I heard a small gasp before my hands were taken by Naruko's as she bounced in place, happy as can be.
"Oh my kami that was amazing Tatsuo, I already feel so much stronger than before! Did you see me? I was doing so amazing, I bet you saw didn't you!"
Her happiness is infectious. I grinned and laughed,
"Oh yeah you were kickass out there Naruko!"

Naruko paused, confused, until she saw how close her face had gotten to Tatsuo's. Laughing, she bounced back after letting go of our hands. Sheepishly, she rubbed the back of her head.
"Sorry 'bout that Tatsuo, didn't realize how close I had gotten."
"Didn't bother me none, you're fine."
Stretching a bit, I clapped my hands and grinned.
"Great job everybody, now let's get back to doing whatever. It's the beginning of the afternoon. You guys can go back to doing whatever, I'm going back to that lake I found the other day."
"Speaking of today,"
God damn it Kakashi
"What in the hell was that just now? Where did we go? What did you do?"
"Mou, Kakashi aren't we all allowed our own secrets?"
"Not when those secrets had led to my team being led into danger. Did you even think for a second on what could have happened? Had this been their first experience killing someone they could have frozen up on the battlefield. That could have costed them their lives, and that's not going to stand. What. Did. You. Do."
"Right, of course. What I did, I'll explain that. Yep. It was, uh, uhhhhh-"

"Ah. Well naruko, Senjutsu is essentially using nature chakra to empower the user and their jutsu."
"Wow that sounds so cool! You have to teach me!"

"Well Naruko, I can't really do that. Nature chakra is incredibly dangerous, and bad shit happens when you can't get the ratio of your own chakra to nature chakra right."
"How bad could it be?"
"You can turn to stone for one, trapped as a statue unable to do anything. Though at that point I guess you would be dead."
That shut her up real quick. Her excited face turned dreadful quickly as her eyes cast downward.
"Ah, don't worry about it Naruko. I can't teach you, but some animal summons have their own style of Senjutsu. The toads for instance, their senjutsu vastly increases the users endurance and strength. If the Jaguar's have a senjutsu teacher, you can learn from them once you become a better and more well known summoner."
"With that out of the way, I'm off to my lake!"
Before anyone could say anything I was already leaving them behind.

Now that I'm by myself at the lake, I can start training. I need to start on leveling up my lighting release and earth release chakra natures, and to start getting jutsu for them. I know that there has to be ways to train up chakra natures, because Naruto did that with his wind release. But how do I go about increasing control over lighting or earth release?
The only other way I can think of doing it is by making an easy Raiton jutsu and spamming the shit out of it like I do with my Bakuton jutsu. But let it be known that Tatsuo Kyodo ain't a quitter! I can just extrapolate from what I already do know.
Naruto had to cut a leaf in half with wind chakra right? What could I do that would accomplish the same affect but with Lightning Chakra?
Hm…
Wait a minute, do I even need to do this step? From what I understood, Naruto did all of this in order to have a better grasp in transforming his chakra into wind chakra, but I already have the Lightning release skill. Wouldn't that mean I can already turn my chakra into Lightning Chakra?
Let's test it I guess, let's gather a bunch of leaves.
With my new giant pile of leaves, along with my new leafless tree friends, I began to work. I held the leaf in between my palms and focused on changing my chakra nature and channeling that chakra into the leaf. Within moments I could feel tiny static shocks dancing on my palms, so I knew it was working, I just had to keep at it.
Deciding to be doubly productive, I got up and made my way towards the lake, maybe doing this exercise while water walking would improve it even more?

The next few days were spent working on my Lightning and Earth release skills along with my water walking, with Jagakushii here with me sprawled out on the ground watching me. And the results speak for themselves.

