A/N: Hi again! Thanks for reading :) A big hug to everyone who does!
"I didn't expect you two to be that stupid", Sikowitz finally said.
Jade's eyebrows wandered a little bit further to her hair but she continued to be silent.
I was confused by his statement too, I mean… why would a teacher say something like this? But then again, he wasn't just a random teacher: He was Sikowitz!
My thoughts were interrupted when our teacher continued to speak.
"It is obvious that Beck and Jade are endgame, if they weren't they would have broken up a long time ago. Both are quite hard to handle as a partner in a relationship. So after all, this breakup is just an ridicolous waste of time."
While Sikowitz explained this he sauntered to one of the windows in our classroom. There he stopped speaking and observed the same bird Beck was observing earlier.
Then he turned around and when he started to speak again he tune wasn't this serious anymore.
"This leads to a drive by acting exercise for everyone except Beck and Jade who come to me when it begins. So anyway, your job is to pretend that Beck's and Jade's relationship is a fictional romance in a novel. You are all hardcore fangirls or fanboys of the book and when Beck and Jade break up in the end of the novel, that isn't going to be continued by the way, your world falls apart. Get it?"
Most students nodded.
"Then start!"
Everybody got up and began to shout sentences in order to follow Sikowitz' instructions.
"Oh my god, oh my god, I can't stand that! They were my favorite couple ever!", Tori cried dramatically and grabbed Andre's arm.
"I know", he answered her, his voice and expression both extremly sad.
I hadn't moved and still sat in my chair, watching Sikowitz and Jade and Beck in a corner of the classroom. Sikowitz was talking to them but due to all the loud people around me, I couldn't understand a single word or see their faces because they were standing with the back to me.
Maybe he was trying to get them back together? I had been really surprised when Sikowitz had told the whole class about Jade and Beck being endgame. I knew that for sure but I definitely hadn't expected him to think that too.
"Cat? What's up?", Andre asked when he noticed that I didn't follow the acting exercise like all other students.
"i just don't think that I can do this", I admitted, "You know what I mean? It is too real for me."
"I know exactly what you mean and it isn't easy for me either", he told me, "But you have to pretend that the Beck and the Jade you have to fangirl over aren't the real ones. For example imagine that you write the name Jade with an 'Y' instead of a 'J' and the name Beck is written without a 'C'. and that the fictional Jade has short and blonde hair."
M eyes grew bigger while Andre spoke to me. He was so right!
"Oh my god, YES! And Bek-„, I pronounced his name on purpose special so Andre could hear that I meant Bek and not Beck, "Beck has blonde hair too! No wait, his hair is blue! Can you believe this Andre? He has blue hair because he died it in this color!"
Andre grinned due to my excitement. "That means that you are alright now?". He asked me.
„Yes thank you so much Andre!"
I got up too and began to sob: "I… I… I… just want them to be back together!"
For a short moment Andre looked at me with alarm but then he realized that I was just acting so he joined me.
"You are so right! They were meant to be, so can anybody please tell me why they split?!"
"I am going to write fanfiction!", Robbie announced loudly.
…
The bell rang and everybody stopped immediately acting to pack his things and get out of the classroom.
A few students were even polite enough to say good bye to our improv acting teacher, but most didn't care and left the room without one more word.
"Cat? Won't you come with us?"
I cringed at these words mostly because of the immediately following tap on my shoulder.
"Oh… um"
Andre, Tori and Robbie were all staring at me.
"I am waiting for Beck and Jade", I explained myself.
"Okay", Tori said, Andre nodded and Robbie gave me a worried look, but then all three left the room.
Sikowitz finished talking to them when all students except me and them had left the room so I couldn't listen anymore what Sikowitz had told them.
I made a mental note to ask Jade when we were outside of the classroom too.
Finally they turned around and I could see their face expressions.
Surprisingly Jade didn't look very angry anymore and Beck's tensed face had softened a little bit too.
"Cat, what are you still doing here?", Jade asked me as soon as she spotted my bright red hair.
"I was waiting for you", I explained for the second time now.
Jade smiled a very tiny smile. (Until now I think that it was the tiniest smile I had ever seen! You could bearly notice it, but I saw it in her eyes)
Then she grabbed her backpack to get out of the room with me. (Beck had already left)
"So about what did Sikowitz talk to you guys?", I asked her and tried not to be too invasive.
"Um…", she started but didn't continue until we reached her scissor covered locker.
She opened it and put her books inside, in fact very gently as if her books were made of glass. Then she closed her locker and again she did it like she could harm it if she slammed the door.
"Sikowitz told us how we could manage to act in a romantic scene although we aren't together", Jade finally broke the silence, when we started to walk to my locker.
"And how does it work?"
Jade frowned for a second as if she forgot about what we were talking.
"At first he told us that we should simply try to forget who the other is but both, Beck and I, told him that it is impossible for us. Then Sikowitz meant that this wasn't very professional of us but that it is okay because we are still students and not professional actors. So he had another technique.
The idea is very simple: Beck and I are supposed to remember just the good times we had with each other. Like one of the most beautiful moments we had spent together. And then we should imagine that the other is the person from the memory. You know, it means that we see the person we were in love with back then. By the way Sikowitz said that we should repeat the scene we should have done on Thursday."
"And wich memory will you pick?", I asked Jade after she finished talking. I hoped that this question wasn't too personal for her at this moment.
"I don't know", she answered me, "Maybe the one of the hot summer day when we were all trapped in the RV except you."
I frowned. "I don't think that I get it. I thaught that the day was horrible because of the high temperature and you thought that it was just and just horrible. At least it's what you and the others have told me."
"No, I didn't mean this. I was thinking about afterwards when we were all at the beach."
"Oh yeah! I remember this too! It was so much fun!"
"You are absolutely right", she told me.
It was strange to talk to jade without her being mean or bossy. She just seemed like a random person I was talking to. I mean: You are absolutely right – Why would Jade West say something like that?
But I think that she made a good choice when she picked this moment at the beach. They were so in love back then.

"Beck? Oh my god Beck! What are you thinking?! Let me down!"
Jade screams loudly and struggles against Beck's strong arms but I can also hear her laugh. (Something I bet that she would never admit)
"Aww, come on Jade!", Beck tries to convince his girlfriend.
"NO! Just no, no ,no ,no! I am not going in the water now!"
„Why not?"
Jade stops struggling against her boyfriend who still carries her in his arms.
"Because", she makes a dramatic break, "We were in the water just half an hour ago!"
"Aaaaand?", he teases Jade.
"And it is too early to go in th water again!"
"Really?" Beck makes a puppy face. "And what if I tell you that I love you?"
"That means if I won't come with you, you don't love me anymore?", Jade asks him playfully and lifts one hand from his neck to play with Beck's hair. (A thing only Jade is allowed to do)
"Of course I will still love you but I won't tell you now. And I know that you love it when I say it."
Beck gives Jade a triumphant look and she seems finally convinced.
"Fine, I'll come with you…" She tries to sound annoyed but everybody can spot the big grin on her face.
"I love you", Beck tells jade and gives her a small kiss on her forehead.

After I stuffed my books in my locker too, Jade and I walked silently to my car to drive home.
