The next room wasn't that large. With the walls meeting in a middle section, where some leaves were present. Acting as a divider from said room, to whatever lay ahead. In the middle of it, above the leaves however, was a strange dark creature, floating there. Taking up all the space to move into the next area.

"Is...that a ghost?" She asked.

"We should...go back. Wait for it to leave." Flowey suggested scanning over the ghost.

"The froggits are coming." She reminded the flower. "We can't go back."

There was a general sense of nothing that followed after. With the duo glancing back, and then to the ghost. Who merely hovered around, doing...nothing. Literally nothing, but floating there, taking up the space. Occasionally glancing in their direction.

"Maybe we can make it move?" Chara suggested.

"That's a terrible idea," Flowey stated quickly.

Regardless she stepped forward and motioned for it to move. The ghost giving her a glare, before ignoring her. The glare becoming a look of surprise, as it turned and gave her a proper look over. Grinning some.

"No...kidding..." The ghost began. "you look exactly like that dumb bitch's dead kid."

"W-what?" Chara asked.

Flowey winced, and said. "Can you just uh...get out of the way."

The Ghost gave an evil look. "Shut up flower boy." He turned to face Chara once more. "Yeah, I know that look. Saw it in one of those photos she has. Made myself a dummy, just like it. Hell, I've been wearing it off and on for the last couple months just to watch her freakout." He laughed evily. "But...here you are. Guess you weren't so dead, were you?"

A few things clicked in Charas mind. As her expression darkened. Falling into a glare.

"You're the reason she's...like that?" Chara asked.

"Kid, a lifetime of needin therapy is how she got like that." The ghost laughed. "Not that a shrink'd do that crazy brawd any good."

The world flashed dark, black and red. The ghost chuckling a little. Charas eyes piercing it, hate welling up in them.

Napstablook blocked the way. Bearing an evil grin. He seemed amused that she was attacking him. Flowey tensed up, and let out a breath. Charas soul manifesting before her, grabbing the phantoms attention.

Chara decided to attack.

Flowey used Talk.

Flowey immediately said. "L-look, we don't wanna fight you. We just need to pass is all." - Napstablook appeared amused, at the groveling. - Chara swung out at the ghost, only for her fist to go through it. Leading to her staggering back, looking confused.

"Idiot. I'm a ghost. You...Can't...Hit me." Napstablook remarked with a dark chuckle.

Music notes manifested around the ghost, burning with a strange energy. Rising and spiraling around, as the ghost hummed to the beat. They weaved throughout the air, as Chara took a step back. Suddenly bursting forward in sets of threes. Side-stepping them proved easy enough, before one slammed into her from behind. Dealing damage to her and Flowey in the process.

Glancing back, she found another few coming, and weaved to avoid it. Managing to do so, as Napstablook chuckled. Clearly curious how she'd respond. Flowey felt the strange sensation, like a voice in the back of his mind, as some dark coiled around the edges of Chara's eyes.

Chara decided to Challenge.

Flowey was compelled to attack.

"You think you're so tough?" Chara asked, adding. "You're just a bully. A weak one at that." Flowey let out a sound of alarm - Napstablook was not amused. His magic burning hotter in response.

Flowey took the moment of distraction to generate several pellet-like bullets. Firing them out in quick succession. Napstablook didn't dodge, eyes opening more as he took damage. Grinning eviler in response.

"That so?" The ghost chuckled.

A new series of attacks were generated, this time running across the floor beneath her. Before she knew it, a section suddenly lit up. Trying to dodge it, she stepped away. Only for magic to burst from the other parts. Burning at her as she let out a loud cry of pain. The light vanishing, as another pattern appeared.

Stepping back, she avoided the next wave. Having to move left, right, up, down. Before the attack finally passed. Her entire body shaking, as she struggled to stay up. Flowey in similar fashion looked miserably from the hit.

|Chara - 1 HP| - |Flowey - 2 HP|

Her will wavered for a moment, as she couldn't help but cower at the pain. The sight clearly amusing the ghost even more. Only for another round of bullets to collide with him. The phantom growling angrily.

"C-hara, we need to run." Flowey declared worriedly.

"If I'll let you." The Ghost growled. "Honestly, the only problematic one-"

A series of notes fired at them, as she began darting. Staggering, and limping through several attacks. Barely avoiding the near constant barrages. A stumble resulting in one coming straight towards her. Before a shift of movement saw it hit something other than her projected soul.

"F-flowey?" She asked, as the flower broke apart into dust. A sudden empty feeling washing over her, as her legs gave out. Falling to her knees, grasping at the bits of dust. Feeling confused, horrified, and guilty. Tears welling up in her eyes.

"That one." The Ghost remarked. "C'mon kid, give it your best shot."

She let out an angry yell, while struggling to her feet. Swinging at the ghost repeatedly, using all the force she had left. Trying to muster something, anything. However, her attacks did nothing. Another swing, nothing. And then another, and a stagger. Ending with her falling back to the ground. Soul burning brighter despite it, glancing up at the ghost, eyes clouded with black dripping tears, and rage.

"Thought so." Napstablook said. "Best part, you're human...and they leave bodies behind." He grinned eviler. "I wonder how she'll respond to seeing you dead again?"

The notes suddenly exploded beneath her, the pain prompting a scream, as the soul shattered.
