, doc." A blond haired man dressed like a fan of rock agreed with Pete as he nudged his friend who seemed to be in some sort of trance in order to get a reaction out of him, "Right?"

"What?" His friend broke himself out his trace a few seconds later. The blond haired man pointed at the scene in front of them, "Rightttt."

"Guys." Leshawna called out for Geoff and Bridgette, "Are you going to introduce us to your friend to us?"

"Right." Geoff looked at Harold and Leshawna and pointed at Brody, "Leshawna. Harold. This is Brody. A good bro of mine."

"Hi." Brody smiled in a friendly manner at Leshawna and Harold, "It's nice to meet Geoff and Bridgette's friends."

"The feeling is mutual, sugar." Leshawna smiled at Brody, gladdened to see her friends reunite with someone they knew from the time when the world was normal.

"Who are your friends?" Bridgette asked as she pointed at the two young man

Brody replied as he pointed at the blond haired man, "That's Rock."

The blond haired man now known as Rock waved in a friendly manner at Brody's friends, "Hi there."

Brody then pointed to the other friend of his, "And that's Spud."

"...Hiiiii, nice to meetcha." Spud said after a moment of staying silent as Geoff, Bridgette, Leshawna and Harold exchanged glances at the delayed reaction from him.

"Spud tends to have a delayed reaction." Brody explained why Spud had a delayed reaction to his introduction.

Bridgette nodded in understanding, "I see."

"Nice to meet you two." Geoff smiled at them, "Friends of Brody are friends of mine."

"Excuse me." Rock approached Harold to get a bette look at him, "Would you happen to be H-Bomb?"

Harold's eyes widened in suprise because it had a been time since he was called H-Bomb. After waking himself up from the suprise he felt after Rock called him like that, he nodded in confirmation, "Yes. That's me."

"No way." Rock smiled widely at the confirmation, "It's great to meet you, man! I loved listening to your bits!"

Harold smiled slightly, "Nice to see someone who enjoyed my music."

"What about Trent?" Rock asked another question, "Is he with you?"

"Yes." Harold nodded in confirmation.

"He and Gwen left our house together a while ago to take a look around Alexandria." Leshawna added.

"Awesome!" Rock cheered, "Could you take me and Spud to him? I would love to get an autograph from him." He looked at Harold, "From you too H-Bomb!"

Harold nodded his head at Rock asking him to give his autograph. If he was honest with himself, the thought of giving an autograph to someone who enjoyed his music made him feel weird a little. It just had been so long since he got a chance to give one to someone and the thought of giving one again after all this time felt completely alien to him.

"Great idea, Rock." Brody agreed with Rock, "When we'll be going to Trent, we could introduce Chet and Lorenzo to them."

Geoff looked at his friend with a questioning look on his friends, "Chet and Lorenzo? Who are they?"

"Two other friends of mine." Brody replied as Geoff nodded in understanding, "They were busy with something else to help us with moving Pete's stuff."

"You can go if you want to." Bridgette said as she looked at Geoff, Harold and Leshawna. She turned away from them and looked at Pete, "I don't think if I'll be able to come with you guys because of my new job."

"Don't worry about it, Bridgette." Pete told her, "You can go out today and get the community know a bit better. You just arrived here after all."

"Thank you, Pete." Bridgette smiled at Pete in a grateful manner and shifted her gaze from him to everyone else in the room, "So, shall we get going?"

Harold's interview:

"Is there any job you would be interested him?" Deanna asked.

"Not really." Harold replied, "I'll be satisfied with whatever you will give me."

"Are you sure about it?" Deanna wanted to know if Harold was sure about his decision.

"Yes." Harold nodded in confirmation, "I'm sure that I will make a good use of my mad skills no matter what job I will be assigned to."

Harold's eyes widened as soon as those words left his wound as he stiffened in his seat. He bit his lip, rubbing his beard.

"Is everything alright?" Deanna asked in concern after seeing Harold behave in such a strange way.

"Don't worry. It's nothing to worry about." Harold assured Deanna that there was nothing wrong with him, "It's just been too long since I got a chance to say those words. It feels weird having them leave my mouth again."

With the permission from Rick, Carl was invited by Jessie's oldest son Ron to hang out with him in his house where Ron. The two of them walked through the hallway on the upper floor as Ron was taking Carl to his room where he was going to introduce him to his friends.

