I don't own Total Drama and The Walking Dead.
Sorry if you find any grammar mistakes. I'm still learning English because it's not my first language.
ThEndymam: I hope you'll like what I have planned for season 6! :)
Darth krayt1: Just a little foreshadowing from Noah regarding the first half of season 6 :)
michaelgualtieri156: You'll have to wait and see if you're predictions are correct :)
To answer your questions:
1 You got everything right. To this list you can add Sanders was living with Dylan/Noah until his death.
2 Dwight and Morgan will leave just like they did in the show. I don't have have plans to kill them off. The events of FTWD are playing out in this universe, but without the addition of TD characters.
Jesus JD DeJesus: I'm glad you're liking it. Daryl and Duncan hanging out with each other and becoming closer was one of the first things I decided about this story :)
A large group of people from Alexandria consisting of both people from Rick's group and people who were already living in this community before Rick's group joined it was gathered beside a quarry filled with walkers. The quarry exits were blocked by several large trucks, one of which teetered on the edge of a cliff. This large group of people was gathered in this place for one reason. This reason was to their plan to lead a huge herd of walkers away to the place where they won't posses a threat to their community.
"I know this sounds insane, but this is an insane world." Rick declared to the people gathered beside a quarry, standing on the trunk of the truck, "We have to come for them before they come for us. It's that simple. This is where it all starts tomorrow. Tobin and Chet get in the trucks, opens the exit and we're off. They hops out, catches up with Tobin's team at red staying on the west side of the road. Daryl and Duncan get on their bikes..."
"You see that?" Sasha asked, pointing at something behind Rick as some rumbling echoed behind Rick. Everyone looked to where she was pointing at and saw how one of the teetering truck just plummeted to the ground from the edge of the cliff, unleashing the walkers it was keeping trapped from their prison.
"It's open! We got to do this now!" Rick's reaction was instant. He jumped off the trunk of the truck as everyone started to get ready to put the plan into action, "We're doing this now! Tobin's group, get moving, go!"
"No, Rick, we're not ready." A resident of Alexandria named Carter shouted.
Ignoring his comment, Rick turned to look at at the people from his group he had on his mind right now, "Sasha! Abraham! Harold! Sanders!"
"Damn straight, we'll do it live." Abraham replied, rushing over to a car with Sasha, Sanders and Harold.
Abraham, Sasha, Harold and Sanders' job was to help Duncan and Daryl lead the walkers away from the quarry. At first, the group assigned for this job was a bit different. At first, Rick wanted Geoff to go with them instead of Sanders, but Geoff asked him to put him on another job in this entire operation, because of him recently finding out about Bridgette's pregnancy. Rick understood Geoff's reasoning for wanting to be given another job and someone else assigned to his job. Sanders didn't have any complains about going in Geoff's place as she volunteered to go in his place herself.
"You meet Daryl and Duncan at red." Rick told them, "Let them take them through the gauntlet."
"Yeah, we meet at red." Sasha said, before getting herself into the driver's seat.
"Rick." Glenn ran over to Rick with Geoff, Brody and Alejandro as Chet and Tobin got themselves into the trucks, waiting for Rick to give them his signal as Rock cut the chain keeping the two trucks together, leaving a small gap between the vehicles, "We'll hit the tractor place."
"Okay." Rick nodded, "Who else?"
Glenn turned to look at the black skinned man named Heath, "We got to take them out or they'll distract the horde."
"I'm here, let me help." Nicholas said, walking over to them.
Glenn shook his head, "No."
"I'm here!" Nicholas insisted.
"Do everything I say." Glenn told him.
Nicholas nodded, "I will."
"Rick." Carter called out for Rick, trying to gain his attention, "This was supposed to be a dry run."
"Daryl, Duncan get ready." Rick said as he once again ignored Carter's words. Daryl and Duncan's job was to lead the walkers down the road on their motorcycles
"They're coming." Daryl exclaimed, aiming his shotgun at the walker which was coming through the small gap between the trucks. Michonne, Chef, Chris, Jo, Duncan who were standing behind him were holding their weapons in ready too.
"Rick, we haven't even gone through the whole plan." Carter said in another attempt to get Rick's attention.
"You want to go back, go back. We're finishing this." Rick told him as Carter backed away from the trucks, "Tobin, Chet, you hit it on my signal." He held his hand up in the air, waiting for the right moment to give Tobin and Chet his signal, "They're heading for home. We don't have a choice. Get ready to hit the flares. Now!" A few flares were fired into the sky to gain the walker's attention as Rick gave Tobin and Chet the signal they were waiting for, "Tobin! Chet! Hit the truck!"
Tobin and Chet quickly reacted to the signal they were given by him and the two trucks were moved away from each other, largening the gap between them, leaving it big enough to make the walkers able to walk through it. The first few walkers from the herd stepped through the gap, beginning to make their way towards the people in front of them as Daryl fired his crossbow, killing the walker in front of the herd.
The atmosphere at the meeting place was grim. Nobody lingered at the meeting place for long. Most of the people who were present at the meeting had left already the place and went either to their homes or to some other places. Deanna was the only person who remained there, staying close to the pool of blood that belonged to her now deceased husband. She looked up from the pool of blood she was staring at ever since her husband's body was taken away by Chef and Abraham and saw Gabriel walking into the meeting place.
"You were wrong." She told him, referring to what the priest told her about Rick and his group being a danger for Alexandria.
Gabriel nodded his head at her, letting her know that he knew without saying any words to her.
Emma and Kitty walked out of the meeting place together, intending to head back to their house. Emma stopped in her tracks when she saw a familiar person standing not too far from her. She saw Noah. He and Izzy were standing together, seeming to be having a conversation with each other. She sighed, knowing there was one thing she had to tell the bookworm.
"Noah." She called out for him to gain his attention as she walked over to him with Kitty.
Noah titled his head to look at her, "Yes?"
"You were right about everything." She told him with a regretful look on her face, "I just wish I saw the truth before so many people died."
"I see." Noah nodded at her, "I'm glad to see you finally opened your eyes."
"Could you teach me how to use a gun?" Emma asked, "I feel like I'm going to need to know how to use it if I want to stop pretend like the world outside those walls doesn't exist."
"I would like to know how to fire a gun too." Kitty added as Noah and Izzy nodded at them.
Abraham and Chef walked together into Alexandria' cemetery, the former carrying Reg's body which was wrapped in a white sheet. Abraham took the body off his shoulder and placed it on the ground. He pulled out a bottle of liquor a second later after he and Chef noticed how Reg's hand was sticking out of the sheet, giving them a good look at his weeding ring. He unscrewed the bottle and took a sip from it, before holding the bottle out to Chef. Chef stared at the bottle for a few seconds, before taking it from the ginger haired man.
He took a sip from the bottle himself, feeling like he could use a small drink after everything that happened in the last few days before handing it back to Abraham. Abraham took the bottle back from him, his eyes set on Reg's wedding ring and poured some liquor onto Reg's corpse, paying a tribute to the man who built Alexandria's walls. He handed Chef the bottle a second later and Chef did the same.
Sanders let out a sigh as she sat down on the porch of the house close to place where the meeting took place. She looked ahead of herself and stared blankly at the darkness in front of her for a few moments before titling her head to the side when she heard someone approach her from her right side. She saw Duncan.
"Hey." He greeted her the moment she noticed his presence.
"Hey." She greeted him back.
"I heard about Dylan." He said to her as he sat down next to her, "I'm sorry about what happened to him."
"Yeah. Me too." Sanders nodded, before letting out a sigh, "I still can't believe how stupid I was."
"What do you mean by that?" Duncan wanted to know.
"I thought that when I will find a safe place to live, the problems of the world behind the walls will go away." Sanders replied, "But I was wrong. Those problems are never going to go away and thinking they will go away only, because you have a roof over your head is going to get you killed, sooner or later."
