What is this?! Another chapter so soon (for me). Yeah, well I read the reviews and I was motivated to keep writing. Anyway who care about what I'm saying, back to the story...

Team 7 plus Jiraiya set off from the village at a brisk pace.

"I know Naruto can keep up, but I wonder about you two."

Sasuke rolled his eyes, "your not even moving fast, a genin could keep up with this pace."

Naruto winced. Kakashi put away his book.

Sasuke then realized his mistake, but refused to back down.

Jiraiya smiled widely at him recognizing the stubborn look on the boys face, "That's good. I know you are trying to push yourself to become a Jonin, right? Try this speed on for size."

With that Jiraiya took off followed closely by Team 7. Jiraiya took a look over his shoulder at Sasuke who was doing his best to not look like he was fazed by the new speed.

"Hahahahaha! Act tough all you want, but the sun doesn't go down for another six hours so save that energy."

Sasuke and Sakura's face paled, "SIX HOURS?!"

Instead of making a smart ass comment he just made a mental note to tease them later and focused on being as energy efficient as possible. He knew from experience that when the Pervy Sage's mind started to wander while thinking about his next book that the pace would actually increase as the hours went by… especially if he was thinking of writing about something intense.

Jiraiya had to give it to Naruto's new teammates they were persistent and in much better shape than he had given them credit for. He eventually started to slow down as the sun was beginning to set.

The group eventually came to a walk and Sasuke and Sakura were both gasping for breath and sweating profusely.

"Man you guys are out of shape. Haha."

They both glared at Naruto.

Sasuke was on the verge of collapse, but didn't want to show it. Instead of admitting defeat he kneeled down to pretend to tie his shoe and immediately regretted it. His legs instantly cramped and locked up which ended with him landing face first in the dirt.

Sakura took a step towards him, "Sasukaaahhhhh." She yelled out as her legs did the same this as Sasuke's and she also fell face first into the dirt.

Naruto smiled sympathetically now that they were face down in the dirt and couldn't see him do so. Naruto who was still running in place to try his best to cool down from the run made two clones who picked them up and carried them the rest of the way to the hotel they were staying at that night.

Kakashi looked on the sight winded and performed a small healing jutsu on his own legs and then pulled out his book and continued to walk as if nothing had happened.

Jiraiya Yawned and stretched, "I suppose that was a good warm up. WHO'S READY FOR ROUND TWO?!"

The original Naruto gave him a shove, "You should like Guy."

The Pervy Sage jumped back completely aghast, "How could you? I am nothing like that man!"

Kakashi looked up from his book. "Hn?"

Jiraiya seemed to get impaled by a word arrow as he recognized the act Kakashi used in order to deal with Guy.

Jiraiya pulled himself up from the ground and shook his fist at Kakashi, "That attitude of yours will get you in trouble someday!"

Everyone then paused. Jiraiya then seemed to understand what he had just said.

He slapped either side of his face, "AHHHH! What's happening?!"

He started to mutter to himself, "It's fine just recover like you always do." He stood to his fullest height and made what he believed to be a dashing pose, "Let's go peek in the womens hot spring!" 'Nailed it.'

Sakura tried to swing at him, but just ended up throwing the Naruto clone off balance and making them both fall to the ground.

Just then Jiraiya went flying and a woman with gigantic breasts cracked her knuckles with a tick mark on her forehead. "Do it and you die!"

-Some time later-

Jiraiya's vision started to come back to him he was laying in a fairly nice room and he noticed that Tsunade was at the table drinking sake.

"Why is it that we always meet like this? You barely remembering that I'm here because of alcohol and me never remembering because of all the head trauma."

Tsunade snorted, "Yeah right you and I both know that the amount of alcohol that it takes to make either of us black out is obscene, not to mention that I happen to heal you every time you say something that you know is going to get your ass kicked."

Jiraiya rubbed the back of his head, "Still it can't be good for me to be unconscious so much."

Tsunade glared at him, "you should have thought of that before you became a smut author."

Jiraiya shrugged and grinned, "When you find your calling in life you just have to go all in."

Tsunade raised her fist menacingly.

Jiraiya put up his arms in surrender and switched the topic. "So what about you coming back to become the Hokage?"

Tsunade slumped, "I know I'm supposed to be honored, but you know as well as I do the amount of responsibilities that comes with that job."

Jiraiya raised his eyebrow, "It also comes with some benefits though. I know you have been dying to take over that hospital and fill it to the brim with hot tempered med-nin just like you."

Tsunade crossed her arms, "What's wrong with that?!"

Jiraiya made an OK sign and a thumbs up, "Just as long as you teach them your breast enhancing jutsu!"