"...We're almost always here after school, so you can come by any time." Ron explained to Carl as they were getting closer to his room.

"You go to school?" Carl sounded suprised by Ron mentioning school.

"It's in a garage." Ron replied, "Little kids go in the morning and then it's us in the you, too, right?"

Carl gave him an unsure nod because it was his first time hearing about it, "Probably."

Ron nodded back at him and entered his room, followed by Carl. The first thing Carl noticed upon entering the room was a girl sitting on the bed with her eyes glued to the comic book in front of her. He looked away from her and eyed the room he was just brought into. He noticed another person in there. A boy who was sitting on the floor with a video game controller in his hand.

"Guys." Ron called out in order to get their attention, "This is Carl." He pointed at the the boy on the floor, "Carl, this is Mikey." He pointed at the girl on the bed, "And Enid."

"Hey." Mikey smiled at Carl as he put his controller down, getting up from the floor.

"Hi." Enid kept her eyes glued to the comic book in front of her, showing no interest in meeting Carl.

Ron put his hand on her shoulder as he explained, "Enid's from outside, too. She just came eight months ago."

Carl nodded, noticing the comic book Enid was reading right now. He reached behind him and pulled out the comic book he found yesterday in the house, "Oh, um... is this yours?"

"Sorry." Ron replied, "We didn't know you guys got that house."

"We mostly just hang out there and listen to music." Mikey explained, "That's Enid's."

Enid reached out towards Carl and took the comic book from him without saying anythong to him. She tossed it on the bed she was sitting on right now and went back to reading the comic book she was reading right now.

"Want to play some video games?" Ron asked Carl what he wanted to do, "Or Mikey's house has a pool tale, but his dad's kind of strict about it."

"It's okay." Mikey replied, "He's at work."

"Um... " Carl didn't know what to say, because it's been a while since he got a chance to do activities people his age would normally do in their free time.

"...Sorry." Ron apologized after Carl remained silent for several seconds, "I guess we come on kind of strong. We can just hang out."

"You don't even have to talk if you don't wanna." Mikey added.

Ron nodded in agreement, "Yeah, took Enid three weeks to say something."

"Pull it together, sport." Enid said, her eyes set on her comic book.

"Let's, um..." Carl tried to think of an answer, "let's play some video games."

Ron nodded in understanding, "Cool, yeah."

Noah had just finished putting his new clothes on himself. He looked down at his new outfit and eyed it. His new outfit consisted of a stylish red shirt and blue jeans. He changed into new clothes because already got sick of his old ones after wearing them ever since all of this started and because he and Izzy were slowly getting ready to go out of the house and explore Alexandria to get to know it a bit better.

"Just look at you." Noah turned towards the source of the voice and saw Izzy who just like him had a new outfit on herself. His orange haired friend smirked at him, "Don't you look handsome in this outfit?"

"Yeah, yeah." Noah rolled his eyes at her comment, "Keep your comments to yourself."

"What?" Izzy smiled, "It is wrong for me to compliment my friends new outfit in how long? Year and a half?" Noah once again rolled his eyes and opened his mouth to reply but his words were cut off by the sound of someone knocking on the front door to the house. Izzy looked in the direction of the front door and pushed herself into a walk towards it, "I'll go get it.'

Noah nodded, "I'll join you in a moment."

Izzy made her way to the front door and opened it, "Yes?"

"Hi there." Kitty smiled friendly at Izzy as she appeared in Izzy's view along with the other young asian woman who seemed to be a bit older than her, "I've been here yesterday with Jessie to bring you a few stuff. We met one man. His name was Rick. I told him that I and my sister will pay you a visit later. Did your friend Rick told you about it?"

"No." Izzy shook her head, "I don't think he said anything about it."

"I see." Kitty nodded in understanding and playfully elbowed her sister, "I wanted to come here to say hi to your group yesterday, but my older sister was a bit too grumpy to go out to say hi to our new neighbours last night."

"How many times do I have to tell you?" Kitty's sister rolled her eyes, "I had a lot of work yesterday because of Aaron, Eric and Brick bringing in a new group. Laying down on the bed was the only thing I wanted after I returned to our house last night."

"I know." Kitty smiled, "I'm just messing with you."

Izzy smiled slightly at the interaction between the two sisters, "What are your names? My name is Izzy."

"My name is Kitty." Kitty introduced herself to Izzy, "This is my older sister Emma."

"It's nice to meet you two." Izzy replied.