"You know, this is one the reasons why I accepted my job with Aaron and Brick." Duncan said, "Forgetting about how the world looks like behind the walls is dangerous. Going outside from time to time is a perfect way of ensuring you won't forget about how dangerous this world is."
Bridgette and Rosita were checking on Tara and Gwen who have regained their consciousness a few moments ago. Right after waking up before Trent, Geoff and Leshawna started a conversation with her, Gwen asked Bridgette about the pregnancy tests she wanted her to bring her and Bridgette told her that Alejandro brought it to her and that the test came out positive. Lorenzo had woken up from his slumber too and was right now having a conversation with Chet who was filling him about everything that happened in Alexandria.
Their conversations were interrupted and everyone's attention was brought to the door to the clinic when it was opened by someone. They saw a bloodied Harold walk into the clinic. He was followed by Glenn and Nicholas, the former helping the latter move. Rosita and Bridgette quickly rushed over to them to check their wounds as Leshawna quickly rushed over to Harold, worry filling her body after seeing the state her sugarbaby was in.
"Sugarbaby." Leshawna asked Harold in worry as Bridgette began checking on him, "What happened to you?"
"We were out there. The walkers came out of nowhere and attacked us." Harold lied, knowing what Leshawna would do to Nicholas if he told her the truth, "Don't worry. We're all right."
"What about you Glenn?" Rosita asked, checking on Glenn.
"Got winged by a ricochet." Glenn replied.
"You guys look like shit." Tara commented as Glenn and Harold looked in her direction, seeing Tara, Gwen and Lorenzo awake from their sleep.
"That's a way of putting it." Gwen added.
Eugene walked into the clinic, his eyes widening upon seeing Tara and Gwen awake. He took a few steps towards them , "Holy shit."
"Thank God... nothing happened to your hair." Tara chuckled as Eugene smiled at her, "Okay, Eugene's freaking me out. Somebody want to send Dylan in here to protect me?"
Everyone's attention was instantly brought to Tara and Gwen after Tara mentioned Dylan, having forgotten they didn't know about Dylan's death. Tara and Gwen looked around themselves after everyone stayed silent and saw the grim saddened looks everyone gave them when Tara mentioned Dylan, realizing what happened to Dylan when they were unconscious.
Rick, Morgan, Daryl and Chris were gathered around the table in Rick's house. Rick and Morgan looked at each other, the two of them wondering how they were going to a start their conversation as Chris brought Daryl a bowl of food, knowing Daryl could use something to eat after his recruit mission with Brick and Jo. The Dixon immediately dug into his meal, offering Chris a nod as he did so as as Chris nodded back at him.
"...You were right." Morgan broke the silence between him and Rick, bringing up the conversation he and Rick had the last time they saw each other, "It wasn't over."
"We should talk more tomorrow." Rick said, still covered by blood as Morgan nodded at him. He took a few steps towards him, "Listen... I don't take chances anymore."
Morgan nodded at him, "And you shouldn't."
Abraham and Chef were still at Alexandria' cemetery, both of them slightly drunk after taking a few more sips from Abraham's bottle. The two of them were playing with Reg's wedding ring right now. Abraham tried to place it on the top of the bottle only for it to fall off a second later. He picked it up from the ground and gave it to Chef. Chef took the ring from him and placed it on the top of the bottle, managing to place it there without it falling off the bottle a second later.
He and Abraham exchanged looks after Chef won in their little game, hearing how someone was about to walk past them. The two of them turned around and saw Sasha. Sasha stopped in her tracks and looked at them as Abraham offered her a peace sign. She hesitantly returned it a few seconds later before walking down the road.
The residents of Alexandria ran down the path of lined up abandoned cars, firing a few flares into the sky to make sure the walkers will walk through the path they had prepared for them in the process as Rick's voice who was reminding them their plan rang out from their walkie-talkie's. All of them eventually split up into smaller group, going their own seperate ways to do the jobs they were assigned to by Rick.
Daryl and Duncan drove into the path of lined up abandoned cars a few seconds later on their motorcycles, leading the large group of the walkers down the road. They drove slowly, making sure to keep their distance from the walkers, but not distance themselves from the undead too much.
The day after the meeting place which resulted in the death of Reg who was afterwards executed by Rick took place. Daryl crouching down next to his motorcycle, doing something to it as Chef was with him, keeping him company and learning about what happened during his recruiting mission with Aaron, Brick and Duncan. Rick walked out of the house a few moments later, beginning to make his way to them.
"So, is he okay with it?" Daryl asked.
"It was pretty much his idea." Rick replied, walking over to them, "He gets it."
"It's got a bed and a bath, but it's still a cage, you know?" Daryl replied.
"He gets it." Rick repeated himself, "He told me what happened out there with the trucks." He looked at Chef, "You want me to fill you in?"
"No." Chef shook his head, "Daryl already told me about everything."
Daryl got himself into a standing position and pointed at his forehead, "He tell you about those guys he met? The Ws."
"Like that walker we saw, yeah." Rick replied, "We need more watch points."
"I'll take care of it." Chef said, "I have have a few people who are good for this job in mind.
"Alright." Rick nodded at him, "And I'm gonna tell Deanna we don't need to go looking for people anymore. You feel different about it?"
Daryl nodded in confirmation, "Yeah, I do."
"There are still good people out there Rick." Chef seemed to have the same mind about this situation as Daryl.
"Well, people out there, they got to take care of themselves, just like us." Rick said, "I'm gonna get him out. Shouldn't leave him in there any longer than we have to."
Rick and Chef exchanged glances before watching how Rick walked away from them.
Abraham, Sasha, Sanders and Harold made their way down the road in their car, driving towards a rendezvous point. They were going to know where this point was upon reaching it as it was marked with red balloons. Sasha was sitting in the drivers' seat, Abraham was sitting on the passangers seat next to her and Harold and Sanders were sitting on the passangers seat behind them.
"You good?" Abraham asked Sasha.
"Yeah." Sasha nodded, keeping her eyes on the road, "I'm trying."
"Listen, if you're still looking to go buck wild with the breath impaired..." Abraham tried to say but was interrupted before he could finish the sentence.
"You already asked the question and I already answered it. If you were so worried, why the hell did you get into the car with me?" Sasha interrupted him, "Listen, doing something as big as this... that's living."
Harold stuck his hand between Abraham and Sasha as a red balloon appeared in his view, pointing at it, "There it is."
"Sanders." Sasha called out for Sanders, stopping the car next to the balloon.
"On it." Sanders nodded, pulling out a walkie-talkie, "We're at red at the bottom of the hill."
"All right, here comes the parade." Daryl replied a second later.
"Be prepared." Duncan added, "There's a lot of them."
Rick walked up the stairs leading to the dront door to the unfinished house where he place after his fight with Pete where Morgan was placed after Aaron, Brick, Daryl and Duncan brought him into Alexandria. He pushed the door open and walked into the house where he saw Morgan who was waving his stick around, practicing some fighting skills with his stick.
"Where'd you learn that?" He asked out of curiosity as Morgan at him.
"A friend." Morgan replied, lowering the stick.
"Before or after?" Rick asked him another question, "I ask, you answer. It's common courtesy, right?"
Morgan chuckled, "It was after. After everything."
"Look, I'm sorry for this, for having to do this." Rick apologized to him.
"It's all right." Morgan assured him that no harm was done, "The way I look at it, sometimes you're safer when there's no way out. Got to get to know each other again. For the first time... again."
Rick smiled at him and Morgan smiled back. As the two old friends continued their conversation, Eugene was standing by the gate on watch duty when he heard a car approach the gate from the other side. He turned around, wanting to see who just arrived at the gate and saw a black skinned man get out of the vehicle and approach the gate.
"We're back." The black skinned man looked at Eugene in confusion when Eugene didn't open the gate, "You gonna let us in or what?"
