Magnus picked Alec up from the bathroom floor, carefully, not wanting to injure his love anymore than he already was. Once out, everyone asked if Alec was alright, being the kind hearted soul he was, Alec nodded waving off their concern. "I'm fine, you know morning sickness and coffee smells are not okay with me. I held out as long as I could. Not to worry, you all shower and get ready for school though, don't want you being late on my account."

The group tried to protest, one look from Magnus, they shut their mouths quickly, hurrying to get showered and dressed so they really wouldn't be late. "Okay, I'm going to get the girls dressed for daycare, then I'm going to shower. Are you going to be okay alone whilst I'm helping the girls and everyone?" Magnus asked as he gently laid Alec on their bed.

"I'm going to be fine Mags, I promise. Just get going. You can't miss school either. It's the first day."

"You do too baby."

"I know, I'm going to be there, just behind a screen. Once I'm better, I'm sure you'll have a field day walking me to class." Alec chuckled seeing Magnus smile widely at the thought. "Just like high school."

Shaking his head, Alec agreed, "just like high school."

An hour later, Alec was alone with his pups and laptop. First class of the semester was about to start, and he was fully engaged in what the professor was lecturing about. Yep! Long damn day.

12:30 PM.

Alec was done with his classes for the day. Him and the puppies needed to eat lunch. So slowly putting his babies gently on the floor, Alec then proceeded to the kitchen. Not really in pain at the moment, so he quickly fixed the pup's lunch and made him two tuna fish sandwiches with bacon bits, lettuce, and tomatoes. Soooo good.

Grabbing his phone from the counter, Alec texted Magnus just keeping him updated on his day and letting him know that he was eating. So his overprotective man wouldn't drive home and force feed him. Of course Alec had to send pictures of proof. Ugh honestly.

It was close to get the girls from school, he needed to make their snacks and get started on dinner, since only him, the girls, and Max would be home at the time, Alec wanted to make sure his family had a good hearty meal. Spaghetti and chicken alfredo with honey butter biscuits and garlic knot rolls. Yes that will do wonderfully. Sighing Alec got up to get dressed, he was going grocery shopping. He had to fill the house back up, and had coupons to use.

"Hey Izzy, what's up?" Alec says into the phone whilst juggling to put his joggers on. "Hey big bro! Was just seeing how you were doing." Rolling his eyes, Alec knew his family was over protective of him, but they were acting as if he couldn't take care of himself. Huffing Alec responded calmly, not wanting to give off his irritation. "I'm fine, just about to head out, I need a few things for dinner this week. Do you need anything?"

"Um, bro I don't think you should be going shopping on your own. Do you want me to come help you?"

"No, you're at school. Plus you have work as soon as you finish. I promise I'm fine, I'm not in pain or anything, which is why I'm going to the store now before I have to take my medicine that's going to knock me out as soon as possible. So I ask again. Do you need anything?" Alec was putting his Nikes on as his sister sputtered her reply asking him to get her some pads and tampons.

"Okay, is there a certain brand you want? Because I know females are very particular about what products they use."

"Oh, yes, always size five and kotex tampons super plus. Also I need some carefree pantyliners, Excedrin, and lots of chocolate. Please and thank you!" Alec chuckled, listening to Izzy ramble on about her day and what happened in her classes.

Getting into the car was tiring, but he managed to get in the driver's seat without hurting himself. "Izzy, I have to go now, Magnus is calling me, so I'll see you when you get home. I love you!" Alec says quickly before answering his fiancé's call.

"Hi darling, how are you feeling?" Alec couldn't help but smile and coo at how adorable his soon to be husband was. "I'm fine love, heading to the store now, I need a few things for dinner tonight. I want everything done before everyone gets home so I can rest and cuddle with my babies."

"Ooo what are you making for dinner love?" Magnus asked, sounding hungry. Alec chuckled fondly at his fiancé. Magnus was always hungry. "Spaghetti with honey butter biscuits and chicken alfredo with spinach and garlic knots. I might make a salad as well."

"Oh my God, baby that sounds amazing! I can't wait to get home! Oh and my parents are picking up the girls from daycare, by the time I get out of class, I'll be stuck in traffic." Alec hummed in agreement, understanding Magnus's frustration. "It's okay baby, that's fine, you will get to see them when you get home, I just got to the store, do you need anything?"

"No love, I have all I need. I love you baby, please be careful and don't over do it." Magnus says seriously. Rolling his eyes, Alec ended the call, knowing he was about to go crazy in the store. At Least he would have help once he got home. Carefully exiting the car, Alec made his way into Sam's Club.

It took a full hour getting all the things he needed. Magnus was not going to be happy, Alec spent 700 dollars on groceries and household essentials. Plus, he still had to go to Walmart to use his coupons. After loading his car by himself, Alec made his way to Walmart.

Not wanting to grab all the stuff from his car, Alec grabbed what he needed for dinner and made his way into the house. He was not going to even tackle that pile of food he has his entire car. No way in hell. Opening the door, he heard his darling angels giggling at something on the TV. "Hi babies, how are you?" Alec asked them, breaking them out of their trance. They rushed to him giving his kisses and hugs. "How are you Jason and Thalia?"

Alec made his way into the kitchen to wash his hands and begin preparations for dinner. Looking at the clock, it was 2:30 he had to get moving, Max was going to be out of school soon, so as he spoke with his favorite in-laws. Alec got snacks prepared for the girls and Max as he made dinner.