"Did we come at the wrong time to say hi to your group?" Kitty asked.

"Yes." Izzy nodded, "Most of our group already went out to explore this place."

"Why didn't you go with them?" Emma wanted to know.

"I wanted to change into new clothes before going out." Izzy explained as Emma nodded in understanding.

"With most of your group already out of your house." Kitty began, "What would you say about me and Emma giving you a little tour around your community?"

"Really?" Izzy seemed suprised by the offer.

"Yeah." Kitty nodded, "This way you could get to know this place a bit better than you would be going alone and thanks to this, we could get to know each other a bit better."

"Thank you. That would be great." Izzy smiled at Kitty, appreciating the offer. She looked over her shoulder and called out for Noah, "Noah! Could you come here? Looks like someone will be giving us a tour around this place!"

"Noah?" Emma asked right after Izzy called out for Noah.

"A close friend of mine." Izzy replied, "We've been planning to go explore this community together before you two knocked on the door."

'I see." Emma nodded in understanding. A weirded out look formed on her face a moment later once she saw something behind Izzy, "Izzy...?"

"Yes?" Izzy replied to Emma calling out for her.

"What's wrong with your friend?" Emma asked as she pointed at Noah, weirded out by his behaviour.

Izzy turned away from Emma and Kitty to look at Noah. What she saw confused her. Noah was wide eyed and blushing. It confused her because she had never seen him act like this before, "I don't know."

"Really?" Emma asked, "Aren't you two friends?"

"Come on, sis." Kitty said, "I'm sure it's just his way of getting used to this place."

"I guess so." Emma replied, "Me and Kitty have been here almost from the start so I can't say how hard it is for you and your people to get used to living normally again."

"Well, with Noah here, I think we should get going." Kitty said.

"Yeah." Emma nodded in agreement, "We should hurry with this little touring trip, because Deanna already planned some work for me later regarding the assignments of the jobs for you and your group."

Kitty sighed, "Do you ever take a rest from your work?"

"Whenever I can." Emma replied.

"Could you two wait for me and Noah on the street for a moment?" Izzy asked, "I'll go check if everything is alright with him."

"Okay." Kitty nodded, "We'll be waiting for you on the street."

"Just don't make this long." Emma added, turning away from Izzy and Noah.

"Alright." Izzy nodded his head at Kitty. Kitty and Emma turned away from Izzy and Noah and walked down the steps into the street. Izzy walked over to Noah and looked at him in concern, "You okay? I've never seen you act like this before."

"I'm fine." Noah replied, breaking himself out of his trance as he realized how he had just acted.

"Are you sure?" Izzy wanted to be sure.

"I said I'm fine." Noah insisted, not wanting to go further into the subject, "Let's just go."

"Yeah." Izzy nodded, but the concern remained on her face, "We shouldn't make them wait."

Carol's interview:

"...I did laundry, gardened, um... always had dinner on the table for Ed when he came home." Carol began her answer as Deanna asked her what kind of role she had in Rick's group, "Um... I miss that stupid, wonderful man every day." She paused for a second, "You know, I really didn't have much to offer this group, so I think I just sort of became their den mother. And they've been nice enough to protect me."

"Where do you think you'll fit in?" Deanna asked.

Carol pretended to struggle with coming up with an answer as she smiled sweetly at Deanna, "Oh, um, hmm. Well, I'd like to be involved in the community. Do you have anything like a Junior League? I'm a real people person."

Daryl was sitting on the porch of the house as he was doing something with his crossbrow. He looked at the front door to the house and saw Duncan and Carol come out of the house. He quickly noticed a change of clothes in them. Duncan now wore a hoddie which is black on the chest with an army pattern on the sleeves and the hood with a black shirt with a large white skull underneath it as Carol now wore a light blue shirt.

"New clothes?" He asked him, noticing his new clothes the moment he set his eyes on him.

"I've been wearing my old clothes for over a year and a half without changing them even once." Duncan answered as he looked down at his new hoodie for a brief moment, "I felt like I needed a small change after all this time."

"You still kept your mohawk, though." Daryl pointed out.

"Nothing is going to force me to give up on it anytime soon." Duncan pointed at his black mohawk in response as Daryl hummed in understanding.

"You could take example from him." Carol said to Daryl as she and Duncan came closer to Daryl, "Have you showered, yet?"

"Mm-hmm." Daryl nodded, going back to his work on his crossbow.