"I'm technically not authorized, so I will not be doing so." Eugene replied.
"Who the hell are you?" The black skinned man looked at him with a questioning look on his face.
"You first." Eugene said, looking at the car with four people inside standing behind the stranger.
"I'm Heath." Heath introduced himself to him, "I live here. My team's been on a run the last couple weeks."
"I'm Eugene." Eugene introduced himself to Heath in return and explained a few more things to him about him and his group, "Brick and Aaron brought myself and my group here directly within that window, so we haven't had the chance to meet and I can't exactly confirm your residence."
"Open the gate." Heath interrupted him from saying more.
"If I do, how do I know you won't attempt to kill me?" Eugene asked.
"Okay." Heath chuckled, "Look, I'm not gonna kill you. But the longer you make me wait, the more you motivate me to beat your ass, so..."
Eugene nodded at him, seeing this as enough reason to let Heath and his companions from the car in. He unlocked the gate before before he and Heath swung it open. The person behind the wheel of the car drove the vehicle through the now opened gate a second later.
"Thank you." Heath thanked him, "So Deanna put you on gate duty?"
"Oh, no, I'm not proper duty." Eugene shook his head, "This is Holly's shift. I was just walking by. She asked if I could relieve her for a few ticks. I said, "No, thank you" and she ignored me, which is obviously what I should have done as it's been at least five ticks and still no Holly."
"I see." Heath looked at Eugene weirdly, slightly weirded out by his way of speaking as his companions got out of the car to greet Eugene.
"I'm Scott." One of Heath's companions introduced himself as Scott before gesturing towards his friends, "This is Annie, Sky and Beardo."
"Hi. Good to meet you." Annie waved her hand at Eugene in a friendly manner.
"How many of you are there?" Sky asked out of curiosity.
"28." Eugene replied before correcting himself, reminding himself about Dylan's death, "I mean, 27."
"I'm sorry." Sky looked at him with a apologetic look on her face, regretting asking him this question.
"I'll close up." Heath said as he closed the gate before looking back at Eugene, "Anything big happen while we were gone?"
"Well, we had a meeting last night." Eugene replied.
"Oh, yeah?" Heath looked at him with a curious look on his face, "About what?"
"You might want to talk to Deanna. Get it from the horse." Eugene replied as Heather stayed silent, "Her mouth. You know?"
"Right." Heather nodded and turned away from Eugene, beginning to make his way to the Monroe household.
"Hey." Eugene called out for him as Heather stopped in his tracks and looked at him, "It's good to see someone like me. I fully respect the hair game."
Heath just nodded his head at him, unsure how to respond and turned away from him, beginning to make his way to the Monroe household. On his way to his destination he walked past Rick and Morgan who continued their conversation from home in the streets of Alexandria.
"Who put up the wall?" Morgan asked, walking down the street with Rick.
"They did." Rick replied, "There was a man, Reg. He drew up plans, made it happen early on. A lot of people in here. They've been inside from the start. They had food, energy, not a whole lot of walkers. They just lived. They haven't had to survive. They figured that out, brought us in. Still might be too late."
"Too late how?" Morgan wondered what Rick meant by that.
"For them to come around." Rick replied, "We'll see. You'll have to talk to Deanna. She's the woman in charge. She was married to Reg."
"Was?" Morgan immediately noticed the past sense.
"Yeah." Rick nodded in confirmation before walking Alexandria' cemetery where Gabriel and Tobin were digging two holes, "What are you doing?"
"We're..." Gabriel paused for a second, "I wanted to help."
"We only need one." Rick stated.
"We have two men here." Tobin pointed out, pointing at the two covered bodies.
"We're not gonna bury killer inside these walls." Rick stated.
"I understand how you feel. I do." Tobin replied, "But it's not your decision."
"Tobin." Deanna called out for Tobin as she entered the cemetery, earning attention of everyone there., "Rick's right. Take it away." She walked over to the bodies and looked down at Pete's body with a cold expression on her face, "Go west. Down Branton Road a few miles. Just past the bridge" She was unaware Ron was eavesdropping on their conversation from the bushes, "We don't go out that way. Let the trees have him."
Rick and Morgan walked over to Pete's body as Deanna turned away from them and exited the cemetery. The two old friends picked up the body from the ground, with Rick carrying it by it's legs and Morgan carrying it by it's head. They walked out of the cemetery and carried the body to the closest car they could to take to the place Deanna told them about. They opened the trunk to the car and put the body inside.
"I shot him because he killed Reg. That was it." Rick explained to Morgan why he killed Pete last night as Morgan stared at the body they had just placed in the trunk, "We didn't have a choice."
"You do have a cell." Morgan pointed out.
"Not for killers." Rick pointed out in return.
"I'm a killer, Rick." Morgan admitted as he looked away from the body and looked at his old friend, nodding his head at him, "I am, and you are, too."
Rick, Michonne, Chef, Chris and Morgan ran out of the forest into the road as they had just arrived at the rendezvous point which was marked with yellow ballons they were heading towards ever since they left the quarry. They stopped in their tracks at the point as Rick pulled out his walkie-talkie and lifted it up to his mouth, wanting to inform everyone he and his group had just arrived at the rendezvous point.
"Glenn, Geoff, Alejandro you there yet?" He called out for Glenn, Geoff and Alejandro.
"Almost." Glenn replied.
"We'll have it handled before they get here." Alejandro added, "We'll meet you at yellow."
"Copy that." Rick nodded.
The group of five looked ahead of them, wanting to take a better look at their position and saw a wall which the people of Alexandria built from metal plates from the contruction site. Three vehicles were standing on their side of the wall, two regular vehicles and one RV, to be exact.
"It'll hold." Chef said after a moment of staring at the wall after seeing the uncertain look Michonne had on her face.
"Well, that's good." Michonne replied, "You know, considering where we're standing."
"Michonne." Morgan called out for Michonne.
Michonne looked at him, "Yeah?"
"Back when you were in that place... where I lived... did you take one of my protein bars?" Morgan asked as Rick, Chef and Chris slowly turned away from the wall to look at him, suprised by him asking a question like this righ tnow.
"No." Michonne replied a few seconds later,
"See, I could have sworn there was one more peanut butter left." Morgan explained.
Michonne looked away from him, letting out a sigh, "That's how it is, isn't it? You always think there's one more peanut butter left."
"Didn't you took it, though." Chris whispered to her, making sure Morgan won't hear him, "You were eating something from his supplies when we arrived at his house."
"Shut up." Michonne whispered back to him, "He doesn't need to know."
Chris smiled playfully at her, "Alright."
Rick and Morgan had just arrived at the place where Deanna told them to leave Pete's body. They got out of the car after stopping it on the side of the road, Morgan making sure to grab two shovels from the trunk of the vehicle and walked into the forest close to the road. They took a few steps into the forest before stopping, looking for a place where they dig a grave for Pete's body.
"Morgan. Maybe we just leave him here." Rick suggested after looking around himself for several seconds.
"That's not who you are." Morgan shook his head as he turned away from Rick and began walking further into the forest, "I know."
"Hey." Rick followed him as Morgan stopped in his tracks and turned around to look at him. Rick shook his head at him, "You don't."
Morgan stayed silent as he turned away from Rick again. He took off his bag, placing it aside and grabbed one shovel for himself. He dug the shovel into the ground, beginning to dig a grave for Pete. Rick looked away from Morgan after hearing something in the distance. He continued to stare in the direction of this noise for a few more seconds, wanting to be sure if his ears weren't playing a trick on him. They weren't.
"Morgan." He walked over to Morgan and grabbed him by his shoulder, making him stop digging, "Stop." He looked in the direction of the noise, "Did you hear that?"