Tsunade hit him over the head again. Once he was back in his bed she decided to go see his pupil, after all she had liked Minato.

She came across Naruto hiding behind some boxes and focusing intently across the street.

"What do you think…"

Naruto held up a hand to silence her. Just then Sasuke and Sakura walked into the restaurant and sat down.

Naruto turned to face her, "What can I do for you this evening? Temper your expectations though I have slowly, but surely replaced every bit of furniture in that restaurant with clones."

Tsunade raised an eyebrow, "Holy crap on a cracker you are just like your father."

Naruto smiled, "Really? Good to know I'm doing the old man proud."

"Haha now you just need a no shit taking girlfriend to beat you over the head when you do something stupid and you are basically a clone of him."

Naruto paused and looked at he then the ground and then back at her.

"No freaking way! What are the chances?"

Naruto rubbed his head, "I guess the apple fell straight down. Haha."

Naruto suddenly got very serious, "It's time."

He turned around to see that Sasuke and Sakura had finished their meal and were currently sliding closer to each other working up the courage to kiss. Once the were less than an inch apart roughly a hundred copies of Naruto who were disguised as tables chairs and even silverware reappeared with flashing cameras.

They all bombarded the couple with questions, "There are rumors that you two are exclusive can you confirm? Is It true that Sasuke has an ooy gooy side? How long before we can expect the children?"

Sasuke and Sakura's faces went completely red especially after the last question. Both of them then turned to each other and narrowed their eyes. Within a matter of seconds all of the Naruto clones had been dispersed rather violently.

Naruto giggled behind the boxes that he was hiding behind.

Tsunade crossed her arms, "How about those teammates of yours? Are they up for the challenge?"

Naruto regarded her seriously, "I honestly have nothing but respect for those two. I told them the truth and let them know how far behind they were and they didn't back down. The amount of progress they have made is astounding. Sasuke is always improving which has made me redouble my efforts to stay ahead, but I know in time he will catch me in some things. Sakura is taking after you it would seem. I'm am legitimately not sure if there is a medical textbook she hasn't read."

Tsunade rolled her eyes, "They are really that good huh?"

Naruto smiled, "They will be, after all I bet my life on it. Eventually Akasuki will realize that they will need several members or some really powerful ones in order to capture me. At that time I will have to rely on them totally and completely… If you tell them any of this I will prank you to no end.

Tsunade growled and developed a tick mark on her head, "If you do you die." then she hit him in the head and knocked him out.

Tsunade picked him up and glanced at the boxes, "well now you know." then she walked off.

Sasuke and Sakura had taken the opportunity to sneak up to the other side of the boxes while Naruto was so distracted talking to the blonde Sanin. They had heard every word, but couldn't believe that he actually admitted it. They knew he had fond feelings for them since he went through hours of work and great lengths to pull off his pranks, but to have it verbalized put it in perspective. However they were still going to prank him back.

Sasuke and Sakura snuck into the room where he was passed out and very carefully duck taped him to the ceiling. Once the were done they giggled and snuck around the corner grabbed the sliding door with both hands and peeked out from behind it. Naruto groaned and started to wake up and without warning the Naruto on the ceiling turned to smoke.

"What are we looking at?" Naruto whispered to them from behind.

They both jumped and tried to turn around but found that their hands were glued to the door frame which slid forward and ended with Sasuke on top of Sakura in a rather awkward position. Naruto slowly reached down and grabbed and camera and took a snapshot. Almost immediately they were chasing Naruto outside shouting death threats.

The real Naruto nudged the old man next to him who was feigning unconsciousness. "Are you really going to put something like that in your book?"

Jiraiya sat up with a huge smile and finished writing, "of course not… If I put the exact encounter I would have to pay you money, but it will definitely inspire some grade A material."

Naruto shook his head, "So are we all done here? Tsunade seems to be sold on the position. I'm also going to have to pick her brain about my dad. She seemed to know him and my mom pretty well."

"You can say that again. She used to beat Minato up for pulling pranks with his teleportation Jutsu."

Naruto scratched his head, "Couldn't he have just teleported away?"

Jiraiya smiled, "You have no Idea what she's capable of. That is one scary woman."

Naruto just rolled his eyes, "So are we done?"

Jiraiya shook his head, "One more stop and It's going to be tricky. Hopefully you will be able to keep up. You will have an opponent that might be a little rough on you."

Naruto crossed his arms, "That could be anywhere, any more hints?"

Jiraiya smiled wide, "He is part of my spy network, but his cover is so deep I bet you won't even see it coming."

So how was it? I know it wasn't too long, but oh well. I wonder who the spy is can you guess... probably, it will still be fun though. As always please review it helps me keep writing. As the Canadians say peace oot.