Carol narrowed her eyes at him, "Take a shower. I'm gonna wash that vest. We need to keep up appearances, even you."

All three of them turned around to look at the front door of the house again as they heard someone open it. It was when they saw Sanders walk out of the house. She had a police uniform on herself, because of Deanna giving her a job of a police officer alongside Rick, Chef and Michonne.

"Hey." Sanders greeted them, "Are you heading out?"

"Duncan was about to head out to meet some of your new neighbours." Carol replied as Duncan looked at her. She looked at him out of the corner of her eye and elbowed him, "Right?"

"...Yeah." Duncan replied after Carol elbowed him, "Staying at home all the time won't do me any good."

"I see." Sanders nodded in understanding, "Oh, I was about to head out to meet the neighbours too. Mind if I tag along?"

"If you want to." Duncan shrugged, "What about Dylan? I thought you'll be going with him."

"He went out a while ago." Sanders replied, "Some woman offered to give him a little tour. Holly was her name, I think."

Duncan nodded in understanding, "I see."

"You two go." Carol told them, "I need make the casseroles."

Daryl looked at her in suprise, "What?"

"Make dinner for the older people." Carol began her explanation as she looked at him, "Moms who need a break, people who can't cook. Get to meet a lot of the neighbors that way."

Daryl snorted, "All right."

"I'll be going back into the house." Carol walked past Duncan and Sanders and opened the front door to the house, "You two should get going.

"You look ridiculous!" Daryl called out for Carol as Carol walked into the house and closed the door behind her.

Sanders and Duncan exchanged glances as Daryl focused his whole attention on his crossbow. With nothing else keeping them on the porch, Sanders and Duncan walked down the steps and walked into the street. Duncan put his hands in the pockets of his hoddie, looking ahead of himself as he and Sanders started to make their way along the street.

Sanders looked at Duncan as they proceeded to make their way along the street in silence as she tried to think of a way how to start a conversation with him. The two of them didn't really talk with each other since Atlanta. The last time when they really talked with each other was when he and his friends gave her a talk which later convinced her to leave the hospital with his group.

"So..." She broke the silence between them in an attempt to start a conversation, "What do you think about this place?"

"Looks good enough so far but I'll wait a few days until I'll make my full opinion about it." Duncan replied, "I don't like that they made us give up all of our guns, though. We should be allowed to carry them. No matter how safe the place is because it can change at any second."

"I hear ya." Sanders nodded in agreement, "Walking around without carrying one just feels weird to be after all this time. At least they should have left the pistol for us."

"Yeah." Duncan nodded, "Do you think you and Chef will be allowed to carry one after you will prove yourself to be good at your work to Deanna?"

"No." Sanders shook her head, "Me and Chef might be cops now, but we're not allowed to carry guns as much as you do and I don't think this will change anytime soon."

"I see." Duncan replied as he shook his head, "Dammit." Looks like he'll have to think of another way to get himself a gun to protect himself in this place, "What about you? What do you think of this place?"

"I like it." Sanders smiled in response as Alexandria did a good first impression on her, "I may have not been here for long, but I can say that this is the place I have been looking for ever since I left Atlanta with you and your group."

"Mhm." Duncan hummed in understanding, feeling like Sanders made a judgement about this place a little too quickly.

"Hello." It was when an unfamiliar friendly sounding female voice rang through their ears. Duncan and Sanders titled their heads to the source of this voice and saw a red haired young man. She gave them a warm welcoming smile, "I've never seen you around here. Are you one of the people who were brought here yesterday by Brick, Aaron and Eric?"

Sanders nodded in confirmation, "Yes."

"This is great." The red haired young woman clasped her hands together with a smile on her face, "Me and my friends were just coming out to see if we'll be lucky enough to come across someone from our new neighbours." Sanders and Duncan looked over her shoulder at the mention of her friends and saw two other people, "My name is Zoey." She pointed at the scrawny black haired boy, "This is Cameron."

Cameron offered them a friendly wave, "Hi there."

Then, Zoey pointed towards an obese black haired young man with a cap turned backwards next to Cameron, "And that's B."

B gave them a finger salute, staying silent.

"B doesn't talk much." Zoey explained to Duncan and Sanders why B stayed silent during his introduction.

"It's nice to meet you all." Sanders smiled at them in a friendly manner, "I'm Sanders." She gestured towards Duncan with her head, "My friend over here is Duncan."