Morgan looked in the direction Rick was looking at right now, staying silent for a few seconds and nodded his head at him. There was indeed something going on in the distance. Wanting to know what it was, Morgan and Rick walked away from the place where Morgan started to dig Pete's grave and made their way to the source of all this noise. Upon reaching it, they saw a massive quarry filled with dozens if not hundreds of walkers.
They stopped at the edge of the cliff, observing the quarry for a moment before they some snarling and running behind them. They turned away from the quarry towards the source of this noise and saw Ron who was here for some unknown reason to them running away from a couple of walkers, unaware he was getting closer to the edge of the cliff from which he would certainly fall to his death.
Before he could reach the edge of the cliff, Rick came in his aid and shoved himself right towards him. He pushed Ron away from the edge of the cliff when he was inches away from it as the walkers which were following Ron through the forest slowly fell down the cliff, one by one, crashing on the rocky ground, splattering their blood all over the ground.
"What are you doing out here, Ron?" Rick asked, getting himself back on his feet as Morgan walked over to them.
"I wanted to know where my dad was buried." Ron explained as Rick and Morgan turned away from him to look at the quarry again. Morgan pulled out a pair of binoculars and looked through it to get a better look at the quarry. He saw how a group of walkers fell down the short cliff into the quarry, making already large herd of the undead even bigger.
"This is how." Rick stated in realization as Ron walked over to him and Morgan, joining them in their observation of the quarry.
"How what?" Morgan asked, lowering his binoculars.
"How the community's still here." Rick replied, "They've had walkers at their walls, but a lot of them, maybe most of them, they wound up here." He looked over his shoulder and saw Ron walking away from and Morgan, walking back in the forest, "Ron." When Ron ignored him, Rick ran over to him, "Ron."
"I'm going back." Ron replied, "I'm fine."
"You shouldn't be out here." Rick said sternly, getting himself in Ron's face.
"I don't care what you think." Ron replied.
"It's not what I think, it's what I know." Rick pointed out, "You can't protect yourself. I'll show you how, but right now you have no idea what you're doing. And if you come out here, you're gonna die. And it won't be quick and it won't ever be over 'cause you'll be one of them. That's what's gonna happen. You're coming back with us now. Don't make it hard."
Geoff, Duncan, Harold, Leshawna, Brody were gathered in one room in one the houses as Bridgette asked all of them to come here. Bridgette wanted all of them to come here, because there was one thing she wanted to talk about with them. They didn't know what was the thing she wanted to talk about with them as Bridgette she had not told them why she wanted to meet all of them. All of them were certain about one thing, though. It must have been really important because of the tone Bridgette used when she was telling them about this meeting.
"Hi." Everyone shifted their attention to the entrance of the room and saw Bridgette enter the room. She seemed nervous about something, "I'm glad you all came."
Leshawna smiled at her, nodding her head, "No problem, sister."
"Why are you so nervous, Bridge?" Geoff asked in concern, "What did you want to talk about with us?"
Bridgette looked around the faces of her friends, knowing she was doing the right thing by telling them about it. She took a deep breath and told them the information she gathered all of them in this room for, "I'm pregnant."
Their reactions were just like she excepted. She was met with total silence as everyone were completely stunned by her revelation. It seemed like everyone, even Harold, had to take a moment to process this revelation. She lowered her head, setting her eyes ont the floor as she waited for her boyfriend and friends to give her any reaction, hoping they were going to react well to it.
"...W-What?" Geoff stuttered out in shock, wanting to be sure if his ears weren't playing a trick on him.
"I'm pregnant." Bridgette repeated herself as she looked at her boyfriend, "I took a test and it came out positive."
"Bridge." A large grin spread over Geoff's face as he got up from the couch and walked over to her. He kissed Bridgette, before hugging her. Bridgette was slightly taken aback by his reaction, but slowly returned the hug, "You have no idea how happy you made me right now."
"You're not mad?" Bridgette asked, feeling a massive relief go through her body upon seeing Geoff's reaction. She feared Geoff's reaction because she knew how risky it would be for a child to be born in the times like this. She knew how risky it was for her to have a child in the times like this, remembering what happened with Lori back at the prison.
"Why I would be mad?" Geoff smiled at her, releasing her from the hug, "You and I are going to be parents. This is one of the best news I've heard in my entire life! I'm going to be a dad. I just can't believe it!"
Brody smiled as he got up from his couch and walked over to them. He got himself between them and wrapped his arms around him, "Congrats you two! I can't believe it. My best bro and his girlfriend are going to have a child. I'm going to be the best uncle ever!"
"Hot damn, sister!" Leshawna couldn't help but smile widely after allowing her brain to process this information. She walked over to Bridgette, patting her on her shoulder, "You certainly know how to make your fellow sister's day better!"
Bridgette just smiled at Leshawna, gladdened to see her react like this too as she remembered what Leshawna went through during Lori's childbirth at the prison.
"Looks like Judith is going to have a new playmate soon." Duncan smiled, happy for his friends.
"How many people know except for us?" Harold wanted to know, grinning widely.
"Other than you five, Alejandro and Gwen know." Bridgette replied, "I told them because they're the ones who brought me pregnancy test."
"When are you going tell the rest?" Geoff asked, "They should know. I don't want to see you overworking yourself while being pregnant."
"Don't worry. I'm going to tell everyone on the next opportunity I'll get." Bridgette assured her boyfriend.
"You won't have to wait long for it." Harold stated, "Rick and Deanna called an important meeting in Deanna's house."
"Alright." Bridgette nodded, "I'll tell everyone during this meeting."
Glenn, Geoff, Alejandro, Brody, Heath and Nicholas had just arrived a tractor store located on the walker-herding route. Upon arriving at the place, they immediately noticed how much walkers there were in the store. The undead were banging and slamming themselves against the window and it only intensified when they saw Glenn, Geoff, Alejandro, Brody, Heath and Nicholas arrive at the place.
"Glenn. Geoff. Alejandro. You have to hurry. The noise could distract the herd right off the road. Talk to me." Rick's voice sounded in Glenn, Alejandro and Geoff's walkie-talkie's.
"We're here." Glenn reported after grabbing his walkie-talkie.
Alejandro lifted his walkie-talkie up to his mouth, holding his tomahawk in his other hand, "We're about to take care of the walkers."
"Sounds like a lot." Nicholas stated as he stopped in front of the window.
"Because it is a lot, dude." Brody said, looking at the window nervously.
"Stay calm, bro." Geoff told him, holding his machete in ready, "Remember what I showed you."
"We need it quiet." Alejandro stated, walking over to the window.
"So what's the plan?" Heath asked.
"Take 'em out a few at a time." Glenn replied, beginning to walk over to the door to the store as the rest of the group followed him, "Nicholas, you're at the door."
Nicholas nodded in understanding and walked over to the door, beginning to hold it, "All right."
"You let a few of them out and then you close it." Glenn began explaining to Nicholas his part of the plan as Nicholas gave him another nod of understanding, "You keep doing that. That's the trick. That's how we control it."
Heath pointed at Nicholas, voicing his second thoughts about this plan, "Wait, what if he can't close it?"
Brody pointed at Heath in agreement, "Good point."
"I'll be able to." Nicholas tried to assure them.
"Then we take them on." Geoff replied.
"We take them on?" Heath looked at him like he had just grown out a second head.
Alejandro pointed behind himself at the woods behind them, "If we get into trouble, we go behind the building into the woods and we draw them away."
"Hey." Nicholas said to Heath, "You've been out on runs since they got here. Glenn and Alejandro know what they're doing. Lorenzo would be dead if it wasn't for Alejandro. I haven't been on the run with Geoff, but I trust him on this since he's Brody's old friend. Me, Lorenzo and Aiden, we didn't."
Heath gave him an uncertain nod of his head, pulling out his knife, "This was supposed to be a dress rehearsal."
"I'm supposed to be delivering pizzas, man." Glenn shook his head.
