"S-see, this is why we're meant to wait." Flowey huffed. "Okay, well, it's a Froggit. Dangerous, but manageable."
"A what?" She asked, as its head tilted. "Uhm..."
"Chara...focus for a minute, you see that-" The flower motioned to the purple heart flowing out of her. "that's your soul, the very culmination of your being. They want it, you have it. Don't let it get hit, don't let yourself get hit. Those are the basics."
"N-not enough basics." She reasoned, while grasping the stick. "Huff."
The fight had started. And Froggit approached, irritating at having been ignored up until then. The sound of battle music began in Charas head, something appropriate for whatever trouble she had gotten herself into it.

Chara used Act - Check
She felt something peculiar, a sense of awareness of what Flowey was capable of doing. What it was possible he could do. Her soul shining, as it seemed to interact with him, much to the Flowers surprise. It was...his turn, so to speak. Even with the world slowed as she thought.

Flower used Intimidate.
The flower blinked, and gave her a look as time began returning. As though he wasn't sure what she'd done, or how precisely. But that would be a question for later. In the immediate, Chara checked the Froggit. - It was a dangerous little toad, that looked like it'd been through a lot. It didn't seem very tough, but clearly wanted to be seen as such.
While that happened, Flowey called out. "You'd better hop along frog-" Hs expression darkened. "or you'll end up dust in a corner." - Froggit didn't understand but was intimidated anyways.
The Froggit followed this up by pouncing at them, in particular at Chara. She stepped back in surprise, unable to dodge the tackle making contact. As both her and Flowey winced. The damage seeming to be shared. Pushing to the side, she avoided another rush. Flowey leaning out of the way of the frog as it attempted a third pounce.
"W-what was that!?" Flowey asked in alarm, and anger.
Chara could sense how durable he was. And that wasn't really a lot, she huffed a bit. And reasoned he would probably need to defend himself somehow, or maybe try to dive in the ground...maybe that'd help? She didn't know.
"S-sorry-" She apologized.
"W-whatever, just...if we beat it down, maybe it'll go away?" Flowey offered.
"Maybe." Chara replied quietly, not bothering to visualize the commands in their entirety.
Chara used Act - Intimidate

Flowey used Avoid.
She chose to intimidate. "Wow, that's the best you could do?" She scoffed. "Do you really think you're scary, doing so little damage?" - The Froggit didn't understand. But was intimidated anyways. - The Froggit seemed anxious.
Flowey meanwhile huffed, preparing himself to try and avoid sharing damage.
The Froggit responded by croaking some and generating dozens of strange butterfly like things around itself. They surged forward. Flowey diving beneath the soil, as Chara side stepped a few. Noticing the others winding, leaning back to avoid the next several. Before the final one made contact, causing her to stagger back. It didn't do a lot of damage, but it definitely hurt.
Flowey sprouted back up. "Well that worked." He muttered, adding. "Chara, you're gonna have to fight it."
She huffed some, reasoning he might be correct. True it was backing down some. But it hadn't fled or anything. What else was she supposed to do?
Chara used Fight.
Flowey used Fight.
The Flower materialized little white pellets, as she rushed towards the frog with the stick. It went to move, only to find the pellets forming a barrier around it. Swinging out, before it could respond, she made contact. Causing it to croak in pain.
The pellets moving in, as she leapt back, some moving to avoid her, and let her through. The Froggit responding by leaping up. Catching them by surprise, as it latched to the ceiling. It pounced towards her, the child diving to avoid it. Stumbling as she tried, getting tackled as it darted against her with its second jump. Both her and Flowey wincing, as it attempted to pounce once more. Rolling to the side the attack failed, and some distance was put between them once more.
"Chara, I have an idea. Let me...act on my own this time, okay?" The Flower requested.
"Okay?" She responded. F-Action unlocked.
Chara used Fight.
Flowey chose Act. And used F-Action.
The Flower focused and the ground began to move a little. Chara rushing at the Froggit once more, as it tried to hop and avoid. Far too slow, as she brought the stick slashing down at it. Doing some damage as it croaked again. It attempted to generate more of the strange butterflies, firing them at her. Only for her to find vines rising, tanking the hits for her.
She hadn't expected such a thing but noticed them break after a single hit. Prompting her to dodge all the same. Thankfully with less of the magical attacks to deal with. Easily avoiding them all this time.
"That was awesome!" She remarked.
"A little...tiring, but...thanks." Flowey replied, adding. "It looks weak."
-Chara-

Chara used Mercy - Spare.
Flowey used Intimidate.
"You'd better run-" Flowey warned. "or hasn't it gotten through yet?" He grinned evily. "You're just free xp."
The Froggit seemed terrified, and no longer wanted to fight. With this, Chara stopped, and motioned for it to run off. The monster glancing at them both briefly.
"Well go on, get." She said, looking irritated at its inaction.
The Froggit looked where she was pointing, and then, hopped away as fast as it could. Dropping some G in the process.
"Serves you right, jerk." Flowey huffed indignantly, glancing at one of his dinged up petals.
With the fight over, Chara grinned a little. "Wait a minue...Flowey, we won!"
"Using strange means, I don't understand." Flowey muttered, before he picked up the G. "Eh, at least we got 5 G out of it."
"Heck yeah!" She exclaimed. "You were so cool, petals!"
"T-thanks, but ugh, please not petals. That's a terrible nickname." He groaned. "It's just Flowey."
"Hmm...well, since we won, I'll leaf you be." She punned.
His expression turned truly neutral. "How...dare." He remarked, as she began to snicker. "You're impossible, you know that?"
"I do my best." She replied, feeling rather confident in their ability to catch up to Toriel.