"Hey." Duncan offered Zoey and her friends a quick greeting.

"It's nice to meet you too." Cameron smiled at them, "It's been a while since new people were brought into our communtiy." He leaned his head a bit closer to Sanders to get a better look at her uniform, "Will you perharps be working as a police officer from now on?"

"Yes." Sanders nodded in confirmation, "This is the job that I was assigned to by Deanna." She looked at him with a questioning look on her face, "Why are you asking?"

"I just got curious." Cameron explained, "Deanna has been thinking about starting a police force in our community for a while now. Looks like she finally found a good candidate for this job if she went along with this plans."

"A shame this doesn't allow her to carry a gun with her." Duncan stated.

"Would she even need need to use a gun, though?" Cameron asked.

"...What?" Duncan wanted to be sure if he didn't misheard it.

"Would she even need to use a gun if Deanna would allow to carry one with her?" Cameron repeated himself after seeing the reaction his words got out of Duncan, "Our community is safe enough without the need to use guns."

"Wait a second." Duncan wanted to be sure if he understood him correctly, "You don't know how to use a gun?"

"Yes." Cameron nodded in confirmation.

Duncan looked at Zoey and B, "What about you two?"

"I don't know how to use a gun either." Zoey replied as B nodded in agreement, "The three of us never saw much of a reason in learning how to shoot because we

Duncan shook his head. He couldn't believe this. He wished Zoey, Cameron and B were playing a joke on him right now. These people weren't taught how to use a gun? The thought of Cameron, Zoey and B not knowing something which was a common knowledge nowadays was just hard for him to accept. All of the residents of this community should have known how to use a gun for their own safety, no matter if they were going outside the walls of this place or not.

Duncan and Sanders continued their conversation with Zoey, Cameron and B for a bit longer. The subject of their next conversation was different, though because Sanders made sure to change it after hearing the confirmation from Cameron about him and his friends not knowing how to use guns, doing her best to hide how suprised she was by this fact.

It was the next day and the group continued to slowly settle down in Alexandria. Glenn, Tara, Dylan, Alejandro, Gwen and Harold made their way to the armory of Alexandria where they were supposed to meet up with Nicholas, Lorenzo and Deanna's son Aiden. The job the six of them got was to help with the supply runs.

Aiden came out of the armory, followed by Nicholas and Lorenzo and pointed at the group of six which will help him and Nicholas in the supply runs from now on, "Glenn, Tara, Dylan, Alejandro, Gwen and Harold?" When no once corrected him, he smiled at them friendly, "Nice to meet you. I'm Aiden. You met Nicholas pulling gate duty. Our other friend is Lorenzo."

Nicholas nodded his head at them, "Hey."

Lorenzo pointed at Harold, "Nice to see you again."

Harold nodded his head at him, "Likewise."

"Oh." Aiden looked at Lorenzo, "I see you've already met."

"Brody introduced me to him and Chet yesterday." Lorenzo explained.

"I see." Aiden nodded in understanding.

"You're Deanna's son?" Glenn asked.

"That's right." Aiden nodded on confirmation, "I hear you got experience making supply runs."

"You have no idea." Gwen replied, the moment of when Merle kidnapped her, Glenn, Maggie and Noah when they were on the supply run for the baby stuff for Judith flying through her mind as she uttered those words.

"I saw your pantry." Harold said, "You guys seem to do pretty well."

"Yeah, well, had some training before this. ROTC. Was nearing lieutenant when this shit blew in." Aiden explained.

"My dad did ROTC." Dylan said.

"He didn't make it?" Aiden asked, noticing the past sense in Dylan's sentence.

Dylan shook his head, "Nah"

"I'm sorry." Aiden offered him his sympathies, "I'm sorry a lot these days." He pushed himself into a walk and walked past them, "Come on, I'll show you the ropes."

Tara's gaze followed him, "We're doing a run today?"

"Just a dry run." Aiden explained, "Show you the terrain outside the walls, see how you do. Weigh each other's sack a little, you know?"

Tara shook her head, "No, I don't, but cool."

"What about weapons?" Gwen asked.

"Oh, yeah." Aiden replied, "We pulled out some sweet-ass biscuits for today."

He pointed at Nicholas and Nicholas nodded, knowing what to do next. He reached into his bag and pulled out a pistol from it. He slowly began handing out pistols to the rest of the group. After making sure everyone in the group was armed, the group of nine headed out towards the place Aiden was planning to take them to.