"We're supposed to be in a reality show, bro." Geoff pointed at himself and Alejandro.
"Daryl and Duncan are leading them this way and they're closing in." Alejandro said, "That noise is gonna pull the herd right off the road and then we have serious trouble. We have to do this."
"Yeah." This time Heath gave Glenn a more certain nod of his head, "Okay."
Brody let out a deep breath, pulling out his knife, "Let's get this done."
Geoff smiled at his old friend and patted him on his back with his free hand, "That's the Brody I know."
Heath, Brody, Alejandro and Geoff readied themselves to their weapons as Glenn walked over to the door and used a crowbar to pry open the door. Nicholas quickly opened the door, but no walkers came out of the store as the door turned out to be completely blocked, preventing the walkers from leaving the store through it.
"Mierda." Alejandro shook his head.
"What do we do now?" Brody asked.
Geoff sighed, "We'll have to break the window."
A large group people of residents of Alexandria was gathered in the living room of Deanna's house, having gathered there on the meeting during which everyone will discuss the matter of the quarry of walkers which was recently discovered by Rick and Morgan. Rick went to Deanna to tell her about this discovery immediately after he returned to Alexandria with Morgan and Ron and Deanna wasted no time in calling everyone for a meeting about this matter.
"My team..." Heath began to speak to the people gathered in Deanna's house as Annie, Sky, Beardo and Scott were close to him, "We saw it early on, back when we were on one of those first scouts, finding out what was around here. There was a camp at the bottom. The people, they must have blocked the exits with one of those trucks back when everything started to go bad. They didn't make it. They were all roamers. Maybe a dozen of them."
Maggie looked up at him, "No one's been back since?"
Heath shrugged his shoulders at her, "DC, every town worth scavenging are all in the other direction. And I never really felt like having a picnic next to the camp that ate itself."
"So all the while the walkers have been drawn by the sound and they're making more sound and they're drawing more in." Izzy stated, her arms crossed.
Rick nodded in agreement, "And here we are."
"What are we going to do about it?" Zoey asked, the thought of this herd of walkers getting free and reaching Alexandria scaring her. Cameron who was standing next to her looked even more scared than her.
"Rick already has no an idea in his mind." Chris told her, "He told me and Chef about it last night."
"Now what I'm proposing, I know it sounds risky, but walkers are already slipping through the exits." Rick declared after Chris revealed that he had a plan how to handle this matter, "One of the trucks keeping the walkers in could go off the edge any day now. Maybe after one more hard rain. That exit sends them east. All of them. Right at us. This isn't about if it gives, it's when. It's gonna happen. That's why we have to do this soon."
"This is- I don't even have another word for it. This is terrifying." Carol stated, going into the persona of an innocent lady everyone from Alexandria saw her as, "All of it. But it doesn't sound like there's any other way."
"Yeah." Jo nodded in agreement, "This place is screwed if this one truck keeping the walkers in will go off the edge."
"From one problem to another." Brick sighed, standing next to Jo.
"Yeah." Jo agreed with him.
"Maybe there is." Carter spoke up, "I mean, couldn't we just build up the weak spots? I could draw up plans. I worked on the wall with Reg. I could take B and Cameron with him since they worked on the wall with him too. Construction crew- we can try and make it safe."
"Even if we could, the sound of those walkers is drawing more and more every day." Noah cut him off, "Building up the exits won't change that. Better to take care of it now, than let the herd grow larger with every day and deal with a larger group of those things on the day when they will be freed from this place without our knowledge. I don't know about you but I prefer to deal with the herd we have right now than just ignore it and allow it to grow bigger."
"He's right." Emma admitted. "We can't afford to take this risk. Our ignorance of the outside world already costed us so many lives of our neighbours."
"We're gonna do what Rick says, the plan he's laid out." Deanna spoke up for the first time since the meeting started, earning everyone's attention. She looked at Rick and nodded at him, allowing him to continue
"I told you all, we're gonna have Daryl and Duncan leading them away." Rick voiced the first plan of his plan to the people gathered around him.
"Me, too." Sasha volunteered to go with Daryl and Duncan, "I'll take a car, ride next to then. Can't just be them."
"I'll go with her." Abraham volunteered to go with Sasha, "It's a long way to white-knuckle it solo."
"Alright. We're going to need two more people who will join Abraham and Sasha." Rick said before looking at Harold and Geoff, "Harold? Geoff? You're going to come with them."
Harold nodded his head at Rick, "You can count me on Rick."
"Can I ask for a different job in this operation, Rick?" Geoff asked, "I would ask for a job which in this operation which won't make me not distance myself from Alexandria so much."
"Why?" Rick asked.
"Bridge's pregnant." Geoff replied as he placed his hand on Bridgette's stomach. His answer received a lot of suprised stares from everyone who didn't know about this until now.
"I understand. I'll assign you to another team." Rick nodded at him, remaining suprised by this revelation and looked around himself as Geoff looked at him with a grateful loon his face, "Any volunteers to go in his place?"
Sanders raised her hand, "I would like to go in his place if that's okay."
"Alright." Rick nodded at her, "We'll have two teams. One on each side of the forest helping manage this thing. We're gonna have a few people on watch from now on. Rosita, Spencer, Leshawna, Heather and Holly. So they're out. So who's in?"
"Me." Michonne instantly replied.
"Us too." Chris replied as he and Chef raised their hands.
"You should keep an eye on her." Glenn whispered to Maggie once he saw how his wife was considering joining this operation, "You and Noah should keep going with the plans you talked about."
"I know, but this is important." Maggie whispered back.
"She's important." Glenn stated, "People are scared. They need to see her come back."
Maggie titled her head to look at him, "That's not the only reason."
"Yeah, it isn't." Glenn nodded in confirmation.
"Okay." Maggie replied, shifting her gaze back to Rick.
Glenn looked away from his wife to look at Rick, nodding his head at him, "I'm in."
"You should stay here." Noah whispered to Izzy as Izzy was about to raise her hand and volunteer, "We can't allow all of our best fighters to be out there during this operation. You have to stay here and keep this place safe in case if something will go wrong."
Izzy nodded at him, seeing his point and lowered her hand, "Okay."
"You can count on my help." Alejandro raised his hand as Rick nodded at him.
"I wish I could come with you." Heather whispered to him.
"I know, mi amor." Alejandro replied, "You stay here and keep this place safe, alright? If anything will happen, make sure to use the skills you used with Carol when you were saving us from Terminus."
"I will." Heather nodded at him.
"I'd like to help as well." Gabriel volunteered.
"No." Rick shook his head at him, "Who else? We need more."
"There's got to be another play." Carter said, "We can't just control that many."
"Just like Noah said, walkers herd up." Rick replied, "They'll follow a path if something's drawing them. That's how we can get 'em all at once. So, what? We're supposed to just take your word for it? We're all supposed to just fall in line behind you after..."
"After what?" Rick asked after Carter remained silent for a few seconds.
"After you wave a gun around screaming, pointing it at people. After you shoot a man in the face. After you..." Carter was interrupted by Deanna before he could finish the sentence.
"Enough!" Deanna shushed him.
"I'll do it." Heath volunteeted to go as Sky, Beardo, Annie and Scott nodded in agreement.
Francine raised her hand, "Me, too."
"Whatever you need, I'm in." Tobin said.
"Same here." Chet added as Lorenzo sighed, wishing he could go with them but he knew he wouldn't be able to do much out there with one missing hand.
"Now who else?" Deanna asked.
Nicholas debated with himself if he should go or not. He raised his hand after a few seconds, paying no attention to Glenn and Harold who were shaking their heads at him, "I'll go. We have to do this. I need to help."
Chef looked at him, "You sure you can handle it?"
"You need people." Nicholas replied.
Rick nodded at him and looked around himself, "We'll make this work. We'll keep this place safe. Keep our families safe. We will."