Other than training I have been spending time with team 7, Tsunami's family, and spending just a bit of time searching for the other two Dungeon's that are on Wave. I don't spend much time on that though, I won't be here much longer anyways.
Stepping off of the lakes surface I make my way back to Tsunami's home, but on the way I happen to spot Naruko chatting with someone in a clearing. As I get closer I notice a familiar person in a pink kimono gathering more herbs for their precious person.
"..and then Sasuke-teme was glaring down up at me and I stared him down, and then my classmate Daichi-baka backed into me on accident. I would have kissed the bastard if Sakura-hadn't gotten in a fight with ino and shoved her into Sasuke, so I ended up kissing her instead. Ino was mortified and I felt really bad about it but I was too busy freaking out that my first kiss had gone to Ino instead of Sakura-chan."
"That's quite the story Naruko-chan."
"That's just third year Haku, I still have like 3 more years of academy stories I can shar- oh Tatsuo when did you get here? Hey hey, let me introduce you two!"
Naruko dragged me by the arm towards a tense Haku.
"Haku meet my friend Tatsuo! He helped wave by getting rid of Gato and his men, and helped my team and I train the other day. Tatsuo meet Haku, they're a person I met when I was playing with Jagaroshi and became friends with. We've been meeting here for the past couple of days now collecting plants and whatever."
Haku and I exchanged a silent message with our eyes, in the end I extended my hand.
"Nice to meet you for the first time Haku, hope you've treated Naruko well."
"Ah, erm, nice to meet you too Tatsuo-san, you two seem close for people who have just met."
"We're besties better than the resties, isn't that right Naruko?"
"Yeah!"
"Mm, say Naruko-chan can you go get those mushrooms on the top of the tree over there? I can't get them and I need them for some medicine."
"You got it Haku!"
Naruko ran off, leaving Haku and I alone in the clearing.
"How's Zabuza, Haku?"
"That's none of your business Tatsuo-san, but let's cut to the chase. You and I know that I didn't send Naruko away for nothing, I have something of an invitation for you from Zabuza-sama."
"Oh? What could the great demon of the mist want with little ol' me?"
"You've proven to be competent enough when you dispatched Gato's men some days ago, we could hear everything. I don't know if you know, but Mist has been locked in Civil War for many years now, and we've been called back by Mei to assist with the final stretch of the war. Her plan requires we finish before this years Chunin Exam so that we can send teams to drive in revenue for post war repairs. An explosive expert like yourself would be a great addition to the war effort."
"Is this a recruitment pitch?"
"In a way, yes. Zabuza-sama wants you to come back with us to the Mist to bring an end to this Civil War once and for all. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be well compensa-"
"I'm in."
"-ted. Ah, that's good, I'll tell Zabuza-sama right away."
"When do we leave?"
"In a few days, thanks to Gato being gone I can leave Zabuza alone longer than I could otherwise to gather healing supplies, and with Naruko and her team thinking that Zabuza-sama is dead they won't search for us, thanks for that by the way."

"Anyways, meet us 3 days time back at Gato's warehouse."
Before I could say anything, Naruko came back and that last tid bit flew by me as we all chatted the afternoon away.

2 days had passed since Haku's recruitment pitch to me, I reckon that I have just one more day before I have to meet them, with that in mind I have spent most of these two days searching for one of the last two dungeons. If I'm going into war then I need to get all the levels that I can get, training can wait for the journey to Mist. Fortunate enough, I found the dungeon entrance earlier this morning. But boy oh boy was it hard to find.
Bottom of the lake hard to find, a lake that's 30 meters deep.
I wasn't even trying to find the entrance either! I just wanted to see how long I could hold my breath underwater for cause Naruko and I were in a contest. And when I went down under I saw something at the bottom of the lake. It ended up being a gold ring, but that ring also led me to the entrance so it was a win win for me.
Naruko wanted the ring, but I just told her I'd give it to her when I'm done with it after I put it on.
Anyways, now that I'm alone at the lake it's time for one last dungeon dive before I take part in a civil war! With that cheery thought I dove into the water and swam towards the bottom where I knew the portal was. As soon as I touched it I was pulled and blasted through a tunnel surrounded by so many different colors and shapes it looked as if I was tripping on shrooms while looking through a kaleidoscope. But before I knew it I was spat out into some sort of huge building, I didn't get to see much as I rocketed from the ceiling and crashed into the ground behind what seemed to be a group of people and in front of a huge door.
Hacking and coughing I rose from the dusty ground and attempted to blow the smoke out of my face, and when my vision cleared I was greeted with people…in weird costumes? Surrounded by a black and purple…mist person with glowing yellow eyes, and some sort of astronaut on the ground. A man dressed in a knights costume stood in front of me with engines coming out of their calves-

Holy shit I'm in the USJ.
I rose to my full height and let out a loud laugh that reverberated through the area. This'll be too easy, these villains are like, nothing at all! I just need to avoid the Nomu and Shiggy and I should be fine!