It's been a while since the group consisting of Glenn, Alejandro, Gwen, Harold, Tara, Dylan, Aiden, Lorenzo and Nicholas left the walls of Alexandria to go on the supply run which would let the newcomers get to know their new surroundings a bit more. Glenn, Alejandro, Gwen, Harold, Tara and Dylan walked closely behind Aiden, Lorenzo and Nicholas as they took them into a forest near Alexandria.

"...We've been increasing our radius mile by mile, spreading in a semicircle around the town." Aiden explained as he led the group through the forest.

"We've made it 53 miles out so far." Nicholas added.

"We break into two groups when we step outside our vehicle. If shit hits, we fire a flare. One group gets the other." Lorenzo added his own part to Aiden's explanation too.

"Good system." Harold had to admit. The system they had come up with was pretty clever.

"It is." Aiden nodded, "Still, you're standing here because we lost four people last month."

"What happened?" Alejandro wanted to know what happened.

"We were on a run, roamers came out, they didn't follow the system." Aiden replied.

"They were good people." Lorenzo added.

"They were." Aiden nodded in agreement, "They were just scared. Look, I can be a hard-ass. And I know I'm a douchebag. Someone's got to call the ball around here and that someone is me. If you're on this crew, you do exactly as I say."

The group of six exchanged glances, deciding to go along with what Aiden was saying for now.

"...Sorry you lost your people." Tara replied after exchanging glances with her group.

"Yeah." Aiden nodded his head at her, "We got ours."

Nicholas smirked once Aiden uttered those words, "Managed to snag one of the deadheads that took them down." He pointed ahead of them, "Strung it up there."

"Que?" Alejandro wanted to be sure if he didn't misheard it.

"What?" Glenn just like Alejandro wanted to be sure if he didn't misheard it. "Why?"

"Now we have a little pregame ritual." Nicholas replied, "Get our heads on straight."

"Remind us what we're up against." Lorenzo added.

"Do you need reminders?" Gwen asked, seeming unpleasantly by this.

"Yeah." Lorenzo nodded, "We don't go out there everyday, you know? We need to make sure we know how to handle those things everytime when we go out."

Gwen just shook her head, not believing what she was hearing right now. From what she knew, people shouldn't be needing reminders of what they were going against everytime when they were going out because it was something everyone should know about at this point. She opened her mouth to reply, but saw the look Harold and Glenn gave her. She nodded her head at them, deciding to stay silent about it for now.

It was when the group of nine reached their destination. They spotted a chain above the ground with some fresh flesh stuck to it and hanging down from it, but there was not a single walker nearby which immediately allerted Aiden, Nicholas and Lorenzo.

"Son of a bitch!" Aiden quickly made his way to a nearby tree which had a line which was keeping the chain above the ground tied around it, "Help me find it."

Nicholas shook his head at the mess the walker made when it freed itself from the chain, "Look at this shit."

"Blood's still wet." Lorenzo stated, "It's nearby."

Nicholas whistled loudly in an attempt to get the walker to come out into their view.

"Shh!" Alejandro instantly tried to shush Nicholas, "You're going to attract them!"

"What the hell are you doing?" Gwen asked him.

"It's gone." Glenn pointed out.

"It took down one of our friends." Aiden said, "It's nearby, we're not letting it go."

"You must be joking." Gwen glared at him as Nicholas whistled again.

It was when the walker that Aiden, Nicholas and Lorenzo were looking for appeared behind Aiden. Lorenzo clapped his hands to get it away from Aiden, making the walker shift it's attention towards him. The walker moved towards Lorenzo as Gwen, Glenn, Alejandro, Harold, Tara and Dylan prepared themselves to use their weapons just in case if something went wrong. All of them were watching what was happening in front of them in disbelief.

The walker lunged for Lorenzo as Aiden grabbed it from behind by it's arm before it could reach Lorenzo. Aiden clenched his teeth as he struggled to hold the walker in one place as Tara unsheathed her knife, beginning to make her way towards the scene. The walker turned away from Lorenzo, completely forgetting about him and shifted it's attention towards Aiden.

The undead shoved itself at Aiden as Aiden immediately reacted to it. He pushed it away from him towards Tara, taking her by suprise. Tara grabbed the walker by it's back, ripping out some of it's rotten skin as the walker slowly turned around and shoved itself towards her neck. It's rotting teeth were inches away from Tara's neck when Glenn came it to her aid and stabbed the walker in the head, killing it for good.

