The Arrival
A cable car pulled into the main rail station. A boy of 17 stepped out, now able to move safely around and stretch his legs after the long journey. He hadn't known how he got there, or where he was; his mind a blank, the boy looked around the area, trying to muster what had happened. He'd just woken up that morning in the car; that was the last thing he could remember.
The boy walked around the car and attempted to squeeze behind it, but it was no use. The gap was just too small for him to fit through. Disappointed, with hopes of getting home shattered, the boy left the rail station to find away out of this place.
The paths seamed to bend and twist on forever. The streets were like a giant maze twisting and turning until ones lost their way. The boy leaned on the wall by a fork in the trail to rest for some bit before going on. There were two ways he could go; left to a doorway in a brick wall, or to the right with a path that seamed to fallow a fence.
The boy stayed put for a moment thinking of which way was best for him to go. He looked at the path on the right and on the left. He went to the left, but when the wind blew to the right, as if telling him to go the other way; he took it as a sign that he should go, although he had a bad feeling about it.
The boy was addressed by a strange man on the bridge before him. "I'm so glad someone came! I hope you don't mind if I take your car. I need to get out of here. I would bring you with me, but it to late now." And with that, the mystery man walked away.
"Hay, get back here!" The boy yelled at him. No response. 'What the hell?' The boy thought as he ran back along the path that brought him there. It didn't take him long to get back, but by the time he arrived to the rail station, it was too late. The car had just left and the boy chased after it. But he was too slow to catch up, and the boy dropped to his keens and watched the car disappear into the distance. The boy was now stuck, for what seamed like maybe eternity, in the city of Rhem.