Annnnd Kurogiri just sent most of the students through his body. Fantastic, now it's going to be a chore.
Now I'm standing in front of a downed 13, Ochako, Shouji, Sato, Sero, and Mina. As well as Kurogiri, but once he sees that I'm on his side I'm sure I'll be fine.

Time to deal with the most threatening student first.
I easily zipped forward past Mina, Sero, and Sato. Before any of them could process what was happening I cocked my fist back and unleashed a full powered Explosion Punch Into Ochako's sternum, exploding her upper body in a shower of gore and bits and pieces of her scattered everywhere around the entrance. Shouji was unfortunately too close to Ochako, and with his multiple ears he couldn't handle the sound as he attempted to cover them. I kicked off the ground and let loose a devastating round house kick against the side of his head that twisted his head so far to the right that his neck snapped. He crumpled to the ground, right next to a bit of Ochako's freshly exploded head.
Sato was on me before I could move and roared in justified grief filled anger, pulled me into a bear hug and attempted to German Supplex me. What a poor decision. As Sato grabbed ahold of me, I placed both of my hands on his hips and used Detonating Palm Strike from both palms, obliterating his lower body.
Unfortunately for me, his upper body was still locking my arms into my sides. Leaving just my legs free, but that's definitely enough to deal with the remaining two heroes, especially when they're locked up in fright. Turning towards them, I started walking over to finish them off. Sero, either by fear or fury, blasted tape at the ground and all around my legs. Trapping my legs together, and to the ground. Grunting in effort, I flexed my legs and strained them against the tape wrapped around them, tearing the tape apart. I ripped my leg off of the ground, but the tape was too adhesive, so along with my foot leaving the ground so did a huge chunk of the floor. Groaning in frustration, I tore my other leg off the ground, floor in tow, and continued my trek towards the two remaining students of first 5 students.
Sero was easy to kill, despite his impressive dexterity and agility this mans has terrible endurance. Once I got into range I jumped forwards with more force than I was used to, with the floor stuck to my feet and all, but it helped me in the long run. The entrance didn't have anything for Sero to latch onto with his tape, so he was a sitting duck. With the combined weight of myself, parts of the floor, and Sato's dead upper body, I pinned Sero down on the ground quite easily. I shifted my knee around until it was on top of his throat and pressed all of my weight into my leg and crushed his throat.
A scream of fury tore through the area as I was blasted by highly corrosive acid. I roared in pain as I was brought to one knee, back turned to use Sato's body as a human shield. Gritting my teeth I dared a peak towards Mina and saw her absolutely livid face as she let lose a stream of acid towards me, her palms smoking as her skin dissolving and breaking down as the acid she produced proved too corrosive to her natural defense towards her own quirk.
"RAHHHHHHHHHH! DIE YOU BASTARD!"
Her stream of acid doubled in size and power, blasting Mina back from the force of her own attack. Her acid completely dissolved Sato's remains, freeing my arms from his death grip, though I felt my back partially dissolve if the liquid I could feel flowing down my leg was any indication. With my arms now free, I quickly dove backwards so my hands pressed against the ground, and sprung towards Mina feet first. Her acid attack met the floor still stuck to my feet and broke it apart and annihilated it, but it gave me enough protection to drop kick her in the head, knocking her onto the ground unconscious from the force of my attack combined with quirk exhaustion.
I let out a gasp as I blearily looked at my HP