"The plan." Carter said, "Go through it again."
"Man, he just said it." Daryl pointed out.
"Every part again." Carter said, ignoring Daryl's words, "The exact plan."
The walkers from the quarry were getting closer from the rendezvous where Rick, Morgan, Chef, Chris and Michonne were located. The group of five heard them walkers walking down the road from the other side of the wall, knowing it was their signal to do their part of the job. All five of them pulled out their flare guns and each of them aimed them upwards.
Each of them fired a flare towards the sky, letting the other groups taking part in this operation know where the herd was located right now. Daryl, Duncan and Sasha turned the corner in their vehicles from the street they've been riding on for the past several moments, beginning to ride down the Marshall road. They stopped their vehicles for a moment and looked behind them at the herd of walkers, wanting to make sure the walkers will follow them before they will drive further down the road.
The walkers walked over to the wall of made of metal plates after hearing how the noise the flares made upon being fired towards the sky, pilling against it as Morgan, Rick, Michonne, Chris and Chef continued to fire flares towards the sky, this time they were doing this to make sure the walkers will continue to march towards the west. After firing another flare, Michonne looked through the gap between the metal plates and saw how a lot of walkers were slamming themselves against the wall, leaving bloody marks on it.
Fortunely for them, the walls were strong enough to endure so many walkers slamming against it at the same time and all of the walkers from the herd continued to march down the road without a single walker separating itself from the group, entering the Marshall road, just like the group planned back in Alexandria. Seeing this, Duncan, Daryl and Sasha quickly began driving their vehicles down the road again, making sure the walkers were going to continue to follow them down the road.
Rick, Chef, Chris, Michonne, Morgan, Deanna, Eugene, Carter and Heath were gathered around the table where Rick put the map on a few moments earlier, explaining the plan he had come up with to the people around him.
"Marshall and Redding." He pointed at the two streets on the map, "We force them west here."
"How?" Deanna asked.
"We block it off so they can only go one way, west, away from the community." Chef replied, having already know how Rick had planned as Rick shared his idea with him and Chris earlier.
"Block it off with what?" Carter asked.
"Cars." Chris replied, "We'll use the RVs, some of the bigger trucks, park them end to end. We'll be drawing them away. They're gonna keep moving."
"Yeah, but that many? Just bouncing off some sedans?" Carter didn't try to hide how much he was against this idea, "And then when they start slipping through and the ones that walk away start distracting the rest and you stop drawing them away?"
Heath sighed, knowing Carter raised some valid points, "Man's got a point."
"We got plates." Eugene spoke up, "The big-ass metal ones from the construction site. We can use them to fortify the whip wall. It'd help disperse the force of impact and direct the walkers clean. Like a pool table. Eight ball, corner pocket."
"That's an army out there." Carter pointed out, "And what happens when this doesn't hold? And they push on through. The curve in this hillside is gonna send them right back east. Right back here. You seriously want to risk that?"
"No. So you need to help us to make it hold." Rick replied, "You will take Cameron and B with you."
"These walls, the three of you built them." Chef said, "So you've already done the impossible."
Glenn, Geoff, Alejandro, Brody, Heath and Nicholas were gathered in front of the window of the store which was giving them a good look at the walkers trapped inside the building. The group of six got themselves ready, ready to put Geoff's plan into action.
"This is a bad idea." Heath stated, his eyes set on the walkers behind the window."
"This is the only idea." Alejandro replied.
Nicholas narrowed his eyes at the window, "I think there's something like a dozen in there."
"We stay back, we get on opposite ends, we draw them to each of us." Geoff explained.
"Try and take down two each?" Nicholas asked.
"No." Glenn shook his head, "This is just me, Alejandro, Geoff and Heath. You and Brody get back and you stay back." He walked over to Nicholas and handed him a walkie-talkie, "Things go south, you tell Rick and you draw them away."
Nicholas looked at him with an uncertain look on his face before turning away and walking away from him, Heath, Alejandro and Geoff. Brody followed him as Glenn, Heath, Geoff and Alejandro looked at the window and pulled out their guns, now completely ready to face the walkers from the store.
Geoff looked at Heath, "You ready?"
"No." Heath replied, "But since you're doing this thing anyway..."
"All right." Geoff nodded as he aimed his pistol at the window of the store, Alejandro, Glenn and Heath following his example.
Glenn pulled the trigger of his pistol and his gun fired, the round breaking the window upon colliding with it. After the window was broken by Glenn's round, the walkers instantly began walking through the now broken window, heading towards the group. Alejandro, Geoff, Glenn and Heath opened fire and began killing every walker that walked through the broken window, one by one.
Glenn, Geoff, Heath and Alejandro continued to fire their pistol at the undead and it wasn't long before had to reload their guns as it turned out there were even more walkers in the store than they excepted. More walkers started coming out of the store through the broken window as Glenn, Geoff, Heath and Alejandro did their best to reload their pistol as quickly as they could.
Unfortunely, Heath was too late to reload his pistol and one walked lunged for him. The black skinned man stopped the walker from bitting into his shoulder with his hand. He wasn't the only one who was forced to keep the walker off of himself as Alejandro suffered the same fate. The spanish young man clenched his teeth, doing his best to stop the walker from bitting into his face.
Fortunely for them, Glenn and Geoff managed to reload their pistols in time and the two of them quickly began taking out every walker that came out of the store. Seeing the trouble Heath and Alejandro were in, Brody and Nicholas rushed over to help them instead of staying in the back like they were told by their group. Nicholas stabbed the walker which was trying to get to Heath in the head, killing it as Brody stabbed the walker which was trying to get to Alejandro, getting rid of it.
"Good job, bro." Geoff proudly patted Brody on the shoulder after killing the remaining walkers from the store with Glenn. Brody smiled back at him.
Glenn looked at Nicholas and nodded at him in approval before holstering his pistol, "Let's go."
The group of six turned away from the store and began running away from it, knowing their job here was done.
The group was working on building the walls which would serve as the rendezvous point during their operation of leading the herd of walkers away from their community with the materials they have gathered at the construction site. Carol was walking back and forth the construction site , offering refreshments to the people who needed it. She walked over to Morgan who looked like he could use a drink after placing a few metal plates at one part of the wall.
She grabbed one cup from the tray she was holding and handed the cup to him, "Here you go."
"Thank you." Morgan nodded at her with a smile on his face, taking the cup from her, "It's Carol, right?"
Carol nodded in confirmation, smilling back, "Yeah."
"You been with Rick long?" Morgan asked.
"Since Atlanta." Carol replied.
"And were you a cop, too?" Morgan asked her another question.
"Why would you think that?" Carol replied with question of her own.
"You're always watching." Morgan explained, "You always... seem ready."
"For what?" Carol wanted to know.
"You know, to handle things." Morgan answered.
"Aren't you sweet?" Carol replied, slightly unnerved by the compliment.
Rick walked over to Deanna who was observing the construction of the wall, wanting to talk with her about something. He wielded a gun in his hand, just in case if he was going to need to use it, "I haven't had a chance to say it yet, but I'm sorry about Reg. He was smart and kind. He was a good man. It was the right call. We need this."
"What else?" Deanna asked.
"You need to tell me. People need to be armed inside the walls. They need to be trained, everyone." Rick replied, "I talked with Jo before leaving Alexandria. She said she is more than ready to start training these people." It was when his and Deanna's attention was brought towards the forest, hearing how something snapped there. Rick instantly knew what it was, "Here they come." He turned to look at Carter who along with Cameron was working with a few people he didn't know the names of, "Carter, Cameron heads up."
Carter and Cameron looked at him for a brief moment before their attention was brought towards the forest. The two of them felt how their eyes widened in panic when they saw a couple of walkers heading their way. Carter grabbed his rifle as Cameron backed away, hiding himself behind the rest of the people, knowing he wouldn't stand a chance against a walker.