"What the hell?!" Aiden immediately voiced how displeased he was by them killing the walker.

Tara glared at him, "Yeah, what the hell?"

"You almost got her killed!" Glenn pointed out in anger.

"Do you realize how reckless it was?" Harold asked, clearly displeased by Aiden's reckless actions.

"I told you all to stay back!" Aiden shouted angrily, "I told you to listen to every damn thing I said. I told you that."

"If we listened to your words then she would have died, you moron!" Gwen shouted back at him.

Glenn gave Aiden one last look and turned away from him, beginning to make his way back to Alexandria. His group followed him. Aiden, Nicholas and Lorenzo watched them leave for a second before following them back to their community.

The supply run group just managed to make their way back to Alexandria. Things were pretty tense between them ever since they left the forest as Aiden, Nicholas and Lorenzo were still less than pleased by how the new additions to their community handled the walker situation back in the forest.

"You six need new gigs." Aiden said the moment they stepped through the gate, "You're not ready for runs yet."

"Yeah, pretty sure you got that backwards." Glenn pointed out which angered Aiden more.

"Hey." Aiden increased his speed and grabbed Glenn by his arm, making him look at him, "Look, we got a way of doing things around here..."

"You tied up walkers." Glenn pointed out, cutting him off.

"It killed our friend!" Aiden pointed out in return.

"It doesn't matter! You still tied up a walker in the middle of the forest! You shouldn't be doing that! You should just kill it if it killed your friends to make sure it won't harm more of your friends. You..." Harold's next words died in his throat as he paused in the middle of the sentence when he realized something. He sounded just like Tyler back on Hershel's farm...

"What? Cat got your tongue?" Aiden asked as he looked at Harold. He looked back at Glenn, "Look, I'm not having this conversation. You obey my orders out there."

"Then we're just as screwed as your last run crew." Glenn stated, looking straight into Aiden's eyes as their argument earned the attention of a lot o people from the community.

Gwen crossed her arms and looked at Aiden, "No wonder they died if they had to follow your orders."

Aiden shifted his gaze between Gwen and Glenn, "Say that again."

"Back off, Aiden." Tara said in an attempt to stop them from breaking into a fight but her words fell dead of Aiden's ears.

Aiden lightly shoved Glenn, "Come on, tough guy."

"No one's impressed, man." Glenn said, "Walk away."

"Aiden!" Deanna called out for her son as she walked over to them to see what was going on, "What is going on?"

"This guy's got a problem with the way we do things." Aiden explained as he turned around to look at his mom, "Why did you let these people in?"

"Because we actually know what we're doing out there." Glenn replied.

"And our ways of doing things are not getting anyone killed." Gwen added.

It was when the line was crossed for Aiden. He quickly turned aroind to look at Glenn and Gwen with the intention of punching them for daring to say such a thing. He swung his fist at Glenn who managed to dodge it. Gwen used this to her advantage and punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground. Aiden landed on the ground with a loud thud, rubbing the sore spot on his cheek.

"That's enough!" Deanna shouted in an attempt to stop the fight from escalating.

Her words fell deaf on Nicholas's and Lorenzo's ears, though. The two of them dropped their guns into the ground and pushed themselves into a run towards Glenn and Gwen. They never reached them, though. It was when Daryl and Duncan rushed into the scene with the intention of helping their friends. Daryl tackled Nicholas to the ground and Duncan did the same with Lorenzo.

Rick rushed over to Daryl and Duncan to stop them from doing anything to Nicholas and Lorenzo, "Let's not do this now."

Duncan shifted his gaze from Lorenzo to Rick and nodded his head at him, freeing Lorenzo from his grasp, "Whatever you say."

"I wouldn't do anything if I were you." Alejandro glared at Aiden as Aiden got up from the ground, "You already caused enough problems for everyone today."

Daryl unlike Duncan didn't let go off of Nicholas and continued to pin him against the ground, with his hands pressed against his neck. Hearing and seeing no response from him, Rick pulled him off of Nicholas and took him away from him to make sure Daryl won't do anything to him. Daryl glared at Nicholas as Nicholas and Lorenzo got up from the ground, gasping for breath.