"ah, hah, hey, Kurogiri? Do we have a healer that can patch me up?"
"…Yes, back with the main group. Do you wish for me to take you to him?"
"Oh no I was just asking of fucking course I want you to take me to him, do you not see my back fucking bleeding out?!"
"My apologies, I shall take you to him now. Just let my mist envelop you."
"Hold on, gimme a sec. Gotta finish something."
I hobbled over towards 13 and peered down at her, and without mercy I used Devastating Palm Strike on her dying body, finishing her off. Nodding to myself, I stepped forward and entered Kurogiri's body and found myself back at the main plaza next to handyman himself and some random mook who looked scared out of his mind.
"Kurogiri, did you take care of the students like I asked? And why'd you bring back one of the NPC's?"
"I'm sorry Tomura, while I did scatter most of the students throughout the USJ there was one who managed to escape, and I brought this man because he requires the use of Soriko's quirk."
"Gah, Kurogiri I swear to god if you weren't our ticket out of here I would kill you right now. And why should I heal this NPC if he was so heavily injured."
"Maybe because the guy you're calling an NPC just killed 4 students and Pro Hero 13, is that a good enough reason for you?"
Tomura looked at me approvingly, nodded, and grunted.
"Finally, someone who's competent. Alright Soriko, you know the drill."
"P-please Shigaraki, surely we don't need my quirk to heal him? We can find someone else to do it right?"
"You knew the deal Soriko, we help you and you help us. Your end of the bargain has come, heal him or else I'll kill your wife and son."
Soriko released a shaky breath before walking towards me. His trembling palm placed itself on my back before all the pain I endured was suddenly gone. Jumping up, I landed in a squat before noticing the man was lying face down on the ground with my injuries on him.
"You better be worth this DPS, that move just costed us our white mage."
"Don't get your panties in a twist Shig, that man was only good for one heal if what I understand about his quirk is any indication. Now, you can handle Aizawa right? I'm off to bring down some more brats. Kurogiri, could you send me to the ruins zone where you left blondie and red hair? The two who charged at you before."
"Young master, is that acceptable?"
"It's fine Kurogiri, let our DPS run damage control for the party."
"Very well."
I was soon enveloped in mist again and was transported inside the building that Katsuki and Ejiro are in, though I believe I'm on the floor above them if the noises below me were any indication. Looking around me I found a set of stairs leading downstairs.
But where's the fun in that?