"Use your shovels." Rick said when he saw Carter grab his gun. His group ran over to the scene in order to take care of the walkers, but Rick stopped them in their tracks by looking at them, "The gun will draw more."
"Help us." Carter said, lowering his gun as his friends tried to take care of the walkers, failing miserably at doing so. Cameron remained in the back, refusing to get near to the walkers.
"You can do this." Rick encouraged them, "You need to, all of you."
After watching how Carter and his group continued to take care of the walkers without any help with the rest of Rick's group, Morgan realized he had to step in because it could have ended with someone's death. He rushed towards the walkers, ignoring Rick's cries to not to do it and Rick's group followed him. Rick followed him a second later, knowing he had no other choice now, but to step in as well and help his group get rid of the danger.
After he and his group killed walker that just came out of the forest, Rick looked at Carter and saw him glaring at him. Cameron looked at Rick too, but wasn't glaring at him. He instead looked at Rick in more of a fearful manner.
Eugene walked into the armory to get a few things his group needed to head out behind the walls of Alexandria, not realizing he was not the only person in the armory right now. He walked over to the shelf which had the things he came here for and began grabbing the things his group needed from them. It was when he heard a voice somewhere in the armory.
"Time is running out." He quickly recognized this voice's as Carter's. He moved away from the sheld and walked over to the part of the armory Carter's voice was coming from. He peeked around the corner to see what was going on in the armory right now and and saw Carter talking with Tobin, Olivia, Sam, Dakota, Chet, Rock, Spencer and Francine, "He's talking about a dry run tomorrow. That's it."
"Rick stopped Pete." Olivia argued, "He stopped him."
"Yeah." Sam nodded in agreement, "He was a murderer, Carter. We all saw how he killed Reg just because he was in his way."
"What Rick wants to do is suicide. He even made Cameron leave the walls, even though he knows how fragile he is." Carter pointed out, "I'm sorry, Spencer, but Deanna is asleep at the wheel. So it's on us. We have got to stop him. What the priest said about him, about these people, he was right. How many more of us have to die before we do something? 'Cause pretty soon it's gonna be too late."
"I don't think so, man." Chet shook his head, "My bro would be dead if it wasn't for Rick and his group. Count me out whatever you're doing right now." He looked at Rock, "Right?"
"Yeah, I guess." Rock nodded at him.
"Carter, you need to be really careful here." Olivia said, "You're talking about us going to Deanna and telling her..."
"No, I'm not talking about talking some more." Carter cut her off, "About meetings. I'm not talking about that. Plain and simple, we kill him before he kill us."
It was when one of the things Eugene grabbed for his group fell out of his hand and fell down to the floor, allerting Carter and everyone else of his presence. Everyone shifted their attention to where Eugene was standing as Eugene backed away from them in fear, walking into the shelf which was standing behind him. He fell down to the floor, landing on his butt. He leaned against the shelf he had just walked into as Carter walked over to him with a gun in his hand.
"Hello." Eugene nervously greeted him.
"Carter." Tobin called out for Carter, trying to stop from doing something he was going to regret.
"He heard." Carter stated, looking down at Eugene.
"I didn't." Eugene nervously shook his head, "I mean, I didn't."
"Carter." This time it was Rock who called out for Carter.
"He heard." Carter repeated himself as he aimed his gun at Eugene, ignoring the words of his fellow residents of Alexandria to not do anything to him.
Before anything could have happen, the door to the armory was opened and Rick, Morgan, Daryl, Chef and Chris walked into it. The five of them immediately noticed Carter aiming his gun at a terrified Eugene.
"What the hell is going on?" Rick demanded to know right after seeing how someone was aiming a gun at someone from his group, "What are you doing?"
Carter shifted his gaze from Eugene to him, "I'm taking this place back from you."
Rick shifted his gaze from Carter to Tobin, Francine, Spencer, Olivia, Sam, Dakota, Rock and Chet, "That's what you were talking about in here?"
"That's what he was talking about." Spencer replied, pointing at Carter.
Rick nodded in understanding, "See, I would have- I would have set up some lookouts. That would have been the smart thing. You know, if I happened to..."
He cut himself in the middle of the sentence and lunged towards Carter, taking the other man by the suprise. He quickly disarmed him and kicked him in the stomach. Carter cried out in pain as he fell down to the floor, clutching his stomach in pain. Rick picked up Carter's pistol from the floor and aimed it at him.
"You really think you're gonna take this community from us?" Rick asked, aiming his the pistol at Carter as he glared at him, "From Daryl? From Michonne? From Glenn? From Chef? From Chris? From me? Do you have any idea who you're talking to?"
"It was just me." Carter nervously said, feeling how Rick had the pistol aimed at him.
"What?" Rick asked.
"It was." Carter repeated himself, "It was just me. Just kill me."
Rick narrowed his eyes at Carter, his glare not leaving his face as he seemed to be seconds away from pulling the trigger. He didn't pull the trigger, though. He moved the gun away from Carter and handed the pistol to Daryl as Carter looked over his shoulder at him with a mixture of relief and suprise.
"You can try to work with us." Rick told him, "You can try to survive. Would you do that?"
All the groups who were having their part in this operation made their way to the place on the side of the road where they planned to met up with each other after taking care of the tasks they were assigned to by Rick when they were planning this operation. The now reunited group looked at the walkers walking down the road, unaware they were being watches from the forest.
"It's working. You were right." Carter admitted himself to be wrong about Rick's idea. He extended his hand towards him for a handshake as Rick grabbed his hand into his and shook it.
"Everyone, we need to finish this." Rick declared after shaking Carter's hand, "We have to keep moving and fan out down that thing front to back. Like we said, cops at a parade." He looked at Glenn, Geoff and Alejandro, "Glenn, Alejandro, Geoff, you three take the back. You got the other walkie."
"Got it." Glenn voiced his understanding as Alejandro and Geoff silently nodded in understanding.
"If it gets sloppy, we fire our weapona, pull them back on track." Rick finished explaining his plan to his group.
"I'll hit the front." Carter turned away from Rick and began running forward himself.
"Okay." Rick nodded at him, "One after the other."
The group quickly split up into smaller groups and headed off to the jobs they were just assigned to by Rick. As Carter continued to run in the front of the group, a walker grabbed him from the side and bit him into his cheek. Carter screamed in pain as a piece of cheek was just bitten off his face, blood splattering everywhere. Because of his painful screams, several walkers split up from the rest of the herd and began heading in his direction.
"Tobin, they're breaking off." Rick informed Tobin through his walkie-talkie after noticing how several walkers split up from the rest of the herd.
"What do you want us to do?" Tobin asked.
"Fire your guns and draw them back." Rick replied as he eyed his surroundings, trying to locate the reason why the walkers were splitting up from the rest of the herd.
Morgan was sitting on the stairs leading up to the porch of Rick's house, cleaning his stick as Rick walked out of his house with Judith in his arms. Morgan looked over his shoulder to look at Rick as Rick slowly approached him.
"It's nice out." Morgan stated, shifting his gaze back to his stick.
"Yeah." Rick nodded in agreement.
"Hope you don't mind. I wanted to enjoy the evening a little and I don't have a porch over there, so..." Morgan replied, gesturing towards the unfinished house he was staying in after Brick, Aaron, Duncan and Daryl brought him into Alexandria.
Rick reached into his pocket and pulled out a pair of keys before throwing them to Morgan, "Get your stuff." Morgan caught the keys and looked at him, "You should stay with us over here."
"You got room?" Morgan asked, looking at the keys in his hand.
"We'll make it. We don't need to do that anymore." Rick replied, "I know you, Morgan. Even if this is the first time." Morgan smiled at him and looked at Judith. Rick quickly noticed his friend looking at his daughter, "You want to hold her?"