"I want everyone to hear me, okay?" Deanna called out for the attention of the members of her community once the fight was over, "Rick and his people are part of this community now in all ways as equals. Understood?"

Aiden nodded reluctantly, "Understood."

It was night and Rick was making his way towards the exit from the house. On his way to the frontdoor to the house, he took a look into the living room where his group was spent their time together. He looked at Chris, Chef and Carol and nodded his head at them, telling them to follow him without saying anything. He looked away from the living room and walked over to the exit from the house.

He walked out of the house, entering the porch as Carol, Chef and Chris got up from their seats in the living room and followed him. Rick looked around the porch and saw Daryl standing not too far from him. He walked over to him as Chris, Chef and Carol came out of the house.

"We good?" He asked Daryl about the situation from earlier the moment he reached him.

"Yeah." Daryl nodded and pointed at Rick's police uniform, "You a cop again?"

Rick sighed, "I'm trying it on for size."

"Looks like we'll be working together from now on." Chef gestured towards his own police uniform as he approached Rick with Chris and Carol.

Rick looked at him and nodded, "Yeah."

"So we're staying?" Chris asked.

"I think we can start sleeping in our own homes." Rick nodded, "Settle in."

"If we get comfortable here, we let our guard down, this place is gonna make us weak." Carol stated.

"She's right." Chris agreed, "We can't allow ourselves to become weak."

Chef nodded in agreement, "This place might be safe, but the dangers of the outside world are still out there and they won't go away anytime soon. We can't forget about them and have to be ready to face them, no matter what."

"Carl said that." Rick replied, "But it's not gonna happen. We won't get weak. That's not in us anymore. We'll make it work. I talked with Brick's friend Jo yesterday. She might might help us with that as she tried to do it before we came here, but was unable to achieve all by herself. And if they can't make it, then we'll just take this place..."

RIP Rick's beard. You will be missed...

Welp, this chapter took me a bit longer than I excepted. Getting my hands on Persona 5 didn't help either. People on the internet weren't joking when they were talking about how addictive this game is. I honestly wasn't excepting to get myself hooked on this game as much as I did.

Here's the full list of the new outfits of TD characters:

Chris: A light blue shirt, light grey pants and the same shoes as before.

Chef: A green army style jacket with a black shirt underneath it, dark blue pants and the same shoes as before. For now, he will mostly stick to his policeman outfit because of the job Deanna had given him.

Duncan: A hoddie which is black on the chest with an army pattern on the sleeves and the hood with a black shirt with a large white skull underneath it, grey cargo pants and the same shoes as before.

Geoff: A red shirt similiar to his previous one with a white T-shirt underneath it, light blue pants and black running shoes.

Bridgette: A white jacket with a bright blue T-shirt underneath it, blue jeans and white shoes.

Harold: A dark blue jacket with a light grey shirt underneath it, blue jeans and brown boots.

Leshawna: A dark shirt covered in the white doots, brown pants similiar to her previous ones only the ones she wears right now are longer for all the obvious safety reasons and black shoes.

Izzy: Just imagine her wearing the same clothes as Lilly from the game wore in the episode 2 and 3 of the first season.

Noah: A red shirt, blue jeans and the same shoes as before.

Trent: A dark green jacket with a shirt T-shirt with a black hand print underneath it, black pants and the same shoes as before.

Gwen: A black jacket with a with dark blue T-shirt with a large lizard in the center underneath it and the same shoes as before.

Alejandro: A dark blue shirt, a dark grey pants and the same shoes as before.

Heather: Just imagine her wearing the same clothes as Alyx Vance from Half Life 2 wore, minus the gloves.

Sanders: A blue jacket with a purple shirt underneath it, black jeans and the same shoes as before. For now, she will mostly stick to her policeman outfit because of the job Deanna had given her, just like Chef.

Brick: Imagine him wearing the same jacket as Aaron wears whenever he goes beyond the walls of Alexandria. He mostly keeps it unzipped, revealing a white shirt underneath. He wears green army pants and army boots.

Jo: An orange hoddie which she keeps unzipped for most of the time revealing a white shirt underneath, black tracks pants and army boots.

The rest of TD characters who were introduced in this chapter wear the same clothes as they did in Total Drama. I have them wear the same clothes as in the original show because I want it to be a contrast between the characters who had to experience the horrors of the world behind the walls of Alexandria and the characters who lived behind those walls for this entire time.

Hope it wasn't that bad. See you in another chapter.