"That's the last of them, we should go get everyone else. As men, it's our responsibility to help our classmates out!"
"Tch, you can do that all you like shitty hair. I'm going after that smokey bastard. If we get rid of him then those shitty D rate villains don't have a way out of here."
"How can you say that when our classmates could be in trouble! If we hadn't gotten in 13's way then all of us wouldn't have been scattered!"
"Get a grip will you! If our classmates couldn't handle these trash villains then they wouldn't have gotten into our class in the first place. Besides,"
I whipped my hand out and caught a camouflaged villain and let loose one of my explosions, just enough to knock him out, revealing some gecko looking fucker.
"these guys are trash tier, there's no way that our classmates won't win against losers like these guys."
Shitty hair's exclamations of manliness aside, the bastard that warped us here should be with the leader of the assault. If I was heading an attack of this scale, I would make sure that our only get away would be kept as close as possible to me. Which means they should be in the Central Plaza. A loud explosion happened before I heard shitty hair yell,
"Bakugo look out!"
Years of practice honed my reflexes to an extraordinary degree. So instead of questioning shitty hair I quickly blasted myself to the right just in time for the window behind me to cave in, shards of glass flying everywhere as a dark shape whizzed past me and crashed into shitty hair. Getting up, I bore witness to Shitty hair flying into the wall behind him, concrete breaking around and burying him. Judging by the frame and confidence of this villain, there's a good chance he's a couple of tiers above the trash villains we just fought.
But just like the rest of the losers, he'll ultimately fall beneath me.
Blasting behind me, I was on him in less than a couple of seconds. I lashed out with a right palm, as he lifted his arm to block it I let loose an explosion, the force twisting my body around as I used the momentum I gained to land a devastating kick to the side of his head. The force unleashed caused dust from the broken concrete to bellow out the room, but when the dust cleared the bastard was still standing, the kick apparently having not done anything. Gritting my teeth in annoyance, I braced myself as the guy grabbed my leg and swung me around and slammed me onto the ground. More force than I was expecting, as coughed up spittle and had the wind knocked out of me.
I was let go suddenly as I heard shitty hair charge and body tackle the man, letting go of me in the process as they crashed onto the ground. As I tried to suck air back in my lungs I could hear the sounds of bodies wrestling on the ground. As soon as I could breath I launched myself onto the villains back as I saw him try to choke out shitty hair, grabbing ahold of him I leaned back and pried him off of shitty hair. As soon as shitty hair was out of immediate danger I let loose multiple low powered explosions onto the guys chest, hoping that the force would knock him out.
I wasn't so fortunate.
The villain grabbed me by the wrists and tore me off of him. Wrists still caught in his grip, he slammed me into the wall without letting go before turning around and crashing me into the ground. I tumbled away before I managed to get to my feet only to see something that turned my blood to ice.
Shitty hair was grabbed by the throat, and before I could do anything electricity encased the mans palm. Electrocuting shitty hair, bypassing the defense buff that his quirk gave him. What took seconds but seemed like minutes, the bastard let go of Shitty hair's blackened and smoking body, the body of his classmate flopped on the ground. Gnashing my teeth in fury, I blasted myself to the back of the room and raised my right arm. The man narrowed his eyes and started to charge at me, but he was too late. I pulled the pin from my arm grenade and let loose the largest explosion in my arsenal. The blast was even larger than the one I used against Deku's, blowing up the wall behind the villain, as well as destroying the entirety of the building above me. The top floors exploding outwards and away from my location. When the dust settled the man was nowhere to be seen, but Shitty hair's body still lay in the rubble. I rushed over to him and pressed my fingers to his neck.
There was no pulse.
With care I didn't even know I had, I laid his dead body down as gently as I could and closed his eyes. I blinked away the furious tears that dared gather in my eyes before I settled my angry gaze out in the direction where I saw the bastards body flying in the air, he was about to crash into the Landslide zone. I got up and stood by the edge of the building, and jumped off as I blasted my way after him. That fucker was going to pay, by my hands.

That's what covered my vision as I was sailing through the air out of the building Bakugo blasted me out of. Craning my neck below me I witnessed Todoroki freezing the entire gathering of villains. Before I could think anything of it, however, I found myself rapidly losing altitude. Good news was that I was aiming right for Todoroki, bad news?
He's looking right at me.
Not good for him though, it was too late to react as my body crashed into his, sending us both tumbling on the ground. As I got up I looked around and noticed Todoroki's dazed body slowly trying to pick itself up. I can't let that happen, I remember what happened during the sports festival, I have no intention of seeing if I can break out of a glacier the size of a stadium. I scrambled over to him and wrapped my hands around his throat and used Electrocuting Palm repeatedly until I saw foam come out of his mouth, and even then I kept going until I was confident that he was dead.
One more for good measure.
Panting, I rose back up only to get kicked with tremendous force. My body flew through the air and crashed into a large building that was sticking out of the ground, I rose and exited the collapsing building as Bakugo snarled at me.
"I'm gunna make you pay for killing shitty hair!"
"What? I didn't kill him, you did."
"Don't you fucking lie to me! I know you killed him, his body had no pulse!"
"Bruh all I did was knock him unconscious with my Electrocuting Palm, that big explosion though? The one you caused? That definitely killed him."
That was a lie, I totally killed him. But his fragile state of mind was easy to take advantage of. Plus, I have the benefit of the words of warning All might had said back at the battle trials when he used it against Deku. And judging by Bakugo's state, he has no idea that he's running on basically fumes.
I let Bakugo blast his way to me with a roar of anger escaping his throat, he tried to bring down a haymaker on my head but I just sidestepped and grabbed his arms and slammed him into the ground, and planted my foot onto his chest and applied as much pressure as I could, making him unable to move. He tried to get out by unleashing explosion after explosion on my leg but it was futile. Getting on one knee, I raised my fist and slammed it into his throat.
The last thing Bakugo saw was my smug expression before my explosion splattered his head across the ground.
