Getting the all clear from the doctor, Alec wanted to go home and take a nice hot bath to clear his mind. That fight took a lot out of him. He was feeling feral, not liking people touching him. Only his babies were allowed to get close to him, anyone else? It was either fight or flight. So as soon as they entered the house, Alec walked directly into his and Magnus's bathroom, closing the door and locking it.

Everyone turned to Magnus to ask what was wrong with Alec. Seeing their expressions, Magnus deeply sighed. "He doesn't like being touched right now. I think with everyone surrounding him and not letting him out of their sight is taking a toll on his mental health. I say we let him have some space for now. Let him relax in the comfort of his own home. He's been in the hospital for a week straight, I know my baby, he needs a bath to relax his mind and muscles. When he is ready to talk, then Alec will let us know. Until then let's help get the house together. We need to go grocery shopping immediately." Magnus, Jace, Isabelle and Clary headed to get food for the house leaving Max and Simon home.

Together the two straightened up the house. By the time they finished, Alec walked out of his room heading straight for Max pulling him into his arms. Father and son didn't let go for ten minutes. Max not minding one bit. When Alec left Max, he turned to Simon doing the same. "I am sorry I worried you guys. I just needed to get my head together and realize that I'm happy for the person that I am. I'm so over people trying to make me emotional by calling me a freak or mixed-race mutt. I love me and I love the man that I am becoming. Most importantly, I love being a father. So from now on, fuck what people think." Alec smiled and chuckled feeling way better than before. "Now I'm in the mood for a One piece marathon. Would you both like to join me?"

Simon and Max nodded.

"I'll get the drinks."

"I'll get the snacks."

"And I will start up Netflix."

Three hours later everyone returned back to the house, including the girls, Nadia and James, Thalia and Jason. The trio was intuned with the show and didn't pay them any attention. When the episode ended they turned to see everyone staring at them. "What?" The trio questioned at the same time.

"Ummmm, we've been calling your names for three minutes. Sheesh what is so special about anime?" Jace asked indignantly.

Alec smiled, reaching out towards Jace, "Would you like to step into our world and find out for yourself?" Rolling his eyes, Jace joined them on the couch, along with the rest of the family. They haven't seen Alec smile in a week, so it was refreshing. The groceries could wait. Magnus and the girls sat beside Alec and snuggled together finally feeling complete. Magnus paused the show, gaining murderous glares from everyone. "I'm sorry, but we have to put away groceries and probably eat some real food besides popcorn." Magnus hated doing this, but someone had to be the adult. "So come on guys, Alec you and the girls stay put. Simon and Clary head home to get your own groceries away and probably pack some clothes for the night. I'm sure you don't want to be away from Alec so come on chop chop. I promise no one will watch the show without you."

While everyone was putting away groceries, Alec took the girls to bathe them early so they wouldn't have to move from the couch unless they had to use the potty. They were doing great being big girls. It even got to the point they would get out of their bed to go potty. It was adorable. Alec dressed the girls in Moana nightgowns, it was still summer so wearing a lot of clothes was a no go. "Hey baby, how are you feeling?" Magnus asked, wrapping his arms around Alec protectively and kissing his cheek sweetly.

Alec sighed, "I am actually doing okay. I just want to get back to my life. I mean actually going back to work Magnus. I hate not working. I want to work until I have to go on maternity leave. I have four or five months to get my hotel running the way I want it before I have to take a leave of absence. Plus now that I am schooling online, it gives me more freedom to put together the nursery." Alec explains, "I want a mickey mouse theme for our boys."

Magnus laughed foundry at his fiance. "You are still obsessed with Mickey Mouse huh?"

"Damn straight!" Alec cutely exclaimed, earning him a deep kiss which he melted into. He missed being close like this with Magnus. "I'm sorry for being distant lately, too much was going on inside my brain."

"It's okay darling. As long as you are doing better, that's all that matters to me."

Alec nodded. "I am, but just ease up on being over protective. It's getting on my nerves." Blame the hormones but enough with the coddling. If it continued he was going to explode. Magnus apologetically smiled, "I will try love. I'm sorry seeing you fighting then collapsing afterwards is permanently burning into my memory. Plus having you in the hospital and not home didn't really help, but now that you are home everything can get back to normal."

"Yeah, I think we all need therapy to be honest. Everyone is going through something dark or running from our past and never really moving past it. I'm going to tell the others later and I think this would really help us. They might not like it, but I'm hoping it will ease the stress off their shoulders. But enough with the heavy, tell me more about this app you are developing and when can I play it?"

Magnus began to happily explain to Alec his new app called Family Island. The development sounded complicated but Alec loved seeing/hearing Magnus excited about his passion. As they spoke Alec decided to order the house some donuts from Dunkin Donuts and some ice cream from Dairy Queen. Alec was having a pregnancy sweet tooth and he was going to indulge. The food arrived the same time as Clary and Simon arrived. The family pulled out tents to have a more updated sleep over. The older adults either stayed on the couch or went into one of the spare bedrooms for the evening. It was a relaxing night for Alec.