"Okay." Morgan chuckled, nodding his head as he set his stick aside and got up before walking over to Rick and Judith.
"This is Morgan." Rick introduced Morgan to his daughter, handing her into his arms, "He's a friend of mine."
"Hi." Morgan smiled at Judith after Rick handed her into his arms, "Okay. Let me have a look at you." He sat down on the steps as Rick sat down next to him. Morgan looked away from her Judith and looked at Rick, wanting to talk with him about something, "You with that man Carter, in the armory- that's you. You're still the same man I met in King County. The one that came back and told me it wasn't over. That was you. Same you that's right in front of me right now."
"I wanted to kill him." Rick admitted, "So it would be easier. So I wouldn't have to worry about how he could screw up or what stupid thing he'd do next because that's who he is. Just somebody who shouldn't be alive now." He sighed, "I wanted to kill him. But all that hit me and... I realized I didn't have to do it. He doesn't get it. Somebody like that... they're gonna die no matter what."
Carter continued to scream in pain as the undead bit into his flesh again, drawing attention of even more walkers from the road. It was when Rick came running from the right and freed him from the walker's grasp. Carter fell to the ground, clutching his bleeding cheek as Rick quickly took out the walker. Rick looked down at Carter after killing the walker as Chris, Chef, Morgan and Michonne arrived at the scene.
"Oh, I'm dead." Carter said fearfully, clutching his bleeding cheek and as he continued to scream in pain.
"Carter, take a breath." Rick crouched down in front of him, "Be quiet."
Carter continued to scream in pain, even after Rick told him to shush. Having no other choice and knowing Carter was a dead man no matter what he will do right now, Rick stabbed Carter in the back of his head, killing him and freeing him from his misery. The gunfire could be heard in the distance as Rick looked over his shoulder and saw Chris, Chef, Morgan and Michonne standing behind him. He and Morgan exchanged glances, remembering the conversation they had with each other about Carter.
"It's working." Tobin's voice sounded in Rick's walkie-talkie as the walkers which were drew into the forest by Carter's screams went back to the road, rejoining the herd, "The gunfire is bringing them back on the road."
Rick turned away from Morgan and grabbed his walkie-talkie, "You got them, Tobin."
"Copy that." Tobin replied, "What was that screaming?"
"That was Carter. He got bit right in the face. I stopped him." Rick explained as he picked up Carter's rifle from the ground before looking at Chris, Chef, Michonne and Morgan, "We have a good hour until we have 'em to green when we hand them off to Daryl, Duncan Sasha, Harold, Sanders and Abraham." He moved closer to Morgan as Morgan's eyes were not leaving Carter's corpse, "Why don't you head back, tell everyone what's happening? They should know."
"Okay, Rick." Morgan nodded at him, "I just..."
"Will you do that for me?" Rick asked as Morgan nodded at him. Rick looked at Michonne, Chris and Chef, noticing a single walker behind them, "I'll take care of that one. You three, you take point."
"...I know it's how it is." Morgan said a few seconds later, his eyes not leaving Carter's corpse as Rick moved to walker he had noticed behind Michonne, Chris and Chef, intending to kill it, "I do."
"Yeah." Michonne sighed, "I do, too."
"This is why we survived this long." Chef sighed as Chris nodded in agreement, letting out a sigh himself while Rick stabbed the walker heading towards them in the head with his knife, getting rid of it."
Jessie was all by herself in the armory, looking through the weapons her community was keeping in it and making sure each gun was in it's place. She titled her head to the side when she heard the door to the armory open, seeing Rick enter it and close the door behind him.
"Hey." He greeted her, "I was just getting more flares for tomorrow." Jessie turned away from him and grabbed a box of flares from the shelf. She turned back to him right after and handed him the box, "I know I haven't- I just- I just thought it might be best if I let things be for a while."
"Ron told me what happened." Jessie told him.
"Yeah, I wanted to talk to you about that." Rick said, "He shouldn't have been out there."
"No, he shouldn't have. You're right." Jessie admitted, "But you can't talk to him like that, Rick. You can't touch him. Not you."
"Ron needed to hear every word I said." Rick stated, "That's why I grabbed him. I wasn't angry. I was just telling him the truth."
"If it's coming from you, he can't hear it." Jessie stated, "You got to understand that."
"He needs to know how to handle himself. I can teach him. I can teach you." Rick offered, "You need to know how."
Jessie reached behind her and pulled out a pistol she was keeping stored in the back of her pants, "When I found out we could have them, I asked Rosita and Izzy to start showing me how. Okay? She's gonna teach me and I'm gonna teach Ron and I'm gonna teach Darren. I heard what you were saying to us at the meeting. And at my house before, you know. I am gonna fight, Rick."
The group had just finished a long day of preparing the road for the herd from the quarry. Everyone who was working on getting the road done today was gathered around Rick who was standing in the middle of the road, making sure eveyone would hear what he had to say to them.
"...All right, this is the finish line." Rick declared to the people gathered around him, "When we make it to green, we fall back. The ditches and ridges will keep them on the road. We head home, but Daryl, Duncan, Sanders, Harold, Sasha, and Abraham take them the rest of the way, 20 miles more. All right, let's go."
He turned away from his group and began walking down the road. His group quickly followed him as Abraham walked over to Sasha, wanting to talk with her about something before tommorow.
"Got a question for you." He told her as Sasha looked at him, "Just some intel before our little road trip tomorrow."
"Ask me." Sasha replied, wondering what he wanted to ask her.
"You doing this 'cause you want to die?"
Sasha just smiled at him, shaking her head, "No."
Daryl, Duncan and Sasha continued to drive their vehicles down the road, ensuring the walkers would head in the direction they wanted them to as the other groups were observing everything from their positions in the forest. Everything was doing pretty well right now. Their plan was working, despise them having to start early and it didn't seem like they were going to stumble upon any complication right now.
They were wrong. It was when they heard a loud noise which sounded like a horn in the distance. Everyone who were running through the forest right now froze in their tracks as they were instantly alarmed by it, wondering what was this noise and where it was coming from.
"What the hell is happening?" Heath asked, moving through the forest with Glenn, Alejandro, Brody, Geoff and Nicholas as all six of them were alarmed by this sudden noise.
"It's a horn or something." Alejandro stated.
Geoff pointed his machete towards the road, seeing how the walkers started to walk towards where the horn was ringing, "It's pulling the back half off the road."
Glenn shook his head, knowing they had just encountered a huge problem, "Oh, God."
Rick, Chef, Chris and Michonne quickly moved as far away from the road as they could, not wanting the walkers who were walking into the forest because of the horn ringing in the distance to spot them. They hid themselves behind a tree a few meters away from the road, trying to figure out where all this noise was coming from.
"Whatever that is, it's far." Michonne said as Chef, Chris and Rick looked at her, all four of them slowly realizing where this horn was coming from, "It sounds like it's coming from home."
Here we go with season 6! This chapter took me a little more time to write than I excepted when I started writing it (Originally I was planning to get it done on the day of premiere of the first episode of the last part of season 11 of TWD). Plus, I've been quite busy around the days when I was writing this chapter and it caused it to be slightly delayed too. Now, I'm just glad I finally go it done.
The new Don't Hug Me I'm Scared series is great. It was totally worth the wait. I hope they will make season 2.
I played Entropy Zero 2 and I loved every second of it. People weren't exaggerating when they were saying how good this mod is. I don't even think we should call it a mod. For me it is it's own game and the fact we can play it for free is such a blessing.
The new season of My Hero Academia premiered and all I can say is that the season is off to a great start. The animation already looks really good and I hope it will stay this way for the rest of the season. The new opening was great. The choice of artstyle and colors for it was great. I can't wait to see Mirko's scenes in the next episode as it was one of the things I was looking forward the most about this arc.
Hope it wasn't that bad. See you in another chapter.
