„Hey Cat", Beck called me.
„Hi…", I said unsurely back. He was standing in front of the play writing classroom and he was obviously waiting for me. It felt a little bit awkward for me, because I had only been with Jade since they broke up on Friday night and it felt just weird being next to him. I still liked Beck, but I liked Jade too and somehow I felt like a traitor.
They broke each other, when they ended their relationship. I had never known why it was called breakup until last Friday. Now I knew the reason.
Of course Beck looked gorgeous as always, but when I was standing directly next to him I could see how sad he was. They were always together, in the beginning as good friends and then as a couple. Andre had told me that you couldn't see that Beck was sad, just emotionless, like he was often when Jade wasn't there. I could see the sadness anyways, although he was hiding it very well. I always saw what people were feeling.
I could clearly remember one day, maybe a year ago, when Jade and Beck had to go to Lane because they were being too much PDA in the hallway. I was with them and I think that they acted normally, but Lane was thinking differently about it. This was also the first time I ever spotted something like embarrassment on his face. I wished they would be still like that.

I am standing next to Jade and Beck who are kissing as if there was no tomorrow. I don't mind them, I'm happy that they love each other this much.
Suddenly Lane comes and when he spots Jade and Beck he shouts: „Jade, Beck, stop kissing and please listen to me!" Luckily the hallway is nearly empty at this point.
„Hey Lane!", I say, „I think they are busy." I giggle and look in their direction once more.
Beck now pulls away from Jade and they see Lane standing a few feet beside them with a not so happy face.
Jade looks confused and Beck a little bit ditzy, while their bodies are still entwined.
„Jade, Beck, you know that I don't care about it, but rules are rules, so please, once again, no PDA at school. Helen told me after the last time that I should have a conversation with you the next time. So yeah, come please to my office", Lane tells them with a slightly bored expression on his face. Beck had took a step back but his hand was still holding Jades.
Jade looks pissed but she knows that arguing doesen't help, so she groans in exasperation and she and Beck walk over to Lane, who guides them to his office.
„Stop!", I suddenly shout, „I don't know where to go next. Andre, Robbie and Tori are already gone!"
Jade, Beck and Lane turn around.
„Just…", Lane says, „Just… Just come with us Cat. Are you fine with it?" He looks at the couple. At my favorite couple.
„Sure", Jade says and I begin smiling, because I know that I am the only person who she doesen't mind if I'm there or not.

Beck and I were sitting next to each. Normally I liked it and, yes, I still liked it, but now it felt just awkward being next to Beck. Especially now I remembered that this was an extra long class. I always forgot how long it was, but it took much more time than normal periods, so I called it extra long class.
„Students!", the teacher shouted who was standing in front of the class, „Please listen to me! Today you have to finish your scripts that you were writing together for the last few weeks now. At the end of the period hand me your finished script. I will grade it, so work hard now for the next 3 periods. I asked the principal and he switched the break for you so now you have full two hours and fiveteen minuits for it."
The students groaned and began to whisper. Of course the script was an important grade but more than two hours sounded so long!
„Silent again please!", the teacher demanded, „I know it is very long but you know too how important this grade will be, so just be happy that there is so much time." The teacher sat down at his desk and started to correct something. My partner at the script writing exam thing was Beck, of course. But we have done good work during the past few weeks so it didn't take long for us to finish the last side.
„Good work", Beck whispered and I smiled brightly.
„What are we doing now?", I asked him, „The others are still working."
Beck thought for a moment with puckered brows. „I don't know either…", he finally told me.
„Oh, but I know!", I said excitedly, but I think that I was a little bit too loud, because of the teachers warning peek.
„That's great Cat. I think I'll just do some homework for the next english lesson."
He took his notes from the english class out of his backpack and started doing homework. But I did something better! I cotinued writing my play. The one that was about Jade and Beck not the one I wrote together with Beck for class. Somehow it made me happy to write, because in the universe of the play, Jade and Beck and were, well… Jade AND Beck.
And the time flew by and I was so into writing that I forgot everything about me. The final scene was a song they sang together. I didn't knew what song, but the other things I knew and I wrote them down. It was them two and around them there were a lot of people, passing the couple in a hurry, hectically and quickly. But Jade and Beck didn't mind it at all and they were just happy to have each other.
„Okay, now hand me your finished script and then you can go!", the teacher said suddenly in a annoying loud voice and I fell out of my own perfect little world. A little bit ditzy I quickly took my script gave it to teacher and went out of the class where Beck was already waiting for me.
„I'm really hungry", I told him.
„Me too", he answered, „Let us go to the Food Truck." Beck bagan walking.
„Wait Beck!", I grabbed his arm, „Why don't we look for Tori, Andre, Robbie and… Jade? So we can eat with them?"
Beck turned around and I saw that he frowned by the hearing of Jades name. „Our teacher switched the breaks so we could have more time to finish our scripts. Andre, Robbie… I mean the others have class right now. Come with me now? I'm really hungry."
„Oh. Kay kay", I said and walked with him to the Food Truck.
„Beck?"
„Hmm, Cat?"
„Did you gave the teacher our script?"
„Yes, why are you asking me?"
„Because I gave him a script TOO!"
„What script Cat? We just had one, didn't we?"
„Yes! But I wrote a script that's very private and not for school. And I think I handed it to teacher!" A tear rolled down my face and I felt like I was on fire. This wasn't real. The script about Jade and Beck! And I had given it to a teacher. „Beck!", I cried, „It really wasn't written for other eyes!"
Beck hugged my shivering body. „Ssh Cat, everything will be fine. We search the teacher and ask him to give you your script back."
A/N: Cliffhanger! Will she get her script back?
Short question: What do you say: Jade and Beck or Beck and Jade? I really don't know what sounds better but most time I use Jade and Beck because of Cats point of view. (I think that she would definitely say Jade and Beck instead of Beck and Jade) Hopefully you are still enjoying this story. There's gonna be more action from now on.
